Simple Vietnamese restaurant with great value for money. The waitress was very friendly. We were there with a larger group and had reserved in advance. Everyone's food came at the same time and an incorrectly taken/prepared order was resolved quickly and confidently. If desired, the dishes can also be really spicy (Asia Spicy).

The Ambience: The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and inviting, with stylish furnishings that perfectly match the cuisine. It's a place where you can sit back and enjoy the food to the fullest. Conclusion: Whether for a romantic dinner, a meeting with friends or just to treat yourself – Thanh Nhớ is the perfect place. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it to everyone!

Mi ero seriamente prefisso di non rimettere più piede in uno dei troppi ristoranti di Berlino che, proclamandosi vietnamiti, offrono nel loro vasto menù piatti di altre cucine asiatiche - giapponesi, thai ecc. Se non ho mantenuto l'impegno è perché la mia compagna ed io abbiamo fatto un buco nell'acqua in un locale siriano situato poco distante, che ci aveva attirato e dichiarava di essere aperto fino alle 22 ma alle 20.29 ci ha gentilmente respinti perché la cucina era già chiusa (mah...). Chi aveva voglia di ricominciare una laboriosa ricerca? Meglio puntare su qualcosa in zona, e questo Thanh Nho aveva l'aria di essere un po' più effettivamente vietnamita di tanti altri. E così è, infatti, malgrado la seconda parte della carta zeppa di sushi, maki, sashimi e via dicendo. Piatti di sapore effettivamente da dintorni del Mekong (zuppe e secondi di riso, di pasta ecc.), con largo uso di latte di cocco e di arachidi, anche se i presunti spaghetti di riso a me sono parsi normali tagliatelle, e prezzi bassi. Buono il caffè vietnamita, come al solito lentamente filtrato goccia a goccia per depositarsi sul fondo di latte condensato da mescolare a fine versamento, e conto onesto (con un bicchiere di vino, un'acqua, un cocktail, una zuppa, due secondi e il caffè citato, 51 euro). Ma il viziaccio di obbligare a pagare in contanti imperversa anche qui.

The food was fabulous and the service was really friendly too. I ate numbers seven and 31 and both were extremely tasty. The main course was delicious and I haven't eaten such a great starter in a long time. I was also satisfied with the portion size. A visit to this restaurant is definitely a must for lovers of Vietnamese cuisine!!!

Really exceptional flavors, freshly made, and served with (justifiable) pride. Had the Bun Bo Nam Bo (beef) and Pho Xao(chicken). Bun Bo was bursting with fresh aromatics, salty and sour flavors balanced with savory beef. Pho Xao was smoky and filled with perfectly grilled vegetables. Will definitely be back for another visit.

The most tasty viet food I had in Berlin! And this is not a light comment because I have been about 20 viet restaurants.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. I found a cricket in one dish and a hair in the other dish. Such incidents are completely unacceptable. Instead of apologizing or offering a refund, we still had to pay full price. There was no courtesy from the staff which made the entire visit very unpleasant. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant and will never visit again.

Very tasty food and nice atmosphere! The older comments say that the place could use a coat of paint because it didn't look that inviting and I think that's what happened. It's a small place but very welcoming and the staff are very friendly. We'd love to come back!

The would-be boss comes to me at the back and asks in an absolutely unfriendly manner: What do you want? and this one with a sound! That is not how it works! Never go there again! I ate a very tasty Pho soup with tofu. I thought the portion was perfect, the spiciness was just right and the filling was harmonious. There was also a delicious mango lassi. It's been a long time since I've had such good pho soup.

Nice little place in a pretty neighborhood, not far from cool bars and nightlife. The dishes are super flavorful (anything with the coconut milk broth is delicious) and definitely big enough to order without appetizers. I'd go back if I ever find myself in the area.

It didn't suit our taste. You can't say it was bad, but we don't feel like going there a second time. Portions are large and the food is cooked without glutamate. Prices are in the normal range or rather higher because everything has become more expensive. It's bearable when you have work. The salmon soup was very good. The rest was pretty okay, service was extremely long, although I apologized for that.

Ich war das erste Mal dort essen und wählte die Sommerrollen sowie einen Reisnudelsalat. Die Bestellung wurde sehr zügig aufgenommen und ich musste nicht lange auf das Essen warten. Es sah nicht nur fantastisch aus, es schmeckte auch so. Ich gehe öfter mal Vietnamesisch essen, aber so eine Geschmacksexplosion hatte ich noch nie. Wie die anderen Speisen zubereitet werden und wie sie schmecken, weiß ich leider nicht. Mit meiner Auswahl war ich sehr zufrieden. Der Preis stimmte. Für mich eine gute Lokalität.

Essen 5 Sterne, Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Schade nur, dass man keine Rechnungen kriegt und nur bar oder mit PayPal bezahlen kann. Das finde ich immer ein bisschen unseriös.

Schnelle Bedienung und auch Bringen der Speisen. Insgesamt sehr lecker gewesen, zumal Koriander auch eher genügsam verwendet wurde bei meiner bestellten Suppe - find ich Klasse! Die Sauer-Scharf-Suppe war sehr lecker und auch das Rote Curry war angenehm scharf ohne höllisch zu brennen. Die Mischung aus Reis, Beilage und Soße war für mein Empfinden auch perfekt, da der Reis weder trocken noch in Soße geschwommen ist. Das habe ich nicht allzu oft erlebt in anderen Restaurants. Am Ambiente könnte man noch etwas feilen, damit die Lokalität etwas mehr asiatisch wirkt, sonst aber sehr zweckdienlich. Positiv ist auch der Außenbereich, auch wenn er direkt an der teils stark befahrenen Potsdamer Straße.

Wir lieben Thanh Nho schon seit Jahren. Das Essen ist richtig, richtig lecker, egal, was man isst. Die Salate sind super, ebenso wie die Currys, die Soßen bei jedem Gericht sind sooo lecker, ebenso das Sushi. Alles ist super frisch und ohne Glutamat! Die Preise sind auch okay, der Laden wurde renoviert und wirkt viel einladender als früher. Der Besitzer ist auch sehr freundlich und schnell, man wartet nicht lange auf das Essen. Für uns einer der besten Vietnamesen in Berlin! Wir werden immer wieder kommen. LG von den Kölnern!

Besuche das Restaurant seit Jahren. Egal ob vor Ort oder Essen bestellt, bisher immer zufrieden gewesen. Frisch zubereitete Gerichte schnell und lecker! Als Vegetarier liebe ich die vegane Karte mit ihrer großen Auswahl. Für den Geschmack und Service sind die Preise in einem guten Rahmen. :) Service vor Ort und auch bei der Lieferung immer sehr nett und freundlich zu uns.

Still Not close to Vietnamese food people, they sell sushi as well... Whaat if you make good Vietnamese food then why sushi....in Vietnamese restaurant. Price was staggering...

We had bun bo nam bo and curry, which were both really tasty. The only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bun bo nam bo was hot and already had the sauce on, I prefer when the noodles are cold and the sauce is on the side. The server (maybe owner too) was very nice and the place was cute. There are four tables outside, but big enough to share with another party if they don't mind.

Das nenn ich mal ein gelungenes uns wohlschmeckendes Essen. Musste es obwohl ich in Berlin lebe, durch Freundschaften es kennen lernen. Essen wird ohne Geschmacksverstärker oder ähnlichen Produkten gefertigt und durch Gewürzen lecker aufgefangen und schmackhaft gemacht. Für mich ein guter Geheimtip und denkt daran es geht leider nur mit Barzahlung zu bezahlen. Aber es rentiert sich dieses Essen zu erleben. An den Besitzer ein tolles Lob, für die freundlichkeit und der tollen Küche. Ein super Koch. Danke für dieses leckere Essen

We were looking for a place to eat and came across this restaurant. It may not look amazing from the outside but the food is great and the service is super fast.

Soup had no soup in it ;) just noodles. Quite disappointing.

The food here is quite tasty! At the beginning the place didn't look super great from the outside, but we still went in and I'm glad we did because the food was delicious! It is a bit small inside and it does smell a lot like food. I didn't like the fact that they don't allow you to pay with card, they should definitely catch up.
