We went late during closing time and still they accepted us without reservation. Very tasty chicken burger /sandwich and for that low price in Munich city it’s a steal. Go for it.

The food taste is alright. The kitchen and eating area was dirty.

I ordered "Xôi mặn thập cẩm" (sticky rice with chicken liver pate, sausage, egg, char siu pork, etc.) and was very impressed! I hadn't heard of this dish before and actually copied another guest's recipe. It was delicious and a blend of flavors. I highly recommend it and would gladly order it again!

The grilled meat sandwich at this restaurant is very delicious. The quality of the crust has been improved and is no longer as crumbly as before!

We dined at your place today as tourists. We ordered the pan bread, which was served very quickly – but we had to take care of it ourselves. The price of €14 per portion is relatively high, especially considering that the dish was "stretched" with a lot of vegetables, which isn't typical for a traditional pan bread. The pâté had an unpleasant liver odor, and the pork meatball was mixed with too much flour and raw onions. After our meal, we were informed that payment was only possible by cash, which was a problem for us as tourists, as we didn't have any cash with us. When paying by card (not Mastercard), we were charged a surcharge – however, this wasn't visibly displayed anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant, which is incorrect. If a surcharge is charged for card payments, this must be communicated clearly and transparently. Otherwise, it is a violation of applicable consumer protection and business regulations. We are disappointed by this experience and hope that you will reconsider your procedures, especially with regard to dealing with international guests.

**High Expectations, Rather Disappointing in the End** We visited Banh Mi Minh for the first time to try Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches. Our last banh mi visit was in Paris, where we had a very good experience – our expectations in Munich were correspondingly high. **Atmosphere:** The shop is quite small. The few tables (about 3-4) on the terrace quickly filled up in the summery 28°C (82°F), so we had to sit inside. The interior was cramped, with a portable air conditioner positioned in the middle of the room, and the exhaust hose lying unprotected on the floor all the way to the entrance – a rather makeshift solution that could certainly have been designed more elegantly. **Service:** There is no traditional service – you order and pay directly at the counter. Perhaps not a problem for some, but rather impersonal for others. **Food:** The banh mi cost between €7.50 and €8.50. That's a hefty price for a sandwich, especially compared to Paris, where we've had larger, more generously filled banh mi for €3.50 to €4.50. The sandwich tasted okay, but we see room for improvement in the amount of filling and the value for money. The pho soup for €14 also didn't impress us – in our opinion, there are definitely better alternatives in Munich. **Conclusion:** Those who are already used to high-quality banh mi may be disappointed here. The taste was solid, but the value for money and the overall experience unfortunately didn't meet our expectations.

Great place for Banh Mis. Their baguettes are quite possibly the best vietnamese banh mi bread in Munich. Very crispy and light. I can recommend all of their pork banh mis. The fresh sugarcane juice is quite refreshing in the summer. All in all, a simple self service restaurant for great banh mis at a good price.

Food was good. Bahn mi was a bit small and flat. No grilled pork inside as described. I assume larger portions or cheaper prices will attract much more student? The plate was tasty with a lot of umami taste.

I lived in Vietnam for seven years and have been searching for authentic Vietnamese restaurants ever since. I've never had such good bánh mì in Germany. The bread was light and crispy, the kind you only get in Vietnam. The Vietnamese coffee was just as delicious as it is over there. If I lived in Munich, I'd be here every day. Thank you

Delicious banh mi Taste very similar to Vietnamese. Minus point: the baguette was a bit flaky and could have had more dough; a bit more topping would have been fair. Otherwise, super delicious. Will eat there again.

From a Vietnamese: You can't find a better Vietnamese restaurant in Munich. The dishes are fusion, but they're the closest thing you'll get to authentic Vietnamese food. Absolutely 10/10. I only gave it one star because people always look at the lower reviews first :).

The banh mi was okay but nothing special. The baguette was soggy. This place gets two stars because the banh mi was served warm. Another downside was that card payments were accepted there starting at €15. The staff were very unfriendly, so I won't be returning.

We ordered two banh mi, three mixed Vietnamese sweets ("Che thap cẩm"), and a portion of mixed sticky rice ("Xôi thap cẩm"). Overall, the food was good. Unfortunately, one cup of che was sour and inedible—obviously spoiled. My wife saw that two of the cups had been taken out of the refrigerator, while one was unrefrigerated. This suggests that not all of the products were properly refrigerated. Food hygiene is very important—especially with delicate foods like che. Improper storage can endanger customers' health. We hope that the staff will pay more attention to proper food storage in the future.

The food is absolutely amazing, the tastiest banh mi I've ever eaten, and the homemade iced teas are also really delicious. We sat outside, the atmosphere could be made a little more inviting there, but I'll always come back for the food!

Food was great the Bahn Mi was amazing. Atmosphere had a slight modern yet asian vibe to it. Bread was very crispy it reminded me of chips or crisps for the UK readers. The meat was very savory and not too heavy while the veg added a nice freshness to it making the meal very balanced without making me feel sliggish afterwards.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bánh Mì Minh at Theresienstraße 79, 80333 Munich, and I was impressed. The restaurant offers an impressive selection of Vietnamese street food dishes, including delicious spring rolls (Cha Gio) and refreshing boba teas. Of particular note, however, are the diverse Bánh Mì variations, which impress with crispy baguette, spicy meat or tofu, fresh vegetables, and aromatic herbs. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance cozy. An absolute must for lovers of Vietnamese cuisine in Munich!

Probably the most authentic Vietnamese bánh mì one can find in Germany (and Europe?): crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, tasty fillings, simply delicious. Trust me, I'm Vietnamese. Excellent options of traditional warm dishes, drinks and desserts too.

Unfortunately I only have to give it 2 stars. The reason is that the breads have now become more expensive (which I still understand) but the fact that the contents were a lot less than I've been used to for over 8 years, I think it's a real shame. Either I was just unlucky this time with the contents of the 4 different Banh Mi or there simply weren't enough ingredients left when I ordered at 5 p.m. on Sunday. I'll come back one day and when things go back to "normal" as I'm used to then the review will of course be corrected.

My favorite Banh Mi load!! I've been going here for years. I think the Banh Mis are very close to what they have in Vietnam. The perfect bread and the different variations are mega. I could eat three of them every time. Even my friend from Berlin comes here every time and raves about it because there is no good Banh Mi on offer in Berlin. She always takes 6-10 pieces home with her when she goes back. I can only recommend the store.

The best bánh mì I've tried so far in Munich. It's quick, very reasonably priced and tastes heavenly every time! The coconut jelly dessert and the lemongrass teas are also highly recommended! I always enjoy coming here!

Deliciously marinated, juicy, crispy tofu with fresh coriander leaves + fresh fried vegetables. Never eaten such delicious tofu. Applies to both tofu sandwiches.

The food wasn't bad but not great. The meat was chewy and the peppers underdone. Some dishes don't have all ingredients written on the menu, so it's easy to get something you don't like. The bread was excellent.

We counted many Asian guests. You probably appreciate the delicious, authentically prepared food. We tried Banh mi chao and Co'm trôn. Both were excellent and well portioned. The price-performance ratio is tip top. We can definitely recommend it!

I'm so sad that you're no longer at Stachus because it's so far away from me. I love your banh mis and was finally here in the new shop. Just crazy. My friend found the veggie sausage a bit dry. I haven't tried it. The one with chicken is once again absolutely perfect!

Rating: 2/5 stars Unfortunately, my visit to Banh Mi Minh was disappointing. Even though there were only two people in front of us, we had to wait over 50 minutes - that's far too long. Banh Mi: Tasted good (4/5), but the portion was small and not appropriate for the price. Pho: Very disappointing - dry meat, chopped, poor quality noodles and lemongrass in the soup that doesn't traditionally belong there. The broth was bland and seemed bland. Banh Xeo: Crispy, but the filling was disappointing - a few dry shrimps, hardly any meat and mostly bean sprouts. Overall, the filling was very sparse and the taste was flat, sometimes even slightly burnt. If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine, you should look for an alternative.

The best bánh mì I've had in Europe! Bánh mì thịt nướng and bánh mì heo quay were both fantastic. My Vietnamese wife and I went back the next day for more, and even ordered extra to take with us. Phenomenal food. The only negative is they prefer you to pay in cash, and they looked at me strangely when I asked for the receipt. Hmm.

If you're going there and expect a nice Vietnamese dessert like "chè thập cẩm" or "chè thái" you may get disappointed. I also asked my vietnamese aunt and friends how they liked it after I bought it for them. They were disappointed and after I tasted it, I also knew why. The first thing they noticed (and what I unfortunately didn't) is that they put the coconut milk in it right away, even though I said I want it "to go". Nobody even asked to separate it. If I compare this with chè in Berlin, then this was actually sad and the portions were so small you may think they wanna sell for kids. BUT I went there to get the typical Vietnamese desserts so I will only say I don't recommend "chè thập cẩm" and "chè thái". Plus I originally wanted "chè bưởi" which was unfortunately sold out quick.

Definitely very authentic shop. Has Vietnamese dishes that are not available everywhere. I can especially recommend the desserts if you generally like them. It may not be perfect for staying for several hours, but it is still very inviting and perfect for a lunch break. Especially the Bánh Mì.

Tastes very good, but banh mi could be bigger

The food was good, but the service was the worst. We ordered drinks and banh mi at the same time, but half of us received our food (without drinks), and after about an hour, the rest of us was really hungry, so we decided to ask for the rest of our order. The man at the cashier told us that we had confused them and that we should wait instead of asking for our food (after an hour of ordering??). The first group of us who received their food first got their drinks after we asked for the rest of the order (they even finished eating before they got their drinks). The man didn’t even apologize and instead seemed mad. The banh mi was excellent, but the service was 👎🏼. The table next to us even received undercooked banh xeo. They asked for another one, but only got it after they had already finished the rest of their meal.

In general, a nice place, but it takes forever to get your food. And then they even serve with the wrong meal. For lunchtime, definitely not recommended to go.

Lovely authentic Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of the city

Banh Mi Minh is one of the top addresses when it comes to Banh Mi here in Germany. Every time I'm here in Munich I also order for home. Even if you prepare the banh mi in the air fryer at home for 2-3 minutes, it will become crispy again. Thank you for giving us a piece of home.

The only place I go to get some banh mi in Munich! Decent northern style Phở, could use more herbs topping imo. Xôi thập cẩm is also pretty delicious!

Unfriendly customer service and disrespectful communication with customers, which leads to a bad experience. Sugarcane juice NOT recommended: lots of water and little sugarcane taste, €5 is too expensive for these drinks. Summary: I'm NEVER coming back because of the poor customer service.
