Lemon Grass Scent in Berlin

Excellent meal, hearty and delicious! A little noisy (small room and two large tables) but nothing too bothersome. The servers were fantastic!

I ordered via Uber Eats, but as far as the packaging goes, I would unfortunately advise against using this delivery service entirely; see photos!

Food was tasty and delicious, portions are generous despite cheap prices, and the staff was really welcoming. Would recommend without hesitation !!

We got here on a Rick Steves recommendation but also saw good reviews on Google. Had summer rolls with chicken- two large ones with a great sauce. Then fried rice and massama curry. Both were excellent with vegetables cooked perfectly- warmed through but still a little crisp. One of the best curries I’ve ever had.

Excellent daily specials. The peanut dish was delicious with fresh vegetables and tofu. The tofu was also exceptionally well prepared. The prices are fair, and the seating is pleasant both inside and outside.

Ordered in from here. The tom yum soup was excellent but the massaman curry was very watery and the peanut curry was under seasoned.

Everything fits and tastes good too

Really good curry and massaman options, both with meat and vegetarians. Portions are big, I would even say enough for two semi hungry grown up’s. Prices are fine, around 14-15 Euro per dish.

I like to come here for lunch every now and then - delicious and the staff are very friendly.

The meal that I got was too oily and had meat aftertaste though it was vegetarian. I didn’t like it.

Super delicious Vietnamese food with high quality of the food used with a lot of knowledge of the authentic cuisine! The staff is very polite and attentive. The prices are ok too. The interior could be made more comfortable, as it seems a bit cool here, a few plants and cheaper lighting would be great.

When I tried to pay with a credit card after eating, I didn't even think about getting cash and ended up paying several times the price of the food with my credit card. I had an upset stomach after eating.

Used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Now you can't go here anymore. Everything is prepared incorrectly, very rude and no longer tasty. The male waiter is very cheeky.

Both my wife and I had upset stomachs after eating here. Had the massaman and coconut curry - both tasted kind of funky. The salad in the summer rolls was brown and way too old. Will not come back here - sorry! PS: we eat out a lot at Asian places in the area. But this place is a miss.

My wife politely asked if she could use the toilet and would be happy to pay for it. Well noticed traveling with a baby. Was forced out of the store with the words only for guests. Unfortunately, this is not worthy of the city of Berlin. Unfriendly to no end... At the end of the song, two customers who had eaten there several times were lost...

Throughout the city we easily find restaurants from different parts of Asia: Vietnam, Thailand, Japan... Close to the hotel where we stayed, and on the recommendation of the staff, we discovered Lemon Grass Scent. A Vietnamese/Thai restaurant, relaxed and welcoming, featuring a variety of curry, pad thai and pho dishes, with special dishes available that change every week. The staff is very kind and gentle, we accompany the dishes with jasmine tea, perfect for cold days.

I found the food very good. It's set up like this, it's small and you almost inevitably sit in the draft of the entrance.

Oh my this place is so good! The staff was super sweet and inviting, and the food was just top notch! Had summer rolls which were absolutely delicious, wine was good (and only 20 Euro/bottle), and the entrees were just fantastic.

Kari do is amazing, flavorful, and filling. Great value for money and portion size! I order this a few times a week

Review Udon Yaki The court is convincing on all levels. At the beginning of each taste test, the chewing apparatus has the privilege of working through different textures, consistencies and resistances. Because the vegetables are steam cooked, the character of each type of vegetable is retained. The taste of the aftertaste, characterized by the sauce, is characterized by the broth of the vegetables and especially the beef. This makes the dish very harmonious because it draws on its own character. P 9/10

Stopped over for a quick lunch while walking past this simple unassuming restaurant. Had Udon noodles. "Perfect" is all I would say.

Enjoyed a very lovely meal last night. Very large portions - sadly couldn’t finish my special of ‘flavourful’ - a delicious bowl of chicken in a spicy sauce with fresh vegetables and herbs. Husband had the Saigon curry with duck and said was very tasty too. Very nice service too.

Loved the staff very friendly and understanding, the food was fresh and very fragrant and they have a homemade chili sauce to die for. I recommend the gyoza and pho. Also we even got a fortune cookie in the end ♥️.

Excellent food superlative service!

Very tasty food, everything fresh, everything was great, everyone was full, very attentive service and very cheap. It's a shame that we don't live in Berlin, our new regular bar would be. If you consider how much a pizza costs these days, you'll be surprised! Next time in Berlin, eat here again!

Unfortunately the Massaman curry tasted like salt, and we were less impressed with Lemon Grass this time compared to other visits. Its a shame that the food quality has suffered, because it was a nice place in the past.

Wow, I'm thrilled. We were there for lunch and the service is not only friendly and fast but also very attentive. We had a small child with us and the waitress provided us with a high chair straight away! Delicious food at fair prices, the Pad Thai was our favorite. We will be back!

The food is absolutely amazing - every dish I tried was delicious. The service is also perfect. I especially recommend the spring rolls, pho and to check out the dishes from the smaller menu sheet because they never disappoint.

Authentic Vietnamese food with good quantity. Staff there are very nice and friendly. We really enjoyed dining there, and it’s saved on my favorite list for the next visits. :)

I only wish we have the stomach to try more dishes and the mango lassi drink. We opted for pot of tea since it was late. Curry and the soup were very flavorful and reminded me of Thailand, minus the spicyness. For those who prefer spicy foods, may want to ask staff. Summer rolls with fresh veggies/herbs/mint leaves, took me back home. Really enjoyed the food a lot and employees were very friendly. Portions were huge; the photos do not show how big the bowl of curry really is and the summer rolls too. Prices were good as well. Wish we have one more night in Berlin to return to Lemon Grass Scent.

Das Lemon Grass Scent ist ein fantastisches Restaurant. Das Essen ist einfach nur phänomenal. Es schmeckt wunderbar, wird ansehnlich serviert und die Portionen sind groß. Im Restaurant herrscht auch ein super freundliches Ambiente, das auch den Mitarbeiter:innen zu verdanken ist. Die einzige Kritik, die ich äußern kann ist, dass es leider nur eine sehr kleine Cola Zero Flasche gibt (0,2l) hier wäre eine größere Alternative wünschenswert. Abseits der besagten Kritik ist das Restaurant super und verdient 5 Sterne.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, echt schick eingerichtet, perfekt für ein schönes Abendessen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Kellner auch extrem freundlich und zuvorkommen. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Mein Lieblings-Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft. Falls ich mal zu Hause essen möchte wird alles in der Keramikschale eingepackt und man spart so den ganzen Verpackungsmüll. Am Service gibt’s nichts auszusetzen und die Mitarbeiter haben immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Außerdem ist die Qualität konstant gut und die Portionen in der Regel sehr großzügig. Letzteres ist für mich persönlich immer ein Argument um hier statt woanders zu essen. Bitte weiter so!

Så mysig atmosfär utomhus! Kändes tryggt och säkert. Maten var otrolig, enorma portioner. Beställde nudlar med tofu som var så himla god. Finns många val kring tofu, kyckling, anka med mera. Jag och min familj åt där två gånger. Jättegod mango lassi.

Lekker eten in leuk restaurant met zelfs een terras met bijzonder vriendelijke bediening. Verse groente, niet al te heet/pittig. De Tom Ka en Saigon Curry geproefd en ‘sehr gut’ bevonden. En verder de gerechten op bijgaande foto’s waarvan ik de naam niet meer weet. Leuke straat ook.

Hatte sommerrollen mit tofu bestellt und eine lily limo Ich habe eine somerrolle mit hühnerfleisch und haaren bekommen Das war das ekelhafteste ûberhaupt ich bin seit 9 jahren vegetarisch Ich habe das essen zurück gegeben und neue bekommen, wieder mit mehreren Haaren darin Mir wurde dann gesagt ich müsste nicht zahlen Dann mussten wir extrem lange auf die rechnung warten für meinen freund Es ist niemand gekommen (wir waren literarisch die einzigen gäste) Ich musste dann rein gehen und sagen dass wir zahlen wollen Dann musste ich die limo doch zahlen und es wurde so getan als wäre es eine große geste dass ich meine sommerrollen nicht zahlen musste obwohl ich die nicht einmal essen konnte Keine Entschuldigung, keine Entschädigung und nur arroganz und schlechter service

Vegetarier werden hier verarscht: "Suppe ist vegetarisch" bedeutet hier, dass die Grundlage aus Hühnersuppe ist aber ohne Fleischstücke serviert wird. JEDE der Suppen dort ist auf Hühnerbrühen-Basis gemacht. "Anders geht nicht" ist dann die Auskunft, "aber schmeckt!". Wir haben in der Küche nochmal nachgefragt, weil sich die neue Aushilfskellnerin verplappert hat. Bisher wurde uns versprochen, dass die Suppen vegetarisch sind, weil man sie mit Tofu bestellen kann. 8-(
