Extremely tasty, quick service and ambience - BLOCK HOUSE.

Have reserved in advance. Arrive 10 minutes before reservation to see a huge queue in front of the restaurant. Surely they haven't made a reservation and are hoping to get a spot? Incorrect. Everyone seemed to have reservations. The restaurant was completely overbooked. After waiting outside for 45 minutes, we were finally invited in. The three of us were given a table for 1-2 people. This was then added to a group of strangers to create even more space in this narrow and completely darkened restaurant. By the way, the chairs were uncomfortable folding chairs. It was incredibly loud and the service staff were overwhelmed with everything. No wonder with so many guests in such a small space. The menu is rather cheap. The food is OK. However, I would prefer €10 per person. Pay more in a nice atmosphere with trained and friendly staff. When we left to tell the owner that we were dissatisfied, he became violent and loud. Heard from other guests that it's always like that here...

It couldn't be better; everything is just right here. Thank you for our stay, the excellent food, and the very, very friendly service. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice staff and very tasty food. The lava cake was the perfect rounding off to go home more than satisfied.

Matjes with fried potatoes: very greasy overall. Cheese schnitzel: probably a convenience store. The taste was rather low-end. The location of the restaurant is fantastic, though. Service was okay.
