Arizona Steak - House in Hamburg

The most important thing in the steakhouse was the steak (entrcote) which was excellent. Tender and the unmistakable nutty flavor of the beef from overseas was present. Not to mention the incredibly low price, simply unbelievable. When I come back to Hamburg, I'll go back to Arizona. Absolute recommendation!!!

Is it possible that a lot of little people in Hamburg visit this restaurant??? I haven't been there yet, but I've found out more. The negative reviews about the ambience and the seating, the staff, that you can't go there with old people, that the toilets are on a floor below, that it should be more expensive and better, loud music like at the main train station (I I don't take the train often, but at which main station does loud music play) and everything around it, including bloody steaks (the blood stays in the slaughterhouse) can only come from such little cakes. Just go to another restaurant where you feel more comfortable and can pay "a little" more and don't complain about this concept.

Good food, the cooking points of the steaks were unfortunately not right for all 3 steaks, T-bone steaks were unfortunately riddled with sight and cartilage, but a new steak was offered by the service. Unfortunately there are huge slices of onions on the salads. Taste ok. Pepper sauce was simply a gravy, the pepper must have run its course. Otherwise everything tasted ok but nothing else really.

The food was okay but the staff was so unbelievably unfriendly and when I paid they knew that I wanted to pay with my EC card then they said no EC payment was possible only cash or credit card then I paid in cash and saw that EC payment was possible . So I'll never eat there again, it's impossible

Been here several times. But today the service is really the worst ever. Not even worth a star at all. Especially the female waitress…. We have to sit in front of kitchen and when they serve the food, they almost bumped into us several times. And the lady forced us to tip her 10% with rude attitude. When we refused to tip her because of her rude service, she cursed in front of us …….

The benches and wooden parts outside the table can be cleaned... Otherwise everything is ok.

I'm very sorry but the service is very bad. I felt sick right before dinner and ended up not being able to eat any of the things I ordered. So I asked the waiter if I could take the food with me to eat at home later. Then he said - "I'll bring you something and you pack it yourself" Is that the way to treat your guests!? I could have left the food. Because I wasn't feeling well, I didn't want it to go to waste. If I have to pay extra to have it packed, no problem. But the treatment of the guest is bad. A little more friendliness would be appropriate.

The price is explained by the quality - then it's better to go to a good steakhouse. The food came before the wine/drinks. And the music is constantly turned up. As loud as at a main train station.

So far we have eaten at this restaurant every month and have always been satisfied. Til today! Today was an experience that I have never experienced before. First of all, when we arrived, since we eat here often, we knew straight away what we wanted to order. We then asked the waitress that we would like to order. In an annoyed tone, the waitress said that we had just arrived... okay, that's just a matter of fact. Everything went normally until after dessert. As we were clearing away the waitress asked if we wanted anything else, we said no. Since we would like to sit together for a while, we stayed seated. Then the waitress came and asked if we could order anything else? Or whether we pay? All right, then we'll pay. We wanted to pay by card first and then give the tip as cash. The waitress arrived and put the receipt on the table with the question “how much?” asking what amount she should enter into the payment device. We found that very crazy. That the tip is expected straight away. Then the payment didn't work, you couldn't pay with EC. So then someone had to go and withdraw cash. When the payment process was canceled, the waitress threw the receipt on the table... unbelievable! The waitress came back with the wallet and placed it open on the table and asked: “My tip?” We then rounded up the amount we were supposed to pay because up to that point we really still had the tip money separately (really stupid of us). The waitress then loudly said “what??? So you only want to give 80 cents of advice? Normally you guess 10%”. She almost screamed at that moment so that everyone would hear it and it would be embarrassing for us. But not like that. That's why we ultimately didn't give any advice! Not in such a way! We have been here very often, but today was the first time we were served by this waitress. Before, we often had the colleague with the voluminous curls, a great waitress! We always left a big tip, at least 10%. But the waitress today is so rude and unacceptable! The food is really amazing and we will come back for the food. But we will continue to give no advice on this behavior!!!

Good steak at a reasonable price

Mega steak at incredible prices. No reservations possible. First come first served. Then you have to wait outside and are let in one by one. Staff is very friendly. Sometimes it takes a while for drinks to arrive, but that's the only criticism.

We were there on a Sunday with a reservation (you should definitely make a reservation) and there was a line outside. . After the visit it was clear to us why. Absolutely recommended were five people, all before, main, dessert plus drinks and were just over 100 euros... (the prices are unbelievable 😃) from now on we will only go there if we want to eat steak!

We traveled almost 3 hours with my in-laws and child for a few days in Hamburg. My wife had reserved a table early. Then we arrive and it’s company holidays. Vacation was granted, but some information about it would have been nice, especially because my mother-in-law doesn't walk very well.

Very tasty and inexpensive steakhouse. It was a nice atmosphere in which you could celebrate a little. Unfortunately, my fruit plate for dessert wasn't completely fresh and spoiled my appetite.

The decor and quality of the restaurant did not meet expectations (4.2 stars). Then my sunglasses disappeared. After leaving the restaurant, I realized that I forgot my expensive sunglasses on the table. Only 1-2 minutes later I asked the staff about the sunglasses, but apparently no one found them. Very strange, since the table was only reoccupied when I entered and I can therefore rule out that the sunglasses were put in by the new guests. I also had the feeling that the staff didn't make any effort to find the glasses. There is no recommendation from me and my family.

Aber zu erwarten, dass das Essen appetitlich und ansehnlich aussieht, sobald es serviert wird, wäre glaube ich zu viel verlangt! Das Auge isst hier definitiv nicht mit! Fettige Teller mit Fingerabdrücken, Soße und Öl auf dem Teller kleckerweise verteilt…. Aber die TK Calamaris waren sehr lecker…Fast wie zu Hause 🤣

Steaks are prepared quite properly according to the customer's wishes and taste quite good, nothing more and nothing more. You shouldn't expect gourmet meat or special cuts here, but the price-performance ratio is 100% right here. The portions are overall very generous. The service is attentive and on point. Reservations are recommended as there are often long queues in front of the store at peak times.

The Argentinian steakhouse Arizona on the Winterhude market square is very rustic and quite winding. The interior has seen better days and yet the restaurant still has a charm and an atmosphere that is somewhat reminiscent of South America or Spain. The audience is pleasantly mixed, many foreign nations can be found in the babble of voices, which you almost forget when you read the sensational prices from another century on the menu. You rub your eyes and think, it can't happen, not in 2024. A sirloin steak for less than ten euros? The large glass of Spezi for 2.50 euros? How do they do that? I have no idea, but let me tell you one thing: it tastes good! The steaks are of good quality and the baked potato is also a nice size. The garlic bread also tastes great. Instead of herb butter there is a kind of Mojo Verde... Quite good, and yet: there is perhaps a little missing the final kick from the steak pepper and the sour cream is also a touch too weak in taste and when the medium-rare steak ends up on the table , that's not quite perfect either. But this is all whining at a high level. After all, you only pay half the price of the competition and despite everything, the food here is very good! By the way, the service is quick and friendly, so the service is good. The only thing that's a bit annoying is the loud phone ringing for hours in the front part of the restaurant, but you can hardly hear the noise in the back part of the shop and there's supposed to be a little bit of South America... So: great value for money!

There is no restaurant in Germany that offers such a good price-performance ratio. 2 people salad beforehand, both steak and wine about 30 €. The only thing is that it's not particularly nice or relaxed now, but it's perfect, especially at lunchtime

You get what you pay. In terms of price quality, this beats a lot of steak restaurants. 15 Euro for 250g Rump steak with potatoe and bread is ridicilously cheap. Restaurant is a bit packed and music gets far too loud at times, but Overall its a good place when on budget.

Very tasty meat, orders come to the table very quickly even if it was very full. I missed the fried potatoes, that would have been a better combination than a baked potato, but it was still delicious. The food was good, unfortunately we had to wait forever. The waiter said beforehand that something must have gone wrong with our order because we also had to wait forever for the drinks. The food was tasty, but my meat was definitely too rare for medium rare. It was very cramped in the restaurant and therefore loud and crowded. We had a table for two in the former cloakroom, there was no ceiling light there, it was a bit dark, but okay for us since we didn't make a reservation. The prices there are unbeatable, so you can accept the narrowness and the noise. We blame the long waiting time on an oversight 😉 If it hadn't been for that, I probably would have given it 5 stars ⭐️

This is a 50/50 thing regarding the quality of the food. One day you have very good meat and baked potatoes and another day your meat is inedible and like rubber you get stale baked potatoes. The service is just like the food! The positive thing is the atmosphere, lots of people and loud music to hang out.

The food, environment, service (except waitress Masha) and everything else were excellent. The value for money was excellent and I can't fault it in any way. Unfortunately, however, there was an unpleasant situation that really bothered me on my birthday when I was there with my family. The waitress who was in charge of our table (her name was Masha) was obviously having a conflict with a colleague. They argued in front of us throughout our stay. Masha didn't take our order and spent most of her time complaining and sulking, which ruined my birthday. Unfortunately, the boss was not there to intervene that day. I recommend that such a person should not work in a restaurant where the boss takes customers seriously. She was very disrespectful. Her behavior was extremely rude and unacceptable and she should best be fired.

Went there spontaneously today and probably won't come back. The furnishings are “old-fashioned” which actually isn’t a problem for us, but the window sills could still have been wiped. In general the cleanliness was semi-optimal. We were served straight away, but the waitress kept interrupting us during the ordering process and wasn't in a particularly good mood. The food was okay for the price, but the plates weren't particularly well presented. We simply weren't satisfied with the service and decided not to tip. Then we paid by card. Only came from the waitress "and nothing for me?" In the end, one drink too many was added to our bill. Unfortunately we only noticed it later. A PITY!

My visit to this Argentinian steakhouse was a real disappointment. The meat was tough and dry, a far cry from the juicy and tender steak I was expecting. Overall, I would definitely not recommend this steakhouse due to the poor ambience, poor quality of the food and the inappropriate behavior of the waitress. There are far better options for Argentinian steak lovers in the city.

Hello, we were there on Sunday June 23rd. Never experienced such unfriendly service, the older waitress, constantly shouted "wait outside, I'll get her in", constantly rolled her eyes, constantly shook her head. Unfortunately, the gentleman who was at the counter wasn't very friendly either and made us feel very uncomfortable. (Hope they had a bad day). Apparently everything was reserved, we were there for 1 1/5 hours, the restaurant was half empty Food top as always.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. The menu offers an impressive selection of quality steaks and sides to suit every taste. My steak was cooked perfectly – beautifully browned on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The side dishes and homemade sauces were also excellent and rounded off the taste experience perfectly. The staff's recommendations were excellent and the dessert was the culmination of an all-round successful evening. What particularly impressed me was the attention to detail and the high quality of the ingredients that could be tasted in every dish. It is clear that Arizona Steak-House places great value on the satisfaction of its guests and always strives to meet the highest culinary standards. In addition, the prices are unbeatable and simply fascinating. I can highly recommend the Arizona Steak House in Winterhude to every steak lover and gourmet. A visit to the steakhouse is a journey back in time to the 70s/80s. The varied menu offers, among other things, dishes from old times of very good quality and at sensational prices. You don't stay here for long, it's a bit cramped and there's a lot of noise. But good guest throughput justifies these low prices. Great concept! The regulars appreciate it. Be sure to reserve in advance!

Anyone who can cope with outdated furnishings and broken soup bowls will be rewarded with no-frills steaks with garlic bread and potatoes at sensational prices. Service very friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being full. Beef soup could be stronger, black bean soup sour, spicy... T-bone 500g and rump steak grilled to perfection, baked potato and garlic bread ok. Reservation required, parking is a matter of luck.. Conclusion: Can be recommended without hesitation under the restrictions mentioned, price-performance unbeatable.

Probably the worst restaurant in Hamburg! It's super tight there and we sat squeezed in next to other couples and had to wait a really long time to order because we were probably forgotten and the salad was also missing. The service is so subpar that we would like to give 0 stars. The “minced steak” was simply a disgusting frozen meatball that was far too fried and we didn’t even have 10 fries on our plate as a side dish. I also had a hair in my fries... In the end they said that you can only pay in cash or by credit card. It's a shame that this wasn't communicated beforehand. Our cash wasn't enough for a tip and even if it had been, we would never have given anything for this service. In the end we should have gotten 10 cents back, but the waitress didn't have any change so we told her she could keep the 10 cents. The eyes were then rolled sharply. While I was still talking to her, she simply turned around and said goodbye to us without a sound and with an extremely annoyed attitude...

How this restautant sets its prices is a mystery. Incredibly cheap compared to other steakhouses. And the quality is very good, a block house can't be better. The drinks prices are also absolutely low, it must be the masses here. Despite the store being full, the service is friendly and quick. The restaurant is very winding and has very tight seating, so every centimeter is used. The candle lighting also takes a bit of getting used to, but it's okay. The furnishings are getting a bit old and there aren't really any decorative highlights, but at that rate... you can't get cheaper steak food in Hamburg.

Regular place for steaks - an authority in Hamburg. The brown Sambucca or the dessert in the pineapple are also great.

I recently dined at Arizona Steak House and enjoyed the delicious taste of their food. The steaks were perfectly cooked, and the flavors were rich and satisfying. However, the indoor dining experience was less than ideal due to the lack of air conditioning. In the sweltering summer heat, the restaurant felt uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to fully enjoy the meal. While the food was impressive, improving the indoor climate control would significantly enhance the overall dining experience.

Completely haphazard despite a reservation. The service was friendly but increasingly stressed. Even though there were 6 people, you were squeezed into strange tables... the relaxed atmosphere was different. You should also tell the guests in advance that you can only pay with a credit card or cash. Nowhere is there any notice excellent. Otherwise, the quality of the food was surprisingly good, despite the cheap prices. It's probably because of the amount they sell. It was ok for a visit, I'd rather go somewhere else where you get more ambience and quality.

Price performance absolutely bombastic

1A steakhouse, if you want steaks, this is the place for you. We both had a steak, once a 200g. Beef rump steak with baked potatoes and roasted bread, I a 300 g beef rump steak with the same side dishes. 3 different steak sauces and steak pepper were added straight away. Everything tasted delicious, the service was extremely friendly and the whole steakhouse atmosphere fits in wonderfully. Unbeatable value for money, I can only warmly recommend it! We'll be back 😉👍
