Extremely affordable steak restaurant. I've never eaten steak so cheaply; it was almost surreally cheap. The food tasted very good, and the selection was extensive! The presentation of the dishes and the ambiance could be improved, but the value for money is absolutely unbeatable! I would definitely come back here!

We made a reservation in advance. We arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled time to find a huge line outside the restaurant. Surely they didn't make a reservation and were hoping to snag a table? Wrong. Everyone seemed to have a reservation. The restaurant was completely overbooked. After waiting outside for 45 minutes, we were finally invited in. The three of us were given a table for 1-2 people. We were then placed next to another group to create even more space in the cramped and completely darkened restaurant. The chairs, by the way, were uncomfortable folding chairs. It was incredibly loud, and the service staff was overwhelmed. No wonder, with so many guests in such a small space. The menu is relatively inexpensive. The food is okay. However, I would rather pay €10 more per person in a pleasant atmosphere with trained and friendly staff. When we told the owner on the way out that we were dissatisfied, he became violent and loud. We heard from other guests that this is apparently how things always go here.

Everything was great – the food, atmosphere and service at the table were top. Unfortunately there was a problem at the entrance. The employee should have paid more attention to who got there first. There were four of us and we were only allowed in after two larger groups of 7-9 people and several others, even though we were there much earlier. A few days before we asked if it was possible to make a reservation and were told that wasn't possible - just show up. It was all the more annoying when guests who thought they had reserved were let in before us. That was disappointing. Otherwise it was a nice visit.

Best Steakhouse in Hamburg. Period. High quality at affordable prices. There is waiting time at entrance because you can't really book. But it worth's the time you wait. My recommendation are the 2 filets. I am eating here regularly once a month. :)

My entrecote was torn apart. That's not a steak. Complaints were not possible. I didn't want to leave a tip (see my steak) but the waitress asked what I should enter. Then gave a 10% tip and neither a thank you nor a goodbye. My colleague's steak looked good, but he had sirloin steak. Second chances still come.

I can understand if some people criticize the service or the ambience. But given the prices you have to give 5 stars. I think you get the steak with the best P/L ratio in all of Germany here!

Was here for the 2nd time now. Despite a reservation, we waited in line for almost 30 minutes. The crowd has changed a lot since my last visit 3 years ago. Now over half of the guests were there with gym bags and coming from the gym. The steaks are cheap and the incredibly good quality back then had also disappeared. The charm is gone, the quality has suffered, the service was impersonal and too jostling due to the many guests. Unfortunately, it is very likely that there will not be a third visit. Good luck!

We spontaneously had something to eat here and what can I say, everything was extremely good! I had the salmon steak and it was great! Portions are really big too! Unbeatable for the price!

Ok, if you want to quickly eat a piece of meat of acceptable quality and at an attractive price in a not particularly special atmosphere, this is not the place for you. But the price-performance ratio is absolutely okay.

You have to like it. Price-performance is top. But you sit super tight and the guests are “flowed through”. We were asked twice if we could leave now because there were so many guests waiting outside (just after dinner). Still 4 stars because the food was great.

We ordered a bottle of sparkling water and were shocked to find that this water had already been served at the neighboring table. The glasses were not exchanged. At the same time as the drinks we ordered the food. An hour passed before it was noticed that the food order never reached the kitchen. It didn't take long for the food to arrive for the first time, but the meat was still so raw that we asked to grill it again (we had ordered medium), the meat was still far from medium, so we asked to put it on the grill again. The waiter then replied “that’s what medium is for us, it’s not like blockhouse”, the third time the meat was good and it was even very tender. The croquettes were good too. Now we wanted to pay, all separately. One bill was €20.10 and was supposed to be paid in cash. When we looked for the 10 cents, the waiter said “that's fine” and turned around and left without saying goodbye, as if that had made up for the terrible service.

A visit I would like to forget. Even the start was disappointing: We stood around for 10 minutes without anyone being interested in us - no welcome, no notice, just ignored. When we finally got a seat, it was right on the aisle, squeezed between other tables that were so close that you couldn't help but overhear every conversation. Privacy? None. The entire atmosphere was a disaster: cramped, loud, hectic. The light flickered annoyingly and occasionally went out completely - as if you were sitting in a storage room. Music was either non-existent or suddenly so loud that you had to shout at each other. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed and chaotic. Instead of pleasant service, you got loud shouts and confusion - definitely not a relaxed atmosphere. And the food? Simply bad for a steak restaurant. The meat was tough, barely seasoned, and the side dishes were slapped on carelessly. Overall, an absolutely disappointing visit. Never again.

I love this place. Very cost and the service is great.

Food was good, ambience was okay too. We got a seat near the kitchen hatch. It was a bit noisy and you shouldn't look too closely at the cooks.

I was there for the first time today and I am very disappointed. I asked the waitress for ketchup and she told me that ketchup ran out at lunchtime, very unprofessional. Fries and bread were cold and dry. The meat was somewhat OK. The Cola was a complete disaster, even McDonald's Cola tastes better. Not recommended, I would have just gone to Block House like I always do!!!!

We booked a table for 7:30 p.m. and left at 8:00 p.m. Absolutely outrageous.

Wonderful...! I really shouldn't write a review, as too many people would then get to know this place with its incredible value for money, but I just have to.

Unfortunately my visit was a big disappointment. The toilets were flooded and unusable, and the stairwell had an unpleasant smell. The meat was inedible and the spinach was difficult to identify. There was even a power outage during the meal, which further worsened the situation. Communication with staff was difficult and the only option was to pay by credit card - very inconvenient. Tipping was also mandatory, which I found to be inappropriate. What was particularly negative was that the chef was on the phone while preparing the meal. The narrow corridors also often led to unpleasant moments. Overall, a disappointing experience that I cannot recommend 😡

Very bad experience! a waitress, Neglected throughout the whole process (I tried to find someone several times but no one paid attention), forced tipping (reasons for not tipping: ordered too many drinks, had a bad attitude and couldn't find anyone when I needed service, waited for too long, decided directly without asking for opinions at checkout, and blamed the guest for not telling us), and finally told us not to go there in the future and would not serve us again. Delicious & Rustic Affordable - Juicy & Delicious Had a lovely 300g entrecóte with a delicious baked potato and garlic bread. Friendly service, and the food arrived within 10 minutes. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience. I'll be back!

We only heard good things and were really looking forward to the evening! Very easy to reach by public transport! Unfortunately, we must have had a bad day...We had reserved, which the lady at the entrance didn't really care about. Then why can you even make a reservation there??? Candles on, lights off, I've never eaten in a restaurant so dark! Music is way too loud, just a little quieter for a moment. Conversations were hardly possible! The food, requested medium: 1x almost raw, 1x very bloody, 1x very tough, 1x good, but served in the wrong way. Condition of the premises: Not the newest, but okay. The prices are incredibly cheap. We would have gladly paid more to eat with light! Paying: Cash or card was asked, we said with card. The bill came and the debit card wasn't taken, they only take credit cards! There were definitely too many negative things for one visit! What a shame! We were very disappointed!

This place is a disgrace. Despite having a reservation for four people and arriving on time, we had to wait outside and were then asked if we were sharing a table with strangers?! There was no service. We were asked to order drinks before we were given a menu. Our order was checked and brought at some point. One order was incorrect, which the waitress ignored. "No, that's right," was the reply. At 6:45 p.m., the lights were turned off and the music turned up full blast. When we asked to turn the lights on, they simply said they'd been doing it that way for 40 years. The restroom is completely filthy and can't be locked. The food is carelessly "prepared." The baked potato is cold and so tasteless it must have been yesterday's at least. The garlic bread is an old baguette dripping in grease. Payment can only be made by credit card or cash. The restaurant was so dark that the waitress gave us incorrect change. Never again. Not even if I was paid to eat there.

Disaster! The usher didn't care about reservations, we had to wait unless we sat down at a table with strangers. We didn't want to wait because of a family celebration. Then, without even getting a card, we ordered drinks. After we finally got a menu and ordered food, the order was delivered incorrectly (ribeye instead of entrecôte) and my objection was dismissed with "It's the same thing". Which is not true. The side dishes tasted like they were from the day before and were almost cold, the meat was okay, at least for the price. Then the lights went out and the music was turned up loud, and it stayed that way. Then we had to fight to be allowed to pay. I was asked for cash or card and wanted card. After 10 more minutes he comes back and says he only takes credit card. Now I was finally pissed off and didn't tip anymore. The owner quickly came after us and wanted to know what was wrong, but then dismissed our points and said it was basically our fault... Never again.

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews here. The prices are actually unbeatable but the quality of the meat is also really not edible. The service was really incredibly unfriendly :( But the vibe in the whole restaurant wasn't very warm or inviting either.

It's crowded and loud but we didn't mind, it's part of the atmosphere of this restaurant. The food is great and yet a sensational price in Hamburg. The boss personally welcomes the guests at the door, where a queue sometimes forms. When you order a 1/2 pineapple with sparklers, Lambada and the boss come over with wooden spoons beating to the beat. Despite the full restaurant, the service is always ready for new things, always friendly and charming. The food came quickly and tasty. Definitely recommended, will try the super cheap lunch menu soon. Please be sure to reserve!!!!!!

The steaks are so good there and the atmosphere is so cool. The service was a bit slow at times and our drinks felt like they took forever. But the steak exceeded all my expectations. All in all, a very good shop.

Lovely good food at a fair price

Despite a reservation, there was at least a 30min-1h waiting time, the restaurant was super loud, stuffy and warm. The waiters were super stressed and rude. The shrimp were super chewy and rubbery, not good at all!! The steak was completely over-cooked and medium rare became medium well. I would definitely not recommend it.

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant yesterday. After half an hour we left the restaurant because the service was completely unacceptable. As soon as we arrived, we noticed how unfriendly the waitress spoke to other guests - she had a high, irritable voice, which immediately left an unpleasant impression. We had reserved a table in advance for 5 people at 5pm. Two girls were there on time, the rest of the group was still on the way. When we entered, the waitress commented rudely: "Where is the rest? You can only stay here for an hour and a half." This information was not provided to us when we made the reservation. We looked at the menu and wanted to order something, but the lady rudely pointed out that we couldn't order until everyone was there. We then asked if we could perhaps order something to drink, which was met with another unfriendly answer: "Yes, right away." This entire attitude of the waitress was more than unpleasant and left us no choice but to leave the store. In addition, the table was far too small for 5 people, and folding chairs were added to it, which further worsened the overall impression. As we left, the waitress called out a mocking “Wonderful” after us – which for us was the icing on the cake of an overall very disappointing experience. Conclusion: Unfriendly service, no space and an atmosphere that makes any culinary enjoyment impossible. We definitely won't visit this restaurant again.

Disappointing experience - never again! I was lured by the cheap prices, but that was a big mistake. As soon as I entered, I noticed how old and worn the furnishings are - everything looks like it hasn't been renovated in decades. The space is extremely cramped, you're basically sitting right next to strangers, which is anything but pleasant. The worst thing, however, was the staff: unfriendly, annoyed and absolutely not service-oriented. You felt like you were being a nuisance instead of being welcome. The food was inexpensive, but we no longer had an appetite... Definitely not a recommendation!

Just one star, once and never again... We were there on March 8, 2025, we made reservations for four people. When we arrived there were already a number of people at the door. When we noticed the reservation at 5:30 p.m., the waitress complained that everyone had reserved and that it didn't matter. The sound makes the music... After a few minutes a table became available and after we asked we were seated. After 20 minutes the order was taken. Four people got three drinks, the last one got his cola shortly before the end of the meal, despite repeated requests. My starter hadn't been eaten yet when the main course arrived. The plate was handed to me and I then put my starter (calamaris) on my meat. The food itself was ok, the price is very cheap. In the meantime there was no demand for drinks. The blackheads' plates have already been picked up, although two people have still eaten. After everyone was finished the boss came to ask if we wanted to pay. When we said “we would order something else” the answer was “ice cream, or what?”. It was supposed to be a café, but it hasn't been offered for months. Overall I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. I will not be entering this steakhouse again, I felt so badly treated.

Highly recommended, These prices and this taste do not match at all. Normally each dish would cost at least €5-10 more. We should be all the more grateful that the operator offers such dishes at the prices. There is only one thing to complain about: without a reservation, at least nothing works in the evenings or on weekends. So reserve in advance and enjoy.

Great location and restaurant 👌

I was there last week with my daughter. We were thrilled. The food came super quickly, was delicious and unbeatably cheap. I even asked if the prices on the menu were still correct.

An interior renovation would be very good. Edit 7.3.24: now the lunch menu costs €9.70, yes, still inexpensive, but I think €2.20 increased in one fell swoop is a lot. The service sometimes seems a little stressed and unfortunately you notice that as a guest, hence only 4 stars. Apparently the “short” one after dinner no longer exists or has it been forgotten for the second time? It's a shame that things have gotten a little worse, I always enjoyed being here, but not so often anymore. That's a no go, I won't visit the store as often anymore. Edit 3.3.25, unfortunately no improvement, now the sauce was missing with the meal, but it was still not nice, spinach was lukewarm. It's a good restaurant, it was pretty full when we went, but the fact that the steak there seemed to have cured my intestinal infection, I have to say: The restaurant is chaotic but good, a spontaneous journey (without planning) from Cologne to Hamburg, and then driving back in a not fast vehicle, was worth it, even if not financially (even if the prices are very cheap)

A not so hidden gem in the middle of fancy Winterhude. We arrived here early in the evening on a Sunday. The place was absolutely packed. After a short wait we got a table near the entrance. The seating situation is not intimate. You can see that the plan is to offer seating to as many people as possible. Upon checking the menu the prices stand out. As many other reviews state, they seem to have fallen out of time. I don’t know when I last saw food so affordable in Hamburg. Due to the high number of customers the service is sometimes not as available, but generally, someone always shows up after a while. We each ordered a steak. They arrived fairly quickly and were awesome, especially considering the price. The steaks come with a fluffy baked potato and a piece of garlic bread. All components of the dish were good. Complementary chimichurri is served with it. There are other side dishes that you can order with the food. None will break the bank. There was a ton of people waiting outside when we left. Be sure to reserve a table or to arrive outside of the usual time.

We were there during the week in the evening with 4 people. Even with a reservation, you should expect some waiting time. The waitress was quite busy, but was nice and occasionally came to the table to take orders. The waiting time for drinks and food was very quick, considering the high number of occupied tables. The quality of the food was good, and the main thing here is the price-performance ratio. With starter salad, beef fillet with pepper cream sauce and a tiramisu for dessert, including a few beers, the total came to €35. You can probably only get that here in Hamburg.

It's a shame if you as a guest have to wait a long time before being spoken to. Table was reserved for 4 people. We were asked if 1.5 hours was enough to eat, if so then we should come along. We were placed. There was really nothing wrong with the food, it was super tasty and surprisingly cheap. Then it was cleared away even though not everyone was finished with their food. We were then asked to change tables if we wanted to stay longer. A second waiter came and asked us to change tables again because they wanted to discover our table for 5 people. I don't think that works at all. I've never been kicked out of a restaurant before, it really felt like that. It's a shame, otherwise I found the location really nice.

Unprofessional and chaotic never again! I made a reservation for 6 people at Arizona Steakhouse on February 20th. Since the owner hardly speaks German, I asked again whether the reservation was securely entered. His answer was: Yes, I wrote it down, I'm not stupid. Today I wanted to check again just to be sure and lo and behold: there was nothing in the book! No reservation, no entry, nothing. Despite my confirmation a week ago, our reservation simply disappeared. Absolutely unprofessional! How can you run a restaurant like this if you can't even manage simple reservations? And then an unfriendly, stroppy reaction, as if I was the one who did something wrong. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, especially in the catering industry. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant. If you make a reservation here, you better have a plan B or find another steakhouse straight away!

Quaint restaurant, the food yesterday was very tasty, the prices make the food taste even better :-), the service is also very good, nice, quick. I can recommend the fillet steak and the lamb fillet. Both very tasty.

Phew... That hasn't happened to me either... First the positive: Prices like 10 years ago, very quick service (estimated 10 service staff for a restaurant that isn't that big), quite good quality of meat. For the rest, just short keywords, because I (and my companions) are still in a kind of state of shock: Very small portions, prepared without "love", cleanliness, well, renovation overdue. Three quarters of an hour before the end of our "reservation slot" it was briefly announced that there would be more people at the table after us. From then on our table was redecorated/added every few minutes, so there was complete unrest. When “only” a tip of four euros was given when paying, things escalated. We left the restaurant under insults from our waitress...

Reservations are not taken seriously and are not noted despite a phone call and confirmation. You come as a group to celebrate a birthday and are simply dumped because all the tables are already full. No debt relief, nothing.

We had a very pleasant experience here. We walked in spontaneously on a Sunday noon, and were seated immediately. The place was not very busy. The lady taking care of us checked in multiple times to make sure everything was good, and it was. Service was prompt, the portions were good, the stake was prepared excellent. it tasted delicious. And the price. Whoever complains about the price hasn’t been to a restaurant in a while. These are prices like 10 years ago, literally. It is an absolute steal. Show me any place in a 20km radius where you can get a steak dinner including drink for under €20. Not possible, not even close. Atmosphere was also like from another time, it was a bit dark and could use a bit of a refresh. But I am not complaining, maybe it’s better that this place stays a bit under the radar. We will be back for sure.

Despite prior telephone confirmation, we were left out in the cold and simply ignored. No accommodation, no alternative – just bad service! From my experience and the many similar reviews online, the reservation management here seems to be a disaster. If you value reliability and respectful treatment of guests, you should look for another restaurant. Never again!

I always have a bad experience. The food is delicious but the service is TERRIBLE. I do not recommend going to this place, it is not worth your money. The times I was there, the waitress always forced us to give more tips or made us feel bad by talking to her colleagues about how we had not given enough tips according to their point of view. Being that the service had been terrible. People with no desire to work who treat customers badly.

An absolute insider tip for steak lovers! We were there with the whole family and the service was very friendly. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the food is simply fantastic. The steak was perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor. The side dishes were also fresh and delicious. If you want to enjoy good meat at a fair price, this is the right place for you. Steak were delicious and really great prices. €9.90 for a 180g steak, including potatoes and garlic bread. Soup for €2.90. The store is busy and cramped and lit a bit too dimly for my taste. BUT you can get good food without having to pay attention to the price and that in Hamburg. TOP. Attention: EC card payments are not possible. Cash or credit card only.

When I called today to make sure everything was in order, I was told that reservations for 2 people were not possible and that I should try to be there 1.5 hours earlier than agreed so that I might get the chance to get a table that I could use for 30 minutes. Hence 1 star

Isn’t this supposed to be an Argentinean restaurant? There wasn’t a single argentinean or well even spanish speaking person working there… very disappointing it kinda feels like cultural appropriation. The food was good i wont that that away but the service was AWFUL the people were so unnecessarily rude. There was also barely any space like they were just cramming everyone in. I get they get a lot of customers but its more worth it for the customer to have an enjoyable meal time than be uncomfortable the whole time.

Delicious food, but a bit too dark and loud The Arizona Steakhouse impresses with really good food and fast, attentive service. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the side dishes are also very tasty. However, the atmosphere in the evening is not quite optimal - it is quite dark in the restaurant and the loud music sometimes makes conversations difficult. So if you value a quiet environment, you should keep this in mind. Otherwise, a great, extremely inexpensive steakhouse that is worth a visit!

Price performance is top. However, the music was unbearably loud. The organization is a disaster. The waitress was super friendly and saved many people thanks to her manner.

I recently visited the restaurant and overall I was very satisfied. The food was extremely tasty and the selection left nothing to be desired. The service was quick and efficient, and drinks and food were served quickly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and exuded a lovely Argentinian charm. However, the seating was a bit uncomfortable as folding chairs were used, which spoiled the enjoyment somewhat. A small downer was that the service insisted that everything had to happen very quickly. It felt like you were being encouraged to eat faster and not linger too long. However, the value for money was excellent. Unfortunately, I had difficulty making contact by phone as I tried to reach someone several times throughout the day, but to no avail. Overall, it was a successful visit and I can recommend the restaurant despite some minor flaws.

I don't understand how a store can be so crowded. I was there on Friday evening and the next day, Saturday, I had to go to the hospital because I was sick the whole time.

Hey this restaurant is really tasty, juicy meat and soft fat croquettes so delicious. Waitress very nice, didn't understand but still flirted very nicely with my broken Spanish. A bit cramped and crowded but cuddling in my home is normal.

I can only recommend it to a limited extent. The food was very good and the prices are cheap. But it's all far too narrow and you're basically sitting with other guests left and right. This makes it far too loud for conversation. We won't go there again.

I was here for the first time today, my girlfriend for the fifth time. And what can I say? It was great! The service and serving were really quick, the prices were really humane and the quality of the food was excellent. It's quite narrow and some of the furniture has seen better days, but that's kind of what creates the ambience. Plus, even at 4 p.m. it was really busy. For me that's a good sign because they can't all be wrong. After all, the corner is not a tourist hotspot. In short: I was definitely not here for the last time.
