Long wait at the entrance despite a reservation. The service was a very negative surprise, characterized by a lack of freedom and disrespect towards other customers and us. After waiting for over an hour, including being moved twice, we had to leave. We cannot recommend this restaurant and will never eat there again. Top-notch for years, now a flop!

Where do I even begin…? With the terrible service, the cramped atmosphere, or the mediocre food? I've visited Arizona several times now and tried to give the steakhouse a fair chance, but I've been disappointed every single time. It starts with reservations that aren't honored, leaving you standing outside in the cold. This can drag on for anywhere from a few minutes to 45 minutes. On top of that, the waiters are unprofessional and incredibly arrogant, with a distinct lack of any sense of welcome. You could try to blame it on the restaurant being packed, but even on days when it was only a quarter full, the waiters were unfriendly and acted as if they just wanted to get through to you as quickly as possible. The last point is the food. It's not bad. But it's not a place I would recommend to anyone visiting Hamburg, or even living in Hamburg. However, to mention something positive—which is unfortunately the only positive thing to say—is the price. It's incredibly cheap, but it tastes accordingly. The meat has no flavor; as soon as I've finished chewing, the taste is gone. Nothing to marvel at, just rather disappointing.

I went to the Arizona Steakhouse with my wife and unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend it. You really have to experience it for yourself; otherwise, you'll think it's an exaggeration. While the prices are low, the atmosphere is more reminiscent of a dark, smoky bar than a steakhouse. The food arrived cold, half of it was missing, and I was even asked if I still wanted the missing pieces – even though they're a standard part of the dish. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed, stressed, and sometimes unfriendly. The cutlery was dirty, and you sit on basic camping chairs. And to be clear: the service and cleanliness at McDonald's are 10-star luxury by comparison. No joke – you feel much more comfortable there than here. The bottom line: unfriendly service, chaotic processes, cold and incomplete food, and an unpleasant atmosphere. It's cheap, yes – but even for that price, the quality is far too poor.

I've been going there for my steak for 35 years, and there were great times, great food, and great service. Unfortunately, those days are over. It starts with the fact that you can no longer eat there in peace in the evenings; the place is so crammed with people, simply overcrowded, loud, and the quality has suffered. It's just a money-making machine now, with waiting times of up to an hour, and then you're crammed in somewhere. The service used to be friendlier and, above all, more attentive. The last few times I've been there, I've had to send back a side dish up to twice, either burnt or too salty. The final straw was when I sent back a completely burnt side dish and received the same thing back, only with a lot more salt. When I ate it and realized what had happened, I almost threw up, and I couldn't get rid of the taste for a while. So, the rest of the meal was unenjoyable. Conclusion: when greed gets the better of you, quality suffers. What a shame, it used to be such a great steakhouse 😞

What on earth happened to the ARIZONA? Five years ago, it was a 7-star experience, but when we returned on December 2nd for the first time in many years, much of it was simply unbearable. First and foremost, the quality of the food was terrible: The steaks were definitely substandard. - The large ribeye was more than 40% fat and sinew. - The filet mignon was a poor-quality rump steak. 2.) The kitchen seems to only know how to cook rare or shoe leather. We ordered "well done." The first time, the steaks arrived rare, the second time they were shoe leather. The third attempt by the kitchen was again rare... On the positive side: The waitress responded quickly each time, so we were served three times. But three times it wasn't what we expected. So, the kitchen and the quality of the food were a complete failure, although the service staff was good. The ambiance: Far too dark, far too warm, far too cramped. Conclusion: NO LONGER RECOMMENDED... WHAT A SHAME

The ambiance is rustic, but that's partly because the lighting was dim, and fairy lights and candles created a cozy atmosphere, though the visibility wasn't great ;-) The decor is dated and everything is quite cramped.

A bit dated and slightly run-down. The pleasant smell upon entering is of garlic and grease, just as you'd imagine an old pub to be. Not unpleasant, but definitely a bit rancid. The dining room is dark, and everything looks a bit dated. The menu was so dirty I didn't even want to hold it. The service was quite friendly and attentive. The food is actually good! It's like stepping back in time; you mainly get meat and fish dishes, all in the style of the 80s—delicious, generous portions, and actually priced like something from the 80s! I'm just saying: portions of fries for €1.80. Haven't seen that in ages. So, it was a bit spooky, but also nice and tasty for a low price. I'll be back, if only for the nostalgia.

We had reserved a table for four people for 8:00 PM on November 15, 2025. When we arrived at the restaurant shortly before 8:00 PM, it felt like half the neighborhood was waiting outside, most of them also with reservations for the same or a similar time. Due to the cramped conditions inside and the large number of people waiting, we had to wait outside in the rain for about 20 minutes for our table. We were then squeezed into a table made up of two tables with three other guests – with absolutely no room to move around or any privacy. It was impossible to order properly from the server for several reasons. Firstly, the server couldn't reach our table properly because of the layout and had to take our orders over another table. Secondly, the music was so loud at that moment that neither the server could be heard, nor could she hear us properly. Instead of one soup, we received three, two of the steaks we ordered weren't cooked as requested, and we had to order the salads again because she hadn't heard us. We were supposed to tell her the dishes by their numbers, but even that took several repetitions before she understood. Since the side dishes didn't have numbers, we couldn't communicate our requests to her – so no side dishes at all… In general, the music was so loud at times that it was practically an extreme noise nuisance. After complaining several times (which was initially ignored), the music was briefly turned off, only to be turned back on again a moment later (sometimes even louder). Conversation, if possible at all, required shouting. We left the restaurant immediately after eating – a relaxed, enjoyable evening with friends was unfortunately impossible there. Our impression of the evening: The restaurant feels completely crammed with seating; the aisles are sometimes so narrow that two people can barely pass each other. The seating is extremely cramped – no room for jackets, bags, etc. They also seem to have no control over the table reservations; It seems like they're taking more reservations than they can actually accommodate—and then there's the walk-in traffic, which they apparently don't want to turn away. The seating arrangements seemed chaotic and haphazard. Most of the staff were extremely unfriendly and indifferent, appearing stressed, overwhelmed, and irritated (no wonder, given the cramped space, the noise, and the general confusion). When we tried to pay at the counter as we were leaving, a server rudely told us off for being in the way. It should be mentioned that the food was tasty, and the price-performance ratio was perfectly acceptable. However, based on the experience described, it unfortunately wasn't worth it—a real shame.

The food is still mediocre, but the prices are exactly the same as they were 15 years ago and haven't increased. It's astonishing how the staff manages the crowds. The noise level is bordering on assault. Conversation is very difficult. I would have preferred if the prices had been adjusted somewhat. At least the yellowed nicotine walls don't smell anymore and the old, dusty furs have been taken down.

There were several people waiting outside, all of whom had reservations for 8 pm. I find it outrageous that they offer so many reservations but have no space! I don't usually write reviews, but: If you're looking for the worst service ever, this is definitely the place!! Incredibly rude and chaotic service. It doesn't matter if you have a reservation or not; people who arrived 10 minutes earlier were simply waved in, even though my girlfriend and I, along with at least 15 other people who also had reservations, waited outside for an hour. The waiter comes out, calls out a random number of people, and those who push to the front, stand right at the entrance, and shout the loudest are simply waved in. The entire restaurant is packed to the rafters, and the music is playing pointlessly loud, like in a club. Quantity over quality here. The food was okay. But the value for money was excellent. I think they should simply enforce reservations more strictly and implement a queue system so that guests leaving the restaurant don't have to squeeze through crowds just because people can't get in otherwise.

Hi, we went to Arizona Steak House for the first time yesterday afternoon. The restaurant is small and has a somewhat labyrinthine layout. It always seems to be busy, but luckily we only had to wait outside for about 10 minutes before we were seated at a table for three. We sat near the open kitchen. The kitchen staff didn't seem stressed, even though they were very busy. Their work appeared professional and efficient. In my opinion, the food was prepared cleanly. Despite the restaurant being full and a constant stream of new customers, the service was very friendly, efficient, and relaxed. The steaks, the baked potatoes (with and without shrimp), the vegetable platter, the tiramisu, and the ice cream were all delicious. What I always appreciate is when the vegetables still have a bit of crunch, and they did. Just a tiny suggestion: 1. It would be nice to space the tables a few centimeters further apart so that people with disabilities don't have to disturb the people at the next table when sitting down or getting up from the bench. 2. It would be nice to have seating outside the entrance, especially for people with health issues. This would make the wait more comfortable. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely come again.

I used to come here once a week, but today was my last visit to Arizona. It's long since ceased to be a "hidden gem," and now it's not even a good restaurant anymore. The service and food have deteriorated significantly. The only thing that remains good is the low prices. Today, we waited outside for 30-45 minutes before being seated at a table. It was then cluttered with the plates, glasses, and leftover food of the previous diners for at least another 15 minutes. Finally, we were allowed to order, and the drinks arrived quickly. We weren't asked how we wanted our steak cooked. Initially, I had a positive impression because I thought that since we come here so often and always order the same thing, they would have recognized us and remembered our preferences. While we waited a full 80 minutes for our steak, neither a waiter nor a waitress came by once to ask if we wanted anything else to drink. Not even until the very end of our visit. With such an incredibly long wait, our glasses were, of course, empty long before we received our food. On the contrary, the waitress dropped a plate, and the shards were scattered everywhere in the entrance area and even under our table. No one cleaned up the broken glass until about 20 minutes later when the waiter finally removed the largest pieces. Even then, everything was still littered with shards. Meanwhile, the waitress was taking pictures of her fingernails and on her phone. When the food finally arrived, the steak was completely overcooked. I usually eat it rare. The waiter clearly didn't know what he was doing; he simply didn't ask because he didn't care. But I didn't want to wait another 80 minutes, so I ate it. I asked the waitress for chimichurri since we hadn't received any. She said no, they didn't have it today. Shortly after we arrived, the waiter served chimichurri to the next table. 50 euros for a huge waste of time, terrible service, and no good food—for two people. I'll definitely be going to a different steakhouse in the future. Thank you for all the wonderful years, it was a pleasure!

The decor is also showing its age, and the new folding garden chairs seem like a makeshift solution. Pro tip: It's usually emptier at lunchtime (I was even there on a holiday). It's wonderfully relaxed—your own table, friendly servers (who aren't stressed), and the same top-notch food nonetheless. You can never plan exactly when the rush will arrive; that's part of Arizona's charm. Conclusion: If you're looking for an uncompromisingly good steak and can overlook the wait and loud atmosphere, go there. I highly recommend it.

We've been to the Arizona many times, so we always make reservations. No problems so far. But now we arrived right on time for our booked appointment, and there was a crowd of about 20 people outside. When we told the waiter we had a reservation, he grinned at us and said, "You have a reservation? Good job." We were a bit confused and asked, to which he replied that the people outside also had reservations and we should wait outside... Incredibly arrogant behavior! We left immediately and will not be visiting this restaurant again. It's probably clear to everyone by now that "quantity over quality" prevails here. They also have no problem bringing us a 0.3-liter beer instead of a 0.4-liter because they supposedly ran out of glasses. The glass was a bit fuller, but still nowhere near a 0.4-liter. Instead of asking, they simply confront us with the fact. If you want to enjoy a leisurely meal, you shouldn't go here.

I wanted to reserve a table, but was told, "No, that's not necessary on Wednesday lunchtime." Hmm, we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table! The service was super fast and friendly (blonde young lady). The steak is delicious and the béarnaise sauce is truly divine!!! The fries are unfortunately cheap and, like the garlic bread, were served too early.

A celebration ruined by the staff's poor attitude. We wanted to celebrate our nephew's 16th birthday with a family dinner for 12 people. We made the reservation more than two weeks in advance to ensure a good experience. Unfortunately, the table we were assigned was too narrow. When we expressed our concern, the server responded with a rude and aggressive attitude, stating that if we didn't like it, we could leave. We are shocked and deeply disappointed by this treatment, especially on such a special occasion. We will not return and do not recommend it.

We ate at this restaurant and, unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, no one even bothered us – no greeting, no indication of a table, nothing. After we sat down ourselves, we had to wait forever before anyone even came to us. When the waitress finally arrived, she was very rude, and we felt like we were more of a nuisance than welcome. The whole experience was unpleasant, and the poor service made us lose interest in the food. It's a real shame – you just don't expect that anymore. We definitely won't be coming back and unfortunately, we can't recommend the restaurant.

Last Saturday, we went to a restaurant to celebrate my nephew's 16th birthday. Eight days earlier, we had reserved a table for ten people. However, when we arrived, the table wasn't ready, and the waiter seated us at a table for eight. There were supposed to be twelve of us. My niece politely told the waiter that the table was too small and messy and asked if it would be possible to get a larger table, as two more people were coming. But this was the worst experience: The waiter, a tall and powerful man, banged on the table in a furious manner, came very close to my niece, and shouted at her: If she didn't like it, she could leave the restaurant immediately—they had many customers and didn't need us. At that point, only my two nieces were sitting at the table. When we arrived, it was very uncomfortable even to find a seat. The same waiter later brought the cutlery and rudely threw it on the table. We then decided to leave and not tolerate this mistreatment any longer. Unfortunately, there was no manager present for us to speak to. This experience completely ruined our day. My niece had an anxiety attack, and we weren't even offered a glass of water. It was horrible. We will never return to this restaurant and certainly won't recommend it to anyone. What a shame – they charge cheap prices but offer terrible service!

Entry to the restaurant was quite chaotic. Other guests were admitted before us, even though we had waited over 30 minutes. We were also moved to another table because a larger group was arriving – this shows that the reservation system is not well-organized. Our table was missing napkins. However, the server was very friendly, which was a positive. Unfortunately, the final price we had to pay was different from the originally stated price.

Once upon a time... a few years ago, it was an insider tip, but now, I'd almost say, it's degenerated into a profit-making den. Every inch is filled with tables and chairs. There's no ventilation. We wanted to move because, as has been mentioned several times here, the seating consisted of battered folding chairs. Back then, it was still possible to have a conversation with the owner and his family, who are employees; now, you need a safety rope to ask the second waiter who scurries past for ketchup. The music and the accompanying noise level are a disaster. The music is usually turned up to maximum for occasional reasons—my guess is the dessert with its show. The vegetables are overcooked, the focus is on the steak. It's still delicious and inexpensive, but unfortunately, that's not enough to overlook the rest. What a shame.

The staff were very unfriendly and unpleasant, aggressive towards customers. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I wanted to call to reserve a table, but no one answered. My son and I drove to the restaurant and asked for a table for two. The employee referred us to her colleague, who "should be here soon." There were plenty of free tables, but we had to wait. After ten minutes, her colleague still hadn't arrived, and we continued waiting. The other colleague got her food, sat down at the table next to us, where we were standing, and ate. After no one came, we left. It seems they don't want to make any money.

Great option for birthdays as they celebrate with a flamenco style music and bring you a huge pineapple 🍍 with ice-cream. With great attitude and service. When we asked, the waiter gave us a rude reply, and then we were aggressively accosted and shouted at. Other guests had to calm him down. There was loud and clear complaining, gossiping, and bad humor in front of and in the kitchen, even minutes after the guests had left. I had nothing to complain about, so we had no problems.
