The food is cheap and tastes good, now the big BUT(!) Today we reserved a table for 6 people at 8 p.m. There was a huge queue of people in front of the shop and they all reserved them. We talked to others, some of whom had been waiting for an hour. It was really a shame and the service was also impossible. We also left before a table was available. Never again!!!

The food was okay. But the restaurant was completely overcrowded. The music was way too loud most of the time and food was carried around the place with sparklers several times, which always gave off a bad smell. When you're eating, it's not very pleasant. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

TROTZ Reservierung 50 Minuten in der Kälte vor der Tür warten müssen. Das Essen ist lecker und der Preis ist super. Leider ist denen total egal ob man Reserviert hat oder nicht. Standen 10-15 Menschen vor der Tür die Reserviert hatten und nicht rein kamen. Nicht mal ein Eis aufs Haus für die lange Wartezeit oder so. Leider sehr enttäuschend.

The best price performance in all of Hamburg. Incredibly good steak at cheap prices. Had medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Ambience is ok, I find it a bit too cramped but that's a personal preference. Location is in the middle of Hamburg Winterhude. Absolute recommendation

Make sure you make a reservation, there are lots of service staff for different tasks, but you still forget to bring drinks and you wait a long time for service. The food is very tasty and the price is unbeatable 👍👍👍 Make sure you make a reservation, it's always very busy and people line up outside without a reservation in the hope of getting a seat. The seating is very cramped. Therefore a deduction for the ambience. The staff sometimes seem to be a bit overwhelmed by the rush, which is understandable. Sometimes the smile is missing, but no one has ever been unfriendly. Hats off to the performance of the staff both in service and in the kitchen 👍👍

An interior renovation would be very good. Edit 7.3.24: now the lunch menu costs €9.70, yes, still inexpensive, but I think €2.20 increased in one fell swoop is a lot. The service sometimes seems a little stressed and unfortunately you notice that as a guest, hence only 4 stars. Apparently the “short” one after a meal no longer exists or has it been forgotten for the second time? It's a shame that things have gotten a little worse, I always enjoyed being here, but not so often anymore. Edit 11/21/24 We left more or less involuntarily this evening with the words of a waitress: "You've already paid, there are still a lot of guests waiting outside." That's a no go, I won't visit the store as often anymore.

The first time and never again. The T-bone was tasteless and toe. The waitress herself admitted that the quality was poor, which made me wonder why it was offered. The prices are very cheap hence the poor quality. Eating under time pressure because the table reservations have come to an end. At some point the lights were turned off and there was only candlelight, which isn't that great and it's very loud and very narrow. Eating with five people and the fifth gets a folding chair. Unfortunately a very bad experience at the ARIZONA STEAKHOUSE.

Despite reservations, we had to wait outside in the cold for over 35 minutes with 26(!) other people. When it finally came, we were squeezed into a group table with a distance of 0cm, which we didn't accept. We then wanted to sit at a table for two, but the boss said that it was for three people. Later, the guests were squeezed into a folding chair at a table for two. Even our own employees encouraged us that the boss “probably always does it that way” and that they had already pointed it out to him several times. Later we heard him discussing exactly this topic with his employees... He tried to make everything good with champagne... Prices are of course good for today's times - but far too many tables are given away to make a profit... NOT RECOMMENDED!

An absolutely disappointing evening at the steakhouse We had reserved for three people, but then came as a group of two. My friend arrived about four minutes early and was seated at a table for two at the back of the empty restaurant. When I arrived, a young waitress greeted me and said I could choose any table, including a table for four, since everything was empty. So I sat down, only to realize after a few minutes that my friend and I had been seated separately at different tables - despite the clear indication of the same reservation. But ok, we just wanted to have a nice evening and that can happen. When my friend finally wanted to join me at the table for four, an older waitress told us in a very rude manner that the table was only for groups of three or more people. When I explained that we had previously been told we could sit here, she rudely interrupted me. She insisted that we had to sit at a cramped table or leave, even though the whole restaurant was empty. This tone continued during the ordering process: I ordered an extra baked potato, whereupon the waitress remarked in a snarky tone that there was already one with my main course. I emphasized that I still wanted an additional one. Shortly afterwards she brought us the wrong food and claimed that was exactly what we ordered. After some back and forth, our actual food finally arrived - but the fries were cold and dry, like they were from the day before. The highlight, however, was when she brought us the bill without asking, with a snarky comment that we didn't want it yet, but she would "provide" it. When we wanted to pay, she smiled mockingly and simply said that the bill was already on the table - as if that wasn't obvious. We weren't the only ones shocked by the service. Another couple who also wanted to sit at a table for four were just as abruptly told to move, even though there were only us and one other couple present. The two guests then understandably left the restaurant. Overall the evening was a disaster. The service was disrespectful, unfriendly and condescending. We had heard that the quality of the steakhouse had declined, but the way the service now treats the guests is simply unacceptable. If you want a cozy evening and good service, you should avoid this restaurant.

The only star is for the drinks, which were really good - everything else was subpar! Super cramped and hardly any space to even get to the table - you felt like you were sitting at the same table with your neighbors, so privacy was zero. We didn't have real chairs but folding garden chairs. It was so dark and more like a dark room. My food was okay but anything but lovingly prepared - my partner's minced steak was subpar - like it had been thawed from a cheap discount store. I absolutely cannot understand the rush to this restaurant - I wouldn't even come back for money!

I've had enough. A culinary highlight was the turkey schnitzel with butter rice and a dollop of spinach, the meat was bordering on too much salt. Paid just under €13 for a large glass of water and this lunch. The alternative would be steak with cream sauce, which would then be from Knorr from the bag and, according to the waiter, not bound. For allergy sufferers in extreme cases. It's not a recommendation.

Oktober besuchte ich gegen 16:30 Uhr zusammen mit meinem einjährigen Sohn und später auch meiner Freundin das Restaurant Arizona. Zuerst kam ich alleine mit meinem Sohn und einer Babyschale, die sich zum Kinderwagen umwandeln lässt – also kein großes Teil. Als ich den Barkeeper fragte, ob ich nach hinten gehen könne oder zu einem Tisch geführt werde, kam eine dunkelhaarige Kellnerin und wies mich aus der Ferne an, mich direkt an die Tür zu setzen. Ich erklärte, dass meine Freundin ebenfalls mit einem Baby kommen würde und es uns an der Tür zu kalt sei. Trotzdem beharrte sie darauf, dass es keine andere Option gäbe, weil wir eine Babyschale dabei hätten, obwohl das Restaurant an diesem Tag nicht sehr voll war und genügend andere Plätze frei waren. Später bat ich eine blonde Kellnerin um einen Hochstuhl für meinen Sohn. Zu meiner Überraschung sagte sie, es sei ihr zu schwer, den Hochstuhl zu uns zu bringen, obwohl das eigentlich Teil ihrer Aufgabe als Kellnerin wäre. Da ich mein Kind auf dem Arm hatte, war es für mich sehr unpraktisch, den Hochstuhl selbst zu holen. Meine Freundin brachte den Hochstuhl schließlich, als sie ankam, aber bis dahin musste mein Sohn auf meinem Schoß sitzen, weil keiner der Mitarbeiter bereit war zu helfen. Die blonde Kellnerin wirkte generell unzufrieden, weil die dunkelhaarige Kellnerin uns an den Tisch gesetzt hatte, was sie offensichtlich nicht in Ordnung fand. Sie sagte zum Barkeeper, dass wir besser hinten sitzen sollten, und äußerte, sie wolle uns nicht bedienen, weil wir vorne hingesetzt wurden. In diesem Moment wurde mir klar, dass es Spannungen unter den Mitarbeitern gab. Als meine Freundin ankam, fragte sie erneut, ob wir uns woanders hinsetzen könnten. Die blonde Kellnerin gab uns schließlich einen Platz an der Bar, wo wir uns wohler fühlten. Während wir auf unser Essen warteten, fiel uns auf, dass wir, obwohl das Restaurant nicht besonders voll war, lange auf unser Essen warten mussten. Als ich den Barkeeper fragte, wann unser Essen komme, erklärte er, dass es aufgrund eines Schichtwechsels etwas länger dauern könnte. Den Schichtwechsel selbst haben wir nicht wirklich mitbekommen, aber hinter der Bar konnte man deutlich hören, dass es Konflikte zwischen den Mitarbeitern gab. Obwohl wir die Mitarbeiter nicht sehen konnten, hörten wir sie lautstark diskutieren oder streiten, was eine sehr unangenehme Atmosphäre schuf. Unser Salat wurde gleichzeitig mit dem Hauptgericht serviert, obwohl wir ihn vorweg haben wollten. Es wirkte, als hätten wir die Spannungen im Team direkt abbekommen – die „dicke Luft“ unter den Mitarbeitern hat sich auch in der Qualität des Service widergespiegelt. Interessanterweise war, als wir das Restaurant verließen, der Schichtwechsel gerade vollzogen, und in diesem Moment hörte man keine Diskussionen oder Spannungen mehr zwischen den Mitarbeitern. Die vorherigen Konflikte schienen sich beruhigt zu haben. Der Hochstuhl wurde mir ebenfalls nicht gebracht, obwohl ich ausdrücklich darum gebeten hatte. Es wirkte, als wären die Mitarbeiter zu sehr mit ihren internen Problemen beschäftigt, um sich um die Gäste zu kümmern. Das Essen im Arizona war wie immer hervorragend, dafür gebe ich 5 Sterne. Aber der Service war an diesem Tag enttäuschend, weshalb ich nur 1 Stern vergebe. Zum Schluss zeigte sich die blonde Kellnerin zwar freundlicher, aber insgesamt war der Service mangelhaft. Lieber Chef vom Arizona, ich schätze Ihr Restaurant sehr, doch es wäre wichtig, auf die Stimmung und Zusammenarbeit unter Ihren Mitarbeitern zu achten, damit solche internen Konflikte nicht auf den Service und das Gasterlebnis abfärben.

We had reserved a table for 5 people after we had to wait longer despite having a reservation. The service person became very unfriendly when we pointed out that we had made a reservation. Other guests then preferred to take it ahead of us. After what felt like an eternity of asking, we were invited in. Five of us were seated at a small table that was intended for four. We asked the waitress for a chair so we didn't squeeze in there. The food was great for the price, nothing can be said about it. The plates also came to the table really quickly. We simply ignored the fact that a side dish was missing and enjoyed our meal. In the meantime someone came and really wanted to open the window behind us and did the rest. My companion was eating and hit her head when she opened the window because she had to duck her head. When it came to paying, we wanted to do so with a card; we actually thought it would have been appropriate to point out that only credit card was possible. Unfortunately, we didn't find such a clue, and we also found the waiting and asking how much she should "collect" very strange. As if you were obliged to give a tip. When we decided to pay in cash and we dug out our cash to pay her, the waitress first held out her hand to my companion for the tip and then to me. I have never seen such behavior in a restaurant. I would never come back because of the service alone.

I've been there several times and now had a terrible visit there! In addition to the disorganized "reception" (waiting for more than 30 minutes and letting people through from the back of the line without a reservation because there were 4 of them and we were "only" 3, even though they also got to a table for 4 like us), there was the service was absolutely unprofessional and the food was unfortunately bad. When our drinks came, the assistant waiter spilled the entire glass of coke on me and my clothes WITHOUT apologizing. Only after our actual waitress came and I pointed out the behavior did the other waiter come and simply say sorry again (when did you apologize before?!). When our steaks arrived, all three were still RAW in the middle. The side dishes that we had already placed on the plates were thrown away and we didn't get anything new either!! The meat was put on the grill again, it was then perhaps medium rare, but the outside was completely burnt due to the double grilling!! Like eating a roast. That wasn't enough: in our green dip there was a piece of PLASTIC (from the packaging, I assume) that my companion had in his mouth and almost choked on it!!!! After all that, we were offered NOTHING on the house, no dessert, no discount or anything else. The waitress was waiting with the card machine in her hand to ask what amount she should type in (she wanted a tip) and I just looked at her questioningly. She got snippy and typed in the bill amount. I then told her that it wasn't all her fault, but that... she interrupted me... (I wanted to say that we as customers weren't shown a bit of appreciation by offering something.) She then said with a snap: "Yes, yes, but of course I feel it" and walked away. This is so unprofessional. Incredible. How can you expect tips? For what? I'm never coming back.

I left impatiently twice. It wasn't because there wasn't a free table for one person - there were four free tables for two people, it was because there wasn't enough staff (two people serving the entire restaurant) to accommodate guests at the tables bring. I find the behavior not only inconsiderate towards the staff but also towards the guests who have to wait outside in the cold even though there are enough seats available.

Excellent cuts of meat at an unbeatable price and super fast service. Highly recommended. They should only improve on the issue of reservations and entry to the restaurant.

As always, the food was delicious for an unbeatable price. However, it was incredibly cramped and indiscreet because of the countless tables packed close together. I hope this is just an exception. Update January 2022: Food is still top with unbeatable prices. Corona hygiene concept well implemented. However, the 2G+ corona requirements are only monitored incompletely Update 2024:. Unfortunately I can no longer agree with the good reviews. In order to maintain the still unbeatable prices, other compromises have to be accepted. Somehow logical too. Every back space, no matter how dark, is used. Candles are used in the separate room. Terrible, apparently to avoid recognizing what's on the plate. Not to mention the acoustics. The baked potato was a little mushy on the inside. Won't be coming back. Too bad!

Delicious food (lomo de cordero and bife de costilla) and exactly how we wanted it. I had croquettes that could have been more but otherwise really tasty. The waiting time wasn't too long and we were well served. The prices are great too so I'll be back again.

The most important thing in the steakhouse was the steak (entrcote) which was excellent. Tender and the unmistakable nutty flavor of the beef from overseas was present. Not to mention the incredibly low price, simply unbelievable. When I come back to Hamburg, I'll go back to Arizona. Absolute recommendation!!!

Good food, the cooking points of the steaks were unfortunately not right for all 3 steaks, T-bone steaks were unfortunately riddled with sight and cartilage, but a new steak was offered by the service. Unfortunately there are huge slices of onions on the salads. Taste ok. Pepper sauce was simply a gravy, the pepper must have run its course. Otherwise everything tasted ok but nothing else really.

Is it possible that a lot of little people in Hamburg visit this restaurant??? I haven't been there yet, but I've found out more. The negative reviews about the ambience and the seating, the staff, that you can't go there with old people, that the toilets are on a floor below, that it should be more expensive and better, loud music like at the main train station (I I don't take the train often, but at which main station does loud music play) and everything around it, including bloody steaks (the blood stays in the slaughterhouse) can only come from such little cakes. Just go to another restaurant where you feel more comfortable and can pay "a little" more and don't complain about this concept.

The food was okay but the staff was so unbelievably unfriendly and when I paid they knew that I wanted to pay with my EC card then they said no EC payment was possible only cash or credit card then I paid in cash and saw that EC payment was possible . So I'll never eat there again, it's impossible

I'm very sorry but the service is very bad. I felt sick right before dinner and ended up not being able to eat any of the things I ordered. So I asked the waiter if I could take the food with me to eat at home later. Then he said - "I'll bring you something and you pack it yourself" Is that the way to treat your guests!? I could have left the food. Because I wasn't feeling well, I didn't want it to go to waste. If I have to pay extra to have it packed, no problem. But the treatment of the guest is bad. A little more friendliness would be appropriate.

So far we have eaten at this restaurant every month and have always been satisfied. Til today! Today was an experience that I have never experienced before. First of all, when we arrived, since we eat here often, we knew straight away what we wanted to order. We then asked the waitress that we would like to order. In an annoyed tone, the waitress said that we had just arrived... okay, that's just a matter of fact. Everything went normally until after dessert. As we were clearing away the waitress asked if we wanted anything else, we said no. Since we would like to sit together for a while, we stayed seated. Then the waitress came and asked if we could order anything else? Or whether we pay? All right, then we'll pay. We wanted to pay by card first and then give the tip as cash. The waitress arrived and put the receipt on the table with the question “how much?” asking what amount she should enter into the payment device. We found that very crazy. That the tip is expected straight away. Then the payment didn't work, you couldn't pay with EC. So then someone had to go and withdraw cash. When the payment process was canceled, the waitress threw the receipt on the table... unbelievable! The waitress came back with the wallet and placed it open on the table and asked: “My tip?” We then rounded up the amount we were supposed to pay because up to that point we really still had the tip money separately (really stupid of us). The waitress then loudly said “what??? So you only want to give 80 cents of advice? Normally you guess 10%”. She almost screamed at that moment so that everyone would hear it and it would be embarrassing for us. But not like that. That's why we ultimately didn't give any advice! Not in such a way! We have been here very often, but today was the first time we were served by this waitress. Before, we often had the colleague with the voluminous curls, a great waitress! We always left a big tip, at least 10%. But the waitress today is so rude and unacceptable! The food is really amazing and we will come back for the food. But we will continue to give no advice on this behavior!!!

Mega steak at incredible prices. No reservations possible. First come first served. Then you have to wait outside and are let in one by one. Staff is very friendly. Sometimes it takes a while for drinks to arrive, but that's the only criticism.

Hello, the food, as always TOP. The service was probably overwhelmed, even though the store wasn't completely full. The service was very nice, but made us wait about 20 minutes to order the dessert. We then ate ice cream on the cathedral, which was also very tasty. You feel more and more like a number, which is a shame. Despite this, they will see us again.
