We spontaneously discovered the shop for dinner, the steak was great. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Das Essen war hervorragend. Ich habe noch nie so einen leckeren Burger gegessen. Das Personal super freundlich, schnell und kompetent. Der Chef/Koch kam noch zum Tisch und hat sich erkundigt. Würde ich jederzeit weiterempfehlen. 5 Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 sehr gerne kommen wir beim nächsten Hamburg Besuch wieder❤️

If you have a lot of time you can recommend this restaurant. Drinks were served about 40 minutes after waiting 30 minutes and the food came after a relaxed 150 minutes. For all the skeptics, no it wasn't full.

Unfortunately due to a lack of staff, the service was attentive and friendly but, including the kitchen, overwhelmed. But when it comes to the screw in the food, it stops. Apparently you can't expect anything more than a flippant apology from the boss. Very unfortunate.

The table was reserved for 6:30 p.m. After more than 30 minutes the drink order was taken and more than half an hour later the drinks were brought. We waited almost two hours for the food. The staff was extremely overwhelmed and significantly understaffed. The dishes were taken incorrectly and so not everyone got what was ordered or side dishes were completely missing. Unfortunately the visit was a complete disaster!

30 minutes until the drinks came, and then another hour until the food was finally on the table. First and last time in this restaurant.

Food is OK but we only got drinks after 45 minutes since arriving and we've been here for over 2 hours and still no real food. (The restaurant is only half full) Even if there are few staff, you should find a solution, either a round of drinks on the house or save the outside area (if the weather is bad) and concentrate more on the inside area.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience there. We initially waited about 45 minutes for our drinks. After that we waited at least another 1.5 hours for our food. Then completely wrong burgers arrived. We had the Athens burger twice, which was supposed to have sheep's cheese and coleslaw on it. Instead, our burgers only had a simple slice of cheese. Another person in our group ordered the Londonburger, which was supposed to have a fried egg and bacon on it. Neither was present. When we discussed this, we received statements like "Oh, then the sheep's cheese was probably gone." In addition, the service staff touched our burgers without asking. We were then offered that, for example, sheep's cheese could be served later, which we accepted. In addition, we should be given a "round". Unfortunately, the sheep's cheese that was supposed to be served later didn't arrive. We then asked for the bill, whereupon we were made to wait another 45 minutes. When this came, we were offered another "round", which we declined because we didn't want to wait that long for it. When paying we asked for a discount. This was not granted to us. We were informed that we had rejected the round and supposedly also the sheep's cheese (which wasn't true). So we had to pay the entire price even though we got the wrong food and the food took an extremely long time. Also, we weren't really taken seriously by the person who served us.

So the list is long, dress warmly and be patient. Our drinks only came after an hour, the starter came a little later and beforehand we were asked almost 5 times whether the drinks were correct. Then comes the highlight of the evening, the food. Everything went wrong with the food, the right contents for the burgers were missing, we were offered whether we could get these contents separately and we agreed. So after eating everything in vain and being at the counter yourself, the icing came. An ungrateful, cheekily high bill, a poor excuse that the assistant cook would be missing and God knows what it looks like when the cook is missing. When we asked for accommodation with the bill, they just cheekily threatened to call the police and we left! Never again !

5 of us were there spontaneously. Didn't have much time and had our food in less than 20 minutes. tasted great Top staff

Cozy and well-kept atmosphere, good price/performance ratio. The dishes were lovingly prepared and extremely tasty. Another plus: not quite as touristy because it's not in the classic flight paths ;-)

Hello everyone I actually have to say that I have rarely eaten such a good steak as I did here. Absolutely beautiful and cozy atmosphere with top service. The cuisine is excellent, I take my hat off to you It was a pleasure eating here.

I'm always skeptical about steaks. Not everyone can do that. But really summed up excellently here. Very friendly and accommodating. Even the boss took care of us with a friendly conversation. Our requests for changes to the supplements were implemented without further ado. The fillet steak is highly recommended. Thank you for the hospitality.

A wonderful restaurant with excellent service and delicious food…

I had rump steak, I had fried potatoes and my wife had sweet potato fries. There's nothing wrong with it. Steak perfectly on point, sweet potato fries and the fried potatoes were perfect. Anyone who likes to eat well will pack an extra €10 and go to Big Bull in Hamburg.

Perfect portion, good price and cozy atmosphere

We both agreed this is by far the best rump steak we've had to date, mine was medium and partners medium/rare. Well worth its money. It beat a top UK restaurant we've eaten at, Staff were friendly although their English was limited it didn't cause any problems. We will return when we go back.

We had ordered a table for 4 people for March 2, 2024 at 6 p.m. We were greeted very friendly. There was a mixup when ordering, an apology was immediately sent. The food was great. We were very satisfied and would be happy to recommend this restaurant.

We were there on Saturday at 6 p.m. It was still very quiet at this point. After 7 p.m. it got busier and louder. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was great. Is highly recommended.

We ate here as a couple after seeing the musical The Lion King. We were warmly welcomed and given our booked table. The ambience is modern with classic bull heads on the wall, as is usual in a steakhouse. The tables are placed quite close together, so you're almost sitting on your neighbor's lap. The staff seemed quite overwhelmed, as the boss apparently took a trainee waiter by the hand, but he was friendly. The burger was ok, but could have been cooked a little more medium as it was quite cooked through. The fries were in the deep fryer a little too long. It was tasty, but wouldn't come here again because of the food. It was also quite loud and poorly ventilated. You can come and eat here, but there are definitely better alternatives in our home country.

The worst restaurant visit of my life. We were a group of six people, overall everything was bad that evening. We ordered quite quickly and waited 20 to 30 minutes for the drinks. After about 60 minutes we still had no food and were about to leave when it finally came (incorrectly). One person at our table received the wrong dish three times (first wrong side dishes, then wrong doneness, then wrong doneness again with wrong side dishes again). The right dish finally arrived when everyone else had already eaten. When the dish was repeatedly returned, the owner's wife responded unfriendly and accusatory. When the final complaint was made, the owner himself was unreasonable, a know-it-all and blamed his employees. Nobody wants to work anymore, everyone is lazy and everyone would rather collect unemployment benefits and he wouldn't be to blame. He would always do everything right and if he did everything alone, it would work. Then he should probably do that too. He went on for a long time about how good and holy he was and that he had cooked for the homeless during the pandemic, etc. etc. Nice, honorable, unfortunately absolutely irrelevant in this case. There were two rounds of drinks as an apology. He ruined this over the course of the evening through repeated absolutely inappropriate and outrageous behavior. Finally, he led our group in front of a regulars' table and explained that we just have to know how to enjoy food and if we don't do that, it's our own fault. A pity! There was just nothing going on that evening. The product was completely neglected, even though it could have been very good. But that's not the best way to enjoy the best piece of meat. Important: The employees can't do anything about it. The waitress at our table had her first day. This is absolutely excusable. He took longer but was friendly and accommodating and apologized several times. The fish stinks from the head. Addendum: For being called a steakhouse, the restaurant has a very limited selection of steaks.

Probably the worst restaurant visit ever! The store was half full and we had to wait 45 minutes to be able to order drinks - before that we were ignored despite repeated requests. We then ordered our food straight away, for which we had to wait 120 minutes! When the food was brought, we were told that a steak we had ordered was no longer there and therefore had not been prepared... mind you, the information came when the other steaks were brought to the table after 2 hours! At the same time, other guests also had massive problems with the wrong steaks and the wrong cooking level. The staff is apparently new and had to get the dishes spelled out... The quality of the steaks wasn't anything special either, rather a bit tasteless. We won't be coming back under any circumstances.

Absolutely underground, after 1 hour of waiting there wasn't even the starter at the table. Even at the neighboring tables the orders were wrong or suddenly no longer available. The service couldn't help it, the management team should restructure itself. Even for drinks we had to wait forever, we've had better service here before. Even if it's a Saturday, you should put what's on the menu on your plate.

Steak is a must when you visit, exactly as the name suggests

I wouldn't eat here again for the chicken, but I highly recommend the entrecôte.

Worst place. Ever! Do yourself a favor and don’t go there. No personel speak a word of english. It took 30 minutes to get a menu, and it took 50 minutes just to get drinks. When we finally ordered our food, the waiter repeated to us, what we ordered to make sure. When the food came, we didn’t get anything of what we ordered, but the waiter said, the rest would come (we just ordered fries and sauce). But our food never came. The meat was dry, the steak was soaked in blood and fluids, and didn’t rest. The potato was soaked in creme fraiche and was cold. When another waiter came after ‘we finished eating’, she asked if it was good, and we all said NO! And she just went silent and took our plates out. Overpriced place with horrible food and the worst service, we’ve ever experienced! Would’ve given it 0 stars if possible.

Ordered drinks twice, one was forgotten twice. 1 hour waiting time for the food when the tables are only half full is definitely too long. The food was a disaster, especially the steaks and in a steakhouse. The rest is also not very convincing or not at all convincing. Never again!

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier, nachdem wir das Restaurant bei unserem letzten Hamburg-Besuch eher zufällig gefunden haben. Das Essen ist ein Traum. Wir haben lange nicht mehr so zarte Steaks gegessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Bitte lest euch das bis zum Ende durch!! Ich warne euch nur :D Mein Freund und ich waren an Silvester dort essen. Das Ambiente war ganz okay. An Silvester wurden natürlich die Preise erhört, was erstmal okay war. Wo wir ankamen wurde unsere Bestellung schnell aufgenommen. Der Laden war gerade mal halb voll. Wir haben auf unser Getränk 45 Minuten gewartet, die dann noch warm waren und kein Eis enthalten haben. Darauf hin haben wir die Bedienung gefragt ob wir evtl etwas Eis für unser Getränk bekommen können, darauf mussten wir dann wieder 20 Minuten warten. Das Essen kam nach 1 1:15 Minuten. Es war total kalt und geschmacklos. Wo wir dann die Schnauze voll hatten und nur noch bezahlten wollten kam der Kellner 5 mal zu uns und meinte ein Moment noch. Nach ner halben Stunde kam dann endlich jemand und wir konnten bezahlen und gehen. Ob wir nochmal wieder kommen werden ? Ich denke nicht :)

Eines der besten Steaks die ich je genießen durfte. Definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Der Laden sieht von außen super aus ! Das wars dann auch leider schon. Haben über eine Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet und wir hatte nur einen einfachen Burger. Der Laden war einfach nur grundlos überfordert. Von der Bedienung, bis anscheinend zur Küche. Ich gehe öfter gut essen und habe ein Gefühl für gutes Fleisch. Der gesamte Burger war in Tankstellen Imbiss Qualität und die Bullete des Burgers hat nach Hackbraten geschmeckt. War der eventuell ein Tag vorher im Angebot ? Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben so viel Geld für so Geschmacksloses und unqualitatives Essen bezahlt. Also Ein wahrer Geheimtipp… wenn es mal so garnicht schmecken soll. Frohes Neues !

Leider war trotz guter Qualität des Essens der Abend dort nicht gut. Getränke kamen erst mit dem Essen, auf das sehr lange gewartet werden musste. An eine Entschuldigung von Seiten des Restaurants war nicht zu denken.

Das Essen war recht gut. Leider war der Service sehr überfordert und unorganisiert. In einem Steak House kann ich schon erwarten, dass der Service die verfügbaren Weine kennt. Mit sehr langen Wartezeiten sollte gerechnet werden.

Preisleistung ist angemessen. Es ist sauber und ordentlich geführt. Man muss nicht lange warten auf das Essen. Weiter so.!! Gruß B. Hellmann

Sehr netter und unkomplizierter Service. Aufmerksam und kompetent. Steaks und Filets auf dem Punkt und Beilagen super lecker.

Vorab das Menü war mega, das Steak auf den Punkt, nur in Punkt Service, na ja. Die Angestellte hatte die Ruhe weg, dafür sprang der glaube ich Sohn des Inhabers wie angestochen umher mit lautstarkem Ton Richtung Küche. Wir kommen zwar vom Dorfe, aber ich glaube es ist nicht normal wenn ich nach der Rechnung verlange und mir der Bon vorgelegt mit dem Kommentar die Kellnerin hat vergessen die 10 % Trinkgeld drauf zu buchen und wie wir das jetzt machen wollen. Der Mann sah mich verblüfft und kam kurz danach mit einer geänderten Rechnung incl. 10 % Trinkgeld. Somit 10,- mehr. Wir haben gezahlt und sind gegangen. Ich hätte sicherlich gerne ein Trinkgeld in einer ähnlichen Höhe gegeben nur nicht auf diesem Weg. Schade das mir der Besuch bis auf das Mega Steak in keiner guten Erinnerung bleibt

Der Service sehr hektisch, nimmt sich kaum Zeit für die Bestellungen. Leider haben wir dann 1std 30min auf das essen gewartet und eins kam noch später. Getränkebestellung nur auf Nachfrage und brauchten dann auch immer ca. 15min.. Beim Kassieren wird einfach eine Service Pauschale abkassiert, in dem Fall waren es bei 2 Leuten 3,50€ + Trinkgeld und bei den anderen nicht, auf Nachfrage kam nur, "warum nicht? Also soll ich das runter nehmen?" .. alles in allem Leider kein schöner Eindruck an dem Abend

Wir waren mit knapp 30 Leuten da, der Laden war komplett voll. Die Kellner hatten sichtlich Stress und sich auch nicht bemüht, dies zu verstecken. Vorspeise konnte 5 Minuten nach Bestellung der anderen Essen nicht mehr geordert werden. Aufmerksamkeit war Fehlanzeige, wenn man was wollte, musste man mehrfach nachfragen. Von den Wartezeiten brauchen wir nicht anfangen zu reden. 1,5h bis das Essen kam, eines wurde vergessen u nachgereicht. 2x waren die Beilagen falsch u einmal gab es scharfe anstelle von süßen Rippen. Der Cole Slaw war Alle, dafür gab es dann einen anderen Salat aber nicht bei jedem den Gleichen sondern auch unterschiedliche. Das Essen an sich war gut. Beim Bezahlen dann die Überraschung, dass selbst Trinkgeld auf die Rg. gebucht worden ist. Wer das nicht mitbekommt u dann noch aufrundet zahlt doppelt. Ob u wieviel der Gast Trinkgeld gibt, sollte man ihm schon selbst überlassen.

Lecker Steaks zu fairen Preisen und nicht so überfüllt wie manche Läden direkt im Zentrum. Dafür lohnt sich ein kleiner Spaziergang...

Super Steak, perfekt auf den Punkt, total nett. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Ich hatte mir das 300gramm Rumpsteak Medium bestellt. Es war sehr trocken und Blutig. Während des Essen kam eine Geburtstaggruppe mit dazu und man konnte sich zu zweit kaum noch unterhalten ohne sehr laut zu reden... . Kontakt mit dem Personal hatten wir nur zur Bestellung und als man uns das Essen brachte. Danach kam niemand mehr um zu fragen, ob wir noch was wollen. Z.B. saß ich fast 20min ohne ein Getränk da. Als wir fertig waren, wollten wir nur noch raus. Um Bezahlen zu können, haben wir vorerst Augenkontakt mit dem Personal gesucht, was aber nicht möglich war. Nach ca. 10Minuten bin ich zu einem Herren hingegangen und habe ihm gesagt, dass wir gerne bezahlen möchten. Dieser antwortet "ich komme gleich zu Ihnen" als nach 10Minuten er immernoch nicht kam, bin ich erneut zu ihm hingegangen und habe ihn erneut darauf angesprochen. Er sagte, dass er seiner Kollegin bescheid geben müsse, da sie unsere Bestellung aufgenommen hat. Nach weiteren 10Minuten habe ich mich dann auf die Suche nach der Dame gemacht und als ich sie gefunden hatte, sagte sie, dass sie gleich kommen würde. Nach etwas 5minuten erschien sie am Tisch. Da wir mit Karten zahlen wollten, mussten wir ihr an den "Schalter/Kasse" am Eingang folgen. Insgesamt waren wir ca. 2Stunden im Restaurant. Ca. 20min bis das Essen kam. Wir aßen ganz entspannt ca. 30minuten, wobei nach ungefähr 10Minuten eine große Gruppe kamen und diese dort einen Geburtstag feierten, was ja auch völlig in Ordnung ist. Nur leider wurde wir an einen Tisch gesetzt der direkt neben den Tischen waren und wie oben beschrieben, mussten wir laut sprechen, damit wir uns noch irgendwie unterhalten konnten. Letztendlich haben wir fast solange gewartet, um zu bezahlen, wie wir gegessen haben. Ein weiteres Mal, werde ich dieses Restaurant nicht besuchen und weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren spontan zu dritt hier. Das Essen war gut und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Interieur etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber scheinbar wird gerade etwas getan, wir haben Baugeräusche während des Essens vernommen.

Wir kamen aus Hannover angereist und wurden sehr herzlich von den Eigentümern empfangen. Sowohl das Essen als auch das Ambiente haben uns sehr gefallen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend und die Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen wieder!

Waren hier an einem Freitagabend. Die Burger waren okay. Der Service war mittelmäßig, einzig unser Sohn wurde vom Inhaber sehr bedacht mit süßem und netten Gesten, was uns natürlich auch sehr gefreut hat. Es wurde nicht gefragt ob es schmeckt oder ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit seh. Wir mussten dazu lange auf ein nach bestelltes Getränk warten. Der Laden war nicht voll besetzt als wir dort waren. Das geht doch etwas Gastfreundlicher.

Bester steakhaus in Hamburg kann ich jedem empfehlen das essen schmeckt einfach nur superbund der Service ist ein Traum alle super freundlich und bemüht uns zufrieden zu stellen. Daumen hoch. Liebe Grüße aus Hamburg
