Rodizio Steakhouse in Hamburg

The food was very good, but I have to say that the restaurant is not the cleanest. Everything is fine at eye level. But as soon as you look higher, the entire decoration is covered in centimeters of dust. It's not nice. 🙄👎

The restaurant is a bit old. Should be renovated. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't a burner either!

Dirty, cluttered, and low standards. Entering the restaurant, I was struck by the old attic smell clearly caused by the dusty environment. This caused me to sneeze a few times while inside the restaurant. Sitting down, I noticed crumbles on the seats, dust on every surface, dead flies in the window, and salt on the table from whomever was sitting there before (see pictures). They clearly don't wipe down tables before seating new guests. My fork looked like it had been laying on the floor of an antique shop for 5 years, so I asked for a new one. The waiter picked it up, looked at it like "what is he talking about" and said "eeeeh, no, it's normal". This was so absurd, me and by partner still has it as a joke whenever we go to a restaurant. Having seen Kitchen Nightmares, I felt like leaving on multiple occasions. I got really close when they served a salad appetiser and my partners' tomato looked a bit expired. I carefully inspected my food for potential hazards before trying and in all fairness it tasted fine. Soon after came the steak which I had ordered medium rare, but was clearly well done. Having gone through the whole "it's normal" ordeal, I decided it was better to eat up and get out. The disappointing stake was somewhat saved by the mushroom stew and vegetables, but it really says something when the sides are better then the steak. All said, I think the food and safety inspectors should have a visit to this place before they put someone in a hospital. Oh, and did I say? Avoid the restrooms if you don't want dead spiders hanging over your head.

The chef should practice setting up a beautiful plate again. Plates didn't look inviting. The sauce for my turkey steaks was cold before I even finished eating. The few small mushrooms in the sauce made me feel ripped off for the price.

Very rustic decor, but food and service really top and fast for this location on the Reeperbahn.

Wir wollten zu Abend essen. Das Essen war gut. Als wir bezahlen wollten,hieß es plötzlich nur Cash!Also Schwarzgeld. Dann wurden wir noch angemacht,dass Leute von Dänemark bekanntlich kein Trinkgeld geben. Ich bin Deutsche. Danke für nichts. Peinlich, peinlich....

The atmosphere is very dated. The service was very nice and you didn't have to wait long for your food. Unfortunately there were no pork steaks, only beef or turkey.

We're from Mannheim and were looking for somewhere to eat in Hamburg in the evening before our guide tour started. We had to ask the waiter if the food would be ready before our tour started. And thank God it was like that and the food was really tasty! The grill skewer was tender and medium rare. My vegetables were really tasty and tasty ♥️ The portion size was more than enough! I can really recommend it! We found the atmosphere very nice. Rustic, just as you would imagine a steak house to be. ♥️

The vegetable stir-fry with strips of beef had too much oil. But the main problem was the meat. It was just pieces full of tendons, not edible. I made the criticism politely and suggested we buy a nightcap for it. Nobody came…….

We got the table by the window. Next to us at the other table there were 15-20 dirty glasses, the placemats with stains and crumbs. We ordered turkey steak. First of all the salad, old with brown edges (the waiter said he doesn't eat salad but he should have seen it, especially the kitchen). The turkey steak was ok, the steakhouse bread was dry and hard. The waiter smelled strongly of alcohol. Of course there were no tips. The ambience is dark brown wood, 1960s, the formerly white walls are now quince yellow. There are also lots of dusty accessories and dead wild animals on the walls, once and not again

My family and I were at the EURO’s in June of 2024 and were fortunate to stumble upon this hidden little gem. The place was packed with fans after the game and even though we did not have much time, having to catch a train, the staff seated us immediately and took our order just as fast. We all had steak and the meat was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! The staff were absolutely amazing!

The food was good, it was enough. My husband had a T bone steak, which was also spot on. Unfortunately my beef skewer was too cooked. Service itself was very nice, but (despite the fact that everything was empty) there was hardly any sign of it, which meant we ate our food without drinking. Ambience very rustic, unfortunately it didn't smell pleasant during the day either.

Whenever we are in Hamburg, we eat there at least once. It tastes delicious every time. The prices are okay. The staff is nice. See you next time.

The ambience hasn't changed in the last five years. It's already pretty dusty. Fortunately, the food hasn't changed and the staff is still friendly.

Had a steak, well I've eaten better ones for €30. The beef frigadelle was a total failure, it was stretched with lots of rolls or something similar. You couldn't really define it. Baked potato tasted good. Never seen or eaten such a bad salad, old lettuce leaves, ham and strips of cheese cut way too thick. Service, well. I can't recommend it at all.

Every time I'm in HH I definitely have to visit this restaurant. The meat is prepared exactly as requested and it has always been that way. The service was extremely friendly. If you want to eat a good steak, I can only recommend this restaurant.

We stop here every time we visit the Reeperbahn, I think it was the last time this year. The quality decreases from year to year and the ambience is very outdated. I got the thick T-bone steak in two parts, the fries were dry and tasted like old oil. I removed the hair on the steak without comment. It's a shame, I've always looked forward to the steakhouse.

Eigentlich sollte es ein Geschäftsessen werden aber auf die Frage hin ob dieses Restaurant über einen Raucherbereich verfügt, wurde man als Kunde am Telefon ausgelacht und auf eine Pizzaria verwiesen. Der Kunde ist nichts mehr Wert!

Billige Block House Kopie. Personal eher bocklos. Die Gulaschsuppe "mit viel Fleisch" für € 8,90 hatte 5 Mini Stücke Fleisch drin, 2-3 Stücke Paprika und war sehr dünn, Abzocke vom Feinsten, eine Beschwerde wurde ignoriert. Der Fleischspies war aber preislich und qualitativ gut. Alkholfreies Bier kein Weizen auf der Karte, so entschied ich mich für ein großes Mineralwasser, keine Ahnung von welchem Hersteller, da ohne Flasche serviert und für € 6,20 das nächste Schnäppchen. Der Kiez in Hamburg ist halt ein Drecksloch, nicht mein Ding, selbst in den Restaurants wird man abgezogen. Geht besser in ein echtes Block House!!!

The facility is really getting old and has seen a lot. But if you don't let that bother you (I personally find it rustic) you will be rewarded. Had a sirloin steak with potato and was impressed. The steak is medium rare, very tender, you hardly have to bite it, the taste is very good. The potato was also great, I don't know what could be done better. The waiter was very nice, quick and friendly throughout. If I'm in Hamburg again I'll definitely come back here. From my side 6 🌟 stars!!!

Overall, unfortunately absolutely disappointed with the store. I've been to Rodizio in Dortmund several times and it's no comparison to the store in Hamburg. 3 steaks were ordered medium well and all arrived at us less than medium fried. All of the steaks had some tendons running through them, which in my opinion shouldn't happen in a rump steak in a steakhouse like Rodizio. Since there were 5 of us and we wanted to pay separately, we had to calculate our bill ourselves, which I'm not familiar with in a restaurant. Clearly not a recommendation.

We went to the Rodizio in Hamburg for the first time today because we love the Rodizio here. Unfortunately, you absolutely cannot compare the two restaurants. The shop is really getting old and looks shabby. When we came in, a musty smell hit our noses. The decoration consists of stuffed animals and the candles were made of glasses with aluminum foil 😃. It is eaten on a cloth that looks like a drying towel. Unfortunately, the food itself wasn't good at all, so I had to stop eating after 4 bites. The service left a lot to be desired. Conclusion: We will never visit this restaurant again

Yes, the atmosphere is getting old. The toilets were left in the 1960s, but the food was great and the service was great. We can't complain about the price/performance ratio.

A visually a bit outdated restaurant. The food was really tasty, but had nothing to do with what I understand by Rodizio. So don't expect someone to come to the table with skewers and other delicacies. It's more of a classic steakhouse. As I said, the food was really good. Unfortunately the rip eye steak is not worth €35. Very dry and you definitely have to chew a lot... What a shame.

The steak was ok, the baked potato was huge but unfortunately tasteless. The salad was loveless without asking what dressing was desired. The atmosphere is very old-fashioned, even the candle on the table was a tealight in a glass wrapped in aluminum foil. You actually don't want to stay there any longer.

Four of us recently went to Rodizio for the first time, the service was very good! One dish we ordered was accompanied by a salad, and we were then served four - "everyone needs vitamins in this weather!" The food was fantastic! The decoration of the shop takes some getting used to, but it shouldn't put you off under any circumstances, otherwise you'll miss something! Feel free to come again 👍

Die Gerichte sind lecker, der Service passt. Das Ambiente geht garnicht, die Sitze durchgessen, Staubig und alles nicht so sehr gepflegt.

Dort habe den ersten Abend meiner Reise hier meine Abend Snacks zu mir genommen . Nach teilig war leider der Eingangsbereich, der sehr viel Kälte hinein ließ.

Soll man da nochmal hin zum Essen oder nicht. Was unser Essen anging, war das Fleisch und die Beilagen wie gewünscht gebraten und auch schmackhaft. Die Getränke waren eher das Problem siehe Alkoholfreies Bier, er hat zwar noch 2 Flaschen gefunden, welche ich auch für mich beanspruchte, aber naja. Das Lokal sieht wirklich abgerockt aus und mal fühlt sich in die 70ziger Jahre versetzt, aber das ist dann doch wohl die Entscheidung des Inhabers hier was zu ändern. Kieznähe hin oder her. Das Lokal versucht auf Blockhouse zu machen, sollte es aber bleiben lassen. Einfaches Steakhaus mit 6-10 Gerichten auf einer Speisekarte die nicht aussieht wie ein Katalog wurde schon reichen. Die sanitären Anlagen hätten wirklich mal eine Renovierung verdient.

Wir haben über eine Stunde auf das Essen warten warten müssen, welches dann falsch ankam. Auch die Getränkebestellung war falsch an den Tisch gekommen. Das Essen war ok, das Ambiente hätte eine Renovierung oder einen Großputz gebraucht. Die Bedienung war ganz nett. Man muss dazu sagen, dass es wirklich sehr voll war

Lecker Steaks und gut gelaunte Kellner im Kietz Flair.

Wir waren drei Frauen ( 3 Generationen) und es hat geregnet wie in Strömen, nach 1 Stunde suchen wo wir essen können, nach dem Musical Besuch. War das Rodizio die einzigen die uns herzlich empfangen und Platz hatte. Der Kellner sehr höflich und bemüht. Weil unser Essen etwas gedauert hat,bekamen wir ein Salat aufs Haus. Das Essen war super und reichlich. Bei so viel Gastfreundschaft sind wir noch länger geblieben. Also wir können es nur empfehlen....

Bin hier reingekommen direkt lieb entfangen haben uns denn Tisch gezeigt und direkt auf köstlich schmöchtlich einen gratis Salat gegeben super laden

Essen war okay, Außenbereich typisch schlampig für diese Gegend. Toiletten riechen durch das gesamte Lokal. Würde da nicht wieder essen gehen.

Haben heute Vorort gegessen Service musste 3 mal nachfragen was wir bestellt haben. Salat mit gekauften Dressing, Champions aus der Dose und Soße breiartig würde es nicht weiterempfehlen

Hier hatten wir sehr kurtze Wartezeiten bis das Essen serviert wurde. Rumpsteak und Lam waren sehr zart und frisch, dem Koch Kompliment 👍, der Kellnerin war freundlich und sehr kompetent! Ich würde gerne wieder kommen, danke!

Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Restaurant. Das Essen, war leider zu salzig, oder nicht durch. Die Getränke gibt es nur ohne Kohlensäure. Das Personal ist leider sehr unfreundlich.

Das Fleisch war okay, deshalb 2 Sterne. Das Steakhaus müsste entkernt werden: Die Toiletten sind am Bahnhof "netter". Kellnerin und Laden schmuddelig. Salat komplett mit braunen Stellen.

In die Jahre gekommen, sollte mal geputzt werden. Mobiliar sehr verschlissen. Portionen klein, Rechnung hoch. Nie wieder.

The steak was actually ok but it hard to mess up a steak if cooked properly. This gets a 1 star because of the waitor and at this price point the service has to be excellent to justify the high prices. I'm afraid in this instance the service would be better if i was in prison and only had 1 meal a day. The prison guard would be friendlier and nicer than the waitor in this joint. Not only was he constantly rude to me and pretended he didn't speak english. Then he got angry with me at the end as he said i had to give him a tip and it got very weird when i told him he wasn't getting even 1 yaro as his service was awful. i find it funny that he didn't even try with me and then asked for a tip at the end. What a lol. If the boss is reading this i went there at 5pm on saturday 19th August so you know who he is as you have probably had similar complaints. I've never felt so uncomfortable in my life than when i went here. He was the most rude waitor i've ever met in my life. Waitors need to smile all the time and make client's feel at home in these gaffs. I was going to give it 2 stars but then they didn't offer any peppercorn sauce so it stays at 1. I will say the chilli sauce was good but i'm a chef and you should never serve chilli sauce with premium beef as it overloads your taste buds and they should be on the beef. While i'm looking at the positives the steak was actually ok but it doesn't help the stars as the decor in the place and overall standard of hygiene was poor which means they have very old lazy staff and no cleaners to look after the place and there will be lots of bugs and diseases over there. I'd like to inspect the kitchen as i bet this place would get closed down and only allowed to open back up when they get rid of all the bugs. So in summary, Hamburg is great but this restaurant is shockingly bad. And the next steps need to happen for me to come here again. 1. Give that waitor a 2 week training course on how to be nice to people and smile more 2. The kitchen needs to be tested for bugs 3. They need to improve the decor as it's over 30 years old and it's an insult to Argentinian steak and to Hamburg

Das Essen war mega lecker. Filetmedaillons mit Champignons mit Pommes u. Rumpsteak mit Ofenkartoffel, wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Ambiente war schön aber etwas dunkel.

Sehr netter Kellner, Essen wurde schnell gebracht. Ich hatte Putensteak mit Kräuterbutter, Ofenkartoffel mit Sour Creme, hausgemachtes Brot und Grillgemüse. Zum Nachtisch gab es Schokokuchen mit flüssigem Kern. Das Hauptgericht und auch das Dessert waren sehr gut. Der Kern vom Kuchen war zwar nicht flüssig aber trotzdem lecker. Wir waren nun zum zweiten mal dort und wenn wir wieder in Hamburg sind, werden wir auch zum dritten mal wiederkommen. 👍

Dit restaurant geeft een hele andere sfeer weer, dan je zou verwachten op de Reeperbahn. Gastvrij,gemoedelijk. Het eten was top! Lekker vers en goed vlees!

Jævnt kedeligt med en rødvin der smagte værre end billigste papvin. Sikker på det har haft store tider engang men de dage er slut. Brødet var tørt og bøffen kom med pomfritter og ikke yderligt. Bøffen var ok men savnede selskab i form af sovs mv. stedet tilbyder ikke børnemenu.

1 Stern nur wegen der Bedienung, welche sich offensichtlich der absolut miesen Qualität des Essens bewusst ist, Aber es mit Freundlichkeit versucht weg zu lächeln. Zum Essen: 19 euro für 4 ROHE stücke Fleisch in fertigsosse. dazu Dosen Champignons drauf geklatscht. Mir ist es rätselhaft wie man sowas mit gutem Gewissen rausgeben kann. Die Pommes haben trotz „salzmantel“ nur nach altem fettigem Fett/Öl geschmeckt. Hab sowas noch nie erlebt. Der Salat meiner Freundin war eine Mischung aus tüten Salat, rotkohl aus dem Glas und und fertig soße. Lieblos bedeckt mit groben, zerrupften Stücke von Discount köse und JA! Schinken. Absoluter Schmutz. Kein wunder wurden die meisten Teller von anderen Gästen voll zurück gegeben. Hab bisher noch nie irgendwelche Lokale bewertet, aber hier gilt ganz klar: fern bleiben!

War mit Freunden übers Wochenende in HH. Das Restaurant liegt im Herzen von da wo das Leben tobt. Die Steaks waren gut und auch sonst war eigentlich alles okay. Das Ambiente könnte mal ein Update gebrauchen ...

Sehr große Portionen Portion sehr billig und nettes Personal Salat als Vorspeise sehr lecker zubereitet

Zu 6 Personen haben wir das Rodizio Steakhaus am Hans Albers Platz besucht. Schon beim Eintritt fühlte ich mich in die Siebziger Jahre zurückversetzt, eine Renovierung ist sicher solange her. So sehen jedenfalls die mottenzerfressenen Tierpräparate hinten auf der Bar aus, wo man uns platzierte. Die Bedienung war nicht besonders freundlich, schnell bekamen wir die Karten. Der Salat wurde uns an den Tisch gebracht und bestand aus grob zerkleinertem Eisbergsalat, einem Stückchen Tomate, einem dicken Stück Gurke (siehe Foto) und einem Schnitz Paprika. Dazu ein Klecks Dressing. Selten habe ich einen solch lustlos hingerotzten Salat gesehen. Und so schmeckte er auch. Das Fleisch - wir hatten Entrecôte und Rumpsteak- war sehr gut gewürzt und auch erstaunlicherweise auf den Punkt gebraten. Die Ofenkartoffel war schon länger gar, deswegen arg trocken, aber die Sour cream war gut. Ebenso das Knoblauchbrot! Trotzdem würde ich wohl nicht mehr hingehen... die Toiletten waren eine reine Zumutung und unterstrichen den ganzen lieblosen Charme dieses abgerockten Restaurants, dass nur durch seine Lage und die Touristenmassen überleben dürfte.

Das Lokal ist zu empfehlen. Bezüglich der Fleischqualität und der Fleischzubereitung. Service ist in Ordnung Getränke kam zügig aber nachdem unsere Getränke leer waren wurde nicht ein weiteres Mal nachgefragt ob wir etwas Neues haben möchten. Der Salat der kostenlos vom Haus als Vorspeise gestellt wird ist eine Katastrophe aber kostenlos.
