Absolutely not recommended! Apple spritzer, just water. Spezi, barely carbonated. The food is all frozen. The sauces are ready-made. Some things were completely forgotten or came out wrong. The service at our table wasn't very pleasant either.

I simply wanted to use the restroom – instead, I was thrown out in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner, and even insulted. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Customer service definitely looks different. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place at all.

It's the first time I've writing a review, I didn't believe that this is how you treat a customer with his family, First, they do you a favor they coming to you, the waiter didn't have any patience, 50% of the food wasn't cooked, we got stuff that we didn't ask for, and the end was the worst the waiter try to roob me, he put more stuff in the bill and after I show him what we had he played like it was mistake and took some things off but still I paid more than I needed. All the best It's sad that in 2025 in a Western city you still take advantage of tourists

Nothing special, room for improvement. The waiter was friendly, but seemed a little overwhelmed. After I ordered my drink, he simply ran off without asking the rest of my family what they wanted. Strangely, everyone was able to pay with a card with the other waiter, but ours told everyone "no card payments today." The ketchup for our children was also forgotten several times. The quality of the food is okay, but definitely not better. First, I was brought the wrong beer, then the right one, BUT LUKEWARM, and the second beer wasn't any colder. Unfortunately, there are ashtrays at every table, so you might find yourself surrounded by neighbors' smoke while eating, as was the case with us. Nice view, but otherwise not so good; we didn't eat there again.

The waitress takes a very long time to order. We had turkey schnitzel with baked potatoes, sour cream, and garlic bread...no salad. We had to ask for the steak sauce. My husband had a Wiener schnitzel with fries. The fries looked crispy, but they were completely soggy. Once, never again.

Swindlers, con artists... The big street sign advertises kitchens, €4.90 each. The price on the table is already €6.90... If we had ordered, what would have been the right price? We didn't want to know, so we walked 200 meters to the bakery instead...

I rarely write bad reviews, but unfortunately, I have to make an exception. We ate at the Landungsbrücken today. The service was mediocre and the food, unfortunately, really bad. My boys both had the steak burger. The patty was quite good, but with a steak burger, you simply expect more than just a patty, a baked potato, and garlic bread. Especially since the baked potatoes in all three dishes were simply inedible. My "Fresh Plaice" was okay, but unfortunately, it arrived only lukewarm. When the waitress asked me, as usual, if everything was OK, my "it was okay" was simply accepted and they quickly removed us from our table. My husband then commented after he had paid, "They didn't invent friendliness either." Maybe we just picked a bad time, but our experience won't let us go back to this restaurant.

We ordered fish soup and fish I didn't like it.

We ate fish and schnitzel here today with a great view of the water. The fish was delicious, and the schnitzel was rather average.

The waiter was very unfriendly! With this food, I might as well defrost frozen food and slather it with Maggi sauce!!! I haven't eaten anything this bad in a long time!

We both had the salmon fillet with a baked potato and garlic bread. The salmon fillet was cooked to perfection, and the potatoes were also good and not dry. The bread could have used a bit more garlic for our taste. The service was also friendly. So, from us, it gets 4 stars. We would definitely go back and can't agree with some of the negative reviews.

Due to the temporarily nice weather, we stopped here for a bit, even though we had a bad experience here many years ago. In that case, we each drank two beers. The welcome was practically nonexistent. Both times, we received a different type of beer, both times with a decent underfill. In general, I noticed that all the drinks that were brought past our table were noticeably underfilled. We didn't eat anything here this time due to quality reasons. It's simply not recommended, and I certainly don't give it a bonus point for the location right on the water. We also noticed that the sign outside the restaurant listed a slice of apple pie as €4.90, but the menu inside the restaurant stated it was €6.90.

All drinks were underfilled. Up to 1 cm below the measuring line. Staff unfriendly. Cakes outside had a €4.90 price tag posted on the board. The menu in the restaurant says €6.90.

We recommend salmon with baked potato!

A beautiful restaurant with a great view, or so you'd think! As for the location, definitely: right on the piers with a fantastic view. But the service staff is just terrible. Unfriendly, rude, and not really interested in non-female guests. Waiting times were exorbitantly long, even though there were no more than nine other guests there. The food wasn't great either, but at least it filled us up. Therefore, even though it was expected and even accommodated, there was no tip. When I said I needed the bill, the fake friendliness was completely gone. Finally, we were told something like, "Don't forget to check if we haven't cheated you!" I couldn't think of anything else to say, so I just left. I've honestly never experienced anything so unfriendly.

Nice visit with good food, on the occasion of the harbor birthday. I can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience

Wir waren beim Hafengeburtstag und irgendwann bekommt man auch mal Hunger. Da war es, das Steak, Fisch &Schnitzelhaus. Ok, machen wir. Was im Nachhinein ein Fehler war. Der Typ der uns "Bediente" war mega unfreundlich, kein Hallo, die Karte wurde wortlos auf den Tisch gelegt. Und sofort wurde gefragt ob wir nachher bar oder mit Karte zahlen. Sowas fragt man nicht bevor man gegessen hat. ......Mit Karte sagten wir. Da war seine Laune wohl komplett im Keller. Unser Schnitzel war jetzt auch nicht grad ber Brüller. Das Fleisch war so dünn, daß ist zwischen der Parade gar nicht aufgefallen! Und frisch zubereitet war es auch nicht. TK Ware. Zum Schluss gab es nicht mal ein "tschüss" von dem und von uns auch kein Trinkgeld. Nicht zu empfehlen. Qualität und Kundenservice stimmen nicht.

Absolutely lousy service! The waiters should definitely be replaced. They are rude and lazy! You wait forever for the menu, even if you give notice, no one comes and you keep waiting. Last year it was just as bad. We will never eat or drink there again. The restaurant on the Reeperbahn is worlds better. Maybe. The lazy and unfriendly waiters should do some training with their colleagues in the neighborhood or change jobs altogether. We really can't recommend this restaurant on the Landungsbrücken to anyone and even advise against visiting it.

Had dinner there on Friday. Jägerschnitzel TK and the sauce almost porridge. There were a lot of bones in the salmon which made it very difficult to eat. In addition, the fish was completely dry. Better to eat somewhere else.

Matjes with fried potatoes: overall very fatty. Cheese schnitzel: probably finished products. In terms of taste, it's more on the lower limit. But the location of the restaurant is fantastic. Service was OK.

I had dinner here with my partner today. Unfortunately the schnitzel gratinated with cheese was very, very bad! It looked like vomit with cheese and tasted like rubber. Most likely just from the freezer. We weren't asked if it was tasty. My partner didn't eat anything. Although the “boss” of the house walked past us several times and we were obviously not happy, he showed no reaction. When our plates were cleared away and only then was we asked if it was tasty, we said no and said that it came from the freezer and tasted like rubber, and we also said that we didn't want to pay for it because it hadn't been eaten. The waiter, who was incapable of criticism, then became louder and blamed us for not saying anything. He didn't see anything and basically complained that we complained. The waiter confirmed that the schnitzel came from the freezer. As a hotel manager trained in an upscale restaurant, I have no understanding whatsoever for such a reaction. For me, guests and their well-being come first and in a location that has a lot of guests (walk-in customers), you should be able to do your job with friendliness and heart. For us it was a real failure and a complete waste of money! When we got the bill, the card reader suddenly didn't work. Then my partner went to an ATM for more than 10 minutes and then got money. When he got back, strangely enough, that card reader worked again. Better go to McDonalds than eat here or any other restaurant on the harbor! Not worth a star!! Unfortunately you have to choose one...

I can't recommend eating food that really makes you want to vomit, the only positive thing is that you're sitting right by the water. There are enough good restaurants where you can go.

The restaurant is recommended. The food wasn't anything special, but the view of the Elbe was. The service was good and brought the food to the table quickly. Unfortunately, the onion schnitzel tasted strongly of Maggie and Knorr's fix vegetable broth, so the taste of the meat suffered. Nevertheless, it was a good stop.

We've been there twice for dinner. Price/performance ratio is okay. Food is served quickly and the waiters are generally quite nice. We'll be back

I eat plaice every year and am always very satisfied.

To be honest, I can't fully understand all the negative criticism. This restaurant is my absolute favorite when I'm on the Landungsbrücken. The staff is great, always friendly, attentive and quick. The food also impresses me every time. Fresh, served hot and tasted really good for the money. I always enjoy coming here and regularly recommend the restaurant.

Sorry, that has nothing to do with gastronomy, a tourist rip-off. The food is snack food at best.

Unfriendly staff and endless wait times. We still hadn't received our food after an hour of waiting. We left. Never again. But of course, the place thrives on walk-in customers who won't come back anyway.

We two ladies were there yesterday at lunchtime by chance. One schnitzel Viennese style and schnitzel with fried egg. We were very impressed with the food. The waiters are quick and relaxed...which I liked...I give it 5 stars and we'll be happy to come back the next time we visit Hamburg....

I should have read the reviews beforehand. Mini portions at motorway service station levels. Extremely rude and unfriendly staff. Typical tourist shop in Hamburg. It doesn't matter if the guest is happy, there are 1000 new ones waiting.

Plaice Finkenwerder style was good, fried potatoes were also good, unfortunately with raw onions. The portion size was more than sufficient, so the price-performance ratio was also okay. The service could actually be a bit friendlier - but that's also a matter of taste.

Really bad personnel, rude and unprofessional

Watery aperol, unfriendly service and the order is only half taken correctly. The walk-in customers keep this restaurant alive. Unbelievable. 😑😮‍💨 If you want to eat a decent steak, you should take a few more steps. Even for a quick drink, I would recommend visiting one of the other restaurants on the Landungsbrücken where you are welcome as a guest. The view of the sunset over the Elbe is positive. But it's free and it's easy to see on all the jetties. 😅

The steakhouse benefits from its top location. Unfortunately, that's the only thing. We wanted to go out to dinner for our birthday, the candle was not included. Then the waiter wanted to dump us with an uncomfortable table at the entrance, even though we had ordered. Only when he noticed our displeasure did we get another table. After 4 minutes the schnitzels came and this is what they looked like. Far from freshly made. The sauce was poured on top and we were actually full by then. I can also confirm that with the Clobrille in the other review. It was also cold in the restaurant. So you'd better look for a steakhouse in the city center, because that was A1. You can enjoy the view by the water even without eating. The restaurant gets the star because of its location.

Waited 45 minutes for two beers, while asking for them a few times. Left eventually because we did not get any. Unfriendly staff and no personal service at all. Not very sanitary

Portions very small, staff very unfriendly and taciturn, taste okay. We were greeted very unfriendly by the waiter. We should have turned back then. Orders were incorrect and took a very long time. Gypsy sauce consists of onions and mushrooms. 🤷‍♂️ Fries without salt and anything but crispy. Questions about ketchup and mayo were ignored. You wait in vain for the bill, it's best to go to the waiter and get it over with quickly. Dessert was served somewhere else. Friendly welcome, delicious and the view just as beautiful.

Staff very unfriendly, especially one of the waiters. At first he didn't want to bring us a menu, then when we ordered we were told that we should hurry up because he didn't have time. We also received such unfriendly comments at neighboring tables. We waited almost 30 minutes for our drinks, then they were placed on the table without a word. Food came after another 30 minutes, tasted okay, portion rather small. We also waited a long time for the second drink and the bill. When we left there was no thank you, goodbye or anything like that. Unfortunately very disappointing - given the location, which is actually perfect. It's a shame that it's handled like this.

Service was underground. The old gentleman in particular was very unfriendly. Food was okay but wouldn't come back. I don't even make frozen schnitzel at home...

We were there last night and weren't happy. The salad was brought incorrectly and was then exchanged, but without an apology. Salad tasted bland, dressing had hardly any taste of its own. There was a hair in the bowl of sauce for the steak. When pointed out, the waiter responded with "Oh, that's the second time today." Hygiene questionable, struggling with stomach cramps since eating. The restaurant cannot be recommended.

Unfriendly staff, expensive and of the large selection of cakes there was only apple pie... early on a Sunday afternoon. No risk of repetition.

The food was solid, although the portions could have been larger - but the price was okay. The entire experience was accompanied by an unpleasant smell of unwashed testicles, which apparently came from the toilet. The service was OK, but could have been friendlier. There are mirrors in the interior, which contribute to the general confusion of the guest.

Ordered a "steak burger" and got a piece of meat. The meat was too salty too. I was totally unsatisfied, but I'm not going to give it one star because the waiters were nice and my girlfriend didn't complain about her steak that she ordered.

We were there yesterday afternoon. The sun was shining on the outside terrace, so we sat there. That was just great, as was the view. Splendid. Then the waiter came. Pretty grumpy. There was only Holsten and Hefeweizen. OK, not that bad. When we asked, we learned that no food was served outside. Ok, then not, we wanted to enjoy the sun. When paying we found out that card payments are only possible from 20 euros. It wasn't written anywhere either. Luckily, both of our wallets and trouser pockets had so much cash that it was enough. It's strange that you allow yourself to do something like that in such an exposed place.... we certainly didn't feel welcome. We then ate at the competition nearby - and there was no problem outside...

The enticement is initially with “reasonable” prices for main courses (considering that you are sitting in the front row). However, the schnitzel was frozen, the sauces were ready and prices for everything else were far from good and bad. A 0.5 l soft drink for €6.50 and a side salad (consisting of iceberg, raw vegetables, bland and small) for €7.50. Unfortunately no recommendation from us.

Simply bad. Had a salad and the steak plate. They didn't ask what dressing you wanted, nor what cooking level the meat should have (which didn't matter anyway, since it was fried medium and was super tough). The salad itself: 7.50 euros for iceberg lettuce with half a tomato, 2 pieces of pepper and a few onion rings. Simply cheeky. The highlight was the mojito with brown rum. Wasted money. Never again

Winzige Portionen, kalte geschmacksneutrale Tütensuppe, erbärmliche Salate. 1 Hand voll gehäckseltem Eisberg mit 1 Tomatenachtel, 1 Gurkenscheibe und einem Ministück Paprika für 7,50€. Dazu ein wenig Dressing aus’m Tetra… sooo macht man Gewinn ohne Rücksicht auf die Befindlichkeiten des Gastes. Miese convenience-Schnitzel, noch miesere Steaks. Saucen aus der Tüte etc. Hier wird nicht gekocht, sondern aufgewärmt nachdem man Tüten Tetrapacks / Dosen geöffnet hat. Hier bekommt der Koch nicht mal Röstzwiebeln gescheit hin. Einer meiner 8 Leidensgefährten sagte, dass er hier definitiv das schlechteste Entrecôte seines Lebens bekommen habe (und der lebt schon geraume Zeit). Schlechter Service, keine Kritikfähigkeit. Stattdessen stumpfe abweisende Gleichgültigkeit. So nach dem Motto: „Deine Kohle haben wir im Sack! Ob Du wieder kommst ist uns egal!“ Also: GEHT HIER NICHT REIN! Einfach nur sehr sehr schlecht der Laden!

Food wasn't that good. Service too. Not customer friendly!

The price of the food is very reasonable even though it is located directly on the jetties. Drinks rather expensive. The taste was so-so, but the service was catastrophic. Our little daughter is a bit picky and we basically wanted to put together a plate of side dishes for her. Lapidary, short and unfriendly message: "It doesn't work. You can't get a bonus." Then we ordered something (vegetable plate) for her. Then the climax, attempted cheating when paying. Quickly recalculated with my cell phone and lo and behold, €4.50 was overcharged. When the complaint was made, the error was only briefly, succinctly and again rather unkindly acknowledged. There was no “sorry” or anything like that. I've rarely been tempted to do this, but here I was happy not to tip.

The Steakhouse Landungsbrücken is located at Bei den St. Pauli - Landungsbrücken 7, in 20359 Hamburg. The aforementioned location is a very good restaurant. The ambience and atmosphere there is very pleasant. I drank various beers there and ate a beef fillet steak. Both were very delicious. Unfortunately, the meat was cooked through, even though it was ordered medium rare. Very poor for a stakehouse. Unfortunately I can't recommend it

The view is really nice, BUT the food is more like something from the canteen. In addition, a MOUSE ran through the restaurant several times. Of course, it can't be said whether she lives there or is just lost. Still very unappetizing.

Nice atmosphere, but colder inside than outside. The food (various schnitzels) didn't look appealing and was snack quality. What didn't work at all was far too little tapped Alster water. 1 finger width below Rastal is not possible. The crown barely scraped the mark. Friendliness can still be improved, or is it just Hamburg slang?

We waited 40 minutes for 2 apple strudel and 2 beers. While another larger group received this after just 5 minutes. The service was unfriendly and didn't even apologize for the fact that the order didn't come.

5 days in Hamburg, and ate in a different restaurant every day......on August 22nd, 2024, around 2 p.m., we stopped at the Steak & Fish Schnitzelhouse. We were in the restaurant, were greeted immediately and in a friendly manner and were served quickly. Our schnitzel (tender) and the fries tasted very good, we were “completely satisfied”. The schnitzel price of €15.90 is also okay!!! We sat at table 34/1, everything was okay and not too crowded...we were served by Service 21, a nice, young man. It's a shame that this is written so "anonymously" on the receipt, a first name would also be fine. We can highly recommend this restaurant “Bei den St.Pauli Landungsbrücken 7”. If we go on a “short vacation in Hamburg” again, we will “stop” there again. Arrived in Hamburg by car - and with the HamburgCard - carried out all activities...but parking spaces were occasionally free... J.+ Evelyn from Berlin

Food a total disaster. Carelessly done. Meat totally burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Baked potato tastes totally old, like it's 3 days old. Local is not recommended!!!!!! In my opinion it's stupid and a complete rip off!!!

Restaurant on the Hamburg Landungsbrücken. The view of the Elbe is gigantic. Not too crowded in the morning and breakfast there is good. Prices are ok for a tourist region. Looking forward to next time.

I have rarely felt so unwanted in a restaurant. After a long wait, during which we decided to change tables after studying the menu, we were rudely contacted when we were told that we didn't need menus because we had already made our choice and were advised to bring more time with us. Absolutely irritating as none of us had suggested anything to that effect. This improved slightly with the second service, but became even weirder with the statement that in the case of a split bill you can only pay in cash. That's it for the tip and we'll find an alternative the next time we're at the Landungsbrücken. The food was ok, but not more than that.

Recommended restaurant right on the Elbe. Lots of comfortable seating inside and lots of places outside. The food was ok. From fish to meat, there is a lot on offer.

Great location right next to the Landungsbrücken, but the staff is very unfriendly. We actually wanted to eat something but left it with drinks because we preferred to go to a restaurant where you were welcome.

Just wanted to have a cappuccino because I met friends. I sat down at the table, then the CHEF came personally and told me to move closer to the table, otherwise the aisle would be too narrow to walk through. I'm 1.96 tall... The waiters came over easily. A tip to the BOSS, the seating change!!!!! After that I didn't order anything else and just chatted with my friends. After 2 minutes the BOSS came again and kicked me out. Unfriendly, dirty!!!!!

Finished products, i.e. frozen products and canned mushrooms even though the menu says: Schnitzel with fresh cream mushrooms. 5 slices of mushroom 😂 in an indefinable mush. 16 euros.

We had the gourmet breakfast, 2 rolls with cold cuts and jam and cappuccino. The best cappuccino we've had in a long time. Nice foam, strong in taste but still round. Great location for a refreshment before a boat trip, right on the Elbe with a view of incoming and sailing ships.

Very nice staff, great ambience (right on the jetty) Super good cappuccino with really solid foam. Breakfast was sufficiently tasty and sustainable.

Well, don't dream... My Schnizel had no taste (what is the origin of the meat?) and its industrial sauce, the same for the fries... sit-down fast food...

The ambience is of course TOP due to the location, but the food is less so. Unfortunately, the fish dish was not only completely fried, but actually dead. Steak plate was ok in itself, but for €20 it was actually a joke including ready-made sauce for €1.50 a portion. The “highlight” is the beef broth with meat for €8.50, which no beef has ever seen, apart from the 2 mini pieces that were cold. Service was very nice, but didn't deserve a second try.
