3 1/2 out of 5: Good food with good value for money. Quaint. I just don't understand why you don't just replace worn-out toilet seats and put up a few scent sticks to deal with the smell (the term "smell" just isn't appropriate enough..)? Service very nice and attentive!

Food ok, location great, service absolutely subpar. Sure, the hamburgers are tough, but I've rarely experienced anything so unfriendly and inattentive

Winzige Portionen, kalte geschmacksneutrale Tütensuppe, erbärmliche Salate. 1 Hand voll gehäckseltem Eisberg mit 1 Tomatenachtel, 1 Gurkenscheibe und einem Ministück Paprika für 7,50€. Dazu ein wenig Dressing aus’m Tetra… sooo macht man Gewinn ohne Rücksicht auf die Befindlichkeiten des Gastes. Miese convenience-Schnitzel, noch miesere Steaks. Saucen aus der Tüte etc. Hier wird nicht gekocht, sondern aufgewärmt nachdem man Tüten Tetrapacks / Dosen geöffnet hat. Hier bekommt der Koch nicht mal Röstzwiebeln gescheit hin. Einer meiner 8 Leidensgefährten sagte, dass er hier definitiv das schlechteste Entrecôte seines Lebens bekommen habe (und der lebt schon geraume Zeit). Schlechter Service, keine Kritikfähigkeit. Stattdessen stumpfe abweisende Gleichgültigkeit. So nach dem Motto: „Deine Kohle haben wir im Sack! Ob Du wieder kommst ist uns egal!“ Also: GEHT HIER NICHT REIN! Einfach nur sehr sehr schlecht der Laden!

Food wasn't that good. Service too. Not customer friendly!

The price of the food is very reasonable even though it is located directly on the jetties. Drinks rather expensive. The taste was so-so, but the service was catastrophic. Our little daughter is a bit picky and we basically wanted to put together a plate of side dishes for her. Lapidary, short and unfriendly message: "It doesn't work. You can't get a bonus." Then we ordered something (vegetable plate) for her. Then the climax, attempted cheating when paying. Quickly recalculated with my cell phone and lo and behold, €4.50 was overcharged. When the complaint was made, the error was only briefly, succinctly and again rather unkindly acknowledged. There was no “sorry” or anything like that. I've rarely been tempted to do this, but here I was happy not to tip.

The Steakhouse Landungsbrücken is located at Bei den St. Pauli - Landungsbrücken 7, in 20359 Hamburg. The aforementioned location is a very good restaurant. The ambience and atmosphere there is very pleasant. I drank various beers there and ate a beef fillet steak. Both were very delicious. We cannot understand the bad reviews. The steaks were great, as were the side dishes. Prices are ok for the great location! Very friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere, but colder inside than outside. The food (various schnitzels) didn't look appealing and was snack quality. What didn't work at all was far too little tapped Alster water. 1 finger width below Rastal is not possible. The crown barely scraped the mark. Friendliness can still be improved, or is it just Hamburg slang?

We waited 40 minutes for 2 apple strudel and 2 beers. While another larger group received this after just 5 minutes. The service was unfriendly and didn't even apologize for the fact that the order didn't come.

When I asked for a table for myself, I was cheekily and flippantly told that everything was reserved here. There is still a free table at the back. I sat down. The waiter threw the menu at me and tried to move me to an even worse table. I left there.

5 days in Hamburg, and ate in a different restaurant every day......on August 22nd, 2024, around 2 p.m., we stopped at the Steak & Fish Schnitzelhouse. We were in the restaurant, were greeted immediately and in a friendly manner and were served quickly. Our schnitzel (tender) and the fries tasted very good, we were “completely satisfied”. The schnitzel price of €15.90 is also okay!!! We sat at table 34/1, everything was okay and not too crowded...we were served by Service 21, a nice, young man. It's a shame that this is written so "anonymously" on the receipt, a first name would also be fine. We can highly recommend this restaurant “Bei den St.Pauli Landungsbrücken 7”. If we go on a “short vacation in Hamburg” again, we will “stop” there again. Food a total disaster. Carelessly done. Meat totally burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. Baked potato tastes totally old, like it's 3 days old. Local is not recommended!!!!!! In my opinion it's stupid and a complete rip off!!!

Restaurant on the Hamburg Landungsbrücken. The view of the Elbe is gigantic. Not too crowded in the morning and breakfast there is good. Prices are ok for a tourist region. Looking forward to next time.

Great location right next to the Landungsbrücken, but the staff is very unfriendly. We actually wanted to eat something but left it with drinks because we preferred to go to a restaurant where you were welcome.

Recommended restaurant right on the Elbe. Lots of comfortable seating inside and lots of places outside. The food was ok. From fish to meat, there is a lot on offer.

I have rarely felt so unwanted in a restaurant. After a long wait, during which we decided to change tables after studying the menu, we were rudely contacted when we were told that we didn't need menus because we had already made our choice and were advised to bring more time with us. Absolutely irritating as none of us had suggested anything to that effect. This improved slightly with the second service, but became even weirder with the statement that in the case of a split bill you can only pay in cash. That's it for the tip and we'll find an alternative the next time we're at the Landungsbrücken. The food was ok, but not more than that.

Just wanted to have a cappuccino because I met friends. I sat down at the table, then the CHEF came personally and told me to move closer to the table, otherwise the aisle would be too narrow to walk through. I'm 1.96 tall... The waiters came over easily. A tip to the BOSS, the seating change!!!!! After that I didn't order anything else and just chatted with my friends. After 2 minutes the BOSS came again and kicked me out. Unfriendly, dirty!!!!!

Finished products, i.e. frozen products and canned mushrooms even though the menu says: Schnitzel with fresh cream mushrooms. 5 slices of mushroom 😂 in an indefinable mush. 16 euros.

We had the gourmet breakfast, 2 rolls with cold cuts and jam and cappuccino. The best cappuccino we've had in a long time. Nice foam, strong in taste but still round. Great location for a refreshment before a boat trip, right on the Elbe with a view of incoming and sailing ships.

Very nice staff, great ambience (right on the jetty) Super good cappuccino with really solid foam. Breakfast was sufficiently tasty and sustainable.

Well, don't dream... My Schnizel had no taste (what is the origin of the meat?) and its industrial sauce, the same for the fries... sit-down fast food...

The ambience is of course TOP due to the location, but the food is less so. Unfortunately, the fish dish was not only completely fried, but actually dead. Steak plate was ok in itself, but for €20 it was actually a joke including ready-made sauce for €1.50 a portion. The “highlight” is the beef broth with meat for €8.50, which no beef has ever seen, apart from the 2 mini pieces that were cold. Service was very nice, but didn't deserve a second try.

Update 5/24: New visit, rating is still correct! :) ----- Overall good for the tourist area. You shouldn't expect too much friendliness here. Quality and price/performance are okay.

I have to say that you are on vacation and then the employees yell at you to find a place (with a stroller), others weren't served at all... bad service In addition, half of the food was forgotten and then the cold food that was forgotten was still served. There wasn't a huge crowd of customers at this point.

The prices fit the term tourist rip-off very well. €6.50 for a lukewarm wheat beer is tough. But at least it gets thrown carelessly onto the table. The herring fillets felt like they had more bones than the fish on the day it died. But here too a balance was created by making the portion negligibly small. Luckily it was served on a breakfast plate, otherwise the food would have been impossible to find. The schnitzel salad, on the other hand, was convincing, but also beyond good or bad in terms of price. Despite the prices, we wanted to have a second drink and enjoy the magnificent view, but the staff somehow didn't want this even though the shop wasn't even half full and the end of the day was still very far away.

We were there on July 19th. for dinner on site. As others have written before, the price is high but we also thought we would take a look. The steak was ordered medium but was well done. The schnitzels were okay. I was shocked at dessert. Apple strudel with vanilla ice cream, it really came as shown on paper. The little one liked it, but as we all know, the eye eats too. I think the rent at the Landungsbrücken will be enormous, which could justify the prices, I even think that if you put effort into the preparation you could charge even more. It's actually a shame, our conclusion is a tourism-run shop, so they can probably afford it, we won't come again.

Were there, yes you sit there quite OK. But eating is just like that. Schnitzel fries are both frozen goods, certainly also baked in the same fry. You would have to look for champions in the finished mixture. The waiter was nice and did his job. Prices quite high for the quality!

To bridge the waiting time, we wanted to have something for lunch. The steakhouse was one of the few restaurants that wasn't overcrowded and still had plenty of space for guests despite the bad weather. There were three of us and we asked for a place in the dining room, which seemed quite friendly and appealing. The staff rolled their eyes when we asked, but assigned us exactly the seat we didn't want (we said that beforehand). Well, it was bad weather and we were hungry, so we ordered two cheese schnitzels with fries, one with pepper sauce as it was advertised on the menu and one with mushroom sauce upon request and turkey steak with fries plus drinks. The food came quite quickly and looked okay. The eyes eat with us, but the taste buds say something different than the eyes. The fries were crispy, but unfortunately, like the rest of the meal, they were only lukewarm and there was a complete lack of spices throughout the meal. There is salt and pepper on the table, but unfortunately that doesn't affect the taste. That's not possible for the price and seems rather intimidating. The guests at the next tables had the same opinion. The main thing was that we were full. That was the positive thing ;) about this restaurant. Oh yes, the toilets are still pretty clean. What is not acceptable at all is a waiter who takes out his bad mood on the guests and insults children who ask for ketchup for their fries. Who sends people away who want to come in with a wheelchair. Who gets upset about people who want or have to pay by card. When you pay with your card, you pay attention to how you enter your pin. Who, when it is pointed out to him that he is quite unfriendly, tells a guest to shut up. There is simply no place for such a person there. And then he's surprised he doesn't get a tip. His colleague is only apparently friendly. He tried to complain when he felt unobserved. I ask myself, if you are so annoyed by your guests, on whose money and on whose word of mouth you depend, why are you such a puke? What do you do when the restaurant is full and not only a quarter of the tables are occupied? We definitely wouldn't eat here again.

What you pay and what you get here is ridiculous, the normal Wiener Schnitzel shouldn't cost more than 10€, the steak burger has nothing to do with a burger, you just get a steak and a dry bread and the fries are at least fresh from the place Microwave.

Once and never again. Pure tourist rip-off, you pay high prices for portions that are far too small. The schnitzel isn't right because the fries taste like they've just been taken out of the microwave. In order to avoid eating the fries completely dry, you have to order and pay for ketchup and other sauces separately. Ridiculous

We went into the restaurant with good intentions and were put off by reading the menu. The prices are really very high. But since we were hungry, we stayed and gave the food a chance and ordered a Wiener Schnitzel with fries and a fried herring with fried potatoes and bacon. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was very tough and hard to cut, the fries were very greasy and there was no sauce, so everything was very dry. The fish was okay, the fried potatoes tasted like they were ready to be warmed up from Rewe and there was almost no bacon. All in all, the visit was expensive but not worth it.

I ate a gypsy schnitzel. Anyone who likes Maggi is in good hands there. I usually choose places based on Google reviews, which was a recommendation from a friend. Tastes are different.

It's great to sit by the water with a view of the ships and harbor. We ate a steak burger, which is misleading... it's minced steak with fries. The quality and taste was good. And green herrings... when I asked for information about the fish, I was told it was fried fish..., the result was 2 small fish, which in theory would be ok if half of it wasn't made of bones. The taste was otherwise ok, only cold after being peeled. Fried potatoes and tartar sauce were very tasty. Whether it's worth the price... Latte macchiato very good.. the waiter who served us… could have been a little friendlier

We went here for lunch after our big harbor tour. We found the prices to be reasonable, the ambience and of course the food was great, everyone was happy. Food came quickly and the service was very friendly and helpful One star deducted because out of 5 pisoars only one worked. Once and never again. I have never experienced such an unfriendly waiter in my entire life. Because my 92-year-old father couldn't make a decision quickly enough, we were approached in a very unfriendly manner, telling us that we weren't the only ones here. If my father hadn't been so exhausted, I would have gotten up and left immediately. When the waiter brought the wrong thing and I pointed it out to him, I was insulted with a very ugly insult in Croatian as I walked away. I asked him that I understood this exactly and confronted him... only at my father's request, but I let it go. This waiter actually deserved consequences for his behavior.

It is my favorite restaurant on the Landungsbrücken. However, I always notice that the waitresses serve the tables in a very hectic and seemingly uncoordinated manner. There is no fixed service at “your” table. This leads to rather impersonal service. You don't have the feeling of being operated by one hand. The waiting times between orders and requests are longer than in other comparable restaurants.

Actually no star for this poor service. Very unfriendly service. Was bored and we had to wait a long time. When the glasses were empty, no one asked if anything else was wanted. You don't really want to pay by card, just so you can get a tip. You can't tip for that!

15.90€ for a frozen schnitzel and ready-made sauce, that was our Jägerschnitzel! The waiter was very brisk, loud and rude. The bill was reluctantly given upon request and not at the table, after asking twice about the bill we were bluntly told that we should pick it up at the cash register. He was probably offended that he only got an 80 cent tip for his different kind of service he didn't deserve anything

There were three of us there and we ate rump steak three times. It was acceptable in terms of price and taste, but nothing special either. However, the service was a disaster, with waiters running through the rows seemingly aimless. Guests who wanted to look for a table were called back; they didn't want to sit so far back. When we wanted to pay, we made ourselves known several times, we were always told that the other person was responsible. When we finally got hold of the RIGHT person and said we would like to pay, he turned to the table opposite us and asked if the guests also wanted to pay and only then collected them when I asked why he did that even though we did Yes, when we first expressed the desire to pay, his answer was that it would have been quicker, there were only two of them... and whether we were in a hurry. It's a shame that some people who ate here had some bad luck. We were completely satisfied... My husband had cheese schnitzel with pepper sauce and he thought it was delicious.. When we got the food, we were really amazed. For just under €15 (per dish) you can get so few fried potatoes, a fish full of bones and a lettuce leaf. The food was cold and bland. The potatoes were poorly seasoned and some paprika powder was carelessly spread on the fish. My wife's Jägerschnitzel looked good, but it was also simple frozen food, full of gristle and not even really warm. The fries were weak and poorly salted. The sauce was too floury and had little flavor. It was also so cold in the store that we had to put on our jackets. Apparently the heating was broken, but then it was better to close the restaurant for the day. You could have stayed outside to warm up. Conclusion: we left the store quickly. The bad reviews so far are justified!

We were at the Landungsbrücken and decided to sit down in a nice restaurant. Since it was cold and stormy outside, we of course wanted to warm up a little. Were there on a Sunday lunchtime. The pilsner on tap was Schal. And the fries without salt. The service was unmotivated. Now we know why there were so many free tables there and why the other restaurants were full...

The waiter is a fraud!. He asked us to pay in cash, without ticket. There were no announcements saying that they charged only in cash. When we get out, they charged other table with a credit card. We complained but nothing about returning the cash to change to credit cash pay.

Auf den Tischen lagen pro Platz Nachtisch-(Menü) Karten aus Papier - vermutlich als Unterstetzer gemeint. Selbst beim Wegräumen wurden neue gegeben, damit das Ambiente gestört. Die Definition eines Burgers war irritiere führend - es war nur ein Patty. Die Bedienung an sich war sehr spatanisch - undeutliche Aussprache und kaum auf Kundenwünsche eingegangen. Beim Bezahlen kam direkt die Aufforderung "nur bar Zahlung". Leider kein gelungener Start in Abend.

Schneller Service,aber sehr lieblos. Falsche Beilage zum Steak und das Brot,das ausdrücklich NICHT gewünscht worden ist,lag mit auf dem Teller. Zuhören kann wohl nicht jeder. Die Pommes waren nicht nur weich,sondern auch ungekürzt. Preis-Leistung stimmt gar nicht!
