According to the information on the restaurant's website it is open from 5 p.m., but we found the door closed. I received no response to my table reservation by email three days in advance. At the real estate office a few meters away there was an advertisement in the window: operator wanted. We were here last year and loved the food. That's why we specifically came back here on our vacation. According to the homepage it is now open. You can at least update the page or take it down!

Wirklich sehr nettes Personal. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Nur die Soßen waren etwas abgestanden und haben nicht so gut geschmeckt wie sonst. Das Pesto war auch bereits zerfallen

Ich habe selten so ein gutes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Steakhouse besucht wie das Taurus, welches zentral im alten Hafen von Heiligenhafen liegt. Ich hatte ein 350 g Hüftsteak, welches auf dem Punkt auf dem Lavastein gegrillt war! Dieses wurde mit Brot serviert. Besonders gut fand ich es, dass man sich die Beilagen dazu vom reichhaltigen Buffet nehmen konnte. Kartoffelgratin, Pommes und Pasta, verschiedene Gemüse und der Salat waren sehr lecker! Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und kompetent. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in Heiligenhafen sind! Reservierung zwingend empfohlen, da das Restaurant um 18:00 Uhr schon komplett voll besetzt war.

An actually very nice hotel. The SPA area and sauna master Rudi are to be praised. He is extremely competent, nice and responds very well to the guests. A real role model. The kitchen team is very committed. With half board there is a buffet in the morning and evening. The food is of good to very good quality, is always fresh and has a good selection and quantity. It is regularly topped up and checked. However, the gastronomic concept and the management of the restaurant are unreasonable. Although there are “actually” no fixed seats, some of the tables are specifically reserved for families. The result is that there are far too few places for half-board guests who have to look for a table. In some cases, guests have to sit outside (with jackets) or in a distant adjoining room. There are not enough service staff to provide adequate service in this category. You sometimes have to organize your own glasses, salt and pepper and cutlery. A properly set table is more likely to happen by chance. Used plates are only slowly cleared away. It takes forever to order drinks. The waiters are friendly and committed, but unfortunately completely overloaded. When asked, the waiters admitted that they were understaffed. On the day of departure, despite having made a reservation by 11:00 a.m., we were asked out of the room by the cleaning staff at exactly 10:00 a.m. Our objective criticism was responded to either indifferently (reception) or snippy (reception in the restaurant). All in all, it's a shame. With better organization, personnel planning and management, the hotel's demands could actually be met... EDIT to the feedback from A-Rosa: What exceptional situation? We just wanted a seat in the (!!) restaurant (and not anywhere else), service that was reasonable for the price and not to be chased out of the room. In good hotels, these are not demands that lead to an “exceptional situation”…… However, the feedback matches the reaction of the staff on site. Whether the guest liked it doesn't seem to matter. Sad…..

The cuisine is North German and very tasty. The staff is very friendly and competent. The fish dishes with delicious fried potatoes are highly recommended. The quality of the prepared food is very good. I was very satisfied and can only warmly recommend this pearl of the western Baltic Sea. Always worth a visit.

Only dish names are Mexican. Burritos were served cold. Chips cooked enough but with lower grade potatoes. Good enough for Schleswig perhaps

Great, friendly service. The breakfast was simply fantastic and the style of the lobby invites you to linger. The location is great. You are immediately by the sea and it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the city center.

Nice hotel with a good location and nice service. Delicious attached restaurant. Free ToGo coffee bar. Room clean, modern and tidy, unfortunately the bathroom was a bit old and had some unsightly silicone repairs that spoiled the overall appearance of the room.

We were there on a Sunday at 5 p.m. with a table reservation. Nice, friendly, helpful service, extra requests were gladly accepted! The food was hot and very tasty. We all had different dishes. The restaurant was very well attended, we would love to come back!!!!
