A very nice hotel, not too big not too small, very nice service, delicious, rich breakfast buffet. We'd love to come back.

Great, friendly service. The breakfast was simply fantastic and the style of the lobby invites you to linger. The location is great. You are immediately by the sea and it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the city center.

I always enjoy coming here. It's not just that there's been absolutely nothing wrong with the rooms so far and that the breakfast actually suits every taste (there's everything from sweet to savory, including a station where warm breakfast dishes are prepared in real time). It's not just the bar either, where you can get just about any specialty drink your heart desires (and at affordable prices too). Rather, it is the incredibly friendly, charming and warm staff that always makes it worth repeating. You are always greeted with “Nice that you are here!”. And it feels like that's true! You will always be greeted with a smile, a friendly welcome and perfect service. Here we work with attention to detail - and then everything is just right. We're happy to come any time!

Great hotel, with super nice staff

This was our second time in the hotel and we were very satisfied this time. Very nice breakfast buffet, especially the omelet. Little things: the mattress was a bit sagging and the rolls seemed a bit floppy

We found the hotel and the surrounding area very nice, the service in the hotel was very good. Unfortunately we left the night before because the room (6) was just too noisy for us. Doors squeaking, banging, conversations next to and above us were just too much. You should really think about extended sound insulation here.

Quite okay. Price performance just doesn't fit.

Very nice location and great location. Unfortunately the price was increased by 125 euros because I had my two border collies with me.

We booked for 4 days via an external site and left after the first night. At first we didn't recognize the hotel at all because the pictures from the external site and the hotel's own website were a year old and had not been updated after the renovation. We booked several optional extras, such as parking, balcony, kettle, etc. When we arrived we were greeted warmly, but soon realized that no parking space had been booked. We were kindly pointed out to an external parking lot 400-500m away. The next shock was the really minimalist room. With 2 people plus suitcases you could hardly move, let alone stand next to each other. The balcony was also searched in vain; when asked, the receptionist said; Quote: For us, a balcony is a window My answer to that: Because I'm a smoker, We have booked a balcony as an option. Receptionist: We are a non-smoking hotel. It's great that this isn't described anywhere and there are ashtrays at the side entrance and in the front..... The bed was a complete disaster, my pregnant partner slept maybe 3 hours that night. The bathroom was apparently built for hobbits or the height measurements were swapped with those from a daycare center. The cleanliness and the state of renovation of the rooms also leaves a lot to be desired. All in all, the price for an overnight stay in the 4 star hotel is not justified. Too bad, despite the really excellent staff (Julian) in the afternoon (very helpful and solution-oriented) and at night (unfortunately we forgot the name) definitely won't be coming back.

We are extremely disappointed with our stay at this hotel. We specifically booked a room with a balcony because of the good weather to celebrate a birthday. However, upon arrival we were assigned a room without a balcony, which only offered a view of a nearby wall. Due to the new building behind it, the hotel apparently has many of these dark-looking rooms. To our surprise, the receptionist tried to sell us this room as an upgrade. We therefore found the hotel's approach to be very unprofessional. We were told that the balcony rooms were apparently overbooked. After we couldn't come to an agreement with the hotel, we turned to the booking platform. They offered us the option to change to another hotel without incurring any additional costs - the booking platform may have passed these costs on to the hotel. Only after we actually considered this did a balcony room suddenly, in a strange way, become available for us. Although we were able to celebrate our birthday in the end, the previous hassle was unnecessary and cost us half a day. We booked the hotel to relax and have a good time, not to deal with such problems. We felt very deceived and definitely cannot recommend this hotel!

We were guests for 1 week in August. Booked a suite, it was perfect. The breakfast was perfect, if you have anything to complain about, you should stay at home. The sauna on the roof terrace and the night in the sand sleeping basket were awesome. And all the staff were very friendly and attentive, it was natural and not fake. Just a 5 minute walk and you were on the Baltic Sea, great. 15 minutes and the center of Timmendorfer Strand was reached, it couldn't be better. Quiet location, exactly what we like. It was a completely successful holiday, we will definitely come back again.

The rooms are very clean and comfortably furnished. The staff, no matter what time of day, were very attentive and nice. The breakfast was good, and the cocktails in the evening were our highlight.

The first time I was here was with my best friend (a gift), now with my husband. It's so uncomplicated and homely here. After just 3 days you come down and enjoy everything. “Just” feels good. THANKS!!!

The photos of the hotel and rooms on the hotel web site are very good. The service was not attentive, the were occupied with themselves more then with the guests. Breakfast mediocre. Rooms quite used up, small and not well furnished or thought through... Eg. The doors to the restrooms are just a glass door, the does not dampens anything... If you are OK with it... The service rather unfriendly..

I had 5 disgusting black spiders in the room. When I discovered the first one, I ran down to reception because no one was answering the phone. The employee had just finished work, but stayed late to look for the spider with me, because it crawled away in the meantime. After a long search we found it and he removed it. He was very understanding and I am very grateful to him for helping me. After almost 30 minutes the next person crawled up the wall, this time another man helped me and made fun of the fact that I was disgusted by spiders. Which was pretty disgusting, he hit the spider with his bare hand and then smeared it on the carpet 🤢 On the day of departure, 3 more spiders arrived and when I mentioned this at check-out, the employee's answer was: "We're in the village too..." and made it ridiculous. I found her reaction disappointing, especially because it made it ridiculous. It's not unusual to be afraid/disgusted of spiders and of course it can happen that a spider gets lost in the hotel room, but 5??? But what I liked was the outdoor area of ​​the hotel, the great and quiet location and the fact that there are no children there.

We were there for a long weekend and were completely satisfied. The staff was helpful and friendly at all times, the breakfast buffet was a dream (lots of choice and super tasty) and the entire furnishings/presentation seemed very elegant. The parking lot is directly behind the hotel and fenced - also a big plus! The bar/café is also great, we can recommend everything from waffles to homemade iced tea to cocktails. We can only recommend the bicycles as an additional service. If you like sauna, you have to reserve the sauna for 1.5 hours. Here the price-performance ratio is a 5/5! The only drawback on the first night was that the rooms were quite noisy (depending on the neighbors). But of course this could also be due to the behavior of the neighbors. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back! :)

I have been a regular guest at the hotel for years and either go there with my husband or alone. I like the location, the furnishings, the ambience, the friendliness and especially the breakfast.

Very nice staff and the atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant. We like to come here to have a few relaxing days. The rooms and the balcony are very nicely designed. Highly recommended!!

There's not much to say here, we recently stayed there for 12 nights and it was a dream like two years ago. The way to the beach is short and you can also get into town quickly. The rooms are clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great, and the prices for the drinks in the bar are also reasonable. All I can say is keep it up. And thank you for the wonderful time with you.

Great location in the second row to the beach, our room was quite small, for €200 per night you can definitely get more space somewhere else. Still very comfortable! The breakfast until 1 p.m. was wonderful and every single person on the staff was super friendly! Check-in and check-out were quick and uncomplicated.

Great location, nice staff, very good breakfast. Gladly again! Consider parking fees. Renting bikes is a little more expensive, but the cheaper bikes from the mini golf course across the street were enough for us (€10 per day). Recommended!

100% recommendation. A beautiful boutique hotel located between the center of Timmendorfer Strand and Niendorf. Super friendly staff, beautifully furnished rooms (but you can save on sea view rooms in the second location in Timmendorf) and a chilled atmosphere throughout the entire hotel. The breakfast was also very good. Tips: you can also try the unusual types of tea that you can buy at the reception at breakfast upon request and the bar has the better coffee specialties for breakfast. The rooftop private sauna (can be booked in advance via the HB) for 30 euros is also worth it.

Arrogant reception, the person in charge of the bar/restaurant doesn't even come out of her office for inquiries and sends employees ahead. They won't get any help here. Parking lot difficult to navigate due to small loose stones...

Actually a very nice hotel that leaves little to be desired. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The interior design is modern and chic. The location right on the promenade is also a dream. The breakfast was great with freshly prepared egg dishes in the open show kitchen. We also liked the rest of the breakfast buffet. The fully automatic coffee machines were interesting and left nothing to be desired. The WiFi in the hotel is very good and extremely fast. 350 Mbit per second is exceptionally good. The parking lot is not open to the general public and is behind a fence. The parking lot is a bit tight. There are a lot of positive points and we only have two things that we didn't like. The open bathroom was not at all to our liking. We wondered what the architect was thinking 😄. We also found the beds quite hard. Although it is a body friendly bamboo product, it was not good for us to sleep on. Timmendorfer Strand is definitely worth a trip. In front of the hotel 🏨 there are wellness loungers to relax. We wish the hotel and the employees all the best and maybe say see you soon.

Super great hotel. Child-free holiday right in the middle of the Baltic Sea. Hotel located in the second row, very modern, great atmosphere and a real “Lufestyle” feeling. The atmosphere was always great, we felt very comfortable morning, lunch and evening. Great bar, great breakfast, fast, efficient and not at all overloaded. The highlight is the reception team: ready to help beyond the usual tasks. Karsten in particular made our stay a little better. Thanks for the great recommendations and the friendly conversations, they still take time for their customers here.

Schickes Hotel in absoluter Strandnähe. Wir haben ein tolles Zimmer mit Meerblick. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Sehr schönes, chices Hotel, liebevoll eingerichtet, gemütlich und sehr hübsch, einfach zum Wohlfühlen. Das Zimmer ist chic und gemütlich mit kleiner Terrasse. Fantastisches Frühstück, besser geht nicht. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ein Träumchen hier!

Zum zweiten Mal als Neujahrsurlauberinnen dort und wieder waren wir begeistert. Das Hotel mit dem tollen Raumklima, das immer freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, das Hammer-Frühstücks- Buffett mit warmen Brot, selbstgemachte Marmeladen, Samova- Tee, die Dach-Sauna mit der 2er Aussenliege, das abendliche Chillen an der Fensterfront mit Tee oder Wein - ein Traum!

In 2 Reihe gelegen eine wunderschöne Aussicht aufs Meer gehabt. Innenstadt fußläufig ca 8 min. Alles in einem ein schönes Wochenende verbracht!
