Windfang in Timmendorfer Strand

After our round of golf on the north course, we wanted to enjoy the sunset on the terrace with a wheat beer! Unfortunately, that didn't happen, as we were greeted with such disapproval that we decided to go somewhere else! It was truly outrageous!

The food was really good, but some of the staff were very unfriendly and responded grumpily. The view was very nice.

Great restaurant with a view of the golf course and lake. A very good food ordering system. Each table has a QR code. This takes you to the menu and orders your desired drink or meal. You can then pay either by credit card or PayPal, including a tip. There's no long wait and the service is very friendly. The south course is also highly recommended for golfers, despite its shorter holes. It's beautifully laid out, but it does have its challenges. Very good restrooms with nice showers and free towels.

Disappointing! The Wiener schnitzel for €27.90 is okay, but it was miniature. The meat was almost 1cm thick and not pounded. The breading was pale, greasy, and not crispy. The cranberries were convenience jam and tasteless. I wanted to replace my fried potatoes with vegetables – that wasn't a problem; instead, they served shriveled fried peas and diced carrots from the freezer. We had this thing three times and paid almost €100 for it. It's a real disgrace. The pepperoni on the tarte flambée couldn't be removed. The farmer's breakfast was decently prepared. The service was also below average. The location and ambiance are actually really great. But the kitchen really needs some work. It's a real shame 😢

I ordered a coffee and a cappuccino to go in the morning and had it charged to my room. Upon checking out, I was told there was an additional charge of €12.80, which I thought was a lot, so I asked again in the restaurant. They explained to me that the cappuccino contains two espressos, hence the price... - according to the drinks menu, the total was around €9. Whatever, I paid, and never again! I felt ripped off.

selten so schlecht gegessen...es war nichts frisch zubereitet, lieblos auf dem Teller ....um ein Getränk einzunehmen ok, ansonsten nicht weiter zu empfehlen, wir kommen seit 15 Jahren in das Restaurant und sehen hier einen total qualitativen Absturz...leider. Der Service war ok, die Zahlungsweise auch speziell ( geht nur über smartphone....mit scan code...)

Below average food. Service is non-existent because you order and pay for everything via your cell phone.

Stylish table setting, paired with good food and attentive service. We took a short break here after 9 holes and were served promptly yet casually – better than we imagined. The value for money is excellent. I highly recommend the restaurant.

We were there three weeks ago. Unfortunately the fries were just greasy. Hard to enjoy. It was also not asked if it tasted. The tarte flambée and the currywurst were okay. The view is a dream…

We have only positive things to say. We stayed here with our son for two weeks. Friendly staff, delicious food, and a great atmosphere. All our requests were met, both early for breakfast and in the evening. Highly recommended. We felt very comfortable. Keep up the good work.

Subpar food, included in our expensive golf package. Felt like frozen veggies heated.

We were very disappointed. The food wasn't seasoned properly and the service didn't really care.

At first we thought, "We're in the wrong place." Because all we saw was a golf course and a lot of golfers... But no... Great welcome, excellent service, and the three courses (bruschetta, burger, and ice cream) were delicious. We sat on the terrace with a beautiful view of a lake and the golf course. And even our dog got a fresh bowl of water. Thank you... 👍👍

Great restaurant, excellent food, professional service, special ambience. Again and again. You can spend a very pleasant evening here, whether as a family or with friends.

Leckeres Essen. Wirklich toll war allerdings der Service. Schnell & zuvorkommend. So soll es sein.

Essen war lecker, Personal freundlich. Parken vor Ort ist kein Problem. Es gab Kleinigkeiten, wie zB Currywurst, aber auch Seezunge, Flammkuchen, Salate, Steak..

Ich fand alles ausgezeichnet leckeres Essen, das Essen kam schnell und sehr netter Service, vor allem das Eis war Lecker😋

Bei unserer späten Ankunft bekamen wir freundlicherweise noch Abendessen. Das Restaurant liegt schön mit Aussicht über den Golfplatz. Es gibt eine große Terrasse, für die war es aber zu kalt. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung.
