Landhaus Carstens Hotel & Restaurant in Timmendorfer Strand

Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Schon bei der Tisch-Reservierung hatte ich auf meine Knoblauchallergie hingewiesen. Am Abend bekam ich am Tisch sofort Empfehlungen vom Küchenchef für das Menue. Das nenne ich besondere Aufmerksamkeit und Wertschätzung.

Waren Anfang März zu zweit mit Hund Gast im Carstens. Unser Zimmer war im Neubau gegenüber und sehr großzügig! Der Hund darf mit ins Restaurant. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Frühstück! Man wählt per Karte am Tag vorab was man möchte und bekommt dies dann auf einer Etagere an den Tisch. Bedeutet mehr Aufwand für das Personal aber weniger Lebensmittelverschwendung! Der Service war sehr freundlich, das Essen gut und auch die Unverträglichkeiten mehr Schwester wurden sorgfältig berücksichtigt! Rundrum ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!! Vielen Dank an das ganze Team 🫶

Meine Erfahrung mit dem Landhaus Carstens ist leider sehr unangenehm. Da ich den Termin meiner Anreise, wegen Krankheit nicht antreten konnte , bestand das Hotel bei meinem Umbuchungsversuch auf eine Woche später darauf, zuerst die vollständigen Stornogebühren zu bezahlen. Die Lage ist hervorragend, das gesamte Ambiente 80er Style. Soweit erwartbar, soweit okay. Bis auf zwei Mitarbeiterinnen, deren Freundlichkeit wirklich zauberhaft war, besticht das restliche Team in beeindruckender Weise durch Unfreundlichkeit, Renitenz und völlig unangemessenem Auftreten. Wer es liebt konsequent gemaßregelt, verbessert, beleidigt und in zutiefst unnötige Diskussionen verwickelt zu werden, kommt hier definitiv auf seine Kosten. Eine verlässliche Adresse für jeden/jede der die schönen und leichten Seiten des Lebens vermeiden möchte.

Wir waren ursprünglich zum Camping Urlaub in Hamburg und sind vor dem Regenwetter geflüchtet und haben spontan und Last Minute ein Hotelzimmer über booking.com im Landhaus Carstens gebucht. Unser geräumiges Zimmer befand sich im Nebengebäude. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen oder zu bemängeln, alles war alles sauber und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Landhaus liegt in direkter Strandnähe und ein paar Minuten von der Fußgängerzone entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter waren stets sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Es gab sogar eine kleine Geburtstags Überraschung am Frühstückstisch für meine Frau. Wir fanden es auch eine tolle Sache, dass man sich das Frühstück den Tag zuvor per "Bestellzettel" auswählen soll und es dann per Etagere an den Tisch gebracht wird. Zudem gibt es kleines Buffet mit Cerealien und frischem Brot. Mit unserem Bulli haben wir aufgrund der Höhe nicht in die Tiefgarage gepasst. Vor dem Nebengebäude gibt es Stellplätze, Kosten allerdings zusätzlich 20€/Tag. Wir können das Landhaus Carstens auf jeden Fall empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Landhaus Carstens gefeiert und hätten uns keine schönere Location wünschen können. Es war einfach alles genauso, wie wir es uns vorgestellt habe, liebevoll organisiert, wunderschön gestaltet und mit einer rundum angenehmen Atmosphäre. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das überaus engagierte und unglaublich freundliche Personal. Man hat jederzeit gemerkt, mit wie viel Herzblut hier gearbeitet wird. Wir und unsere Gäste haben uns vom ersten Moment an bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für diesen unvergesslichen Tag, wir würden uns jederzeit wieder für das Landhaus Carstens entscheiden!

Groß, geräumiges Schwimmbad, gutes Frühstück und nah am Wasser 💦 🏖️

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend im Landhaus Carstens, eine hervorragende Spargelsuppe gefolgt von einem Rumpsteak in außerordentlicher Qualität. Ein immer noch schönes Ambiente und einen super aufmerksamen Service. Wir bedanken uns und freuen uns auf das nächste Mal.

Ein Lokal wie von früher. Wir waren zur Familienfeier mit Kaffe und Kuchen dort. Sehr guter und freundlicher Service, das Personal spricht gut artikuliert (und nicht wie in anderen Lokalen im Ghettorapper-Style). Klassisches Ambiente, tolle Torten und Süßspeisen. Hinweis an die Küche: bitte nochmal die Zutatenliste auf Allergene (Mandeln) genau prüfen.

Wir waren seit bestimmt zehn Jahren Stammgäste im Restaurant, jedesmal so zwischen 14 und 15 Uhr an Sonn- oder Feiertagen, manchmal auch unter der Woche. Plötzlich heißt es, warme Küche gäbe es erst ab 16 Uhr, außer Sonn- und Feiertags, da ab 12 Uhr. Nun war gestern zufällig ein Feiertag (1. Mai), aber: Küche zu. Wegen unermesslichen Reichtums geschlossen? Nicht sehr gastfreundlich. Zwei Sterne für die vergangenen Jahre. Und zwei Stammgäste weniger.

Haben nur das Restaurant besucht und das ist Spitze

Hallo liebe Gäste, ich war mit meiner im Landhaus für ein Wochenende im Kurzurlaub. Sehr empfehlenswert! Warum: Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die aktuelle Rezeptionsleitung Tim. Überaus höflich, gastfreundlich & hilfsbereit! Im frühmorgendlichen Küchenteam wurden wir stets freundlich empfangen. Das Reinigungsteam war ebenso freundlich und für unsere Wünsche empfänglich! Die Zimmer im Haupthaus waren abgelegen ruhig, sauber und angenehm großzügig plus Babybett. Der Poolbereich ist für Kinder (aktuell bis 6 Jahre) spaßig und auch für Gäste nebenher benutzbar. Summasomarum: top! Ich möchte diese „Boutique-Hotel“ wärmstens empfehlen und finde persönlich den altehrwürdigen Charme sehr beruhigend!

Tolles altes Haus mit sehr guten Speisen

Wir waren für ein Wochenende Anfang März da. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick und zusätzlicher Schlafcouch, sodass unsere Tochter problemlos mit uns im Zimmer schlafen konnte. In der Tiefgarage (12 Euro pro Nacht) sind zwei Stellplätze mit Wallbox. Einmal Aufladen kostet pauschal 25 Euro. Das Frühstück war hervorragend.

Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Alles wurde erklärt und es blieben keine Fragen offen. Das Zimmer in der Dependance war für uns mit Hund völlig ausreichend incl. Hundedecke, Napf und Leckerlis. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt war die Beleuchtung, etwas dunkel. Selbst zum Frühstück konnte unser Hund mit. Sehr ruhig gelegen und doch zentral. Selbst bei der Abreise wurden wir noch gefragt ob wir Hilfe benötigen unsere Koffer ins Auto zu bringen. Die Reinigung der Zimmer wird sehr gut gemacht. Einfach mal ein Lob auch an dieses Personal. Insgesamt sind alle Angestellten sehr freundlich und machten unseren Aufenthalt zwischen Weihnachten und Neujahr zu einen schönen Erlebnis.

Wir waren heute zu Gast im Restaurant Landhaus Carstens. Zum Glück hatten wir schon vor Wochen von zuhause aus reserviert. Der erste Eindruck war sehr positiv, schönes Ambiente und die Tische waren weihnachtlich dekoriert. Alle Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gleich am Eingang wurden uns die Jacken abgenommen und zur Garderobe gebracht. Wo gibt es das heute noch? Nachdem man uns den Tisch zugewiesen hatte, brachte man uns gleich eine Decke, damit unser Hund nicht auf dem harten Fußboden liegen muss. Das hatten wir so auch noch nie erlebt. Die Speisen waren alle sehr lecker und von hoher Qualität. Das zog sich von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert durch, nie wurden unsere Erwartungen enttäuscht. Gerne wären wir am morgigen zweiten Weihnachtstag noch einmal eingekehrt, nur ist das Restaurant so beliebt, dass es leider keinen freien Tisch gab.

Leider noch keine Bewertung. Aufgrund Ruhetag war keine Reservierungmöglich. Schade. Aber beim nächsten Besuch in Timmendorfer Strand schon vorgemerkt...

Overall, a lovely hotel! 👍 Great location: Just a few meters from the beach, the beach promenade, and the pedestrian zone!☀️👍 Some rooms have a view of the Baltic Sea, and you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise in the morning (main building). During our current stay, we had a spacious room (in the main building) with a view of the Flamingo Hotel, but the mattresses were quite uncomfortable; the bathroom was a bit dated, and there was no air conditioning (not necessary in the fall or winter, but in the summer, when it certainly gets very hot). There is (unfortunately) no elevator. Beautiful wellness area with a sauna, pool, and whirlpool; I particularly like the pool here.👍 Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast served at your table (you choose what you want for breakfast beforehand) and it's served accordingly.☕👌 In the evening, you can enjoy a very good meal in the restaurant.👌Reserving a table in advance is definitely recommended. Dogs are allowed (they're also allowed in the restaurant and for breakfast).👍 Overall, the price is relatively high, which is probably mainly due to the good location. There's an underground garage and a few parking spaces (each for an extra charge). There are also public parking spaces on the street in front of the hotel, but these only require a parking permit.

We had a wonderful one-week stay at the Hotel Landhaus Carstens in Timmendorfer Strand and can recommend it without reservation. ​The reception was extremely friendly, and the staff took excellent care of us, obligingly fulfilling all our wishes. ​The unbeatable central yet quiet location is particularly noteworthy. The hotel is the ideal starting point for all activities in Timmendorfer Strand. Bike rentals, Sea Life, the pier, the promenade, and the entire town center are all within easy walking distance. ​After a day at the beach or on excursions, the beautiful spa area with a swimming pool, whirlpool, and sauna was a welcome way to relax. The breakfast was very pleasant and provided a perfect start to the day. ​Overall, we have fond memories of the Hotel Landhaus Carstens and would gladly return. A perfect place for a relaxing holiday on the Baltic Sea!

Great spa area, breakfast is served, very tasty and service excellent, rooms very clean but a bit dated, extremely dog-friendly, generally a recommendable hotel for an all-round successful holiday.

Was there food and that was mega delicious

Too expensive, too unfriendly, and the chef is in charge. If you want a nice evening, I'd recommend going at 5 pm. The kitchen closes at 9 pm, and they start cleaning up at 8 pm. Appetizer and main course in 15 minutes because the chef wants to go home. I'd look elsewhere.

Went for dinner, the prices were on the high side but it was delicious

We had reserved a table at the restaurant for 6 p.m. When we made the reservation, we were told there were two dining times: 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The service was attentive and the food delicious. When we wanted to order dessert at 7 p.m., we were asked if we could do it in 15 minutes. Then we would have to vacate the table. That's impossible. If I had known that when I reserved the table, I wouldn't have booked.

Last year, before Christmas Eve, I went to Timmendorfer Strand for the first time with my girlfriend and stayed at Landhaus Carstens for three days. We were both absolutely thrilled with our room, the spa area (pool), the delicious breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, the daily homemade cookies (you can even buy dog biscuits) at reception, the friendly staff, the top location, and the overall warm atmosphere of this beautiful hotel. 😍 I was back here again at the beginning of August 2025. This time with my boyfriend, just for breakfast. 😍😋 He also really liked the country house in its prime location by the sea. It's only a few minutes' walk to the town center. I've already booked another Christmas weekend with my girlfriend for December, and we're really looking forward to it. I can 100% recommend Landhaus Carstens. 👍🫶😍

What a fantastic hotel, which we booked at relatively short notice. The surprise when we arrived was all the greater and more wonderful: spacious rooms (minor criticism: ours was a little noisy in the evening), delicious and seasonal food in the in-house restaurant (we had chanterelle mushrooms and there were many types of fish), and, above all, a swimming pool with a wellness area that is very well-maintained and modern. The hotel is also very, very close to the beach. We felt at home at all times. The reception staff, in particular, were accommodating and made many of our little wishes come true. Thank you for that! We didn't expect our short vacation to be so great. P.S. A small plus point for those afraid of wasps (like me): there were almost no wasps at all because the hotel uses a special smoke to kill them during meals ;)

I've been to Carstens Restaurant a few times, and I have to say, it was fantastic! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff were friendly and attentive, and dog-friendly. The menu offered a variety of delicious dishes, and I chose the plaice, which was absolutely delicious. The portion was generous, and the presentation was very appetizing. The service was excellent; our waitress was very friendly and helped us choose our dishes. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service was simply top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant! If you're looking for a restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food, then this is the place for you.

Tolles Essen und sehr freundlicher Service. Die Karte ist nicht sehr groß, aber für jeden etwas dabei. Die Terrasse ist absolut gemütlich und die Tische nicht zu eng gestellt.

I can't say anything about the rooms; we just enjoyed the restaurant. And it was simply excellent. Everything was just perfect.

I've just returned from another weekend at Landhaus Carstens and was once again extremely satisfied. Excellent food, exceptional service, a fantastic beach location, and a cozy bar.

We took a short break for a few days in Timmendorfer Strand and chose the Landhaus Carstens. A very fine hotel with fantastic service! Rooms: It's worth mentioning that the beds are very comfortable, and they even thought of providing a pillow for back and side sleepers. There's a minibar with very good prices and a wide selection. The bathroom has everything you need daily, including great shower gels and a few other extras like a hairdryer, nail file, sewing kit, and much more. Service: The service deserves special praise! Whether at the reception or at breakfast, everyone has a friendly smile and is very chatty, which makes your day. Whether you have questions or need anything, you'll be helped. Cleanliness: We've stayed at many hotels and have often been to the Baltic Sea; we really have to applaud the cleanliness here. A+ with a star! There was nothing to complain about. Breakfast: A first-class breakfast. You tell the restaurant's breakfast team what you'd like in the morning and what time you'll arrive. They'll then bring you a tiered stand with a pot of coffee. You can also make special requests! Parking: Timmendorferstrand offers plenty of parking, and the hotel has its own underground parking garage in the neighboring building. Spa & Wellness: Everything your heart desires is there, whether it's a whirlpool, waterfall, relaxing music, a counter-current system, or a sauna. Various features in the pool can be activated with a button, for example. The sauna is large and comfortable, well separated from the pool for privacy. Simply fantastic. Conclusion: If you want a cozy hotel right on the beach, right in the center of the promenade, and value service and cleanliness, this is the place! I had a wonderful, relaxing short break :)

We've been here for a week. We had a room with a sea view. The room was very clean and the staff super friendly, and the spa area is also fantastic. There's nothing to complain about at breakfast either; it's served at your table. We received a menu the day before where we could indicate what we wanted. There's everything your heart desires. Overall, we were very satisfied and have nothing to complain about. If we come back to the Baltic Sea, we'll definitely stay at Landhaus Carsten.

I'm on a hike along the Green Belt. And I also made a detour to Timmendorfer Strand. The reservation by phone was quick, unproblematic, and very friendly. It's a hotel in the 80s style, and the rooms are also showing their age. But everything was very well-maintained and clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed because it was a day off. But the young man at the reception desk in the afternoon was very friendly and helpful and reserved us a table at a restaurant he knew. Thank you for that. In the morning, the exact opposite happened to the previous day. We had to fill out a form for breakfast the evening before. Not a problem, and not unusual either. When I arrived at my table, an older waitress told me to write down the number of items and not crosses. In a tone of rudeness, it's harmless, especially since there's no indication of this on the form. I assume that with a double room, it's probably clear that it's for two people. The lady also deliberately avoided us; you had to call or wave, almost begging for coffee. Simply impossible. Checking out was the same; the gentleman didn't even bother to say thank you and goodbye at the reception. Also impossible. It's a shame, since we'll be staying in Timmendorfer for two more days on our way back. But not at Hotel Carstens anymore. It's not an excuse for a lack of staff; it's better to have no staff and do it ourselves!

We had a great short vacation on the Baltic Sea. The room, the view of the Baltic Sea, the pool area, the friendliness of the staff… everything was very good 👍

We only ate in the restaurant and that's the only criticism for that. We remembered it as a good restaurant, but today it was a total disappointment. The wine from the freezer, the food makes your stomach ache and overall zero points. Sorry, we won't be coming back.

We stayed in an annex to the hotel. Our room was huge, very tasteful and clean. The main house is also beautifully decorated and we had the fantastic wellness area all to ourselves. Breakfast is brought to the table, which means there is no buffet rush. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and, contrary to our experiences in other wellness hotels, our 3-year-old daughter was also very welcome. To top it off, jackets that were left in the closet were sent to me free of charge. We are very grateful for the wonderful time in this great hotel!

Rarely have I had such a great house. Plus the first-class service, the rich breakfast, the delicious dishes in the evening and always the best service 👍 👌 👍 👌 👍 👌 👍 again and again 😀😃

Today we just ate in the restaurant with our two small children (2+4 years). We didn't feel welcome. The reception by a gentleman was very friendly, but the lady who served us didn't seem particularly pleased. The children were given something to paint which was very friendly. First of all there was bread + butter, which can really be a treat for the palate, even with salt. But we didn't feel that way. The food was OK, but not worth the money in our opinion. We've eaten better for the price. The (children's) schnitzel and the plaice were very tasty, but we make the side dishes (boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes and the frozen vegetables peas and carrots) better at home. On that Sunday evening we only saw three occupied tables, each with older couples. We like to go to high-quality restaurants, even with our children, but in our opinion this one only gives the impression. Unfortunately the food doesn't come with it.

We weren't in the main house, but on the opposite side of the street, which was fine with us. We had an underground parking space for a fee, which was very pleasant. The rooms were good and very large and clean. The breakfast was great. The staff helpful.

Das Essen war modern angerichtet und sehr lecker. Der Service war äußerst zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Rundherum gelungenes Essen. Preislich vielleicht etwas höher als die umliegenden Restaurants und Deko (auch wenn in dem Laden sehr stimmig) etwas veraltet. Trotzdem absolut empfehlenswert!

We spent a wonderful short break there and were absolutely thrilled. The location, the service, and the pool were all perfect. We also liked the way the breakfast was served on tiered trays, so you always got exactly what you ordered and no precious food was wasted from the buffet. If you wanted, you could reorder anything. We were completely satisfied.

We were guests in the hotel and felt completely comfortable. Attentive staff. Not the newest interior but everything is well maintained and comfortable. Particularly noteworthy is the restaurant with excellent cuisine. Gladly again.

Das Essen war erstklassig und besonders hervorzuheben war der Service, was man ja leider in letzter Zeit nicht immer so findet. Alle Angestellten waren erstklassig. Stellvertretend möchte ich „meine“ Kellnerin nennen. Julia war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Sie hat mit ihrer sympathischen, zurückhaltenden und professionellen Art für eine rundum angenehme Atmosphäre gesorgt. Ich komme bestimmt wieder!

We stayed at Landhaus Carstens this weekend. It was a very warm welcome, rarely experienced like this. Wellness area top. Clean, warm and well maintained. Breakfast was completely sufficient and good. Everything is freely selectable and wishes are catered for. Staff very friendly, accommodating and small complaints are responded to immediately. It's been a few times and I always enjoy the constantly changing and thoughtfully combined compositions. The ambience and flair is always a pleasant, soothing and warm-hearted place paired with friendly and expert service and excellent food. This time, lobster bisque, ox cheek and duck breast were on our selection and again it was a real treat. Thank you very much and see you again soon.

Dejligste sted i Timmendorfer Strand. Var på hotellet for 6. Gang og har et meget serviceminded personale. Værelserne er altid flot rengjort og hvis man værlger dependence er værelset ekstra stort. Vi kan kun varmt anbefale hotellet og på alle tider af året 😋

We were lured by the advertisement for Thier beer and were not disappointed. Unfortunately, we were still very full from breakfast at our hotel and couldn't try the food. As expected, the beer was excellent and the Aperol was also very good. A very traditional restaurant in a positive sense. The waitresses were very attentive and, among other things, hung up the jackets for older guests. Unfortunately, this is something we rarely experience these days.

Excellent quality of food and cakes. Old school friendly staff! Our family has been meeting here every now and then for many years and we will definitely stay loyal.

We had booked the junior suite annex. Very nice, the view was also beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty. Staff was very friendly.

Vi havde 5 overnatninger på stedet, som virkede lidt “søvnig”. Værelset med balkon og udsigt til vandet var pænt og rent, men ikke mere end det. Der manglede kaffekapsler til Nespresso Maskinen, som vi selv måtte hente i receptionen. Stedet har et super dejligt svømmebassin i kælderen. Og saunaen er stor og rummelig. Spa’en var en anelse til de kolde side, og var placeret i samme lokale som svømmebassinet. Betjeningen var, med få undtagelser, gennemsnitlig og vi havde forventet mere. Dog skal en af de ansatte, som serverede morgen maden de første 3 dage, have ros. Meget smilende og serviceminded. Ellers var det første vi så til god service, da vi checkede ud, hvor en ansat tilbød at bære vores bagage ud til bilen. Det kan man jo så tænke lidt over 😂 Vi havde et godt ophold, men næste gang vi skal til Timmendorfer Strand, finder vi et andet sted at overnatte.

This was my second time here and my parents had been here much more often. It is really a beautiful holiday destination. The service staff is always super friendly, whether at the reception, at breakfast or at dinner. The rooms are very nice and always clean upon arrival. The wellness area is modern and offers an oasis of well-being. The location is unique, two minutes from the beach, so if you open the window you can hear the sound of the sea. Absolutely recommended to vacation here!

Nice but a bit outdated hotel, especially in the old part. Swimming pool very nice and warm! Breakfast at the table is very tasty and has everything you want! The location is great as you are immediately on the beach and in the city. Overall it's nice and we love coming here!

Even if our daughter was probably forgotten as a guest. So this was quickly changed with regard to an extra bed and towels.

We were happy to tip 15 for the dedicated young man in service today! He was really great! Unfortunately, he always had to apologize because his team from the kitchen didn't want to or couldn't deliver. There is no longer any trace of the old class of M. F., who led the restaurant to fine dining. What's left of it? Unfortunately nothing! It was okay. But a kitchen that can't swap baked potatoes for potato gratin is disappointing, even though both are offered on the menu. And then a roulade-thick rump steak without a fat edge comes to the guest's table. What's going on here?

Had dinner there this week. Restaurant pretty empty at 8 p.m. But first you had to see if there was still a table available 🤔. Rump steak is completely overpriced and very tiny. No salt and pepper at the table. Not very appealing.

We are currently here as a young couple with our two dogs for a long weekend. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. The location is wonderful. Treats, blankets, bowls and other attention awaited the two dogs upon arrival. The staff couldn't be more attentive. Everyone is very friendly, accommodating. Dogs are also very welcome here and are treated wonderfully. The rooms are very clean and rustically furnished. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We've been there for a week now. A very nice hotel, cozy and nothing is missing. Great breakfast served at the table, no crowds at the buffet. Special praise goes to the entire staff, from service to reception to cleaning. We felt very comfortable and will be back next year.

The dignified exterior facade promises a cozy, stylish ambience. And that's how it is inside too. Very nice reception and courteous help with carrying luggage and parking the car. The rooms are pleasantly spacious. Nothing is missing. Unfortunately there is no elevator, which is inconvenient for older people. Otherwise there is an exquisite breakfast, even on the garden terrace when the weather is good. The staff is particularly attentive and approachable. Because of the exposed location to the beach, the price is ok. We'd love to come back.

We celebrated our wedding at Landhaus Carstens in May this year and are grateful to have found this beautiful location. In a small group (17 guests) we spent a relaxing day in the festively decorated fireplace room. We particularly liked the uncomplicated and open nature of Ms. Kühnau and Ms. Valentin, who made everything possible and left nothing to be desired. The service staff and the kitchen staff are also very friendly and helpful. The collaboration with the in-house pastry chef, who baked a beautiful wedding cake, and with the recommended florist, who prepared the bridal bouquet and the table decoration, went hand in hand. We chose the food from the seasonal daily menu, which catered to every taste and fulfilled small special requests without any problem. A big thank you again for EVERYTHING and many more satisfied guests :-) We would be happy to come back and are already looking forward to the next visit. Sabine and Alexander

Very tasty food Perfect for people who love green asparagus

We didn't stay at the Landhaus, but had an excellent dinner in their garden restaurant. The chicken breast was delicious. After trying to wait out a strong thunderstorm, they were kind enough to lend us umbrellas to walk home. Many many thanks.

Very nicely located, cozy with very friendly service. The matjes were a poem. This is how it should be at all restaurants in Timmendorf. But unfortunately it isn't. 👍😉

Wir sind zufällig auf dieses wunderbare Restaurant gestoßen! Am 1.Abend hatten wir nur Vorspeisen und waren sowohl von der Qualität des Essen, dem Ambiente im Innenhof und dem freundlichen Service so begeistert, dass wir für den nächsten Abend nochmal reserviert haben. Abermals wurden wir nicht enttäuscht, ich habe z B. Noch nie so eine feine Kalbsleber gegessen...so einen erstklassigen Service mit ganz viel Charme und Aufmerksamkeit findet man heute kaum noch!! Gern kommen wir wieder!

Unfortunately, the “old” part of the hotel is already getting a bit old. The location is great, on the water and central. The swimming pool is nice, especially with pleasantly warm water where you can stay for a few hours! Breakfast is not a classic buffet but is served. We actually really liked it and nothing was left to be desired!

We were there to eat...so I can't say anything about the hotel...the Esden was very good, as was the service.

A great boutique hotel close to the beach

Last Friday we went to the bar/beer parlor at Landhaus Carstens with friends from Cologne for football. Service was unqualified, unfriendly and sometimes rude. Food completely overpriced and a bratwurst was called currywurst. Our friends had a double room with a sea view for 1 week for 240 euros per night including breakfast - breakfast and service were also catastrophic. Last year in May everything was great - apparently there is a new hotel manager who comes from the neighboring 0-star Maritim Hotel. It's actually a shame for the Huth family...

Fantastic ambience in such surroundings! Beautiful organization of a family birthday party, we were looked after excellently and were able to enjoy excellent food. All around successful day!

Very good location, on the edge of the spa park, close to the beach, good service, large and clean rooms also in the annex, parking spaces on site or in the underground car park, delicious food in the restaurant or on the large terrace.

Freundliches Personal führt zu einem Tisch im Innenhof. Das Ambiente stimmt! Auf Wunsch beraten die Herrschaften und geben Empfehlungen zu Speis und Trank. Die Küche und die Bedienung sind flott, aber nie hektisch. Der Mittagstisch hat uns veranlasst, zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt auch das Abendessen hier einzunehmen. Es hat alles gepasst! Wir kommen gerne wieder ...

So the level of service and the quality of the food is wonderful. The wine was top and the cod fillet with the sauerkraut and mashed potatoes was world class. Recommended

Ein gar ganz großartiges Hotel. Gediegen. Ruhig. Dezenter aber aufmerksamer Service. Gemütliche und geräumige Zimmer. Tolle Küche. Stets sehr freundlich. Auch der Wellness und Pool Bereich ist sehr schön.

Zufällig sind wir hier vorbeigekommen und brachten auch richtig Hunger mit. Schon beim Eintreten wurden wir vom geschulten Personal an einen Tisch geführt. Alles macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Die Karte bietet klassische deutsche Küche. Wir wählten origin. Wiener Schnitzel mit Gurckensalat und Bratkartoffeln. Das andere Gericht wurde Dorsch auf Kartoffel-/Sauerkrautpürree mit frischen Marktgemüse (keine TK-Ware). Der Dorsch war mit krosser Haut auf dem Punkt. Mit dem Dijon-Senf war dieses Gericht sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Zu meinem Wiener Schnitzel habe ich selten so einen leckeren Gurckensalat gegessen. Das Schnitzel war mit Blasen in der Penade wie es sein muß. Auch hier alles perfekt. Der empfohlene Grauburgunder passte ganz ausgezeichnet. Der Service war nett und freundlich. Ein Mittagstisch in ruhiger gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Wir kommen wieder.

Ein wunderschönes, familiäres Hotel. Sehr freundliches,zuvorkommendes, angagiertes Personal. Eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir genießen die Ruhe und kommen immer wieder sehr gerne hierher.

Wir waren mit der Familie zu einem Kurzurlaub hier. Von der freundlichen Begrüßung bis zur Abreise bei der noch ein vergessener Schal postalisch nachgesendet wurde war alles sehr angenehm. Das Wetter war januartypisch nicht sehr einladend. Umso öfter waren wir im Wellnessbereich mit einer große Sauna, Schwimmbad, Whirlpool. Sauberkeit ist hier kein Problem. Von den Umkleiden bis zum Ruheraum haben wir alles genutzt und entspannt. Frühstück sucht man sich im Voraus aus, also kein klassisches Buffet. Nachordern ist kein Problem und vermutlich werden dadurch auch weniger Lebensmittel weggeworfen. Wir werden wiederkommen. Vielen Dank dem netten Team von Landhaus Carsten! Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit!

Als Besucher von FeWo`s in der Lübecker Bucht, ist uns das Landhaus Carstens natürlich auch ein Begriff. Nun hatten wir hier zum ersten Mal eine Buchung für ein Zimmer, in der gegenüberliegenden Dependance vorgenommen und waren höchst zufrieden. Das Zimmer war nicht nur sehr hell und geräumig, sondern auch inkl. Bad gut eingerichtet. Ein Stellplatz befand sich direkt vor dem Haus. Das Frühstück wurde im Haupthaus (Landhausstil) eingenommen und wurde nach zur Wahl stehenden Angeboten vorbereitet und an den Tisch gebracht. Die Gefahr bestand eher darin, dass man sich bei der gebotenen Auswahl, zu viel "wünschte". Wir hatten es aber gut hinbekommen. Überrascht waren wir von dem großzügigen Wellnessbereich des Hauses, den auch wir - als Dependance Gäste nutzen konnten. Bademantel und Badelatschen (Frottee) gehörten zur Zimmerausstattung. Das Betreten des Wellnessbereiches, hatten wir über die Nutzung von Umkleideraum mit Umkleidekabine und abschließbaren Schrank getestet und für gut befunden. Für das Duschen vorweg oder danach, befand sich eine Dusche in diesem Bereich. Weitere aber auch noch in dem schön angelegten Saunabereich, der nach Anmeldung genutzt werden konnte. Das relativ große Schwimmbad plus Whirlpool, verfügte aber auch noch über eine Dusche. Alles in Allem zwei herausragende Tage bei gemischtem Wetter - ohne Punktabzug, für das - nach unserem Eindruck - sehr gut geführte Landhaus Carstens, deren Zimmer wir aber im Haupthaus nicht kennengelernt hatten.

Alles top!!! Service von der 1.bis zur letzten Minute des Aufenthaltes. Geräumige, helle Zimmer, lecker Frühstück, sehr schöner Wellnessbereich mit Schwimmbad und Sauna. Lage klasse, direkt an Strandpromenade und am Meer. Super Kurzurlaub. Da kommt man gerne wieder.

Gediegene aber sehr ansprechende Atmosphäre ! Essen sehr zu empfehlen. Die Preise moderat und angemessen

Hochpreisig aber sehr sehr lecker. Für gehobene Ansprüche bestens geeignet.
