The schnitzel was ok, a little too dry, the fried potatoes were good. The turkey steak was soooo dry, the baked potato was completely white and tasteless and the garlic bread was hard and dry. That was really nothing! The service was very nice and attentive.

We went there for coffee in the afternoon. The coffee was delicious and the service was so nice that we were there for dinner two days later. A short-term reservation was no problem at all and the service was great. The food was great. My husband is from the north and says it was the best kale he's ever eaten, the fried potatoes were crispy, just as they should be. My venison goulash was super tender. When we're up here again, we'll be happy to come back. Highly recommended.

The man in the red sweater asked a very indiscreet question and I can probably be chauffeured about it. How your guests can find each other in the kitchen is a mystery to me. Everything is very well described and you can also find the toilet. So I don't need help going to the toilet, I'm sorry for you. The problem is that you would like to be premium, but unfortunately you aren't and we'll be giving your restaurant a wide berth from now on. After these very bad answers and comments, I am not willing to return to this restaurant and would like to warn all guests about this owner. Due to the owner's lack of insight and snooty attitude, I'm only giving this one star because it wasn't worth more.

Sitting nicely on the terrace, eating and drinking delicious food. The fried potatoes were freshly made with bacon and onions, just as I know them from the Rhineland. The white wine offered was also excellent.

hallo war gestern um 15 01 Uhr im Filou und wollte schnell noch von dem Mittagstisch das Seelachsfilet genießen,der Kellner (ziemlich groß und unfreundlich)sagte es wäre schin 1515 Uhr und zu spät für den Mittagstisch.. ganz schlechter Service...Brauch man nicht mehr hingehen..gibt genug bessere Restaurants.. beste Grüße

Your colleague brought a new knife immediately after we dropped a knife on the floor, and all the service staff were extremely polite. The food was also very good. Whether schnitzel or matjes, everything was very tasty. The prices are not cheap, but they are within the price range of the place. Only the ambience doesn't really match the quality of the food and this top service. It's quite cozy, but has something of a 90s pub feel to it. That's exactly why it's important to know. Don't be put off by the ambience, just stop by and enjoy.

Outdoors is great, but at the moment (beginning of March) it is very cool. I find the interior not very contemporary and it smells unpleasantly of food. We only treated ourselves to a cake with a hot drink (spelled cherry crumble with cream and apple cake). The cherry crumble left a lot to be desired. A lot of dough, very little kirsch and the spray cream from a can for €1.50 didn't excite me. The team is great, very attentive, very fast and friendly!!!

Vor lauter Begeisterung haben wir leider verpasst, die Rechnung vor Ort zu überprüfen. Zu Hause mussten wir feststellen, dass ein Dessert mit berechnet worden ist, das wir weder bestellt noch verzehrt hatten. Das trübt natürlich den ansonsten sehr guten Eindruck. Wirklich schade!

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant. Normalerweise bin ich im Sommer da, wenn man schön draussen sitzen kann. Nun war ich das erste Mal im Winter da. Auch drinnen sitzt es sich sehr gemütlich. Die saisonale Karte als auch der Kuchen sind wirklich lecker. Der Service war sehr freundlich und erkundigte sich mehrfach unaufgefordert nach unseren Wünschen.

Sehr nettes Personal, Essen und Getränke sehr schnell serviert. Selbst von den "Kleinigkeiten" kann man schon gut satt werden. Preise angesichts des Tourismusortes angemessen bis leicht teuer. Vielen Dank!
