Only stayed one night as we were passing through. Arrived late and left early so have not tested anything other than the room itself which was clean and tidy and lived up to our expectations of this hotel. Nice that we were offered coffee when we left early before breakfast!

A convenient hotel near the highway. Only 1.5 hours to Puttgarden, which makes it a suitable stop on our journey to Stockholm. Spacious room and parking garage for only €10.

We've been there for 2 nights now, just to relax. Well located, decent parking garage. Without exception, we received a friendly welcome from the staff (most of them were really warm) and we were in good hands right from the start. It is chic and modernly furnished. The eye finds many small interesting things to look at. Breakfast and a snack in the evening, all very tasty. The big dog was also thought of, all the more important because we forgot the bowl at home. The direct proximity to the castle invites you to take a walk. It's also a great way for lazy people like me to get out into the countryside quickly. Gladly again. Oh yes... the impressive fitness area under the roof should also be mentioned.

We were only there for one night, but we really enjoyed our stay. Initially there was a bit of confusion about our room bookings - but the very friendly receptionist worked really hard and quickly and easily gave us two alternative rooms for us and our children. A great service! The hotel is within walking distance of Ahrensburg Castle and restaurants are just as close. Problem-free parking space in the hotel's underground car park and a rich breakfast rounded off our short visit to the hotel. We recommend!

Price performance is not right. No elevator, everything needs renovation. Apartment cannot be darkened for sleeping. Staircase smells unpleasant. A pity!

Very nice, perfectly located hotel near Hamburg. You can park for free at Ahrensburg train station, from where you can reach the city of Hamburg within 20 minutes. The hotel includes paid parking spaces and an underground car park. Further away, if you search and walk a bit, you can also find free parking spaces. The two of us were there over the weekend. Room (including bathroom) very clean, top furnishings, comfortable bed. Employees were all very accommodating and friendly. We had a really nice stay and would always come back.

A great hotel, great location. The room on the top floor is sloping, but usable. The bed was excellent, finally one that wasn't sagging. The bathroom is small but practical and sparkling clean. The shower might be a little tight for tall and strong people (didn't concern us). Otherwise a pleasure. Breakfast with delicious rolls and very good average. We'd love to come back.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel am Schloss Ahrensburg and were thrilled from start to finish. The outstanding staff impressed us with their extraordinary friendliness and willingness to help, which made our stay particularly pleasant. The entire process was organized in an exemplary manner and the first-class service left nothing to be desired. The rooms were spotlessly clean and offered the highest level of comfort, while the culinary delights were impressive in terms of both taste and quality. Also worth highlighting is the hotel's excellent accessibility, whether by train or car, as well as the underground car park. We can fully recommend this hotel and are already looking forward to our next stay.

I have stayed there twice so far. The first time, I had an older room. That was a bit old in my memory. The second time, I had one of the new rooms. That was tip top! I didn't book breakfast. The connection with public transport is a bit difficult, but basically doable.

All in all quite ok. The breakfast buffet is good. The rolls were fresh, there was a selection of sausage, cheese, fish, cereal, jam and fruit. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. The rooms are friendly furnished, the small skylight is great, which can stay open all the time. The capsule machine is very nice. Bed is clean, mattress comfortable. But: the rooms are VERY noisy. I heard someone talking on the phone in my hallway and no, it wasn't particularly loud. He definitely wasn't right next door either. Nevertheless, I understood every word and didn't even have to make any effort. My room faced the back, but a colleague's room faced the street. Without earplugs she wouldn't have been able to calm down. The shower leaks at the bottom of the door, so half the bathroom is wet after showering. But it seems to be a known problem, as two employees at reception were discussing it. I didn't eat there in the evening; we were fed through our seminar, which also came from the hotel kitchen. The food was average good. Personally, I don't think these tablets for checking in anonymously are that good, but they were a better alternative than the young lady at the counter who seemed very new and very ignorant. The location of the hotel is great, you can reach the castle or the shopping area in 5 minutes, although all shops (except restaurants) close at 6 p.m.

We have been coming to this hotel for many years and are always amazed by the friendliness of all the staff, which goes far beyond the usual professional friendliness. The breakfast is great, there is definitely something for every taste. The hotel bar and the hotel restaurant Söbentein are also highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

The hotel is very modern and very stylishly furnished and designed. All the employees were very nice, Ms. Fur was particularly accommodating, incredibly sweet! Bed was too soft. Hammock. Be careful, attempts are being made to reduce service. Remove the stupid hanging sign on the door otherwise there will be no room service. Room furnishings are a matter of taste. Staff very friendly.

A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The highlight is definitely the food, especially the breakfast. There was something for every taste and the service there was simply great. The rooms were clean and tidy. All in all it was a very nice stay and we will definitely come back!

We found a fine hotel and had an uncomplicated stay. Reception and service were very friendly and catered to all requests. The breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful. There are plenty of underground parking spaces available.

Update 01/24 Was there as part of a major event. Great food, nice service, everything great as always BUT: please do something on the WiFi. The reception was so bad that it was not possible to work properly for almost 4 days. From online video conferences, they all had to be canceled. Update 10/23 The newer rooms are great, including a coffee maker and large TV. 09/23 Great hotel, underground parking available, a bit winding. Very nice service. Lots of little details. Single room not unusual, no sound from the street, no air conditioning, older generation of television, but completely sufficient and with a small balcony. A small refrigerator is clearly missing for longer stays - especially when outside temperatures are high. Breakfast great - small drawback: only a fully automatic coffee machine, but lots of fresh products

Room clean, bed comfortable. Unfortunately it was a bit noisy from the street, so sleeping without ear plugs wasn't possible, at least for me. Unfortunately, the buffet and breakfast haven't quite reached the 20s yet. As a vegetarian you have to make do with side dishes and a manageable selection.

The rooms are also great. However, it was too cold and the thermostats automatically turned down again. Therefore there is a total deduction of one star and two for the rooms. The friendliness of the staff was extremely outstanding.

We (5 people) stayed in the hotel for one night and were very satisfied. There are enough parking spaces in front of the hotel (otherwise €10 in the underground car park). Rooms equipped differently. Single room with balcony and bathroom with shower. Double room, one with a bathtub without a balcony and one with a shower without a balcony. All rooms are very clean and sufficiently large. We didn't use any restaurants and therefore couldn't rate them. We can all recommend this hotel in the region and location with a clear conscience.

Great hotel, very friendly welcome, everyone was very friendly the whole time, great food, we had a 3 course menu, great location. There are several restaurants nearby, the city center is about 10 minutes away on foot, the bus stops right in front of the hotel, but it is also only about 15 minutes on foot to Ahrensburg train station, from there you can go directly to Hamburg in about 20 minutes drive. We would like to come again.

Two days child-free and we went to the “Am Schloss” hotel in Ahrensburg. For professional reasons, we were only able to check in shortly after 10 p.m.... other reviews complained about a short wait at a late hour. That was the case for us too, but we used the 10 minutes to check in; two trays were at the reception for this purpose deposited. This was followed by a very nice welcome and an introduction to the hotel with information. In other assessments, the use of the garage was a controversial topic. From 10 p.m. onwards, the underground car park door must be unlocked by staff when entering. The exit is via chips that can be purchased at reception, but for us it was free to use but we were also informed of this. There is a 22 KW charging station for two electric cars opposite the hotel. The rooms were very well maintained and there was a television. There was probably no air conditioning, but there was a fan which we didn't need in December. A bottle of water was included in our booking and it was also available. Anyone who forgoes an interim cleaning will receive a bottle of water per day on the house. Overall, we were very satisfied, but the beds were probably two single beds next to each other. Maybe we should think about a “love bridge” and a large bed sheet, especially because we had booked a romantic weekend. Unfortunately the bar closed at 11 p.m. but we were suggested to take a drink back to our room. Very tasty beer and a great cocktail rounded off the day. The bar staff made a very nice and professional impression. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, we were very impressed. Everything was refilled immediately, the selection was huge. Tables were clean and were immediately prepared for the next guest even after they left. Here too, everyone was very friendly and you could tell that the team was well coordinated. There was a sauna, a nice terrace and a pair of exercise machines in the upper part of the hotel but we didn't use them. A three-course menu was included in our booking, there was the welcome champagne which we had not used the previous day. Tables were clean and beautifully set, here too a well-rehearsed team with a professional demeanor. Food was very tasty, for whatever reason the first drink was on the house. Check out no problems. The whole thing for €305, plus drinks from the bar. From my review you might notice that we would be happy to recommend the hotel and would be happy to book it again.

Hotel muito aconchegante, decorado com muito bom gosto. Áreas comuns muito funcionais, boa garagem, ótima localização. Quarto espaçoso e confortável. Tudo muito limpo e cheiroso. O quarto estava um pouco frio e não dava para ajustar a temperatura. Muita informação estava apenas em alemão.

Tolles Hotel. Der Eincheckvorgang ist sehr nervig. Man checkt vollständig selber über ein kleines Tablet an der Rezeption ein, obwohl Personal am Tresen steht. Deshalb der Abzug.

Service vor Ort und Aufenthalt super. Buchungsprozesss kann besser sein. Auf der Homepage wird mit Best Preis Garantie geworben. Über Booking war es dennoch billiger (ca. 35€). Beim Kontakt per Mail wollte man mich nicht verstehen. Habe dann letztendlich über Booking gebucht.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Personal war auch freundlich und bemüht.

Sauber , freundlich , perfektes Essen, sehr ansprechend serviert und quantitativ hochwertig , Frühstück etwas zu laut , da viele Menschen auf relativ engem Raum waren . Das Hotel hatte herausragende Möblierung in den Gängen . Es hat mir extrem gut gefallen . Duschen zu klein und Waschbecken zu hoch . Der Fitness und Saunabereich klein aber ausreichend .

Ein wirklich sehr schönes 3* Hotel mit eigener Tiefgarage. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön modern eingerichtet. Bad mit Dusche/WC. Jedes Zimmer scheint über eine Kapsel Kaffeemaschine zu verfügen. Bei uns waren auch jeweils 2 Kapseln pro Zimmer inklusive. Das Personal an der Rezeption war beim Check-In und Check-Out sehr nett. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und auch der Service da sehr nett. Das Buffet wurde regelmäßig aufgefüllt. Sogar eine Maschiene die Pancake's auf Knopfdruck macht war zu finden. So kann der Tag starten. Die Betten im Zi mer waren sehr bequem. Die Tiefgarage auch groß genug für ein größeres SUV. Wenn Ahrensburg, dann hier.

Sauberes Hotel, etwas verwinkelt. Nachts könnte es etwas unruhig sein, da sich andere Gäste wenig ruhig verhalten. Ein Zimmer, grosses Bett für eine Person gutes liegen. Bad etwas klein aber ok

Sehr schöne, gepflegte und saubere Zimmer in ruhiger Lage und mit kleinem Balkon. Top Lage direkt in der Altstadt von Ahrensburg mit fußläufiger Entfernung zum Schloß und zum Bahnhof von dem man im 30 min. Takt auch nach Hamburg kommt. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das frühstück könnte etwas mehr Auswahl bieten ist aber von der qualität her auch empfehlenswert! Das Preis-/leistungsverhältnis insgesamt passt auch - ca. 120€ pro Nacht zu zweit, frühstück 15,50€ pro Person, Tiefgarage 10€ pro Nacht. Sauna 6€ pro Person mit vorheriger Anmeldung (30min. Vorher zum aufheizen).

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Melina an der Rezeption empfangen, die mit ihrer Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft den perfekten Start für unseren Aufenthalt bot. Die Räumlichkeiten des Hotels sind äußerst ansprechend gestaltet und verströmen ein wunderbares Ambiente. Die moderne Einrichtung verleiht dem Hotel einen Hauch von Eleganz, der sich durch das gesamte Gebäude zieht. Das Buffet im Hotel am Schloss verdient besondere Erwähnung. Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Die Zimmer waren gut eingerichtet und die Betten waren bequem. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett und freundlich. Im Restaurant sind wir sehr gut verpflegt worden und die Betreuung durch das Personal war hervorragend. Wir können das Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Tolles modernes und gepflegtes Hotel. Netter Service, sehr sauber und kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten inmitten ruhiger Lage. In der Umgebung befinden sich viele Restaurants und man ist über die Autobahn recht schnell in Lübeck, oder auch am Timmendorfer Strand. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren beruflich im Hotel am Schloss in Ahrensburg. Sehr empfehlenswert. Die Lage ist super, man hat alles im Haus, was man für einen Workshop benötigt. Der Service war durchweg super. Ich wüsste nichts, was den Aufenthalt noch besser hätte machen können. Vielen Dank!

Ein sehr schönes Hotel. Die vielen kleinen liebevollen Details machen den Aufenthalt zu einem Erlebnis. Wir haben uns von Beginn an sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden sehr ❤️ lich empfangen und wurden auch im Restaurant sehr zuvorkommend bedient. Wir waren 3 Tage im Comfortzimmer untergebracht und haben bei Abreise gleich den nächsten Aufenthalt gebucht.

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, im atemberaubenden Hotel am Schloss zu übernachten, und ich kann mit voller Überzeugung sagen, dass es eine der besten Erfahrungen war, die ich in einem Hotel gemacht habe. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise wurde ich von einem herausragenden Service und einer unvergleichlichen Gastfreundschaft verwöhnt. Das Hotel selbst ist ein wahres Paradies des Komforts. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit einer einladenden Atmosphäre, die zum Entspannen einlädt. Das Bett war himmlisch bequem und ich konnte mich nach einem langen Tag perfekt erholen. Die Ausstattung im Zimmer war erstklassig und es fehlte an nichts. Alles, was ich brauchte, war vorhanden und funktionierte einwandfrei. Die Sauberkeit und Ordnung in diesem Hotel sind wirklich bemerkenswert, und das ist größtenteils den unglaublichen Hausdamen zu verdanken, die jeden Tag einen fantastischen Job machen. Mein Zimmer war stets makellos sauber und ordentlich, und ich fühlte mich von Anfang an wie zu Hause. Jedes Detail wurde sorgfältig berücksichtigt, und die Hausdamen haben sich immer darum gekümmert, dass es mir an nichts fehlt. Was ich besonders beeindruckend fand, war ihre Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit. Egal zu welcher Tageszeit ich das Hotel verlassen und zurückkehren würde, die Hausdamen begrüßten mich stets mit einem warmen Lächeln und sorgten dafür, dass ich mich willkommen fühlte. Sie waren auch immer bereit, meine Fragen zu beantworten oder besondere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Ihr Kundenservice war einfach herausragend! Die Hausdamen haben sich wirklich um jedes Detail gekümmert, um sicherzustellen, dass mein Zimmer makellos sauber war. Sie haben den Raum jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt, die Handtücher erfrischt und die Bettwäsche sorgfältig gewechselt. Ich war beeindruckt von ihrer Aufmerksamkeit für kleine Details we das ordentliche Arrangieren meiner persönlichen Gegenstände und das Auffüllen der Pflegeprodukte. Vielen Dank für das großartige Erlebnis ! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Waren zum Seminar heute da, das Essen war mega lecker. Das Personal wirklich sehr freundlich. Leider konnte ich mir keine Zimmer anschauen bzg eines Aufenthaltes.

Zum Komfort fehlen Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank auf den Zimmern, Frühstück ist okay. Leider extreme Preiserhöhung bei aktueller Anfrage zu den letzten Aufenthalten, das ist es aus unserer Sicht absolut nicht wert. Für das Geld gibt es deutlich besser gelegene Hotels.

Super top! Leckeres Essen im Restaurant, tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Grandioser Spiegel im Badezimmer und tolle Duschen. Tolle Sitzmöglichkeiten im Hotel und nettes Personal.

Wir durften 2 Nächte in diesem schönen Hotel verbringen und sind hell auf begeistert. Die Überraschung am Abend zu unserem Hochzeitstag war sehr gelungen, wir haben uns gefühlt, wie auf dem berühmten "Traumschiff". Alle Mitarbeiter, sind freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr bemüht. Das gesamte Hotel ist modern, aber warm, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Super Personal! Saubere Hotels und dieser Barkeeper hat eine Gehaltserhöhung verdient!! Er war immer schneller als meine Bestellung!! Freuen uns auf nächstes mal. :-D

Wir waren nun schon zum 2. Mal hier. Das erste Mal über den Jahreswechsel und nun zu Ostern wieder, da es uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Aufgrund einer netten Anekdote während unseres ersten Aufenthaltes, wurden wir beim Einchecken gleich herzlich begrüßt. Im Gespräch mit Frau Fur ergab sich, dass entgegen unserer vorherigen Anfrage, doch ein längerer Aufenthalt möglich war. Flugs war die Verlängerung festgemacht. Der Empfang hatte immer ein nettes Wort für uns. Die Zimmer sind klein aber fein, zweckmäßig und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Den Saunabereich haben wir gern und regelmäßig genutzt. Im gesamten Hotel sieht man bei der Einrichtung und Deko die Liebe zum Detail. Auch die Anbindung mit dem ÖPNV in Richtung Hamburg (mit Nutzung der Hamburg-Card) ließ uns den Aufenthalt entspannt gestalten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Super schönes Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal. Mega tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Auch am Abend konnten wir sehr lecker im Restaurant Söbentein essen. Wir empfehlen das Hotel sehr gerne weiter!

Wunderbares Hotel mitten in Ahrensburg. Nähe zur Ostsee und zu Hamburg... Service gut, Restaurant perfekt, leckeres Essen und gute offene Weine. Es gibt eine schöne Sauna. Und sehr gute Preis Leistung im Verhältnis... Ich komme sicher wieder.

Wir waren mit unserem 2-jährigen Sohn dieses Wochenende zu Gast im Hotel am Schloss Ahrensburg und können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und modern eingerichtet, das Personal herzlich sowie professionell und das Frühstücksbuffet für die Größe des Hauses wirklich fantastisch und qualitativ exzellent! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Ein Kompliment an Sie: Ihre Angestellte, eine junge Dame namens Frau Wrobel (an der Rezeption am 25.02. gegen 11 Uhr, hoffe ich habe den Namen korrekt geschrieben), hat einen hervorragenden und exzellenten Kundenservice erbracht und konnte mir und meinem Anliegen entgegenkommen und helfen. Geschäftlich bedingt bin ich des öfteren hier und ich kann mich nicht beklagen, bin sehr zufrieden und kann das Hotel am Schloss sehr empfehlen. Bitte rekrutieren Sie weitere Persönlichkeiten, welche ein Augen für Kundenservice haben, wie die gute Frau Wrobel, damit stellen sie einen essentiellen Teil ihrer Kundenzufriedenheit sicher. Nettes Hotel, angenehmes Zimmer, freundlicher Service

Nettes, kleines Hotel direkt an einer viel befahrenen Straße gelegen (unbedingt etwas mehr bezahlen und dafür aber ein ruhiges Zimmer zum Garten erhalten!) Das Zimmer ist zweckmäßig, mit einem franz. Balkon versehen, funktionalen Bad, guten Matratzen in den Betten, großem Fernseher ausgestattet. Kostenlose Parkplätze hinter dem Haus. Gutes, schmackhaftes und umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Kleiner Fitnessbereich mit Sauna (+ € 6,-) und Ruheraum. Fazit: Alles in allem ein gutes, gepflegtes Haus mit aufmerksamem Service in angemessenen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Nur, jedoch nicht erwähnenswerte, Kleinigkeiten verhindern den fünften Stern

Sehr schönes hotel und in guter ruhiger lage.das parkhaus ist top und beim empfang sehr freundlich und sauber.die zimmer sind sehr schön und das essen schmeckt wunderbar.

Ein gemütliches Hotel mit einem sehr schönen Ambiente. Was hier wirklich hervorragend ist, ist das freundliche Personal. Wir sind spontan mit Hund angereist und haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Sogar Näpfe und eine Aufmerksamkeit für den Hund standen bereit. Vielen Dank, wir kommen wieder.
