Super delicious food, very nice and courteous service

the steaks are fantastic! There are also great side dishes and salads from the buffet. We were served very friendly. The only negative point: it was really, really warm in the restaurant.

The Taurus restaurant is highly recommended. The food was very, very tasty, we had the Taurus burger and the Taurus steak plate. The side dish and salad buffet complete the overall picture. We'll definitely be back.

Spontaneous visit without reservation. There were two of us but we got a table quickly. Food was absolutely top (rump steak and Taurusburger). Service/staff very pleasant and accommodating. We'd love to come back here when we're up north again.

In diesem Restaurant stimmt einfach alles. Toller Service, hübsch und mit Geschmack eingerichtet und das Essen war top. Das Steak, wunderbar, wie ausgewählt und auch die Beilagen in Buffet Form Extraklasse. Es hat uns alles in Allem einen sehr schönen Abend beschert. Auch das sehr freundliche Personal sticht schon bei der Bestellung heraus. Wir als Einheimische kommen jetzt garantiert öfter auf ein leckeres Abendessen vorbei. Great and plentiful food (including a salad and side dish buffet), very attentive staff and owner, and there was even a piano player with great background music. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, but don't be impatient; not everyone gives up their seat immediately after a while. A definite recommendation from the two of us; the value for money was excellent!

Great ambience, nice service, unfortunately that's it. Champions =Canned Mushrooms! Pork fillet, completely cooked. Fish died twice. There was also a sauce that was reminiscent of barbecue sauce and the broccoli was also cold. Tourist trap. We won't be coming back.

The Taurus impresses with its high-quality food and very friendly service. Some of the dishes are rather expensive, but if you choose a dish from the BBQ section, the salad and starter buffet are included (e.g. with potato gratin). That's really great. Our dishes were all delicious and fresh (only the garlic bread tasted old and dry). We can absolutely recommend the Taurus both in terms of cuisine and service. What takes some getting used to is that the tables are set quite close together and we didn't understand the meaning of the piano music being played very loudly given the already loud noise level. That takes something away from the overall enjoyment. Overall, a great restaurant that I can recommend.

The staff is in great shape and very nice. The boss Klaus takes good care of the well-being of his guests. If you want to eat comfortably and well in Heiligenhafen, this is the place for you. We went there spontaneously and without a reservation, having originally planned to eat elsewhere. Although the restaurant was fully booked (it should be noted that our visit took place on February 14th), we were very warmly offered a table for two people with only a short waiting time. After a short walk, we were friendly led to our table, where, despite the crowds in the house, we didn't have to wait long for our excellent food. The prices were absolutely reasonable for the extremely high quality offered and the steak and zander fillet were highly recommended. We can also only praise the staff highly, definitely worth a visit.

Great restaurant near the harbor, great ambience, we made a reservation by phone a month in advance for December 29th. for an 8 person. Table. It worked after 15 minutes of waiting. The adults and children enjoyed the food. We've all had enough. Four of us were also able to help ourselves at the buffet beforehand and select our dishes. Service very nice and friendly. Unfortunately the toilets were not hygienically clean, the floors were dirty and wet. And washing your hands afterwards became a wet affair. It sprays too much. I would swap the fittings when choosing the sink. But the ambience in the anteroom of the toilets was great. Thanks for the evening. We would be happy to recommend you.

We were there for the first time today. Luckily we made a reservation for 6 p.m. because the restaurant was busy. I have to say, if there were 10 stars, I would happily give them too. We finally went to Heiligenhafen again for a day trip. When we were looking for the right restaurant for an unforgettable day, we ended up in Taurus because of the good Google reviews. Since we were there very early, we managed to get a place for two. The ambience is really nice. Tables are arranged unconventionally. We like it very much! Map is well structured. If you order something from the BBQ, you can choose the side dishes from the buffet. All you can eat, as we understand it. Since I didn't know whether this also applied to the steaks, I ordered pork spare ribs. My husband ordered bruscetta as an appetizer and said it was the best thing he's ever eaten!!! He also ordered the pork spareribs and he enjoyed it. I, on the other hand, found that the ribs themselves were a bit tasteless. I would have liked a little more flavor with salt and pepper before adding the sauce. The ribs themselves were cooked and not smoked. Maybe that's why. The side dish buffet, on the other hand, is AMAZING! Never had such delicious bacon beans and rarely such a delicious potato gratin. The salads were all delicious. For dessert I had a Creme Bruelet. Also very tasty. The service was without exception friendly and professional. You can tell there are no semi-skilled people here (except perhaps the nice young man who brought the drinks). The boss himself is also present and is not above taking orders himself. Unfortunately, when it got busier, it became more difficult to order drinks, but the two girls can't do more than work. The only thing that really bothered me was having to go to an ice-cold toilet after a restaurant that had a good temperature. It was around 2 degrees outside and as a woman you have to take off your clothes a bit more. That was more than unpleasant. Our conclusion: We would love to come back. Price/performance fits. Service is also good. And hopefully it will be warmer next time 😉 Maybe someone can answer my question about the buffet and the steaks.

Rustic, cozy atmosphere. We celebrated our 9th birthday and all the dishes were great. The staff was very friendly and attentive and there was even a serenade for the birthday child😍 We ​​would be happy to come back.

It was a very tasty meal in Taurus Heiligenhafen. The meat was cooked to perfection in all of them. The side dishes and salad buffet were great, the selection was very good and there was something for everyone. Unfortunately, it was very crowded and cramped that evening, probably because of Christmas. The atmosphere itself is very cozy.

Highly recommend this restaurant! We were there for the third time now and like the previous times it was very good. The aroma of the rump steak went perfectly with the truffle puree. Just one small thing about the winter dessert, if you serve a cheesecake with winter cherries then the passion fruit topping doesn't fit the season but that's what I call complaining at a high level! As a restaurateur, I can definitely recommend this shop!

We ate at the restaurant on Christmas Day. When we arrived at the reserved time, we were allowed to wait another 10 minutes for our table. Ambiance: The restaurant was full, which made it very noisy inside. Since the background music was also very loud, the overall volume level became very high. Eat: There was nothing wrong with the food, everything was cooked to perfection and presented very nicely. Service: Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. We waited a long time for the order to be placed. Nobody looked after us while we ate and we weren't asked about any further requests when we were clearing up. When it came to paying, I told the waitress, whereupon we waited another 25 minutes before we were allowed to check in.

The food was great, the service was super nice and at the end there was even a pianist sitting at the in-house grand piano. Unfortunately, this also deducts one point from the ambience, because the pianist saw his assignment this evening more as a show than as an evening accompaniment. So it became difficult to have a conversation about the new interpretation of Christmas carols that was being presented quite loudly.

It wasn't as expected, after 25 minutes we asked the waiter if we could order. Salad buffet was standard. Side dishes lukewarm and nothing special. The meat was only lukewarm and that's a no go, especially with lamb. Very loud and narrow. We were disappointed!

The second time there after 2022, the ambience is top service and the food is great value for money. 👍

Went to Taurus for dinner three times in the last 14 days. The restaurant is simply great. Super cool and modern furnishings, super good food of excellent quality and fantastic service staff where you can feel the fun at work and the great working atmosphere. We reserved a table weeks ago and were looking forward to the evening. At the door in the pouring rain we were informed that the restaurant was closed "for a short time". A call beforehand would have helped. That's not how you treat guests

Wir waren mit 5 Personen zum Abendessen. Das Restaurant war voll besucht, trotzdem lief die Bedienung reibungslos ab. Alle Mitarbeiter blieben nett, sachlich und sehr kompetent.
