I was here for the first time this evening with my two children. Very, very friendly staff, we particularly noticed Franzi. What charisma, what friendly nature! There was such a great smile on her face the whole time. We felt totally comfortable! The food was also very tasty, although I have to say that my children didn't actually have to order anything, as they more or less ate their fill at the warm buffet - they liked the potato casserole 😂 According to them, it tasted much better than usual Home...🙈😅well...we just had the rest packed up and have something to eat tomorrow. It was very nice with you and if we are in the area again, we would be happy to come back.

We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant without a reservation and were still seated immediately. The waiter Jason was particularly remarkable – super nice and very solution-oriented. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We can particularly recommend the steak and the Taurus plate, both were excellently prepared and delicious. The side dish buffet, which is offered as an all-you-can-eat, was also great and left nothing to be desired. The ambience of the restaurant is simply great, we felt very comfortable. We will definitely come back!

We returned to Taurus for the second time today. The first time it was great. Even today, for the second time, we were not disappointed. The steaks are of the finest quality and so are the accompanying side dishes and salad buffet. Here you can only give top marks. The service is also extremely nice and accommodating. The boss is present and has his team under control so that processes work well. Ambiance also wonderful. We will definitely come back and recommend it. Keep it up.

NEVER AGAIN!!! The service is unreasonable. First no cutlery, then 1 napkin too few. The wrong wine bottle followed, and when pouring the correct wine bottle that was brought later, the glasses were used as drip catchers. When the food was served one thing was missing (4 people and 3 dishes, that wasn't noticed)

We went to the Taurus Steakhouse for dinner today. The reception was very friendly and we were able to choose a table outside. The atmosphere outside was very inviting. The menu is sufficiently large, but there is not much choice for vegetarians. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty. If you order steak or BBQ, you can choose salad and side dishes from the buffet. One star deducted for the really long waiting time. Although it was full, there was only one waiter taking food and drinks. Unfortunately, it took a very long time (almost 30 minutes) before we could order the food because a table kept flagging down this waiter and he didn't come over at all. At least we already had drinks. The other waiters only brought out food and drinks.

If you want to enjoy really good food, this is the right place for you. Special requests are also approved without any problems. Price-performance is fully guaranteed here. Whether fish or meat, everything is great. Vegetarian, the risotto is awesome.

The service was great and the food was delicious. The condition Jason was very polite like the others and would definitely eat there again.

Unfortunately, today was a complete disaster. We waited 20 minutes before we could place the order. We then got a non-flambéed steak soaked in alcohol. It took 10 minutes before we could complain. We had to wait again until we got the bill at the end. We've been here several times. Unfortunately our complaint was not addressed. It was claimed that they were overloaded and we should understand that. It doesn't work at all. It's a shame the steakhouse has gone downhill.

Very good steak with all you can eat side dishes buffet cold and warm. Very attentive staff. We sat outside on the terrace, cozy and nice view of the harbor. Very nice atmosphere inside too. Definitely again!

6'2024 Addendum: After we had been to the steakhouse again, this time we were really disappointed. Despite correction, the steak could not be served medium rare. The boss reacted to objective criticism in an extremely cheeky, impulsive and loud manner. By the way, the next table also complained that the cooking time was too long. The waiter took the salad plate and later the main plate, even though I hadn't swallowed everything and my husband was still eating. After paying, the boss told us that he didn't want to see us again. As if we planned to come back again. Conclusion: If you can't tolerate criticism, you shouldn't ask. 12'2023 We discovered the steakhouse by chance while on vacation, and since then we've been coming by every time we're there. Best steakhouse ever, with quick and friendly staff. The atmosphere is loving and high quality.

There's not much to add. That was the best steak I've eaten in a long time. Maybe I was just lucky, 😉 A reservation is strongly recommended. Otherwise there is no space during the season. That speaks for itself. The owner also runs the Italian restaurant right in front of the intersection. Price-performance, service, everything was great... It's better not to go there, otherwise I won't get a place there next time...😆

So something is wrong with the reviews here. Unfortunately, the side dishes and salad bar are not good at all and my steak was ok, but unfortunately not medium as ordered. Everything took forever and we had eaten the side dishes and salad for a long time before the meat finally arrived. The store seems totally understaffed. Waiters were nice but totally overwhelmed. Boss, as already described here several times, is a choleric who loudly insults guests. It was also expensive. But you can get real top-quality food elsewhere... We were very disappointed with the many stars here!!

I visited the restaurant several times this year. Great concept with side dishes and salad buffet. Quality is great and service is good. Even for me as a vegetarian there was a selection of delicious dishes, even though the Taurus is a steakhouse.

Rarely (probably never before) had such good spareribs. We conveniently ordered a table for two online quite spontaneously that same evening. Once there, we were pleasantly surprised by the smart buffet system of salads and side dishes. The main courses were absolutely amazing: I had fantastically tender spare ribs that fell off the bone on their own. And at a price that was really more than reasonable. Top! Also worth mentioning was the service, which showed both the necessary professionalism and the desired relaxedness and, above all, was extremely attentive. It is not usual for a steak house to also offer vegetarian options. Even if I can't say anything about the taste, I think it's worth mentioning and praising. The only small drawback: the tables within the restaurant are quite close together, so it can get a bit noisy. Beyond that, definitely a big recommendation!

Service war ok denke einfach aufgrund der vielen größte etwas überhört und gestresste. Essen selbst war klasse und ausreichend. Salat und Beilagen waren all you can eat. Super Salate Beilagen musste man nicht viel nehmen das Fleisch war zu gut

I didn't visit the steakhouse. We stood briefly in the parking lot to pick up a lamp from the stand at the Heiligenhafen Festival after consultation. The boss personally deliberately parked the vehicles parked there. So I happily went into the restaurant and asked the boss if he could let me out. He also came after 5 minutes, very unfriendly and started rumbling straight away. Honestly, please people, don't spend any money on this. Anyone who treats a future guest like this has already lost. I would have liked to eat a steak there while on vacation, but I can't entertain someone like that with my money! LG P.S. The previous owner was better, he was friendly!!!!!

Excellent quality of the food, best service from staff (warm and courteous and attentive), very cozy, prices commensurate with the quality. Clear recommendation to stop there. We are completely satisfied. We will definitely eat again. The sanitary facilities were also great. Comfortably furnished and clean.

We had several fantastic evenings at the Steakhouse Taurus in Heiligenhafen! The service was consistently friendly and very attentive, so we immediately felt at home. The ambience is perfectly coordinated and creates a cozy atmosphere. The location at the harbor also gives the restaurant a special charm. The steaks were cooked to perfection and done exactly as ordered. An absolute highlight was the American cheesecake for dessert – simply heavenly! We will definitely be back and can fully recommend the Steakhouse Taurus.

The service was top, the staff was very friendly and attentive. I can only recommend the food, we had rump steak, rump steak and poultry plus side dishes. One more tip: reserve a table in advance.

The steak quality was top and the cooking point was perfect. Because there is a salad and side dish buffet, it is also unbeatable in terms of value for money. It's especially nice to sit outside in the harbor, inside it's a little cramped, but still not a disruptive factor for a lovely evening. Even the boss himself walks around the restaurant and makes sure that every guest is completely at peace. A really big recommendation, I've rarely been to such a good steakhouse!

Much more than a steakhouse. In addition to the usual meat dishes, there are also great vegetarian dishes and everything is freshly prepared. The bruschetta appetizer with fried arugula was simply great. Really great shop.

In this steakhouse you can experience how good and yet “casual” service works. The food was absolutely top!! Both the steak and my fish were prepared absolutely perfectly. Fries (not everyone can do that!!) fried nice and crispy. The staff is young, but still POSITIVELY smart. We were specifically pointed out about the salad buffet, and the pepper mill, which came without pepper, was quickly corrected. Absolutely top and highly recommended.

We were there with local regulars and I can confirm their enthusiasm. The steaks taste very good and are worth the price with salads and side dishes. The service was friendly. The ambience would be great if it wasn't so cramped. The house is full and therefore quite loud. However, I can understand that: if more guests come, the owner can probably keep prices reasonable.

The restaurant is welcoming and well located in the harbor. The ambience is pleasant. The service was very good and very friendly. We ordered sirloin steak and were very disappointed due to the high positive reviews. The meat I ordered medium well was completely cooked, dry and very firm. No pink shimmer and no juice, dead as a mouse. The toasted bread served with it was also dry and cooled down. The other side dishes (buffet) were average. I expect a lot more from a steak professional. A pity.

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für mich als Schweizer stimmt. Die Qualität ist nicht gut und daher stimmt auch der Preis. Gemüse der Selbstbedienungstheke war verkocht und wurde mit viel zu viele Kräutergewürze zubereitet.

We were there for our 5 year old daughter's birthday because she really wanted to eat steak. The staff was incredibly sweet. They decorated the table, afterwards there was a sparkler on the steak and they sang. That was really really great 🥰❤️. The food was also really very tasty 😋. We would definitely like to come back!

In search of a successful end to our holiday, we let ourselves be tempted by the reviews and can say: They keep what they promise. The ambience is really nice. The service is A1. Despite the store being full, everything was served quickly and always with a smile. I haven't seen such good service in a long time! The food was very, very good. We were able to help ourselves to our beef spareribs and Taurus plate in advance at the salad buffet. There was also a good selection of warm side dishes. There also had to be dessert. The homemade cheesecake is a poem. Keep it up 👍

Steak was TOP! The ambience is actually good but the store is way too crowded. Tables are far too close together and it is hot and loud in the restaurant. The service is completely overwhelmed. A! Waiter who serves and collects cash. That's really cheeky, especially in this price range, to keep people waiting like that.

God mat men lite stora portioner. Tyvärr så blev måltiden inte så angenäm då ljudnivån i lokalen var så hög att vi inte kunde slappna av eller höra varandra. Personalen bidrog genom högt tal och slammer med tallrikar och bestick. Det var en befrielse att komma ut.

We reserved a table and waited at the door for almost 10 minutes and then after we were brought to the table no one was interested in us for 20 minutes. This store is completely understaffed for its size and the employees are very hectic and simply cannot manage the customers properly. We then left after 20 minutes after our neighbor's table was served before us, even though they came clearly after us.

Mega service with a great team, great food and the right rum recommended to the point... Nothing more is possible... Thank you for that...

Giving the restaurant five stars is far too little. Everything is just right here! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and harmonious. The staff is so nice, funny, friendly, attentive and helpful, something we have rarely experienced. And that at every table! (It was very crowded) The food was of high quality, whether the meat itself or the salad side dishes (very fresh and crunchy) or the warm side dishes (the mushrooms and green beans were amazing!) (each from the buffet) - everything tasted incredibly good. The prices were also completely reasonable for this quality. And when we found out it was one of our birthdays, there was even a serenade from the staff. Great surprise! Very important: be sure to reserve a table well in advance!!! So, we will come back to enjoy this great service and food again. Thank you for this lovely (birthday) evening!
