Someone is making an effort! Both the (half) duck with red cabbage and boiled potatoes and the "panfish" with fried potatoes were excellent in every detail. 6 tables, stove, boss and boss. Reservation recommended.

I was there, the cellar boss was nice but the food was far too dry and had no taste and he paid outrageously too much money for it even though he knew that the food wasn't tasty.

This place is, without exaggeration, the ultimate among the restaurants I have visited. We had the pleasure of both dining in the restaurant itself and ordering food several times during our vacation. In both cases, the burger bar impressed with outstanding quality that is second to none. It was clear from the first bite: Great importance is placed on high-quality ingredients here. The meat was of first-class quality – juicy, perfectly cooked and tasted incomparable. The other ingredients such as the lettuce and tomatoes were also exceptionally fresh and tasty. It was obvious that no goods from the supermarket were being used here, but that they were working with attention to detail and high-quality products. Particularly noteworthy are the flavor nuances, which were perfectly balanced in each dish. The burger I enjoyed was a real treat - with caramelized red onions, high quality meat and other sophisticated ingredients. There were no industrial parties here, but rather handmade burgers that brought their individuality and freshness to the plate. We were also treated to delicious side dishes: large, crispy fries with a delicate cheese sauce, red onions and peppers, which harmoniously rounded off the taste experience. But it's not just the food, the ambience and service also deserve the highest praise. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the warm and friendly atmosphere, which unfortunately has often become rare in Germany. The Burger Bar team knows how to delight guests not only with good food, but also with a feeling of welcome. I am taking the liberty of writing this detailed review because my experience with top restaurants - from Michelin cuisine to good home cooking - allows me to appreciate what is truly exceptional. And the burger bar convinced and exceeded me in every respect. When we are in Heiligenhafen again, our first stop will without a doubt be this restaurant. In short: The burger bar is a must for anyone who values ​​outstanding food, first-class ingredients and an atmosphere in which you feel completely comfortable. High praise and unreserved recommendation!

Portions very small but tasty. Can't say anything else. Service doesn't work at all. One is totally annoying and the other young brats ignore you for ages. Portions of spaghetti ice cream were all very different sizes. It started off small and melted away and the portions got bigger and bigger, totally unfair to charge the same money for it.

We ordered a pizza today, the dough was dry and sometimes the pizza only consisted of dough because there was hardly any tomato sauce/tomato paste on the pizza. I've rarely seen a pizza that can be messed up so badly. The supplier was nice though. But €20 for a pizza like this is really too much! Not recommended.

We were there for dinner on Christmas Eve. The food was super tasty and the service was simply bomb.
