As a local strong praise from me. Come always happy to come here. Whether with visiting from abroad or with friends from here. Food freshly prepared before your eyes. Individual wishes are no problem for the operating couple. Attentive but not intrusive. Due to its size (under 10 tables, open kitchen behind the counter), it has a very quiet, homely atmosphere.

Portions very small but tasty. Can't say anything else. Service doesn't work at all. One is totally annoying and the other young brats ignore you for ages. Portions of spaghetti ice cream were all very different sizes. It started off small and melted away and the portions got bigger and bigger, totally unfair to charge the same money for it.

Ich habe selten so ein gutes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Steakhouse besucht wie das Taurus, welches zentral im alten Hafen von Heiligenhafen liegt. Ich hatte ein 350 g Hüftsteak, welches auf dem Punkt auf dem Lavastein gegrillt war! Dieses wurde mit Brot serviert. Besonders gut fand ich es, dass man sich die Beilagen dazu vom reichhaltigen Buffet nehmen konnte. Kartoffelgratin, Pommes und Pasta, verschiedene Gemüse und der Salat waren sehr lecker! Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und kompetent. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in Heiligenhafen sind! Reservierung zwingend empfohlen, da das Restaurant um 18:00 Uhr schon komplett voll besetzt war.

We weren't in the hotel, but "only" in the restaurant. For the umpteenth time. Food is great! And the price is right. My wife also really enjoys cooking fresh food. Is a vegetarian, but I eat fish and I also eat meat. Everything we got so far was really top (except mousse chocolate ;))

We love the beach shelter! Very good prices and food is always delicious! I can highly recommend the cheeseburger :)

Very nice, comfortably furnished restaurant. The service was friendly, competent and also available for a little chat. For starters there was a fish soup that lived up to its name and an onion soup with cheese croutons... Although the typical cheese topping was missing. However, the soup itself was very tasty and not quite as powerful due to the lack of cheese, which was a good thing considering the very generous main courses. Because the bacon plaice and the captain's plate tasted great and were really something for people who like large portions. So it was just right for us... Nothing was missing. Was really good! Top price-performance ratio.

So the service was great. There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to eating. The pizza was brought from the neighboring shop and was delicious, but the schnitzel was prepared incorrectly, fried in oil that was too cold and soaked with fat, Potato salad tasted like nothing. Rather disappointing, the whole thing.

Great ambience, service top... Our gentlemen group felt very comfortable there and the food was delicious... Currywurst went well with the Hamburg I ordered and is highly recommended. Great...keep it up...I'm looking forward to next time.
