Wir waren dort essen und hatten insgesamt einen schönen Abend. Besonders die Pizza hat uns überzeugt – der Boden ist schön dünn, nicht zu dick, der Rand herrlich knusprig und geschmacklich wirklich top. Dafür würden wir jederzeit wiederkommen. Außerdem hatten wir Spaghetti Aglio e Olio mit Scampis bestellt. Die Scampis waren sehr lecker und schön saftig, allerdings hatte das Gericht leider kaum etwas mit einer klassischen Aglio e Olio zu tun. Es fehlten Knoblauch und Olivenöl, stattdessen erinnerte es eher an Spaghetti mit Tomaten. Das war etwas enttäuschend. Die Calamari waren ebenfalls sehr lecker und gut zubereitet. Positiv hervorzuheben ist auch das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Insgesamt können wir das Restaurant vor allem für Pizza sehr empfehlen. Wenn die Spaghetti Aglio e Olio noch authentischer zubereitet würden, gäbe es nichts zu beanstanden.

Pizza ist empfehlenswert, Risotto mit Tomatensoße na ja und das Saltimbocca war soweit in Ordnung. Sehr freundlicher Service.

Es ist so gemütlich. Das Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein. Auch die Musik fließt unaufdringlich im Hintergrund. Das Essen ist köstlich und das Angebot reichlich. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und aufmerksam. Wer einen ansprechenden Abend, mit gutem Essen, netten Gastgebern und gediegenem Publikum verbringen möchte, sollte dieses Restaurant wählen. Wir danken dem al Mare für einen gelungenen Abend.

Rundherum das beste Restaurant das wir bisher hier in Heiligenhafen angetroffen haben. Saltimbocca und Putenfilet jeweils 1A, offene Weine, Tiramisu und Espresso Matchiato einfach alles perfekt! Bedienung sehr freundlich u aufmerksam.

Guter Service, lecker Pizza. Der gemischte Salat hätte ein wenig mehr gemischt sein müssen. Gefühlt waren nur grüne Blätter darin. Sonst alles gut 👍

Sehr gut zubereitete Pizza. Heute gibt es gefühlt an jeder Ecke Pizza, diese ist echt sehr zu empfehlen. Auch empfehlen würde ich einen Tisch zu reservieren, zumindest wenn es, um draußen zu sitzen noch etwas kalt ist. Sie Pasta war auch ausreichend in der Portion, auch wenn es auf den ersten Blick und dem Bild wenig aussieht.

Wir hatten beide eine Pizza, die uns super geschmeckt hat. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat gestimmt. Wir können diesen Italiener ruhigen Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, selbst mein Mann, der Italiener ist und damit sehr anspruchsvoll, fand es super. Zwar mussten wir etwas lange warten aber total ok in der Osterzeit und ohne Anmeldung. Empfehle ich gern weiter!

Ein gemütliches Lokal. Köstliches Essen. Die Preise sind nicht höher als in der Umgebung. Es war Ende März, Nebensaison, daher war es nicht sehr voll, aber es gab noch Platz. Insgesamt hat mir alles gefallen, ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Hey Finally, a pizza I didn't like. The dough was tough on the outside, almost impossible to cut, but soggy in the middle. I might as well have ordered a can of tuna with onions. The wine was good, though.

Everything was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the appetizer platter for two, but everything else was also very tasty and plentiful. Highly recommended.

It was fine for us. Everything was a bit cramped in the beer garden. The food didn't blow us away. I could see that a catering meal was transported in a Sprinter van, and the food wasn't covered. It was OK, but unfortunately, nothing more.

This restaurant is very busy on Saturday nights. It's almost impossible to find a seat. Some guests are turned away due to lack of space. The staff is really very friendly, dedicated, and very quick. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for our food. This is understandable and understandable given the high volume of service. Unfortunately, the spaghetti carbonara was inedible. The sauce was burnt. However, we were able to return the dish without any problems. The rest of the dishes were good.

We chose this restaurant based on the good reviews. Since we were a larger group (nine people), I called ahead to reserve appropriate seating. A question about children came up on the phone (the comment was, "Well, they can eat alone, right?"), but it wasn't a problem. When we arrived at the agreed time, we apparently hadn't made a reservation. She also couldn't remember our phone call two hours earlier (with the manager himself). After much back and forth, we finally appeared in the book and got a table. When two glasses tipped over, the waiter came over to us, very annoyed, and we got the impression that children (4 and 8 years old) weren't actually welcome there. It's a shame. They could have been honest about that and canceled our reservation right away, especially since the manager had asked about children. Otherwise, the food was okay.

I had tagliatelle with beef in Gorgonzola. The meat was tough and the sauce thick and tasted of nothing but Gorgonzola. The red wine wasn't good either. We won't go there again :(.

Authentic Italian food with a great atmosphere We spent a very pleasant evening at Ristorante Al Mare in Heiligenhafen. The food was consistently delicious, and the pizzas are especially recommended – crispy, aromatic, and authentically prepared, just as you would expect from a good Italian restaurant! The cozy atmosphere in the evening and the beautiful location also contributed to the positive experience. Due to its popularity, the restaurant is well-frequented – reservations are definitely recommended. One small drawback was the noticeable lack of staff in the service area. When the restaurant was full, there were unfortunately longer waits between courses and drinks. The team was friendly, but at times they just couldn't keep up. The pasta dishes were tasty, but the portions were a bit small – the value for money could be improved to ensure you're truly full. Overall, however, a highly recommended restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy good Italian food in a relaxed atmosphere. We'd be happy to come back!

Once and never again! I was there yesterday. As a welcome, we were immediately told, "The food won't arrive in 5 minutes." Then we were seated and could order. Drinks, appetizers, and main course. The drinks finally arrived after about 15 minutes. However, it wasn't Aqua Panna water as stated on the menu, but a different one. My Coke was warm and without ice! We waited about 50 minutes for our food. Then the appetizer arrived. It was presented with absolutely no love and tasted absolutely nothing. Then came the main course: tortellini, lasagna, and pizza. The pizza tasted of NOTHING. The tortellini and lasagna were OK...but nothing more! When the supposed head waiter came to the table and asked if everything was okay, I told him it wasn't tasty. He then freaked out and yelled at the top of his lungs that it couldn't be right and that we were crazy, so that all the guests could hear. Then he attacked my companion and asked why they didn't say a word! I then asked for the bill and received an advance invoice without a tax number or TSE. Apparently, the bill would simply be canceled at the end. Dear people and holidaymakers, please do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else... otherwise you'll really regret it! Edit: The service staff was completely overwhelmed.

We ate there with a large group and were very satisfied. Both the service and the food were excellent! The menu offers a wide selection, with something for everyone. The location by the harbor and the free parking are also plus points.

We arrived at 6 p.m. because we wanted to catch one of the last ferries in Puttgarden. We got a very nice outdoor seat and ordered some food from the daily menu. After waiting for almost an hour, we discreetly asked where our food was. The friendly, young waitress then asked the kitchen and told us the food would be here in a few minutes. Well, it came very quickly, but unfortunately one dish wasn't as ordered. We kept it anyway. The kitchen had probably forgotten something. The pizza had been in the oven a bit too short, and the verdure on top had 2-3 carelessly thrown-on pieces of cauliflower and broccoli. The seasoning was rather lacking or even nonexistent. The (incorrectly delivered) gnocchi, however, were very good, as was another pasta dish, but the risotto was more like a German rice porridge than an Italian risotto. The price was definitely very high for the quality of the food. All in all, an attentive young waitress with a somewhat clumsy colleague and a disorganized kitchen. Personally, if I were to stay in Heiligenhafwe again, I would definitely look for something else.

We ate at Al Mare on Sunday. In my opinion, they had the most delicious pizza 🍕 I've ever eaten. We got a great table outside without a reservation. The service was great, and the food came to the table really quickly. We enjoyed it so much that we went back on Tuesday and were completely impressed again. I can only recommend Al Mare; it's the perfect restaurant for a great end to the day on the Baltic Sea.

A long-established Italian restaurant in Heiligenhafen. Many locals also enjoy it. The food is very good. I really like the minestrone, but the pizzas are also fantastic. The service is very fast, and dogs are welcome. You should make a reservation in advance or come later when the tourists are already tired. We liked it and will always be an option for us.

It was very tasty; we had two pizzas to take away. The only thing they could have done better was that they gave us a half-hour pickup time, which unfortunately meant the pizza wasn't quite hot anymore – but it tasted even better. Definitely worth recommending.

For me the food had no taste, no spices (oregano etc). Italian cuisine is known for Mediterranean spices. The service is friendly but if you want to order something, you wait and hope that the service looks at you. The bottle exhibition is enormous. Overall, not again.

Definitely expected more based on the good reviews. The restaurant was fully booked and we were supposed to come back half an hour later. Afterwards we were left standing unnoticed for 5 minutes. However, the order was taken and served quickly. However, the quality of the pizza and pasta was average at best. The pizza was pretty “soggy” and didn’t taste great either. Unfortunately, the situation was similar with the pasta. It could be that it was because it was busy, but that was a reason for us to prefer a different location next time.

We reserved a table for two people the day before for my birthday. We were greeted with the words “Colleague is coming soon.”. Since no table was reserved for us (even though we were in the book), we were told to wait. So we stood in the middle of the room and it was not foreseeable that other guests would get up soon. That's why we left this desert of service and had an excellent meal in the Kamino restaurant, where you are treated very warmly. Conclusion: (N)once & never again!

Nothing special but it was tasty! The ambience is fine, I find the little doilies on the beautiful table unnecessary and the jug with the cutlery that is placed on the table fits more into a Bavarian tavern 😉 Otherwise you can spend an evening there with a clear conscience!

When I visited, the entire restaurant was empty except for two tables. Unfortunately, instead of a helpful suggestion, such as the possibility of using a table for 30 minutes until the next reservation arrives, I only received a malicious grin and the answer “No, nothing left available”. This treatment leaves the impression that new guests are not welcome, which is particularly unfortunate given the obviously neglected interior, which is characterized by dust on the furniture. I wish you much success with your restaurant and would like to encourage you to rethink your tone towards potential guests. Respectful and welcoming service could certainly help create a positive atmosphere.

We were recommended here by the hotel and really enjoyed it. The quality of both the starters, the main course and the accompanying wines was excellent. The tiramisu fit the bill perfectly. Only the equipment was no longer up to date. But that just means that there is still some room for 5 stars in the category. For everything else, I don't know what there is to complain about. Very clear recommendation.

We have been here several times and the food has always been delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive. Even with our dog, we always had a quiet place and were able to have a very pleasant stay. We always like to come over.

Nice staff and actually cozy too. Pizza was delicious, unfortunately the "tomato soup" was terrible! The soup/sauce (?) was very thick and sour and actually had the same taste as the one on the pizza :-(! And it was heavy on my husband's stomach and he was very sick the whole night. What a shame!!
