My burger was delicious, and the iced tea is highly recommended. The atmosphere is very pleasant.

We're thrilled. The food was amazing, and they even accommodated special requests. The service was excellent, and the staff was super friendly. There were coloring books and a board game for the kids to pass the time. Next time we're in Heiligenhafen, we'll be back at the burger bar.

We're vacationing in Heiligenhafen from July 12th to July 19th. Of course, since you're on the Baltic Sea, we ate fish. But what we experienced at the BurgerBar was absolutely amazing! Great and cozy atmosphere, the food was amazing, truly delicious and very good. The service, and probably the host (chef) as well, was more than accommodating and so friendly. You don't find that often these days!! Definitely a "MUST" if you come to Heiligenhafen. We went there three times within a week. :-)

Great burger place with BBQ or chicken! My insider tip: chili cheese fries with jalapenos. You could sit down and eat it, it's so good. Super friendly service, too.

We waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken and almost an hour for the food. No information about this, nor was there an offer to order an appetizer, etc. Accordingly, a server was only present at the beginning and to clear the table. The atmosphere seems rather haphazard, as much of the food is still from the previous Fischerstübchen. The prices are reasonable, as the side dishes are very generous. The sides, in particular, were really good (tip: the grilled vegetables). The burgers were also tasty, although the ground beef bears little resemblance to a burger patty. In conclusion: it's worth a visit, but there's still plenty of room for improvement.

Great vegetarian burger. It was something different, and it was very good. The burger would have been enough for me, though. The fries were too much for me. I'll remember that for next time. The staff were also super friendly and personable. Highly recommended!

Perfect service, very tasty food, but it's missing that certain something. We ordered two burgers and fries with sour cream to go. The food was ready after 10 minutes, and the service, both on the phone and in person, was more than just friendly and courteous; many other restaurants could learn a lot in this regard. The burgers (Honey Burger & Smokey Burger) were very tasty, but the Honey Burger somehow lacked that certain something – without wanting to speak ill of the burger (quite the opposite: the burger stood out thanks to its fluffy buns, homemade chicken patty, and delicious sauce!). We liked the Smokey Burger, but for our taste, it could have used a little less sauce. What surprised us afterwards was the very high price. I didn't question the amount when I picked it up, but in retrospect, I find the €36 for the two ~€10 burgers and the ~€6 fries somewhat strikingly high. I'm not expecting a response; perhaps we simply had an old card in front of us, but we noticed it afterwards. The only negative thing I noticed about the service there was the request for tips on the card reader. Because I asked beforehand if I could tip, I personally didn't feel embarrassed by the situation. I just always find these devices unfortunate because they create an unpleasant situation. Besides, in my opinion, with such good and attentive service, you don't really need something like that ;) All in all, highly recommended, but unfortunately, these weren't the "best burgers in the world," as other reviews have called them.

We've been coming here for food ever since the burger bar opened, and we haven't been disappointed yet. The price/performance ratio is definitely good. The service is fast and very friendly. We'll be back next year. +++Update+++ 2025/6 It's still incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere is great. The prices are still reasonable.

We don't quite understand the many positive reviews. The service was good, but not exceptional. 4/5 stars, however. The burgers were indeed very good. The fries/wedges were also okay. The side orders, such as the dips, were actually quite lacking. The aioli was nothing more than mayonnaise with garlic pieces, and not particularly intense. We could barely distinguish the taste of the aioli and the truffle mayonnaise. The Alsterwasser wasn't really cold, and the Lillet Wildberry was fake—definitely not the original, but a cheap version from Aldi or something. The ambiance fits the description in another review: pub with a slot machine...

The staff was very friendly from the start. The menu was very small, but that wasn't a problem. The food, however, was very, very tasty. The cheese sauce is, in my opinion, simply excellent, as are the schnitzels. 10/10 points

The waitress knows how things work. We (3 people) each had a burger. We shared two side dishes (fries and onion rings). We were stuffed - which speaks for the portions. Everything tasted delicious and was prepared to perfection. I asked the waiter for a burger recommendation and there was a special burger that wasn't on the menu - super tasty! We'll be back.

We were in the restaurant for the first time yesterday and we were thrilled! Burger bar is actually misleading because in addition to delicious burgers, there are also schnitzels, spare ribs, salads, chili-cheese fries and, and, and... We were there at Christmas time, it was nice and warm, there were great fairy lights and there was a decorated Christmas tree. We even got a UNO game to brighten up the waiting time for the kids.

Although I'm not a big burger fan myself, I was happy to give in to my girlfriend's request: We went to the burger bar - and it was wonderful!!! 🤩 The "Honey" with fried chicken and the "Classy" with an extra fried egg on top, a portion of sweet potato fries with ketchup and super delicious aioli; Both dips came to the table in large bowls in plentiful form. Even if the burgers don't look that spectacular: the taste is simply great - you can taste the freshness of every single ingredient!!! Very good, juicy and not "fried" meat was on the burger, the included sauces and the brioche buns were first class! The friendliness of the owner's son was unsurpassable and we also really like the atmosphere there: modern, but with a cozy, rustic touch. My personal summary: If I go out to eat burgers in Heiligenhafen again, then only in the burger bar! I've had two other restaurants in Hlhf in the past few years. tested in a way that I didn't think was so great - the burger bar is my favorite from today on!

Yesterday we had dinner at the Burger Bar as a family. We were immediately greeted warmly and our child was given crayons and pads to keep him busy. We ordered the smoky burger with extra cranberry bacon jam, the rump steak with baked potatoes and knofibrot and the fries with various dips. The food was fresh, lovingly prepared and tasted fantastic. :) There was also time for a nice conversation. :) We found the price to be reasonable for our dishes. All in all it was a really nice evening. We can fully recommend the Burger Bar and would be happy to come back.

MEGA! We ordered 4 burgers and a portion of fries. The owner called us back on the phone and apologized for not answering immediately. We picked up our food after about 25 minutes, which is really good time. On site we chatted a bit with the very nice owner. Everything we had ordered was there. The burgers were smash burgers and were very juicy. The fries came with a large and delicious portion of mayonnaise. In addition, the sustainable burger packaging was made of a good material that doesn't immediately dissolve as soon as some sauce is added to it. The restaurant is highly recommended. And there were two more lollies. VG, son of PH 😉

The location has a bevy of an old pub. The service was great from minute one and we immediately felt at home. The service was attentive without being intrusive. When the food came, I knew that this burger had jumped into my top 3 burgers I've ever eaten. We went to the burger bar for the first time yesterday and we were extremely surprised at the quality of food this place offers. It starts with the dips, where you have a large and interesting selection, from ketchup and mayo to truffle mayo and cranberry, there is really something for everyone. When we ate we were completely amazed, we had the chicken honey, the smokey, the cheese and ribs and they were all simply unique from the quality of the ingredients to the look and especially the taste. We've been to Gordon Ramsey's burger shops in London, but even they can't keep up with the taste of the food in the burger bars around us. One can only wish that the owners continue as before, because then this store can become something really big.

If the owner/boss acts with commitment and maintains communication in a friendly manner, that's a great foretaste. Luckily it didn't stop there, because the food served was very good. Everything was well prepared and really tasty. The meat of the burgers is a poem. Keep it up. Highly recommended.

We simply can't help but give it 5 stars in all areas. The food was bombastic. Great burgers, crispy side dishes and super tasty sauces. I don't even know if our waiter is also the boss, but the shops keep getting better because of people like him. All in all a top service for us. So far the best in Heiligenhafen for us.
