We were looking for an alternative to "Gosch," and honestly: fantastic! The best decision. Great service, super friendly communication, and the food is truly amazing. Whether it's the burger or the sides, the portions are generous and absolutely delicious.

Somewhat disappointing. At first, we could only sit in a sort of back room. It had a rather unpleasant atmosphere and felt quite oppressive. After 15 minutes, we were finally able to order. The selection was generally okay, but I find 10 burgers, only 4 of which are vegetarian, a bit weak for a place called a "burger bar." Our drinks arrived after 10 minutes, and our food after about 50 minutes. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink or anything else in between. The food tasted quite good, and the price was average. I definitely wouldn't recommend it; there are much better restaurants in the city.

What a great decision to eat here! The wait was a bit longer than expected, it was Halloween after all 😊 and the food made up for it. It was absolutely delicious...we'll definitely be back.

It was our first time at the burger bar. Super friendly staff, and yes, it takes a while when... the place is packed—which speaks for itself—everything is freshly prepared and served to all guests at the same time. Super friendly staff, the older bartender is a true icon. The food is delicious, plentiful, and there's a good selection with lots of options. Check out the menu on the website. We were glad we made a reservation in advance for the holiday.

We went to the burger bar today because we were on vacation in Fehmarn. We arrived quite early, so luckily we got a table. So, in general, I would recommend making a reservation. I really liked the ambiance. It wasn't too crowded, but it certainly created a good atmosphere. Since I really like pink, I naturally thought the window sills were very nice. The employee who served us was very friendly and always there, not intrusive. But let's get to the important point: the food. We each ordered burgers and steak fries with various dips. The burgers were great, and the meat seemed to be freshly prepared. The steak fries weren't your run-of-the-mill fries, which we liked. The dips were very good quality. I had my all-time favorite, the chili mayonnaise, and I can recommend it to everyone! The burger selection isn't that large, but you can add extras to your burgers for an additional charge. Overall, the price is/was reasonable. I would go again. They even gave me a free spirit to finish off the meal. I asked about it, but unfortunately, I forgot what it was (something with mango).

Unfortunately, the delivery time hasn't been met for the fourth time. Not even close. The food is always delicious, but the delivery time is abysmal! Despite calling, I still waited another 20 to 30 minutes. Absolutely unacceptable. Unfortunately, no one was available by phone today. Addendum to the review from just now. We've now reached someone by phone, and they're very, very unfriendly and rude. The food just arrived 5 minutes ago, 50 minutes late, and unfortunately, everything was cold.

Food is always a matter of taste, but ours was very rare, and the kids didn't like their burgers at all, so we had to go to McDonald's afterward. We paid over €120 for five people. That's a lot of money for burgers. The burgers are relatively well-filled, though. Ours was just a lack of taste, which is why we won't be coming back. The kids were given something to draw while we waited, though. Which I thought was great so they weren't always on their phones 😅

We were on holiday in Heiligenhafen and ordered and based on the reviews we thought it was great. We are extremely disappointed and angry. The food was overpriced and we waited for 2 hours. The ribs were tough, dry and you could hardly taste the honey marinade. It was as if someone had just poured a teaspoon of honey over them and that was it. One of the schnitzels was really dry and there was hair in the food which was really disgusting. The garlic bread was rock hard. The schnitzel with the chili cheese sauce was the only thing that was good but it was much too small for the price. Charging €5.50 for fries is ridiculous and charging €6.90 for 6 nuggets that were that small is really annoying. All in all it was the worst delivery we have ever had.

Children are well looked after, and they are taken seriously and not overlooked. Every guest is looked at while ordering, and every question is answered patiently. If we're in the area again, we'd love to come back. We can't repeat this experience often enough.

Super delicious, the portions are generous and just great for the price. The steakhouse fries are amazing, the kids loved the nuggets and devoured them all. (No run-of-the-mill nuggets, no frozen meat.) The burgers were excellent and really big. One is enough to fill you up. 😅 We'll definitely eat here again on our next visit.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The delivery was over an hour late – which was annoying in itself. When the burgers finally arrived, they were cold, tasted disappointing, and the meat was neither cooked nor seasoned properly. The chili cheese sauce we ordered had no flavor at all. Furthermore, the sweet potato fries were completely burnt. Overall, the meal was a total failure. A real shame – we were really looking forward to it.

The burger bar serves delicious food paired with excellent service. I had the Chicken Honey Burger, and it was truly delicious. The bun was nice and fluffy, the chicken was freshly prepared, and the honey mustard sauce was truly delicious. The fries are also great and perfectly salted. We finished off our meal with a nightcap, and the service was excellent. I'd happily go back.

Instead of piles of spices and frills, the focus here is on the actual product—that's unfortunately rare these days, and I'm absolutely thrilled with how they conjure up magic here! The waiter (who was also the owner) was super nice. We made a reservation on a Sunday evening, but we could have gotten in without a reservation. Plenty of choice, including vegetarian and vegan options. Prices are perfectly reasonable. We had to wait about 45 minutes for a burger and cheese fries, but we had time anyway. The burger was delicious and had plenty of meat. The cheese fries were also tasty, but nothing special. However, the Lillet Wildberry was delicious again. The food is very filling.

We're vacationing in Heiligenhafen from July 12th to July 19th. Of course, since you're on the Baltic Sea, we ate fish. But what we experienced at the BurgerBar was absolutely amazing! Great and cozy atmosphere, the food was amazing, truly delicious and very good. The service, and probably the host (chef) as well, was more than accommodating and so friendly. You don't find that often these days!! Definitely a "MUST" if you come to Heiligenhafen. We went there three times within a week. :-)

We waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken and almost an hour for the food. No information about this, nor was there an offer to order an appetizer, etc. Accordingly, a server was only present at the beginning and to clear the table. The atmosphere seems rather haphazard, as much of the food is still from the previous Fischerstübchen. The prices are reasonable, as the side dishes are very generous. The sides, in particular, were really good (tip: the grilled vegetables). The burgers were also tasty, although the ground beef bears little resemblance to a burger patty. In conclusion: it's worth a visit, but there's still plenty of room for improvement.

Perfect service, very tasty food, but it's missing that certain something. We ordered two burgers and fries with sour cream to go. The food was ready after 10 minutes, and the service, both on the phone and in person, was more than just friendly and courteous; many other restaurants could learn a lot in this regard. The burgers (Honey Burger & Smokey Burger) were very tasty, but the Honey Burger somehow lacked that certain something – without wanting to speak ill of the burger (quite the opposite: the burger stood out thanks to its fluffy buns, homemade chicken patty, and delicious sauce!). We liked the Smokey Burger, but for our taste, it could have used a little less sauce. What surprised us afterwards was the very high price. I didn't question the amount when I picked it up, but in retrospect, I find the €36 for the two ~€10 burgers and the ~€6 fries somewhat strikingly high. I'm not expecting a response; perhaps we simply had an old card in front of us, but we noticed it afterwards. The only negative thing I noticed about the service there was the request for tips on the card reader. Because I asked beforehand if I could tip, I personally didn't feel embarrassed by the situation. I just always find these devices unfortunate because they create an unpleasant situation. Besides, in my opinion, with such good and attentive service, you don't really need something like that ;) All in all, highly recommended, but unfortunately, these weren't the "best burgers in the world," as other reviews have called them.

We don't quite understand the many positive reviews. The service was good, but not exceptional. 4/5 stars, however. The burgers were indeed very good. The fries/wedges were also okay. The side orders, such as the dips, were actually quite lacking. The aioli was nothing more than mayonnaise with garlic pieces, and not particularly intense. We could barely distinguish the taste of the aioli and the truffle mayonnaise. The Alsterwasser wasn't really cold, and the Lillet Wildberry was fake—definitely not the original, but a cheap version from Aldi or something. The ambiance fits the description in another review: pub with a slot machine...

The burger I enjoyed was a real treat - with caramelized red onions, high quality meat and other sophisticated ingredients. We were there at Christmas time, it was nice and warm, there were great fairy lights and there was a decorated Christmas tree. We even got a UNO game to brighten up the waiting time for the kids.

Although I'm not a big burger fan myself, I was happy to give in to my girlfriend's request: We went to the burger bar - and it was wonderful!!! 🤩 The "Honey" with fried chicken and the "Classy" with an extra fried egg on top, a portion of sweet potato fries with ketchup and super delicious aioli; Both dips came to the table in large bowls in plentiful form. Even if the burgers don't look that spectacular: the taste is simply great - you can taste the freshness of every single ingredient!!! Very good, juicy and not "fried" meat was on the burger, the included sauces and the brioche buns were first class! The friendliness of the owner's son was unsurpassable and we also really like the atmosphere there: modern, but with a cozy, rustic touch. My personal summary: If I go out to eat burgers in Heiligenhafen again, then only in the burger bar! I've had two other restaurants in Hlhf in the past few years. tested in a way that I didn't think was so great - the burger bar is my favorite from today on!
