Great ambience, very friendly staff, good service and very tasty food. I had fish and it was very tasty. The restaurant is dog-friendly, it is worth booking a table in advance as they are not very big. I'll definitely be back.

Where should I start, even though we came by at peak time and everything was already full, we were still able to take a seat in a great atmosphere. The food was first class from home cooking as well as new ideas that invite you to come back again. Also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The portions are more than enough :) The service is very courteous and child-friendly. An address that is definitely part of your vacation trip.

We spontaneously got a great seat in the restaurant with a dog. It was a great arrival and the service was incredible. There are rarely such loving places. The food was wonderful and the value for money was first class. We would love to come back.

It is always a taste highlight when we are in Heiligenhafen. Quality of food, service and ambience work perfectly together!

We had reserved a table for 6 adults and 2 small children and were warmly greeted as soon as we entered the restaurant. The children were given painting supplies and were allowed to order their food straight away, which came very quickly. The service was great, really nice and attentive. The food was very tasty.

We were at Anno1800 at the end of October. We can only report positive things. The service (owner, I think) was incredibly nice and accommodating. You felt really comfortable. For us as non-meat eaters there was a lot to choose from on the menu. Some could even be served vegan. The sweet dog that belongs to the restaurant greets every guest warmly at the door. In the women's toilet, everything is thought of with hygiene products. If you think that the restaurant charges high prices, you will be disappointed. The prices are so fair!! We will definitely come back and would like to give it 100 stars! Thanks!

Short and sweet: Fantastic first impression, came without a reservation and got the last two seats at the front of a large table. We were asked nicely beforehand if we were comfortable with that and were allowed to see what the conditions were. On a side note, dogs are not only welcome, but warmly welcome. If that doesn't suit you, you'll definitely find something else great in the always diverse and dog-friendly Heiligenhafen. There is also an excellent selection of wines, which stand out thanks to the house's recommendations even outside of the menu. Here, emphasis is placed on taste and customer wishes; anyone who likes wine will love it here. Our food, small starters & two main courses (roast beef & “fish from the field”) are great, simply good & more than do justice to the ambience and price. Even though our fried potatoes were unfortunately a bit underdone, this was immediately taken seriously and made up for with extras and honesty. Please continue like this! We would love to come back :-) and can really recommend it to everyone. All in all, it was really good value for money, and we would have paid more for the quality and service in good conscience! Please just remember to make a reservation, we were really lucky to get a spot. For reasons of hospitality :-) P.S. The apple crumble for dessert is a must, which will hopefully soon be available in vegan form for my wife's benefit. :-P

Just great! We wonder why we never noticed this great restaurant before. Please definitely eat there. We received such a warm welcome there. Wir waren mit dem Segelschiff in Heiligenhafen und eingeweht - daher stand der Restaurantbesuch auf dem Plan. Das Haus war voll gebucht, wir bekamen die letzten Plötze am Tresen. Da saßen wir perfekt, um zwischendurch immer mal wieder mit den sehr zuvorkommenden Servicekräften zu sprechen. Das Essen, einmal Rotbarsch mit Senfsauce, einmal Fischteller mit Tomaten-/Gemüsesud, beides begleitet von Bratkartoffeln kam sehr schnell. Beide Gerichte waren sehr lecker, der Fisch nicht „totgebraten“ und die Bratkartoffeln perfekt! Dazu hatten wir einen köstlichen Sancerre. Auch der Nachtisch, rote Grütze und Schokotörtchen waren köstlich. Für uns ein wunderbarer Abend!! Das Haus können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Und sollte es uns einmal wieder nach Heiligenhafen wehen, kommen wir gerne wieder.

A very quaint and cozy restaurant. We were very welcome with our little dog, he received treats and a blanket. The food is excellent, the service is attentive but not intrusive. We came here often because Anno is the only restaurant that has vegan options on the menu. I really enjoy eating fish from the field with fried potatoes. Today there was just bacon in the fried potatoes. It looked as if the pieces were simply fished out at random. The succinct oh sorry from the service is somehow not enough for me when you make such a faux pas. That was definitely the last visit. That doesn't work at all. (The dish was remade with fries at my request, but just the idea that I probably ate something with meat makes me shudder. If you don't want vegans, you really shouldn't offer dishes of this kind at ridiculous prices!!)

This restaurant seems to have enough customers. We wanted to take food out of the house on September 1st. Even though the restaurant was half empty, we were told by the waitress: We don't do that. You can eat here. When we replied that we didn't want to do that because we wanted to order for a group, they said they would have to go somewhere else. APPARENTLY THE OPERATORS VETDIENENT ENOUGH IN THE SUMMER

There were two of us in the restaurant and we were allowed to reorder the fried potatoes that went with our dish at any time. Great service - especially when the fried potatoes are so delicious. The rest of the main course (fish platter) also tasted very good, even though one of my pieces of fish had a lot of large bones in it. The only drawback: Unfortunately, the waiter couldn't tell us exactly what types of fish we got with our fish platter. Little insider tip: The lemonades offered in the restaurant are super delicious. Favorites: Cucumber-Elderberry & Orange-Ginger :D

I first had mixed salad with vinaigrette dressing, then hind knuckle of Daichwiesen lamb in a braised vegetable sauce with fried potatoes. Everything was a delight for the taste buds. Gladly again at any time.

Absolute recommendation! Lovingly furnished restaurant. We were there without registering and just managed to get a spot in the sun, along with sunscreen to keep us protected. Also worth mentioning are the additional utensils for women and men, deodorant, hand cream, etc. in the toilets 👍🏼 The food was very good and came quickly, even though the restaurant was full.👍🏼 The fried potatoes were delicious We will definitely visit this restaurant again on our next visit to the Baltic Sea.👍🏼 The children thought the owners' dog was so cute, so the petting zoo was checked off straight away😜 We felt very comfortable there. We made it our mission to try out other restaurants and hit the bull's eye at ANNO 1800, a really super nice restaurant with really great different dishes, for both small and large budgets. Be sure to try the ANNO 1800 fish platter, the cod with spinach leaves, simply delicious 😋 😋, and the dessert of chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream is also a dream. All dishes are very tastefully prepared. So if you are in Heiligengafen and want to have a nice, cozy, delicious meal, be sure to let yourself be pampered here by the super nice and attentive staff. We'll definitely be back soon.

We were looking for a place with vegan food at short notice and found exactly the right place in Anno 1800. We were able to get a table outside and the visit was really worth it. Everything delicious and nice service and great location

The service this time was even better than 5 stars. We were registered on Wednesday evening. But since we had to travel first and were stuck in a traffic jam in Hamburg for over an hour, we only arrived over 70 minutes later than we had previously reserved the table. The staff knew that we were getting married that day and so the table was decorated with hearts especially for us. But since we had a photographer's appointment less than an hour later, the Anno1800 team took this into account and we had our food very quickly, so we were out of the restaurant in time. A big fat THANK YOU SO MUCH to the team for this... 😘 I won't write anything more about the food, which was once again absolutely top, or the location itself. Just this much. We have been there several times and we would be happy to come back at any time. Everything just fits here. Thank you again...

Hatten zum Geburtstag mit 5 Freunden reserviert. Super, super !! Schon die freundliche Begrüßung war der Besuch wert (süßer lieber Hund) Hatten uns diese Location auch ausgesucht weil unsere Tochter veganerin ist und man normalerweise keine Auswahl an veganen Gerichten hat. Hier ist das anders. Unsere Tochter war richtig glücklich. Aber auch die anderen Gerichte sehr sehr lecker. Zum Schluss gab es noch einen wirklich saftigen Geburtstagskuchen vom Haus mit Kerze. Der ganze Abend war sehr gelungen und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank auch an den super Service

Wir fahren seit einigen Jahren mindestens ein Mal pro Jahr nach Heiligenhafen in den Urlaub und haben schon einige Stammrestaurants, die wir pro Aufenthalt mehrfach besuchen. Andere hingegen haben sich im laufe der Jahre sehr negativ entwickelt und sind keine Empfehlung mehr. Doch nun zum Anno1800. Wir kannten das Restaurant schon seit einigen Jahren und haben in der Vergangenheit auch schon einmal dort gegessen. Leider war es damals extrem schwül und man hatte draußen mehr mit Insekten zu kämpfen, als man Zeit hatte das Essen zu genießen. Wahrscheinlich hat sich deshalb kein bleibender Eindruck eingestellt. Dieses Jahr wollten wir das Anno1800 erneut testen und kehrten, nach Reservierung mit 5 Erwachsenen, 4 Kindern und einem Hund ein und es passte einfach alles. Wir hatten einen schönen langen Tisch für alle und wurden ausgesprochen herzlich und zügig bedient. Der Service war wirklich optimal und genau so, dass wir uns sehr wohl fühlten. Als das bestellte Essen (sehr zügig) kam, dachten wir teilweise zunächst an Verwechslung. Die Schnitzel ragten über die Teller hinaus und auch ansonsten waren die Portionen wirklich riesig. Riesig war auch der Geschmack. Jeder von uns ging zufrieden und pappsatt nach Hause. Für uns steht fest; nach Heiligenhafen zu reisen bedeutet ab jetzt auch definitiv das Anno1800 zu besuchen!

It's a shame we wanted to eat here today, even though there was a free table outside, we were sent away again. You have to keep this free if a guest who has reserved inside wants to go outside. Incomprehensible to me because they said reservations are only for indoors. On the first visit everything was good and the service was great. Here you should think about whether this was so good

Kommen jedes Mal wenn wir in Großenbrode sind rüber gefahren. Waren immer sehr begeistert leider dieses Mal gab es Punktabzug in der B Note. Sonst beim Dorsch versalzen und der Knoblauch zu arg auch wenn wir ihn gern Essen. Meine Scholle hätte das Salz eher gebrauchen können. Sonst wie immer sehr Kinder lieb und der Service war klasse. Selbst gemacht Limonade war für meine Tochter ein Hit. Hoffe beim nächsten Urlaub das gewohnt Bild wieder zu haben.

I had the great pleasure of visiting the anno1800 restaurant in Heiligenhafen and I cannot recommend it enough! The ambience is simply magical – cozy, inviting and you immediately feel at home. The family impression that the team conveys makes the entire experience even more special. The service was always friendly and attentive. It's rare that you feel as well cared for as you do here. The staff always tried to make our visit as pleasant as possible and always had a smile on their faces. The food was absolutely delicious! I would particularly like to highlight the fried potato ratio. The steak plate was also a highlight. To round things off, I can recommend the cold dog and apple crumble desserts. Both desserts were the perfect sweet ending to a great meal. All in all, a fantastic restaurant that I can recommend to everyone. If you are looking for a warm, friendly atmosphere and excellent food, Anno1800 is the right place for you. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

The restaurant may not be located on the first line of the coast, but it is first class! There were four of us there. Since the weather wasn't ideal, we sat in the interior, which is more than inviting with a lot of attention to detail. The service was first class, and special requests (which are common with small children) were of course taken into account. And there was also time for a nice chat. The menu offers something to suit every taste. It is freshly prepared and you can taste it too. Our plates, which, in addition to the great quality of the food, were also very lovingly prepared, were empty in the end...there couldn't be a better sign! The ANNO 1800 is located on the inland lake, public parking spaces are almost in front of the door. Our conclusion: After our first visit in 2020, we were once again absolutely not disappointed! German cuisine today. The online reservation works very well. The service was attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was rustic/cozy. As a starter we both had the horseradish vegetable soup, the soup wasn't bad, it could have been more horseradish-heavy for our taste. For the main course my wife had the chicken schnitzel with spinach, the schnitzel was well made and very large (where do you get such large chicken 🤔?). The spinach is very strongly flavored with garlic. I had the redfish fillet with mustard sauce and fried potatoes. Redfish and sauce were great, the fried potatoes were too greasy for me. On a positive note, I would also like to mention that my wife's special requests were fulfilled without any problems, such as soup without meat, schnitzel with spinach instead of fried potatoes 👍🏻.

I don't even know where to start... as a dog owner, I was always amazed at how attentively people treated the dog... he was offered a bowl of treats and water... every single employee was friendly and not because they had to, but because they were I had the feeling that the friendliness came from the heart... the ambience corresponded entirely to my taste... stylishly rustic inside and out, modern rustic with a nice view... everything was well maintained and clean... the food we had was delicious and we didn't miss anything... thank you for that nice evening😊

Hospitality is very important here! We received a very friendly welcome yesterday and were given a seat outside even without a reservation. (Reservations are generally recommended.) Our dog was also welcome and, after asking, was given a small bowl of treats and water. The landlady is extremely friendly and attentive and you quickly feel welcome. We found the atmosphere to be very personal, the opposite of mass processing. The meal was excellent. As a starter we had olives and cheese with bread and a very good olive oil. Pepper and salt from the mill. For the main course we had roast beef and the fried potato ratio, a platter with herring, sour meat and roast beef. Everything was excellent! My partner has never eaten such good matjes. We will be back definitely!
