We've been coming to the Strandperle several times on every vacation for many years – with two adults and two children – and we're absolutely thrilled every time! You can get pizza on every corner in Heiligenhafen, but here it's in a whole different league: huge (34 cm), with great toppings, and at a really fair price. The schnitzel, the turkey steak, and, last but not least, the Indian dishes are always a treat. Our kids love the noodles – and the children's portions here are exceptionally generous. Another plus point: the drink prices. They're absolutely fair, so you can simply enjoy a glass on the sunny terrace without ordering a full meal. The owner and her team are incredibly warm, attentive, and very attentive every time – you notice it right away. We'd like to particularly emphasize: The prices haven't increased since at least 2023 – truly remarkable and absolutely customer-friendly these days! One small downside remains: Unfortunately, card payments are still not accepted. But with cash in your pocket, that's quickly forgotten. The ambiance is a little dated, but that doesn't bother us much. A little facelift at some point would be the icing on the cake. We give it 10 stars without hesitation for taste, value, and service. Please stay the way you are – we're already looking forward to your next visit!

We ate there today. We had Jägerschnitzel, fish sticks with fried potatoes, spaghetti carbonara, pizza Margherita, and freshly tapped beer. Everything was delicious and fresh. Beautifully located on the beach and great with kids who can run around and play a bit while the food arrives. Highly recommended, the food and the prices are great 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻☺️

The food was delicious, and we didn't have to wait long. What annoys me is that you can only pay in cash in a restaurant like this. If I'd been able to pay by card, we would have ordered more. It was too spontaneous, and I didn't want to make a special trip to the ATM.

The Strandperle is an Indian restaurant located very close to the beach. The restaurant is therefore also frequented by guests who come directly from the beach and want to have lunch or a drink. The always friendly owner serves in an Indian sari. In addition to Indian food, there are pizza, schnitzel, and fish. Vegetarian dishes are also on the menu. I personally always eat Indian food there. You should reserve a table for the evening. We eat there often during our annual vacation. Highly recommended.

We wanted something quick to eat and take away. The menu is far too long, but almost every country's cuisine is listed. We ordered two different schnitzels. Everything was fine when we picked them up. Friendly service, the food was ready, and we paid quickly. And then we went back to our accommodation. Even though the schnitzels were pressed meat, they still tasted good. A typical fast food joint. The fries were good too, but the salad could have been more creative. Coleslaw, a slice of tomato, and a slice of cucumber. I didn't rate the ambiance because I didn't eat in the restaurant, but it seems pretty busy. Price/performance OK.

We had an all-around successful dinner with delicious, authentic Indian food – top-notch in terms of flavor, tailored to German standards (not too spicy, but still wonderfully seasoned). This family-run business – run by a father, mother, daughter, and son – creates a warm, informal atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The Indian food was consistently excellent and can definitely compete with good Indian restaurants in Hamburg. I would particularly like to highlight the naan bread – the best I've ever eaten! For such an extensive menu, the quality of the Indian dishes is truly remarkable. I can't comment on the rest of the menu, but this part is 100% recommended. Thank you for the perfect dinner – we'll be back!

HOSPITALITY is very important here! The food is good and tastes delicious. You shouldn't expect anything out of the ordinary. The ambience leaves a lot to be desired, but that should be forgiven because the owners are incredibly friendly! Where else can you get something affordable on the beach if not here? I like being in Heiligenhafen and that includes the Strandperle!

We ate alone in the restaurant, even though other reviews said it was always very crowded. But the ambience and food are not right at all. The service is friendly, but the food is not really recommended. The owners could do a lot more with this place and a better menu. The toilets are not clean and the tables are also getting old. So not recommended. Just walk a little further and you will come to a really delicious restaurant (pizza).

Today the two of us went to the Strandperle for pizza. We were already there with 6 people. Once again I found it very tasty. Homemade pizza, well topped and very tasty. Simple atmosphere, suitable for the beach. Nice service and pleasant prices. In my opinion, if you have some time with you in the evening, you should leave the beach pearl on a positive note. Today we were at lunchtime and everything went smoothly. We would be happy to come back and can recommend it with a clear conscience. Kind regards

The food at Strandperle is really delicious, and the prices are great too. A very minimal compromise could be made because of the ambience. A little older but that doesn't matter at all as the food makes up for it. If you get a good table, you also have a nice view. The Indian food is really, really good. The pizza is also super juicy. Clear recommendation and don't be fooled by the first impression.👍

But being served a pizza with cheese as flatbread and then reacting rudely when you try to criticize it is not ok P.S. If you charge 1.5€ more for fried potatoes, you have to deduct them if you don't order them... Little things about the prices...

Small restaurant located right on the beach. We went there for dinner after visiting the beach. The ambience is quite old and the restaurant was quite busy. You can sit inside and outside. There are a lot of dishes on the menu (pizza, fish, Indian dishes, pasta, salads, etc.) The service is very friendly. We were happy with our dishes and the prices are perfectly reasonable. (cheaper than all surrounding restaurants) At the end you get an ice-cold ouzo on the house and the children get a small lollipop. As of 7/2024

I absolutely cannot understand the good reviews. The staff is very friendly, but the food is middling standard at best. The pizza is a ready-made dough, the schnitzel comes from the deep fryer. My child didn't like the chicken nuggets because they hung in the fryer for too long. Better a small menu but high quality food that is worth the money! Attention: No card payment possible!

Four of us went to dinner at Strandperle on Good Friday. The food deserves 5 stars. It was very, very cold. The heating turned off. We had to eat quickly, it was cold and totally uncomfortable.

First of all, the ambience: the tablecloths are not necessary. Has the fler from a harbor bar in Hamburg. The owner should make better use of the location. You can get a lot out of it all year round (if you put in the effort). The LED strips, which should be torn off immediately, do not fit at all. Indirect light would make it more comfortable. The toilets: sink broken, no towels to dry your hands, people peed next to the urinal and the other one didn't have a vent for flushing. We ordered pizza, which was delivered quickly, too quickly for me (pizza Zack ready in the oven?). The pizza was really a bit too dry and you tasted the flavor enhancer more than the ingredients on the pizza. I won't eat there again and can't recommend it.

Sehr zufrieden mit der Pizza. Kann man nur empfehlen. Wir hatten uns am Abend kurzfristig entschlossen Pizza am Strand zu essen und haben und von den Bewertungen hier hinreißen lassen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Personal sehr freundlich. Einfache und schnelle Bestellung. Pizzen waren innerhalb von 15min fertig. Preis war auch Okay. Für die Größe und auch den erstaunlich vielen Belag war hier ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis gegeben. Speisen zum vor Ort essen aber auch mitnehmen möglich. Bei einem Spaziergang einen Tag zuvor hatten wir das Lokal bereits gesehen, aber das Ambiente war nicht all zu einladend Mut den improvisierten Zeltfolien als Wind und regenschutz des Biergartens. Aber der Innenraum kann sich schon eher sehen lassen. Alles eher rustikal aber das hat seinen Charme.

Sehr guter Service und das Essen immer gut

Wir sind jetzt zum 6.ten mal in Heiligenhafen und wie immer jeden Abend in der Strandperle. Das Ambiente könnte etwas besser sein aber ganz ehrlich ich gehe dort zum Essen hin und nicht um mich satt zu sehen an dem Mobiliar. Die Preise sind human, und das Essen megalecker. Wir hatten bis jetzt noch nie ein Gericht was nicht geschmeckt hat. Die Bedienung ist auch super freundlich, egal ob Chefin, Chef oder Kellner*innen.

Also, wir sind seit 6 Jahren in Heiligenhafen und wir gehen jedes Jahr zur Strandperle essen. Sicherlich sind geschmäcker verschieden aber für mich ist es dort immer mega lecker gewesen. Preis Leistung ist absolut super. Man bekommt dort für rellativ kleines geld reichlig zu Essen. Vom Ambiente her gleicht es zwar mehr einem Imbis und man könnte bestimmt mehr draus machen ABER mit der freundlichkeit und dem geschmack des Essens macht es einiges gut ! Uns gefällt es dort seeeeehr gut !!!

Das Essen hat einfach so gut geschmeckt das wir nur noch dort gegessen haben und uns durch die Speisekarte probiert haben. Die Preise waren auch total in Ordnung und das Restaurant liegt fast direkt am Strand. Im Außenbereich konnte man den Sonnenuntergang und das Meer sehen.

Erstmal wirkt die strandperle wie ein kleiner Imbiss an der Ostsee aber davon sollte man sich nicht täuschen lassen. Ich habe dort bisher nur die indischen Gerichte probiert, alle samt zu empfehlen und Portionen zum satt werden. Aber was ich bei den andern Gästen gesehen habe, von Fisch bis Pizza sahen auch gut aus. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Nettes kleines Restaurant. Sehr viel Auswahl an Essen, große Karte, für ein so kleines Restaurant. Aber, sehr lecker und gute Portionen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und freundlich. Waren heute nochmal dort essen, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder, und müssen ehrlich sagen, Top, top, top. Kinder waren zufrieden und wir auch.

Die Pizza 🍕 ist sehr zu empfehlen. Absolut lecker 😋. Wir haben zum mitnehmen bestellt, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und wir mussten auch nur 15 Minuten warten.
