One star too many. If you don't want to be given a second glance by the service outside, you're welcome to go to this restaurant. We left after neighboring tables were being cleared and cashed, and we weren't noticed by either the male or female staff for 25 minutes. Incidentally, after 7 p.m., only five tables were occupied. Additionally, as we were leaving, the rather listless-looking waiter asked us if we wanted something to eat. We then had an excellent meal 30 meters away and received extremely friendly service.

The food is good, but you wait forever for everything. You wait forever for your drink order, for the drinks, and for the food. I went in for the bill half an hour after I let them know I wanted to pay and nothing happened (like all the other guests), only to be told after another 10 minutes that card payments weren't accepted. Unfortunately, the service is completely overwhelmed.

Mega delicious and very calm atmosphere. The staff are professionals in their field. Today, we ordered two takeaway pizzas from the restaurant. After 20 minutes, we went home with a delicious pizza in the busy evening crowd. We haven't had a better pizza in any of the tourist resorts in East Holstein. A 10/10 for taste! Well-filled and a fair price. I can't say much about the ambiance, but around the holiday park, this restaurant stands out for its full tables. It seems to be a good restaurant.

We were on vacation two weeks ago. We ate there every evening. A huge compliment to the chef. Every meal was delicious 😋. The two waiters and waitress were very friendly and nice. We'll eat there again on our next vacation. 👍

In my opinion, offering a frozen schnitzel in a restaurant is completely unacceptable; the portions are ridiculous. I also ordered a shrimp salad, and I assumed I'd get a decent portion of salad and not just three leaves, and only frozen shrimp. The price-performance ratio is absolutely terrible. Once, never again.

Although the food is often very good, it varies depending on the number of customers. When it's busy, the burgers might be a bit too dark or the pizza a bit too soft. Otherwise, it's really tasty, and there's a wide selection.

The service: The gentleman should be replaced or hired elsewhere. Very unfriendly and disinterested. Food: The burger was good, the fries were way too salty. The fish and fried potatoes weren't. The restaurant wasn't very clean. The prices weren't exactly reasonable for what you get.

Even if you have a restaurant in a holiday resort, you should be friendly to your customers. This, of course, also applies to customers being friendly to the staff. Unfortunately, we can't say much about the ambiance, as we ordered takeaway. However, friendliness is extremely important to us, as we always treat people kindly. For this reason, we won't be coming back.

Ordered pizzas for takeaway. The shop was packed, and it was really busy. I was able to pick up within 15 minutes and received very friendly and courteous service. The pizza tasted great! Not soggy, not biscuity, and not salty. A truly top-notch place for takeaway food for guests staying at the holiday park. Keep up the good work!

Delicious, fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared, fantastically delicious. The burgers are huge with juicy meat. My daughter's vegetarian burger was apparently so good that she was still nagging me about it a day later..... I've never tasted fried potatoes and fries like that before - juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside. My wife's baked potato was very large and tender, the vegetables fresh and crispy. My schnitzel with fried potatoes and spicy paprika and corn sauce totally won me over. The portions were large and I was able to try everything except the vegetarian burger. For years we've eaten several hundred meters away but that's no longer the case now - the four of us have changed our minds because here the customer gets a meal prepared with love and friendly staff for their money.

Hunger drives you in. The burgers were too cold. The hunter's sauce with the schnitzel tasted like plastic.

I found this restaurant unpleasant. The tables were still dirty and sticky from the previous diners. The staff were unfocused. The cutlery and drink were wrong. The pasta carbonara tasted exactly like Maggi from a packet. The salt in the salt shaker was sticky, as was the pepper. I wouldn't go to this restaurant again.

The food is good. The ambiance is also good. It has a beautiful view of the inland lake in Heiligenhafen. But the service really needs improvement. It took about 20 minutes to get a menu. Then another 20 minutes to order. But the food arrived quickly. Overall, it was okay.

The Holstein-style schnitzel was very lost with a single fried egg. I didn't like the fried potatoes; there was no salt or pepper. My son's fries, on the other hand, were completely oversalted—yes, that seems possible. Overall, the food was below average. The portion size was below average. The two complimentary shots, unfortunately, couldn't disguise the quality.

Disappointing. Very small portions, a disinterested waiter, and we felt unwelcome. It took 15 minutes to take our orders. Especially with two small children, it was awful. We ordered fried potatoes with schnitzel. The schnitzel was okay, it was frozen, but the fried potatoes were a joke. Three forks and we were done. I've rarely gotten so little and left the place feeling unfull. I'd rather go to the Greek restaurant two shops down...

We ate at the Strandmuschel today. We both ordered the Holstein schnitzel with fried potatoes. It was delicious. The service was also very friendly, and we even had a glass of ouzo to finish.

Takeaway food inedible. Spaghetti pasta overcooked to pulp and dripping with water and Mexican schnitzel poorly seasoned. Food cold because the staff didn't have time to serve it. Generally poor.

The portion was sufficient and very tasty. Generally the prices are fair. A nice restaurant for every day when the kitchen at home stays cold.

We ordered food to pick up and found a clean and nice atmosphere as well as very nice and friendly employees. The schnitzels were very good, and the fried potatoes also tasted good after adding salt. We are good eaters and would have liked a little more, but we were full. From our point of view, the meatballs were the only big negative point. The taste is only made from pork and with lots of bread. It is also worth mentioning that our special request was implemented. Thanks also for the free ouzu during the short waiting time until the dishes were ready.

We were in the beach shelter on New Year's Eve. Nice atmosphere, quiet and very welcoming. When my order was delivered incorrectly, the correct order was immediately remade and they took care of it very understandingly. Good wine and the pizza is good too.

A medium-sized restaurant with outdoor seating and a view of the inland lake. International cuisine is offered. We were skeptical at first because of the variety of dishes, but we were proven wrong. We were there several times and tried many dishes. Whether pasta (tortellini), pizza, fish (fried and herring), schnitzel and salad, all dishes were delicious and attractively prepared. Price/performance definitely fits. The service was attentive, quick and friendly. Ambiance is partly a matter of taste, but all in all it's cozy. Only the grease stains on the walls next to the tables, caused by careless guests, are rather disturbing. Conclusion: I would recommend it again at any time and with a clear conscience.

For me, the Strandmuschel restaurant is not a restaurant, but rather a snack bar. The food is okay but not more than that. The frozen schnitzel looks better than it is. Fried potatoes come out of the bag. Pizza is okay so far. If you like it, you can order here, but it's just a delivery shop like everywhere else

We ate very well and tasty, the food came very quickly. Price/performance ratio absolutely reasonable, staff very friendly and accommodating. There was an aperitif and nightcap on the house (and before and after the bill too 😉). We liked it, we'll definitely be back. Absolutely recommended!!!

We went surfing at the sea and in the evening our bellies were hungry. We ordered pizza “to go” and all three pizzas were delicious! Fluffy dough, delicious topping! It also seemed quite child-friendly. Next time we're there we'll definitely eat pizza there again.

Pretty nice here, but unfortunately drinks were served small instead of large. Unfortunately, the large pizza was very small and the appetizer was unfortunately completely forgotten. If you go there, everyone has to make their own impression.

The pizzas were freshly topped and extremely tasty, the dough and especially the crust were perfect. Caprese was plentiful with good mozzarella (not that rubbery cheap cheese blend). Our expectations were exceeded and we are happy to recommend the beach shelter. Please stay like this and maintain your quality. We'd love to come back.

Very tasty food, nice staff. Portions are plentiful. Pork steak is juicy and delicious. The pizza is handmade. The burgers are a feast for the eyes. The only negative point is that it's very crowded at peak times and there are longer waiting times, which I'm happy to accept. Child friendly.

My Wildberry Lillet was very good and quite strong, a good mix ;) But we didn't lack for alcohol that evening anyway. Before and after the meal everyone was given a delicious ouzo from the friendly waitress. In general we were well looked after and I haven't had such good pizza in a long time. The fries with the burger were also really good. The ambience was pleasant, we sat outside in light rain but it was very nice. All in one a great little restaurant with very tasty food and friendly service. You have to know.

Good child friendly restaurant near the beach. Had dinner here with our children. Along with the menus, the boys received coloring books and crayons. This way they were able to shorten the waiting time. The children's special requests were also easily addressed. The pizza here is very tasty, well topped and reasonably priced. Can highly recommend the beach shelter, especially with children.
