Asia Fam in Heiligenhafen

So… I ordered Thai red curry, vegan. It arrived piping hot (delivery), the portion was large, and the price was very reasonable. It was absolutely delicious, and the ingredients tasted fresh. Don't be put off by the restaurant window; it has a huge advertising banner on it that looks a bit old-fashioned to me. But the food was traditional and top-notch, so thank you! :)

So far, we've ordered from them twice, and everything arrived piping hot, something other delivery services can't manage! The portions are definitely generous; they don't skimp on the food. The only minor criticism is the personal contact; the woman on the phone gave the impression that we were bothering her with our order. Then, during the delivery, she seemed rushed, which also affected her friendliness. Overall, though, we still recommend them, as there's a good selection for vegetarians too. I can't comment on the ambiance, as my review is solely based on the delivery service.

Update November 2025 I feel very comfortable here. The food is always excellent and cooked to perfection. Update February 2025 I'm happy that more and more guests are coming and appreciating the good food. It was very, very delicious again. Update December 2024 I love your food and your warm hospitality. Update February 2024 I love this bistro. Family-run, everything is freshly prepared. Everything is delicious and arrives piping hot. I love coming here on vacation. The value for money is excellent. Very tasty and plentiful food. Excellent value for money. Many tradespeople appreciate this. The restaurant's ambiance seems well-designed: tasteful decorations, beautifully set tables, and lush greenery in the window. You order at a small counter, and the food is served at your table. Outside of peak season, the restaurant isn't too crowded at lunchtime, so it's easy to find a free table. I got a recommendation from a colleague and was definitely not disappointed. Plenty of food at a reasonable price.

This was our first time here, but we often come to Heilgenhafen. It's always nice here! It was the start of the school holidays and the family restaurant was very busy. But we still had two takeaways for 30 euros. The food was very hot, even at home, I almost burned myself. It was a really nice place despite being very busy. We'll be back at the family restaurant, that's for sure. SUPERB VALUE FOR MONEY, UNBEATABLE 👍 I can't think of a better one! Highly recommended!

I've been vacationing in Großenbrode for over 15 years, and I've only just discovered the restaurant in Heiligenhafen. What can I say? It was soooo delicious, with huge portions and great prices. If there were more stars to give, I would give it even more. I'll definitely eat there again next time.

I just ordered vegetables with peanut sauce and got rice with peanut sauce. They specifically asked for it, and I said no rice. I drove all the way there for that. Really annoying.

I work in Hamburg, but I live in Heiligenhafen. I visited this place for the first time about three months ago. My first impression was so strange. I can't communicate well in German yet and it was hard for me to find my way around. The first time I took food with me. I remember it was 1. Peking Suppe and dish Nr.50. I ate it by the sea and I said to myself, wow. Later, I was with a colleague when I tried to eat the food directly at Asia Fam. It was great, fresh and perfectly hot, which proved that the food was made a few seconds before it was brought to me. Then I went back there again a few weeks later. But I always have Peking Suppe. I love this soup from the time I lived in Slovakia. I couldn't find a soup like I liked in Slovakia anywhere, and here in Heiligenhafen, which I adore, I found it. Exactly the way I like it. Two days ago I was at Asia Fam again, this time I didn't plan on it. I was out for a walk with my MiniYork, but when we passed Asia Fam I couldn't resist. First I asked if I could go in with my four-legged friend. The answer was yes. They had me 100% at that moment. As usual I ordered Peking Suppe and No. 41 from the menu. Again the food was hot and fresh. It seems that Asia Fam is a family business and I felt that way there. My return to Heiligenhafen after my working days in Hamburg will always include a delicious and high-quality meal at Asia Fam.

The food is excellent, piping hot from the first forkful to the last, not just warm like at other restaurants. Huge portions, excellent value for money, super tasty. I had the Peking soup, the best I've ever eaten, and the S1 Eight Treasures, super delicious. I couldn't eat it all, so I had it packed up 🤣 My husband had the 60-degree crispy duck chop suey. He was also surprised by the large portion and kept commenting on how hot and fresh it was served, and how it stayed hot until the last bite. The decor was modern, attractive, cozy, and clean; we felt very comfortable here. The service was friendly and funny. We can highly recommend Asia Fam, and we will definitely be back. Cash only, which wasn't a problem for us, but is a significant consideration for cardholders.

Really delicious food and super-large portions—you'll definitely be full! My recommendation: definitely try No. 25. It's cozy inside and you feel at home. The only downside: card payments aren't accepted, so it's best to bring cash. Otherwise, really great!

We ordered through Lieferando. The food was delicious, portions were good, and hot. The driver was very friendly. The only downside was a two-hour wait, despite a delivery date stated as being between 20 and 45 minutes.

We've been coming to Heiligenhafen for many years, but we've never ordered or picked up anything here. What a mistake. We ordered through Lieferando (noodles with vegetables and baked chicken). The very friendly employee arrived 10 minutes earlier than promised (even though it was dinner time). The food was very hot and a huge portion, enough for tomorrow. We've eaten many Asian noodles, and the ones from Asia Fam were truly the best. Not overly seasoned, lots of vegetables, and the chicken was very good. The taste was absolutely fantastic and highly recommended. The packaging was excellent, and it arrived warm to the recipient. We'll be happy to come back and order again.

The fried noodles were delicious and the portions generous. Unfortunately, the wonton wrappers were very greasy, hence only four stars.

It doesn't say whether the dish is noodles or rice. Then, when paying for the overnight stay, they charged an extra €2.99 because they used noodles instead of rice. It doesn't matter, both cost the same. A complete rip-off.

For a delivery service with a small dining area, the food is very tasty. You choose your food from the menu (flyer) and order at the counter. Drinks are taken from the fridge. Large portions and very tasty.

Super delicious! We had a Peking soup followed by the chicken yellow curry. Both dishes were 10/10! Super tasty and plenty of meat and vegetables. The sauce was just right, the meat was very juicy, and the soup was the best I've had in quite some time. I would recommend everyone to come here. :)

No longer As a local, I have been a regular customer since 2015 and have always been satisfied until 2024. The catastrophic (food?)...whatever...has mutated into an oversized soup and is called 8 Treasures. I am incredibly disappointed. The fork drowns in water and various things Meat, whether duck, pork, chicken... the shrimp also have the taste of the soup. That was it for me...

I can't say anything about the ambience because we ordered the food online to the motorhome parking space. The delivery took place within the specified time and was delivered really “hot”. In terms of taste, the food was an experience and the portion was so generous that we were able to enjoy it the following day. For us there is definitely a “risk of repeat”😋

It has changed dramatically for the worse. Hardly any fresh vegetables, canned mushrooms, etc. Still flavor enhancers, no homemade spring rolls, meat, etc. China wholesale. There is a Vietnamese on Fehmarn, the best thing ever. This is fresh and authentic. And the price is right.

Good morning.... Taste is debatable. We were there quite often. The location is more of a snack bar, with plenty of seating on site. Not wrong at all. The duck was always available at a stable price. Plus soup and baked wontons. 2 people with drinks around and up to 40€ The sauces are problematic, as are the soups unfortunately. There's nothing wrong with eating salt, but if your mouth dries out while eating, eating is no longer fun. Unfortunately it was so salty that you couldn't finish eating it. We got a little discount, which unfortunately didn't make the cabbage any cheaper, since we didn't even eat half of it per plate. So unfortunately the last two visits were not the best memories.😞 Nevertheless, everyone has their bad day. New Year New luck, We'll try it again this year.
