The food was very good and the portions were enough for two people. The service was friendly and always present at the right time without being intrusive. Great price-performance ratio.

Extremely tasty, juicy and well-seasoned roast beef from Black Angus beef. Unfortunately the Gargrat was not queried. Luckily for me, a perfectly medium rare, to medium rare piece of meat was served. Side dishes were mushrooms, onions and fried potatoes. It tasted very tasty, a bit expensive, but appropriate for the quality offered. The ambience of the restaurant is from the last century, just like I used to visit with my parents on summer vacation 30 to 35 years ago😅 Thanks for the delicious food and the retro vibes.👍

The food is reasonable, middle-class cuisine, but the price is a bit over the top. Unfortunately, only one star can be awarded for service: unfriendly in tone, gestures and serving (except for one employee, who saves the star). Given the prices quoted, one expects a minimum level of respect towards the customer.

It's a little more expensive, but we've always had a good meal here - the restaurant is in a great location! You have to visit it once!

Location, location, location! This restaurant is so beautifully located directly on the sea that you can forgive the slight casualness when eating. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of fish dishes, so my rating might be different here. It's not just fish that's very important on the menu, but also the selection of these dishes. But... I had a schnitzel, I love schnitzel! The schnitzel with mushrooms, crabs and hollandaise sauce. As I said, I love schnitzel, a good schnitzel has to be fried in a lot of fat, but it doesn't have to drown in it afterwards! The hollandaise was obviously not homemade, which is a shame. But I found the schnitzel delicious, except for the above mentioned circumstance. The service was extremely attentive, so I can only give it top marks. However, my conclusion can only be: go there, enjoy an ice cream sundae or another little something, or even lunch, but above all the view! Have fun

Went here 4 times within 14 days and each time we were not only full but also happy and satisfied. All of the dishes we ate, no, thoroughly enjoyed, were excellent and plentiful. The service was very friendly and attentive, it was just great. As a minor criticism, the outdoor area/terrace with sea views could use some love. We will come here again on our next vacation and enjoy it.

We are regular visitors to the “Zur Düne” restaurant. If you decide on a farmer's breakfast at lunchtime, you can relax and leave all the "food stalls" behind until the evening. Not only is the quantity right, but also the quality. She hasn't let up over the years. The practically boneless, fried cod (Hambuger Pannfisch) with fried potatoes and mustard sauce is also an absolute poem. My absolute recommendation! Yummy...

We were in Grömitz for a day and reserved a table in the “Zur Düne” for the evening. The reservation by phone went smoothly. Due to the not so nice weather, we had a table in the winter garden with a view of the Baltic Sea. The service is very friendly, the drinks and food were received quickly and brought quickly. The menu is very good, everyone will find their favorite dish here. When we're at home, of course we have fish...👍 All 5 dishes we ordered were very good and really plentiful...👍 Top fried fish, great sauces and very good fried potatoes. All in all a really nice evening with delicious food. We can absolutely recommend “Zur Düne” and will definitely come back on our next visit home.

We've eaten here often but today we weren't satisfied. The Back Camenbert was way too crispy. The schnitzel with hunter's sauce, fries and salad was totally boring and we didn't like it. The service was good as always.

We were on vacation with friends and can only recommend the restaurant. It is located on Lenster Beach. We had a table in the winter garden with a great view of the beach and water. The food was cooked to perfection and very saucy. The service was attentive and friendly. That wasn't our last visit.

For us it was a successful end to the day... quiet restaurant with a terrace and a great view... staff who serve you in a friendly manner and a meal that not only fills you up but also tastes really delicious... there were two great, well-kept aquariums on the way to the toilets... and When I went back, I looked at the guest room and the winter garden... everything seemed very well-kept and clean... I had the dog on the terrace and I can't say whether he was allowed inside... but there was water outside for the animal, I could imagine that the 4-legged friend is also allowed in😊

Is a restaurant between Grömitz and Kellenhusen. Became aware of this through other holidaymakers. Food was very tasty. The service was also good. If we go on holiday in the area again we will definitely stop there again.

Direct beach location on the Baltic Sea. Very nice terrace, friendly and humorous service. Very pleasant for dog owners. There are very tasty food and drinks to accompany the sea view.

An absolute top address for good food and delicious drinks! The journey is worth it... Some cosmetic work could be done outside.

As always, the food was very tasty and plentiful. The selection is varied, although one or two vegetarian dishes would be good on the menu. However, special requests are gladly accepted, so far we have always fed even your vegetarians. Unfortunately, a very big UNFORTUNATELY, iceberg lettuce with yogurt sauce is no longer available. As simple as the salad was, it also tasted refreshing. This was the best salad between the Baltic and North Seas.

The portions are very large. Fried potatoes instead of fries for an additional charge. Upper price range.

A very nice restaurant and the food was great. It was our last day of vacation and the end was worth it.

We ate very well there. Friendly staff and rented us a beach chair there. Gladly again, very friendly. We'd love to come back.

The star is for the great location and the great view. The food was subpar. The fish just tasted like it was fatty. Do you know that situation when the jacket potatoes stand around for a while, become firm on the outside and then are heated in the microwave??? 🤢 Fried potatoes were also warmed up in the microwave. Hollandaise sauce from the Tetra Pack Salad...... Well, it's a matter of taste! By the way, the visit was in 2019!

We really had a great meal here. Our starter was shrimp with salad and the main course was fried salmon fillet with vegetables, baked potato and sour cream and cod with Greenland shrimp, parsley potatoes and hollandaise sauce. It was super delicious, the main course was really huge, the service was super hard-working, very friendly, fast and attentive. We really liked everything and can recommend it. You should definitely make a reservation!

We've eaten here a few times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. It was the same yesterday, staff super friendly and accommodating, large portion of food (there was no room for dessert) and super tasty. The view of the Baltic Sea from the winter garden rounds off the perfect evening.

Everything great. Food and service top.

Ordered a grill plate that is not an ordinary grill plate. A juicy rum steak, a very good turkey stick, a breathtaking pork medallion and three times Kreuter butter for each piece of meat. A little bit of each and no standard fries and djuvet rice but a large baked potato with lots of tzatziki. I've rarely eaten anything like that.

On Easter Monday we had the opportunity to eat in this restaurant right on the beach. We can absolutely recommend it. Very good selection of dishes. The four of us enjoyed the fish menu. Even though it was busy, we didn't have to wait long. The drinks were served to us quickly. The fish dishes we ordered were really delicious, everything was nice and hot, large portions, and the salad was super fresh. Many thanks to the service and the kitchen, very attentive and friendly. We would like to come again.

Today we were guests at the restaurant "Zur Düne" for a birthday dinner with 13 people. There was plenty of parking space in the large parking lot. We were greeted very friendly by the service staff and were shown to our table in the winter garden with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. We and 13 guests ordered everything from fish, steak and pasta in all variations. The dishes tasted very tasty. The steak was extremely tender and cooked to perfection as ordered. All guests also enjoyed the various fish and pasta dishes. The portions were very large. The price/performance ratio was right. All in all a successful, lovely visit. We are looking forward to the next time.

Both in and out of season you can eat, drink and enjoy coffee and cake here. In summer you can also sit on the terrace facing the sea. Even on New Year's Eve we were able to spend a nice evening here with food ala carte. We would definitely like to come back

Went in on New Year's Eve without registering. Very nice staff. Everything went smoothly and we were told we could have the table by 6:30 p.m. We find clear words very good. The food is simply a pleasure. Compliments to the entire team. We will stop there this year when we are in Grömitz. Have a nice holiday.

Wir waren früher immer schon in dem Restaurant. Das Essen war immer sehr gut. Jetzt, Jahre später waren wir wieder dort. Das Essen war wie immer sehr gut und die Portionen waren sehr groß. Der Kellner, der uns schon vor 28 Jahren das erste Mal bedient hat, war immer noch da und war immer noch genauso höflich und zuvorkommend. Die Aquarien im Eingangsbereich sind ein Highlight für jedes Kind. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder herkommen.

Leckere Hausmannskost direkt am Meer. Sehr freundlicher Service. Update zu winterlicher Zeit: Auch die Wildgerichte sind ein Traum geschmacklich und sehr reichhaltig. Geheimtipp in Grömitz.

Tolles Essen und netter Service. Gern wieder

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und das Aquarium ein Hingucker, gleich am Eingang. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, sowie aufmerksam. Die Speisen sind Super lecker und nett dekoriert. Preis/Leistung passt für die heutige Zeit. Ratsam wäre eine Tischreservierung, denn bei uns im November, war es sehr gut gefüllt. Da es sehr nah am Stellplatz Achtern Diek liegt, sieht man sehr viele bekannte Gesichter vom SP. Einzig der Parkplatz, der könnte mal etwas ebener gemacht werden.

Gutes, bürgerliches Essen. Personal könnte freundlicher sein. Tolle Location direkt am Strand mit schöner Terrasse.

Das Essen war ganz gut, aber auch ziemlich teuer. Dafür war es jetzt auch nicht überragend. Die Aussicht aufs Meer ist cool, aber dadurch, dass eine weitere Reihe Tische zwischen uns war, hatte man da auch nicht viel von. Die Bedienung war etwas reserviert und es hat auch ganz schön gedauert bis das Essen kam, allerdings war es auch ziemlich voll.

Nach einem Strandspaziergang hatte ich einen Kaffee und einen Krokant-Becher. Sehr lecker mit vielen Walnuss-Stücken! Gerne wieder!

Also der Kuchen war klasse, der Kaffee unterirdisch. Der Service war freundlich, aber bitte , eine halbe Stunde nach Eröffnung darf die Kleidung der Bedienung nicht so schmutzig ausssegen. Flecken auf Weste und Hose, dass macht keine Lust auf einen erneuten Besuch.

Wer leckere Fischgerichte essen möchte, muss dieses Restautrant besuchen. Selten so gut Fisch gegessen! Das Service-Personal hat jeden Gast zurückhaltend, aber aufmerksam im Blick! Oft wird man, in anderen Restaurants, sobald Essen und Trinken aufgetragen wurden, als Gast nicht mehr beachtet und muss sich durch winken bemerkbar machen, wenn man noch einen Wunsch hat. Hier kommt der Service von alleine an den Tisch und fragt nach. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das Ambiente! Das Restaurant ist schon ziemlich "in die Jahre gekommen" und bedarf einer Aufpeppung! Aber das ist meine ganz persönliche Meinung und nicht entscheidend für die ansonsten hohe Qualität!

Der Besitzer hat mit seinem Restaurant "Zur Düne" einen Goldgrube eröffnet. Hinter dem Deich, vor den Dünen gelegen, hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf die Ostsee. Das Essen war immer sehr gut, egal wann wir dort waren, nur mit der Tischreservierung hat es 3x nicht geklappt. Trotzdem hatten wir Glück und bekamen einen Tisch zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Vielleicht lag es an dem ungewohnten Nachname, der Probleme bereitete obwohl er jedesmal buchstabiert wurde, keine Ahnung! Auffallend war, dass sehr viele Gäste mit ihren Hunden vor Ort waren. Ob es wirklich von Nöten ist für einen Restaurantbesuch seinen Hund mitzubringen bleibt dahingestellt, aber wenn es zwischen 2 Hundebesitzer zu einer lautstarken Auseinandersetzung kommt, sollte der Besitzer überdenken ob er nicht doch einschreiten sollte auf irgendeine Art und Weise?! Alles in allem ist dieses Restaurant ein Besuch wert, obwohl an allen von uns besuchten Tage eindeutig zu viele Hunde (1-3 pro Besitzer) anwesend waren und dem Service regelrecht eine Umrundung manchmal zugemutet wurde.

Super leckeres Essen! Mega groß Portionen und ein super Service. Sehr freundlicher Kellner, der noch mit Herzblut arbeitet. Kommen gerne wieder! 5 Sterne sind noch zu wenig.
