Very good food, huge portions at standard prices (good value for money). Friendly staff, the restaurant was busy. The conservatory was very pleasant, not too noisy, and the seating wasn't too crowded.

That was another delight. The asparagus with Holsteiner Katenschinken (smoked ham) is highly recommended.

In my opinion, the portions were far too large, and the orange slice on every dish was unnecessary. It simply imparted too much flavor, and my salad tasted only of orange. The fried potatoes were okay (without bacon, if requested). The ambiance was rather sober, but I liked the aquariums. It's certainly nice to sit outside if the weather is nice. This review is, of course, purely subjective. I won't be going back.

Dinner is always great. Now we're (finally) having breakfast again. And it's incredibly good. A huge selection and super delicious. It's a real shame we're not always in Grömitz.

A classic restaurant with a 70s feel. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The chef could do something, if only he would leave out the crispy coating and the excess sauces. All in all, stuck in time. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Unfortunately very disappointed… after the recessions we were hoping for a nice evening with good food. However, we were very disappointed because it was mainly frozen food that was only nicely presented.

Unfortunately only frozen food. Tomato soup tasted like a tetra pack. The mixed vegetables and the fish tasted very much like frozen food. Turkey was just emotionlessly dry. Diluted the mustard sauce from the fish. The fried potatoes are also more industrial than fresh. We were very irritated by the previous 4.4 stars. The criticism wasn't really addressed either.

A classic. The restaurant has been around for a long time, and so has iceberg salad with sweet yogurt sauce. Always a Holland tomato with it 🍅unfortunately the food wasn't good the last few times. Service is really professional. The view from the annex is of course also good.

A very good restaurant outside of Grömitz. Below the restaurant there are beach chairs directly on the Baltic Sea. Prices in the upper segment. Easy to reach by car and bike. Plenty of parking spaces available.

Our visit to Zur Düne - Natural Beach Kitchen was a real experience that we will not soon forget. This beach kitchen combines the best cuisine with an incomparable atmosphere directly on the Baltic Sea. Everything is really right here: from the quality of the food to the ambience to the friendly service. Service and Hospitality: The entire team is incredibly warm and attentive. You can feel that the employees are happy and that the well-being of the guests is important to them. We received excellent care throughout our visit, and special requests were met without any problems. The personal and authentic nature of the service makes the visit even more special. Conclusion: Zur Düne - Naturstrandküche is a real insider tip on the Baltic Sea and we were completely impressed. The mix of great food, breathtaking ambience and excellent service makes this restaurant a special highlight. We can recommend it to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable culinary experience in nature. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Sorry, but unfortunately I have to be very direct again: I don't understand how the previous recessions came about. We were guests with 4 people and apart from the drinks, the food wasn't even a grade 4!!! Shrimp from the freezer with dip and salad pre-cut from the bag, it was all floating in fat/oil, just like the fish, other than the massive taste of fat, there was no other taste. The baked potato was so full of sour cream that it dripped off the edge of the plate. The eye is there, no trace. The price/performance ratio is an absolute disaster. 2 dishes + 1 orange juice spritzer + 1 Cola Zero, some please ask for €82. 😥 We let a lot go back, so we didn't eat it because it was simply inedible. I don't know if our bar is set too high, but then please don't ask for €82. Conclusion and I rarely write this: No goodbye!!! Not recommended!!! 🤷🏼‍♂️ SORRY!

The atmosphere right on the Baltic Sea is really beautiful. The food on the entire beach promenade is expensive, that should be clear to everyone. In our case the portion was very large and also very tasty. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately we had a lot of wasps on and around the table. Bottom line, worth a visit.

1 star for the reasonably clean and solid washrooms. Otherwise, unfortunately I can't say anything positive; The service is rude, distant and, above all, inattentive. Many of the suspected seasonal workers spoke German poorly. They probably think, as is often the case in exposed locations, that there are always enough tourists anyway. If you're not one - but from the area - places like this just annoy you. Let's start with the good news: if you're really hungry, this is the place for you. Very large portions. The staff was also so friendly. On the way to the toilet I could also see that the atmosphere in the restaurant was really pleasant. We sat outside. And everything seemed very loveless there. We ordered currywurst/fries and panfish/fried potatoes. Well, the fries are totally over salted, the fish and fried potatoes are very, very greasy. Unfortunately for us overall no more than three stars.

It was a wonderful evening. The view of the beach and the Baltic Sea is unbeatable. No mass tourism on site, but a waiter who takes good care of the well-being of his guests. The food itself was more than sufficient and tasted excellent. I can only recommend it.

Was there for dinner with my brother. My rump steak was pretty tough for €32.50. In addition, the fried potatoes were very fatty and only fried very briefly. The hospitality also left a lot to be desired. When we had finished eating and were covered, we were not given anything new to drink. On the contrary, we were skillfully ignored by the waiters for over 30 minutes. Started weak and slowed down a lot.

Extremely tasty, juicy and well-seasoned roast beef from Black Angus beef. Unfortunately the Gargrat was not queried. Luckily for me, a perfectly medium rare, to medium rare piece of meat was served. Side dishes were mushrooms, onions and fried potatoes. It tasted very tasty, a bit expensive, but appropriate for the quality offered. The ambience of the restaurant is from the last century, just like I used to visit with my parents on summer vacation 30 to 35 years ago😅 Thanks for the delicious food and the retro vibes.👍

The food is reasonable, middle-class cuisine, but the price is a bit over the top. Unfortunately, only one star can be awarded for service: unfriendly in tone, gestures and serving (except for one employee, who saves the star). Given the prices quoted, one expects a minimum level of respect towards the customer.

Location, location, location! This restaurant is so beautifully located directly on the sea that you can forgive the slight casualness when eating. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of fish dishes, so my rating might be different here. It's not just fish that's very important on the menu, but also the selection of these dishes. But... I had a schnitzel, I love schnitzel! The schnitzel with mushrooms, crabs and hollandaise sauce. As I said, I love schnitzel, a good schnitzel has to be fried in a lot of fat, but it doesn't have to drown in it afterwards! The hollandaise was obviously not homemade, which is a shame. But I found the schnitzel delicious, except for the above mentioned circumstance. The service was extremely attentive, so I can only give it top marks. However, my conclusion can only be: go there, enjoy an ice cream sundae or another little something, or even lunch, but above all the view! Have fun

Went here 4 times within 14 days and each time we were not only full but also happy and satisfied. All of the dishes we ate, no, thoroughly enjoyed, were excellent and plentiful. The service was very friendly and attentive, it was just great. As a minor criticism, the outdoor area/terrace with sea views could use some love. We will come here again on our next vacation and enjoy it.

We are regular visitors to the “Zur Düne” restaurant. If you decide on a farmer's breakfast at lunchtime, you can relax and leave all the "food stalls" behind until the evening. Not only is the quantity right, but also the quality. She hasn't let up over the years. The practically boneless, fried cod (Hambuger Pannfisch) with fried potatoes and mustard sauce is also an absolute poem. My absolute recommendation! Yummy...

We were in Grömitz for a day and reserved a table in the “Zur Düne” for the evening. The reservation by phone went smoothly. Due to the not so nice weather, we had a table in the winter garden with a view of the Baltic Sea. The service is very friendly, the drinks and food were received quickly and brought quickly. The menu is very good, everyone will find their favorite dish here. When we're at home, of course we have fish...👍 All 5 dishes we ordered were very good and really plentiful...👍 Top fried fish, great sauces and very good fried potatoes. All in all a really nice evening with delicious food. We can absolutely recommend “Zur Düne” and will definitely come back on our next visit home.

We've eaten here often but today we weren't satisfied. The Back Camenbert was way too crispy. The schnitzel with hunter's sauce, fries and salad was totally boring and we didn't like it. The service was good as always.

We were on vacation with friends and can only recommend the restaurant. It is located on Lenster Beach. We had a table in the winter garden with a great view of the beach and water. The food was cooked to perfection and very saucy. The service was attentive and friendly. That wasn't our last visit.

For us it was a successful end to the day... quiet restaurant with a terrace and a great view... staff who serve you in a friendly manner and a meal that not only fills you up but also tastes really delicious... there were two great, well-kept aquariums on the way to the toilets... and When I went back, I looked at the guest room and the winter garden... everything seemed very well-kept and clean... I had the dog on the terrace and I can't say whether he was allowed inside... but there was water outside for the animal, I could imagine that the 4-legged friend is also allowed in😊
