Das Essen ( wir hatten alle ein Fischgericht) war gut aber nichts Besonderes. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist akzeptabel. Die Bedienung war freundlich, Sonderwünsche waren möglich. Insgesamt okay, aber mehr auch nicht.

Very good food in a nice atmosphere. The restrooms, however, are disgusting.

The restaurant is rightly rated as "best." Top location, great ambiance, and excellent food. The prices are also really reasonable and not outrageously overpriced. The service was also very friendly and prompt. Highly recommended!

I primarily visit the restaurant during the off-season. Today, June 22nd, there was a large tourist crowd, as expected. Accordingly, the staff seemed tense and only moderately friendly. The food wasn't as good as it usually is during the off-season. The fries had been in the fryer a bit too long, the medium-rare rump steak was dry and didn't seem particularly good, and overall, some of the ingredients were slightly oversalted.

For 22 euros, you get a child's portion of fried fish (3 small pieces) with fries!!! Even my husband couldn't get enough of the flame-grilled salmon with mashed potatoes, and that for 26.50 euros! Unfortunately, the worst value for money in Grömitz for us! Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend it!

Super delicious food! It was also prepared quickly. Drinks were regularly requested. Nice service. But one star deducted for the rickety changing table! We didn't put our baby on it. The left side is already drooping, which I couldn't be held responsible for.

It took about 15 minutes for the food to arrive. The schnitzel was fresh, not frozen, but not very tasty. The fried potatoes were decent, the cucumber salad was bland. Roulades were good (although small), the mashed potatoes were a bit bland, and unfortunately, the red cabbage tasted completely lousy (was there cinnamon in them?). About a third of the outdoor seating was occupied, and next to us, someone was smoking e-cigarettes, which spread across several tables. While the baby was being changed in the seating area (next to the dining guests), nothing was said either.

Highly recommended. We come to Grömitz every year and always look forward to Seaside. Very good food, pleasant atmosphere, and good service. You can sit in the covered outdoor area; fleece blankets and heat lamps are available for cold weather. The restaurant manager is very friendly and accommodating. 100% recommendation.

Wir waren dreimal im Seaside und dreimal sehr zufrieden. Alle Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und fix. Wir hatten sechs verschiedene Gerichte, die alle sehr geschmackvoll und ein wenig außergewöhnlich waren (in dem Sinne, dass sie von der 0815-Touristenküche abweichen). Direkt am "Touristenmagnet" Seebrücke hatten wir mit dieser guten Küche nicht gerechnet. Der Preis ist meines Erachtens angemessen (zumal bei der Lage).

Ein sehr aggressiver Mitarbeiter, scheinbar der Leiter motzt uns an, ich entschuldige mich, dass wir es übersehen haben, er knallte die Karten auf einen Tisch und ging, wir fragten, ob wir einen anderen Tisch bekommen könnten, waren einige frei, es hieß schlicht "nein" wir sind gegangen...

Top location right on the promenade. We sat on the sheltered terrace. The food was delicious and highly recommended. A big compliment to our server, "Locke." He joined in on all the fun. Overall, it was simply fantastic 👍 We'd love to come back!

A fantastic restaurant, top-notch food quality, truly 5-star. Great view of the sea and the beach promenade. The service, especially from the waiter nicknamed Locke, is outstanding. Great restaurant! We always sat outside on the promenade. You have to be careful that the seagulls don't steal your food :D otherwise it was really great! It tastes so good there. It's worth it! Definitely! A really great restaurant! The waitresses are also super friendly! Only recommended!

It started when my son urgently needed to go to the toilet. Despite the sign "We are not a public toilet" we were kindly shown the toilets even though we were not yet guests. Hours later, when we were looking for a restaurant for dinner, I wanted to try Seaside because of their previous friendliness. We were 4 adults, 2 children. Paid a total of 130 euros plus tip. We had the roulades, schnitzel, fish twice and fries with nuggets for the little one. The food was hot, really tasty and the waiter was very friendly. Thanks to the big, muscular gentleman, unfortunately we don't know the name. But very friendly and accommodating, so there was an appropriate tip. Thank you for the delicious food, highly recommended!

A good restaurant with classic cuisine

We stopped here with two families, and our requests varied: from drinks and coffee to cake and even a full meal. A "café and restaurant" was just what we needed. The term "café" isn't exactly appropriate here: this place isn't really about coffee and cake. The choice was between two types of cake and the typical coffee. It's a shame! The term doesn't really describe it, but you'd expect more! The hot dishes, however, were very tasty!

A very nice restaurant located in the first row overlooking the Baltic Sea. The menu is varied and appealing. The service, while friendly, was completely unprofessional; several times, empty glasses and dishes were walked past without notice (even at neighboring tables). We had a complaint about the main course. The plate was cleared away without comment, unlike the empty plate for the other main course. When we paid, the complained dish was not charged. Basically, it was perfectly fine—again, not a word was said about it.

Fresh, delicious food, good service, nice ambience in a best location. We were there two evenings in a row and would have found delicious dishes to try on other evenings.

Unfortunately the bowl was a salad, the mix of ingredients was nothing special, there was little dressing at the bottom of the bowl. Accommodation was good.

Sehr leckeres Gericht mit Steak, Trüffelpürre und wilden Brokkoli gegessen. Dazu eine super leckere Soße. Würde ich jedes Mal aufs neue bestellen. Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

The staff is generally friendly and since we have been eating dinner at Sea Side regularly on vacation for several years, the atmosphere is great. The food is excellent, both in terms of taste, selection and portions. Ambience very nice. The only downer and therefore two stars deducted: We reserved in time to get a good seat and then, while you're standing in line, the seat is changed and you're almost sitting in front of the toilet. Unnecessary and unpleasant. Unfortunately, this happens again and again with a certain employee.

The “Christmas beer garden” on the covered and heated terrace is awesome! Very cozy, delicious drinks, nice and friendly staff! Unfortunately we didn't eat anything, but we were there 3 times to "drink"! Definitely highly recommended!

Great place, great ambience, great outdoor terrace! Super cozy, especially at Christmas time, and there are very tasty drinks. However, what is not possible in my opinion is that it is tolerated there that dog owners let their pets sit on the benches, on the fur that is lying there, so that the animals also put their heads on the table and also eat from the table . I find this disturbing and extremely unhygienic. And no, it's always so crowded there that not every table is cleaned after use. That's a real shame because, as an allergy sufferer, I can't go there anymore. Tip: Bring dogs in - yes, but dogs at the table on the bench or on your lap - no.

Public parking spaces nearby at the pier forecourt, subject to charges. During the Christmas season, delicious mulled wine and homemade waffles. It's better to reserve in high season. There is no disabled-accessible entrance.

Today we had the pleasure of spending our entire staff Christmas party at Seaside Grömitz - and it was an absolute highlight! From the first minute you could feel the warm atmosphere and the commitment of the entire team. We would particularly like to highlight the fantastic waitress Anja. She is a true master of her craft: incredibly attentive, charming, and always with a smile on her face. She managed to anticipate every wish before it could be expressed and gave us an unforgettable evening. It's rare to see so much professionalism combined with warmth. The food? A dream! Fresh, creative and perfectly balanced – the dishes were a feast for the senses. The combination of the excellent cuisine, the stylish ambience and the great service makes the Seaside a real jewel on the Baltic Sea. Thank you for this wonderful evening. Great located restaurant. Very stylish and comfortably furnished inside with a wonderful view of the water. The lunch menu was very appealing to us and we were not disappointed in terms of taste or appearance. The staff was very personable and child-friendly. We can definitely recommend it.

Seaside has been a very good restaurant in a prime location for years. We have been there several times in the past. On our last visit in November 2024, we were there for lunch and had a table right by the window with a view of the pier. The food and service were impeccable. The prices are high but appropriate for the location, ambience and quality of the food. In addition to the indoor area, the outdoor area is also very comfortable and equipped with radiant heaters.

A really very nice place. Some with a direct view of the Baltic Sea...Perfect. As a starter there was a tomato soup that tasted incredibly good. The main course was pan fish with fried potatoes and salad. Here too, everything was really cooked to perfection. We would also give more stars if that were possible. The restaurant is definitely worth another visit!

The Seaside Grömitz is a really great restaurant! We were there at the end of October and were able to sit comfortably outside thanks to the heated terrace, but then decided to sit inside - with a fantastic view of the pier. The service was super warm and attentive. We enjoyed mulled wine with the pumpkin soup and the freshly baked waffles, and everything was simply delicious! The menu has a great selection that has something for every taste. We would definitely like to come back. Absolute recommendation!

We are in Grömitz for a siblings weekend and decided to have dinner at SeaSide yesterday. We both had the fried fish with fried potatoes and homemade tartar sauce. The fish was a dream, the fried potatoes were perfect and the tartar sauce rounded the whole thing off perfectly. A cucumber salad was served with it, which went well with the meal. Afterwards there was a warm apple and cinnamon punch, which was really delicious. The service was friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was really nice, we will definitely come back when we are in Grömitz again.

Wir waren zweimal zum Essen dort in diesem Urlaub das Restaurant hat uns begeistert. Auf Wünsche wird sofort eingegangen. Leider haben wir das Restaurant jetzt erst entdeckt . Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen . Die Kellner sind alle super freundlich und das Essen wirklich hervorragend. Definitiv ein Restaurant was empfehlenswert ist .

Had pre-booked a table a few days before for 7:00 p.m. The table and the time were confirmed to us three times. When we showed up at 6:50 p.m., we were told that we didn't reserve the table until 7:30 p.m. We are lying here because we had reserved two more places the day before and had the time confirmed several times. We were able to take our place at 7:35 p.m. and had to wait over an hour for our food after ordering. There were seven of us and none of us had an extravagant meal. I had pork fillet with fried potatoes and grilled vegetables. I had to look for the vegetables and the fillet was very dry. The fried potatoes tasted good. Overall, I found my food lacking. Since I was invited, I didn't say anything out of respect for the host. The waiters were friendly and the atmosphere is very nice, which is why I gave it two stars. I can't make a recommendation. In my opinion, the saying “more appearance than reality” applies here.

But what happened next was outstanding; Simply mega: the service employee came to me without being asked and offered to simply exchange the dish I had delivered for the dish I wanted! 🤗🤗🤗🤗…I had never experienced anything like that in my many years of restaurant experience!!!!! You can go back here again and again; have reserved again straight away! Super, mega, simply outstanding!!!!

Very good restaurant right on the pier with a great view. Yes, it may be a little more expensive than normal but it's definitely worth it. The schnitzels we ate were amazing, as were the fried potatoes. I rarely give full marks here but without a guilty conscience. Please keep it up. 👍🏼

In meinen Augen ein absoluter Pflicht Besuch wenn man dort ist. Das Essen war sehr gut und Service war auch super! Mit tollem Blick auf die Seebrücke kann man dort sehr gut essen. Auch die Bar die mit drin ist lädt zu einem Leckeren Cocktail ein.

The Seaside restaurant is a real highlight right on the coast of Grömitz. The friendly and attentive staff ensure excellent service every time, making the visit particularly pleasant. The menu offers a great selection of delicious dishes. The relaxed atmosphere with the fantastic view of the sea is particularly nice - a perfect place to sit comfortably and enjoy the food. Whether for a coffee, a delicious lunch or a sunset dinner - Seaside is always worth a visit!

For several years now we have been going to Grömitz regularly for my birthday and on this occasion we always go to Seaside for my birthday dinner. I can't imagine a nicer place for it. The food is always a dream and the service - despite the restaurant being full - is outstanding. For us the best place to go for a good meal in Grömitz. See you next year!

Located directly on the pier in Grömitz, nice to sit and look! The Classic Burger with fries costs a whopping €20, my patty was cooked like a briquette! The friendly waitress offered me a replacement but due to the previous waiting time, hunger pushed me through. Apart from that, the entire portion was a joke, the burger was quite small. The vegetable curry cost €17.50 and apparently some of the vegetables hadn't been washed and you always had sand in your mouth. The price/performance ratio is not right at all in this restaurant. The starter was very tasty (Burrata). The nice waitress offered us a dessert or drink as a small compensation, but that couldn't lessen the disappointment with the food. We left the restaurant €70 poorer and disappointed.

After the fire everything was newly renovated....The ambience has become great.... Great location, directly with a view of the water. Very tasty food. The prices are higher, but the iMoney is worth it.

Haben leider schlechte Erfahrung gemacht. Bestellt war u.a. kl. Portion Rotbarchfilet statt mit Kartoffeln mit Bratkartoffeln für ca. €17,00. Serviert wurden normale Kartoffeln. Der Ober hierauf angesprochen meinte, das hätte man nicht gesagt. Ehepartner und andere Gäste in der Nähe bestätigten aber die Bratkartoffelbestellung. Wutschnaubend wurden die Kartoffeln ausgetauscht. Berechnet wurde jedoch Hamburger Pannfisch für €24,50, was wir leider erst Zuhause bemerkt hatten. Das war unser erster und letzter Besuch in dem Restaurant!

We wanted to reserve a table outside, but unfortunately that is not possible. We were told on the phone that you couldn't make a reservation there due to the weather. We thought that made sense and made a reservation inside. When we arrived there were still many tables available outside and the weather was very nice. Our question as to whether we could sit outside was answered in the negative. Everyone can set the rules as they want, but the manners were not okay. It seemed to us as if the motto was: customers have to pay and keep their mouths shut! - There are enough tourists coming so we don't have to be friendly. We finally went to eat something a few shops away. We were treated much more kindly there.

Ate deliciously, sat comfortably and was served nicely! Everything is fine at lunchtime! It was enough and tasted great!
