Nice and friendly staff. Cozy covered outdoor terrace with heaters. Menu with sufficient selection. Vegetarian dishes are also offered. Public parking spaces nearby at the pier forecourt, subject to charges. During the Christmas season, delicious mulled wine and homemade waffles. It's better to reserve in high season. There is no disabled-accessible entrance.

The staff is generally friendly and since we have been eating dinner at Sea Side regularly on vacation for several years, the atmosphere is great. The food is excellent, both in terms of taste, selection and portions. Ambience very nice. The only downer and therefore a star deduction: We reserved in time to get a good seat and then while you're standing in line the seat is changed and you're almost sitting in front of the toilet. Unnecessary and unpleasant. Unfortunately, this happens again and again with a certain employee.

Today we had the pleasure of spending our entire staff Christmas party at Seaside Grömitz - and it was an absolute highlight! From the first minute you could feel the warm atmosphere and the commitment of the entire team. We would particularly like to highlight the fantastic waitress Anja. She is a true master of her craft: incredibly attentive, charming, and always with a smile on her face. She managed to anticipate every wish before it could be expressed and gave us an unforgettable evening. It's rare to see so much professionalism combined with warmth. The food? A dream! Fresh, creative and perfectly balanced – the dishes were a feast for the senses. The combination of the excellent cuisine, the stylish ambience and the great service makes the Seaside a real jewel on the Baltic Sea. Thank you for this wonderful evening. Seaside has been a very good restaurant in a prime location for years. We have been there several times in the past. On our last visit in November 2024, we were there for lunch and had a table right by the window with a view of the pier. The food and service were impeccable. The prices are high but appropriate for the location, ambience and quality of the food. In addition to the indoor area, the outdoor area is also very comfortable and equipped with radiant heaters.

Great located restaurant. Very stylish and comfortably furnished inside with a wonderful view of the water. The lunch menu was very appealing to us and we were not disappointed in terms of taste or appearance. The staff was very personable and child-friendly. We can definitely recommend it.

A really very nice place. Some with a direct view of the Baltic Sea...Perfect. As a starter there was a tomato soup that tasted incredibly good. The main course was pan fish with fried potatoes and salad. Here too, everything was really cooked to perfection. We would also give more stars if that were possible. The restaurant is definitely worth another visit!

We are in Grömitz for a siblings weekend and decided to have dinner at SeaSide yesterday. We both had the fried fish with fried potatoes and homemade tartar sauce. The fish was a dream, the fried potatoes were perfect and the tartar sauce rounded the whole thing off perfectly. A cucumber salad was served with it, which went well with the meal. Afterwards there was a warm apple and cinnamon punch, which was really delicious. The service was friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was really nice, we will definitely come back when we are in Grömitz again.

This is the second time we have been to seaside. Every time we were greeted warmly and courteously. The food and the ambience are worth 6 stars if you could give them. We'd love to come back.

The Seaside Grömitz is a really great restaurant! We were there at the end of October and were able to sit comfortably outside thanks to the heated terrace, but then decided to sit inside - with a fantastic view of the pier. The service was super warm and attentive. We enjoyed mulled wine with the pumpkin soup and the freshly baked waffles, and everything was simply delicious! The menu has a great selection that has something for every taste. We would definitely like to come back. Absolute recommendation!

Wir waren zweimal zum Essen dort in diesem Urlaub das Restaurant hat uns begeistert. Auf Wünsche wird sofort eingegangen. Leider haben wir das Restaurant jetzt erst entdeckt . Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen . Die Kellner sind alle super freundlich und das Essen wirklich hervorragend. Definitiv ein Restaurant was empfehlenswert ist .

Had pre-booked a table a few days before for 7:00 p.m. The table and the time were confirmed to us three times. When we showed up at 6:50 p.m., we were told that we didn't reserve the table until 7:30 p.m. We are lying here because we had reserved two more places the day before and had the time confirmed several times. We were able to take our place at 7:35 p.m. and had to wait over an hour for our food after ordering. There were seven of us and none of us had an extravagant meal. I had pork fillet with fried potatoes and grilled vegetables. I had to look for the vegetables and the fillet was very dry. The fried potatoes tasted good. Overall, I found my food lacking. Since I was invited, I didn't say anything out of respect for the host. The waiters were friendly and the atmosphere is very nice, which is why I gave it two stars. I can't make a recommendation. In my opinion, the saying “more appearance than reality” applies here.

But what happened next was outstanding; Simply mega: the service employee came to me without being asked and offered to simply exchange the dish I had delivered for the dish I wanted! 🤗🤗🤗🤗…I had never experienced anything like that in my many years of restaurant experience!!!!! You can go back here again and again; have reserved again straight away! Super, mega, simply outstanding!!!!

The Seaside restaurant is a real highlight right on the coast of Grömitz. The friendly and attentive staff ensure excellent service every time, making the visit particularly pleasant. The menu offers a great selection of delicious dishes. The relaxed atmosphere with the fantastic view of the sea is particularly nice - a perfect place to sit comfortably and enjoy the food. Whether for a coffee, a delicious lunch or a sunset dinner - Seaside is always worth a visit!

For several years now we have been going to Grömitz regularly for my birthday and on this occasion we always go to Seaside for my birthday dinner. I can't imagine a nicer place for it. The food is always a dream and the service - despite the restaurant being full - is outstanding. For us the best place to go for a good meal in Grömitz. See you next year!

Located directly on the pier in Grömitz, nice to sit and look! The Classic Burger with fries costs a whopping €20, my patty was cooked like a briquette! The friendly waitress offered me a replacement but due to the previous waiting time, hunger pushed me through. Apart from that, the entire portion was a joke, the burger was quite small. The vegetable curry cost €17.50 and apparently some of the vegetables hadn't been washed and you always had sand in your mouth. The price/performance ratio is not right at all in this restaurant. The starter was very tasty (Burrata). The nice waitress offered us a dessert or drink as a small compensation, but that couldn't lessen the disappointment with the food. We left the restaurant €70 poorer and disappointed.

Haben leider schlechte Erfahrung gemacht. Bestellt war u.a. kl. Portion Rotbarchfilet statt mit Kartoffeln mit Bratkartoffeln für ca. €17,00. Serviert wurden normale Kartoffeln. Der Ober hierauf angesprochen meinte, das hätte man nicht gesagt. Ehepartner und andere Gäste in der Nähe bestätigten aber die Bratkartoffelbestellung. Wutschnaubend wurden die Kartoffeln ausgetauscht. Berechnet wurde jedoch Hamburger Pannfisch für €24,50, was wir leider erst Zuhause bemerkt hatten. Das war unser erster und letzter Besuch in dem Restaurant!

We wanted to reserve a table outside, but unfortunately that is not possible. We were told on the phone that you couldn't make a reservation there due to the weather. We thought that made sense and made a reservation inside. When we arrived there were still many tables available outside and the weather was very nice. Our question as to whether we could sit outside was answered in the negative. Everyone can set the rules as they want, but the manners were not okay. It seemed to us as if the motto was: customers have to pay and keep their mouths shut! - There are enough tourists coming so we don't have to be friendly. We finally went to eat something a few shops away. We were treated much more kindly there.

Ate deliciously, sat comfortably and was served nicely! Everything is fine at lunchtime! It was enough and tasted great!

The food itself was tasty, but many mini-extras were charged at too high an additional cost. Pancakes were €9 and the portion was really a joke. Champingong sauce 3€ in addition to the schnitzel plate is also cheeky. The fried potatoes with the schnitzel were also served very sparingly. The taste was good, but far too high compared to other places nearby. Price/performance doesn't fit.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, Abzug gibt es leider bei den Wartezeiten, 1 Stunde nach einem Strandtag mit Hunger ist Zuviel. Die Bedienung war nett war aber bissel ein chaot. Kurz vor Schluss letzte Runde mit gleichzeitigen raus schmiss in 15 Minuten. Kaffee kam dann nach 12 Minuten und so blieben uns nur 3 Minuten diesen zu trinken. Für 90 Euro zu 2 kann man bissel mehr Freundlichkeit und Geschwindigkeit erwarten. Aus dem Grund befriedigend.

Wir sind des öfteren im SeaSide. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, die Küche ist lecker und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten in der Hochsaison um 19:30 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt. Leider sind die Tische für 2 Personen alle in der Mitte und daher laufen ständig Personen an einem vorbei. Man hat praktisch die Gesäße fast im Gesicht wenn sich auf Tischhöhe 2 Personen begegnen und ausweichen wollen. Auch die Lautstärke war an diesem Abend unerträglich. Man musste sich fast anschreien um etwas zu verstehen. Auch der Service war überfordert. Die Vorspeise kam vor den Getränken. Schnelligkeit ist schön aber bitte koordiniert. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder. In der Nebensaison vorzüglich in der Hauptsaison sollte man das oben erwähnte beachten. Wenn dies nicht stört ist das SeaSide auch in der Hauptsaison empfehlenswert. Ich würde aber die Terrasse empfehlen da der innere Restaurantbereich sehr warm bei voller Besetzung ist.

We wanted to eat there on the terrace, but unfortunately reservations are not possible! So we ordered in the restaurant a week in advance, when we arrived there were enough tables available on the terrace but we weren't allowed to sit there! If we cancel our table we won't get a table at all! This caused discussions among many guests! Food is good but too little for too much money! Afterwards we went for crepes with our children.

The Seaside in Grömitz offers an excellent culinary experience. The crispy schnitzel with fried potatoes and cucumber salad, which was prepared to perfection, was particularly impressive. The schnitzel was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the fried potatoes were golden brown and tasty. The refreshing cucumber salad rounded off the dish perfectly. The service was extremely courteous and friendly, which made the visit even more pleasant. Every wish was fulfilled immediately and the staff was always attentive and professional. Overall, Seaside is a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy good food and excellent service in a beautiful setting. On another day we were there for lunch and that was also delicious. Prices correspond to the location, but also delicious!

We came here spontaneously in the evening and immediately got a table on the covered outdoor terrace with our dog. The drinks came quickly and the food after a short wait. Small extra requests are also lovingly implemented. The fish burger was tasty but you have to like the mustard sauce. The fish on the pesto potatoes with the tomatoes was delicious but you have to really like pesto here too because the potatoes were really drowned in it. We paid €55 for two people with one dish and drink each - which is completely fine.

We weren't there for the first nor the last time. As usual, the food was particularly delicious. The waiter (Ukrainian?) was also noticeably friendly and polite. His positive mood was contagious. We like to give good tips 👍🏻 The only thing we could complain about would be the size of the portions. We weren't completely full afterwards. A great restaurant with really friendly staff. Five of us spontaneously went there (2 children, 3 adults) and were immediately given a table in the outdoor area with a view of the sea and the pier. The food came quickly and I have rarely eaten such a delicious burger (Rösti Beef Burger). Mother-in-law had the Surf'n'Turf, which was also great. I think three higher-priced dishes for adults, two for children plus drinks and nightcaps for under €120.00 are fair! We'll definitely be back.

We actually ate at Seaside twice during our 6 day vacation. We sat outside on the first evening and found the ambience right on the beach really beautiful. The lady from the service was very nice, when we asked whether the sauces were gluten-free, she immediately asked the kitchen. We both had the bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin with grilled vegetables and fried potatoes and it was divine! Really an absolute culinary delight. The second time we sat inside due to bad weather, the atmosphere there is also very nice. I chose the pork tenderloin again and my partner chose the Classic Seaside Burger. As expected, very tasty! We can highly recommend Seaside and will definitely eat here again on our next visit.

Wir waren zu 5 Personen und hatten wirklich einen sehr schönen Abend. Das Essen war sehr gut und schön angerichtet ,der Service flott und sehr zuvorkommend. Es gab zunächst eine mediterrane Vorspeisenplatte und anschließend Fisch, Schnitzel und Schweinefilet. Alles wirklich sehr gut. Zum Nachtisch Oreo-Creme und Crema Caralana-kôstlich. Auf der Terrasse saßen wir windgeschützt und hatten eine schöne Aussicht auf die Seebrücke. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war angemessen.

We "only" ate a waffle there. Since my wife, as a diabetic, is not allowed powdered sugar, ice cream or strawberries and that was too much for my mother, we asked if we could get a waffle without everything and one with just powdered sugar. Of course that's possible, said the waiter. The surprise comes when you pay. A waffle without everything costs the same and after all you are not obliged to tell the guest. So much for customer friendliness...

The current head chef was my boss at another location for years and I can tell you that he is a genius! He is who he is, but he's a genius when it comes to taste and even with all the lights on he tastes everything! Even umami and that's why it's so delicious because it flavors everything brilliantly and combines it with each other. He has imagination & is creative. Like a loving mother, he cooks for his guests with attention to detail. The new one has learned from Fränki, but even as a non-smoker it doesn't taste good. He can certainly cook the recipes really well and be an assistant, but he's not a genius when it comes to taste. He has no creativity and when he has to be creative, then like Falkenthal, the plate is a bit of everything. It's about getting the best out of just a few ingredients instead of combining 100 things. That can't go well... but I only have about 40 years of gastronomy experience, so what do I know...

Whenever we are on vacation on the Baltic Sea we come here, I personally like everything very much except the pasta (a matter of taste) friendly service, but you often notice as soon as there are a few more guests, everyone becomes hectic and the atmosphere becomes quiet taken.

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waitress with short brown hair was absolutely rude and disrespectful. We were ignored even though the restaurant wasn't even full. When we were finally able to order, the waitress responded to our questions in an annoyed manner and made derogatory comments. In addition, it was not even possible to change the food due to allergies. I have rarely experienced such bad behavior from the staff.

Started strong - faded strongly... The staff and the ambience are worth every star. The food was well prepared but the taste was not a revelation.

Prices are way too high and when you pay they say that it cost €10 more than it actually does. Pure rip-off but you can't say anything because the bouncer has quartz sand gloves under the counter🤡
