You have to be patient to eat mega legger, but the portions are awesome. The price-performance ratio is super great for the portions. Can only be recommended. A very nice restaurant, super nice staff and super delicious food. From schnitzel to burgers, pizza, gyros and more, there is something for everyone. The best thing was the sweet potato fries, they were so crispy, the burgers are a poem with the delicious burger buns. We can do it again, we still have to test the other dishes...

Went to Mandy & Moritz because of the positive reviews here on Google. Positive: - Location close to the beach Negative: - Crazy long wait for food. Waited almost an hour for two portions. - Very expensive! For 5% more we got really high-quality and delicious food on the promenade in Dahme a day later. Here is a mediocre tasting burger and a not particularly great schnitzel. Too bad, it's not worth it!

No, you don't have a restaurant, but a better beach bar with cuisine, but unfortunately the prices are completely exorbitant. Table orders have never worked out well. It was well attended, but not full! Mandy is alone in the service with a certain basic friendliness, but the stress comes through very quickly. Ordering drinks and food was quick. Schnitzel (from €25 upwards) and iced tea were out at 7 p.m. Pizza Margherita (€13.90) was okay, gyro plate with fries, tzatziki and coleslaw (€22.90) was partly burnt black. Tip: don't put the tzatziki in the small bowl on the plate, but rather the coleslaw, then the fries won't get soggy. Overall, the verdict is more like 4minus than 4, especially because of the absolutely exorbitant prices. Other restaurants in the area prove that this can be done better and cheaper. I will discuss this in the next reviews of the individual restaurants and in other forums. Overall rating 2 stars 🌟 🌟 also because of the excessive prices.

First of all: €3 for ketchup+mayo? I thought I wasn't seeing right. The remaining prices are also very high and I am used to prices from Hamburg. The pizza was ok, although the crust was very wide. The burgers had ketchup ON the bun and in the bun, the meat was from the freezer and not fresh. The children's plate for just under €13 was very small, six chicken nuggets and a few fries (frozen products from the deep fryer), ketchup and mayo were added on top. So 16€ for a children's plate. The shop was relatively empty and we had to wait 40 minutes and then the food didn't even come together, a children's plate was missing. Only the service was halfway efficient.

I was blinded by the positive reviews. Prices shown here are all out of date, everything is more expensive for no pizza, you've already paid 16.00, well it tasted good. But wouldn't come back. Schnitzels were at 6 p.m. on a Saturday, all the waiting time for two pizzas was a good 1 hour. Children who go there should ask in advance how long they will wait for their food before ordering the drinks and only then devote themselves to ordering.

So, we ordered a salami pizza and a gyros pizza, the gyros pizza was good, but the salami was nothing special. At almost 17€ per pizza in 29cm it's outrageously expensive, you can eat better elsewhere nearby, just way too expensive for the service

Since we were unlucky last time and didn't get anything to eat at 7:20 p.m., we wanted to try again. This time we got there earlier and were actually allowed to eat. And it was worth it, the food was solid and sufficiently portioned, the service was very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was totally right, it was fun. Yes, it's not cheap, but many people are on vacation here and you can treat yourself to something. We will be back.

Yesterday we happened to have dinner at Mandy & Moritz as a large family with children and were very impressed by the warm and open nature of the hosts. The dishes are not one-size-fits-all, but prepared with a lot of love and, above all, homemade. It was really a pleasure: from the burger to the pizza to the croque. Everyone was delighted with their food and was more than full. If you appreciate good food and its preparation, “At Mandy & Moritz” is definitely the right place for you. 100% recommendation! Friendly, tasty, cozy (2023) 2024: Nothing has changed - Mandy and Moritz are very friendly and attentive. Food was super delicious 😋 We had schnitzel, burgers, gyro plates and nuggets and fries. Everything was freshly prepared, which therefore took a while. The restaurant is located directly behind the dike, so a short walk along the water is possible. We were happy to be there again this year.

Hello everyone, we were with Mandy and Moritz Essen and I came to the following points: - Super nice and friendly service - nice ambience with a bourgeois flair - 3 rooms -> outdoor area, anteroom like winter garden and guest area inside We both had schnitzel, one Viennese style and one Jager: - Schnitzel really delicious, breaded and tender, nothing to complain about - however, XXL is a matter of interpretation/more like XL - Prices are extremely stable for the meal at over €20, just a bit too expensive, unfortunately (26.90 for Schnitzel classic, Schnitzel Jäger €28.90) - Jägerschnitzel with an unknown creation of sauce, rather a reddish sauce and a bit sour, not the typical brown one as I know it - otherwise stable bourgeois cuisine with a mix of pizza, schnitzel, baguette, pasta, burgers etc... So you can try out the menu here without hesitation in a super nice atmosphere, even further away from the otherwise chic restaurants on the promenade. Keep it up you two, because with friendly service every visit was even better!

Leider teuer teuer teuer. Die Currywurst viel zu klein und die Pommes dazu machten auch nicht satt. Preise wie im Hilton Hotel. Für einen Imbiss einfach zu teuer. Keine Relationen. Für den Preis kann man auch ins Restaurant gehen. Soweit ganz freundlich, aber es ist eben nur ein Strand Imbiss.

We were there at the weekend and we were all very happy! The food is prepared and served with a lot of love and the service (Mandy) was very warm. Wir waren um 13 Uhr dort und als wir nach der Karte fragten, wurden wir unfreundlich abgewiesen, da man noch nicht geöffnet habe und es auch nicht schaffe, obwohl das Restaurant offiziell seit 12:30 Uhr geöffnet sein sollte. We were at Mandy & Moritz by chance. We actually wanted to eat a piece of cake, but since it wasn't cake time for two, we drove further and came across Mandy & Moritz. We then decided on fish sandwiches, since we are right on the lake. We found the prices for pizza or something similar to be just too high for a snack. The drinks menu is also quite good. The rolls were very tasty, the fish was very hot and it was more than just a fish roll with meatballs or fried fish. It was more of a very tasty, very tasty fish burger! If you've been to the beach or been climbing and need some refreshment, then we can recommend Mandy & Moritz.

This was the second time we had eaten at Mandy&Moritz. The operators are extremely friendly and there is a relaxed and personal atmosphere. The ambience is rather rustic, simple, not fancy, like a beach bar, with a maritime flair, everything is clean and tidy, I like it. The pizza was amazing! Rarely have I had such a delicious pizza. I even completely plastered the edge, which I rarely do. The dough is made there in-house as is the pizza sauce. You can definitely taste it. Good quality of ingredients. You can taste, see and notice the love and passion, including how the innkeeper spoke about it. He also puts the sauce under the rim... simply delicious. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Grömitz. Last time we walked for a long time back and forth from the marina, it's okay, but it's a bit far. This time we drove there easily and were able to park nearby.

Today, on Father's Day, after a nice walk on the cliffs, we drove here specifically to eat. We came here last year and were thrilled. Today the food was great again, the pizza is super tasty. You are welcomed very warmly and there is even time for a little snack. We will come back !

Mandy macht den Service, Moritz kocht! Beide machen es klasse! Wir hatten Burger und Pizza. Alle Essen waren lecker und ausreichend. Wir waren innerhalb kürzester Zeit 3x da (einmal zum Bierchen trinken 😉). Insgesamt eine nette Atmosphere in dem kleinen Strandrestaurant, die zum Verweilen einlädt! Der kleine Ausflug weg vom Promenadentrubel in Grömitz lohnt sich! Gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind!

A stop at Mandy & Moritz is an absolute MUST. The schnitzels are huge, super tasty and you can even watch how everything is freshly prepared through the open kitchen, just like the pizza. We were at the restaurant for dinner. Sure, it's not the season yet...but it should at least be cozy and warm if you want to entertain guests indoors. Otherwise the restaurant might not open until later. And the fact that there are only a few dishes to choose from is understandable. But it should be visible BEFORE guests sit down at the table. All in all a meal to “fill up quickly”, but really nothing more. It's a shame for Grömitz and the location. The employees were friendly and helpful.

The restaurant I visited left a disappointing impression. The price for a simple burger without any side dishes at €19 was exorbitantly high. The fries cost an additional €5, and you even had to pay an extra €1.50 for mayonnaise. The quality of the pizza left a lot to be desired and was no better than that of a supermarket. The total price was so high that you would almost expect to be dining in a posh restaurant. Considering the prices and the poor quality of the food, I would not recommend this restaurant.

It was just so incredibly delicious. With 4 people we ate 4 different pizzas and one was tastier than the other. The delivery was very punctual and the pizzas arrived “hot”. Respect for this great achievement on a holiday. Please maintain this extremely high standard and you will have gained new regular guests. Next we'll try the burgers ;)

Wir haben Freunde auf dem angrenzenden Campingplatz besucht und wollten eigentlich Fischbrötchen essen, waren aber zu spät dran, nur bis 17:00 Uhr. Alternativen Burger und Currywurst waren okay. Der Burger war üppig aber der Paddy scheinbar aus Schweinefleisch. Mandy passt in diese Welt, super nett. Aber der

Eins vorweg man kommt rein wird von der Bedienung freundlich empfangen und fühlt sich pudelwohl das Essen war super und reichlich konnte das letzte Schnitzel des Tages für mich ergattern die Pommes musste ich leider liegen lassen sonst hätte ich das Schnitzel nicht geschafft desweiteren hatten wir Thunfisch Pizza, Backfisch und Currywurst und waren alle durchweg begeistert sollten wir wieder in der Gegend sein werden wir auf alle Fälle wieder rein schauen

Empfehlenswert auf ganzer Linie! Selten so gut gegessen hier in ganz Grömitz und Umgebungen! Hier stimmt alles ... Essen und Service. Es waren alle sehr sehr nett und freundlich. Großes Lob an Mandy und Moriz!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder.
