It was our first time there and we were very surprised by the pleasant atmosphere in the dining room. The service was very friendly and attentive (despite a lack of staff). The selection was very extensive, with something for everyone. The portions were more than sufficient and the food was simply delicious.

We stopped spontaneously and got a seat without a reservation. The food was delicious, with generous portions. The service was friendly.

My wife and I just wanted to go out for a cozy meal – and suddenly, we're sitting in the middle of culinary bliss at the Blüchereiche! The food? Really good, home-style fare, like grandma's, only without the arguments about inheritance. The portions were honest, warm, and catapulted us straight into a food coma (in the best way). The staff was so friendly that I briefly considered being adopted. Value for money? Everything is just right. The ambiance is quaint, cozy, but dust-free – like a stylish living room. We'll be back, even hungrier and without a guilty conscience!

It's truly a superb restaurant, but unfortunately, dogs are no longer allowed. According to the owner, some dog owners themselves are to blame for this excellent restaurant now being a dog-free establishment, as the animals' "behavior" is apparently not always the best. This is very sad on both counts.

It was delicious, the portions were huge, the prices were tourist prices, and our waitress was very nice and polite.

The food was "okay." The atmosphere was very pleasant. I especially deserve to mention the friendliness of the staff; it was simply superb. I wish it was like this everywhere. But we would definitely come back. The schnitzel didn't blow us away, but the fish and fried potatoes were good.

My father planned his birthday there 4 weeks ago for April 30, 2025. The reservation was canceled five days in advance due to a lack of staff, unbelievable... now we have to get something new at such short notice... which is proving to be difficult. Never again the flowering oak.

The food was great. The sauce for the Königsberger Klopse was a bit too sour, but the meatballs were excellent. The plaice could have been a bit larger. But otherwise, everything was good.

We ate here twice during our short vacation in a very cozy atmosphere. Although it was well attended, we didn't have to wait unusually long. The dishes were always very plentiful and tasty. I didn't know the schnitzel roll before. Price/performance was absolutely ok.

The “Blüche Eiche” serves German and North German cuisine. The food is good and tasty, the service is friendly and not objectionable. The price-performance ratio is acceptable. However, the condition of the toilets in the restaurant has long been objectionable and definitely unacceptable. These exude the charm of the 70s; the toilets were probably last renovated or renewed in this decade. Unfortunately, this spoils the overall impression quite a bit. Too bad!

The food was really tasty and the service was very nice and polite. The price is okay too. The dish I had was beef liver with boiled potatoes and green beans with bacon. It was really tasty.

Today we were invited to the Blüche Eiche for a birthday dinner. Unfortunately things went suboptimally today. First impression after 5 minutes of waiting until we were assigned the reserved table was fine. The table apparently wasn't cleaned after the last guests 😒 after 1 1/4 hours the ordered food arrived. Partially burnt fried potatoes, but not well-fried fries, steak and liver were well-done, the pollack fillet died twice. Chicken breast fillet wrapped in bacon cannot be identified as chicken breast. Overall the food was not satisfactory. The service staff without a smile on their face, no friendly greeting or farewell is actually something I know differently from the catering industry. When it came to eating it was just “I’ll give it to the kitchen continue ". There will be no further visit from us to the flowering oak. Even with the current problems of a lack of employees, the restaurant management should plan differently, if necessary reduce the menu or limit the number of guests. Hinge

I'll be honest and say that in general everything was wonderful, but there was something missing from the food. The waitress was super friendly and quick like no other, the restaurant itself had beautiful furnishings that were well maintained, even with plastic plants 😁. In my opinion, it was only possible to get more out of the food (main course) in terms of taste. It was somehow a bit bland. I didn't try the other dishes so I can only speak for mine and the dessert was absolutely fine. You can't complain about the value for money for one person with a drink, main course and dessert. I will visit the restaurant again and hope that the food was an exception with the taste.

We came across this restaurant by chance last night. We will definitely come back! The restaurant was full so we sat outside on the beautiful terrace, very nice ambience. We were warmly welcomed and the starter salad was delicious. When it started to drizzle lightly, someone immediately came over and opened the umbrella for us. The Champion Rahm Schnitzel was wonderful with crispy croquettes thanks to the fresh champions.

Came across the flowering oak by chance. Great food with fresh ingredients and no convenience products. Super nice service and accommodating. Will definitely stop by again and try more dishes. A visit to the flowering oak is a given for us when we vacation on the coast. There is something for every taste - vegetarians will also find a menu here. The portions are very large and filling. Home cooking. Reservations are highly recommended in season.

Lunch was plentiful, the taste of my food was mediocre. The friendliness of the operating staff left a lot to be desired. The staff managed to break the cozy atmosphere because, as we were not offered cake, we brought our own biscuits from France for the coffee afterwards and ate them in the restaurant. The obvious friendliness of our hosts towards us had become icy because of a handful of cookies and we were threatened with corkage fees as punishment.

The “Blüche Eiche” is a restaurant with so-called home-style/German cuisine “in the middle of the forest”, but directly on the L 181 between Sereetz and Ratekau/Techau, located. The food is good, tasty and rich. The price-performance ratio is also acceptable and reasonable. Both the numerous meat and fish dishes are almost universally recommended. The service is quick and not objectionable. The decor and furnishings of the restaurant are rather modest, but acceptable. Some reviews here on Google have already said that the toilets in the restaurant are in urgent need of renovation/renovation. This can only be confirmed. Unfortunately, the toilets in the “Blüche Eiche” are not at all a showpiece and are rather marginal. The bottom line is a clear recommendation for the restaurant!
