Unfortunately, the food only gets 5 stars, but we'd give it two more! We've never had such delicious fish! We had the fisherman's supper and three kinds of fish fillet, it was amazing! Very friendly staff. If we're ever in the area again, we'll stop by.

We discovered this restaurant through a recommendation on the street. All the dishes we ate were of outstanding quality. Everything was truly top-notch. The value for money was more than convincing. The service was friendly, unobtrusive, and prompt. The chefs know their craft, especially in this small galley. We would be happy to return.

It was very delicious! If I could give 10 stars, I would gladly do so.

We were there late Sunday afternoon. We sat outside because it was packed inside. We'd heard from friends that it was great. Apparently, it depends on the day. The food was excellent. One appetizer was completely forgotten. And the waiter was, well, friendly is a bit different. You felt like you were being rushed when ordering and paying. I personally didn't like it. Sorry, only three stars. Maybe more with a different waiter, but only three.

Very tasty food. I had zander, my wife had shrimp. The portions were generous and the service was friendly. The small terrace overlooks the water. Everything was perfect, thank you very much!

It's simply the best fish has to offer...from fish sandwiches to Labskaus...fish soup or Peter's special...they also had schnitzel, but I think you shouldn't bother with that if you love fish...which isn't to say it's bad...the kitchen and the staff are all simply Nordic, super friendly and nice people. Forget Gosch or Kajüte or any other lütt hus, it's number 1 in Travemünde. Best wishes from Berlin

Delicious fish, prepared in a very traditional way. We arrived without a reservation and still got a table. The ambiance could be improved. It's more familiar to traditional restaurants. The menu is manageable—a definite plus for me! There's also something for vegetarians. I hope my review puts a smile on the waiter's face—I missed that. Thanks for the delicious food! I would like to see something more modern on the menu.

This was our first visit to Lüthus, the fish soup was incredibly delicious for €5.90, you get a clear, spicy fish soup with lots of fish and thank goodness no salmon (I personally don't think that has any place in fish soup), the baguette that came with it was lukewarm, crispy and also incredibly delicious. I had a small, still water with it and with the tip it came to ten euros. What more could you want👍🏻 the decor is simple, a bit old school, which I personally like, and clean, including the toilets. What I saw on the other plates also looked very tasty 🤤. The service was quaint, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

We've been coming here for many years, but unfortunately, we have to stop. Even though we reserved a table and arrived with all the other guests, everyone else was served before us. We had to wait an hour with a small child. It's unacceptable. And when we asked, all we got was a stupid, unfriendly response. Unfortunately, we no longer recommend it for families with children!

The food was excellent. A very good selection of fish, all lovingly decorated with a bit of salad. The atmosphere was very pleasant and understated, with a great view, just the way we like it. The freshness of the ingredients and the good value for money absolutely won us over. We'll be back.

Wir waren heute am 16. Juli zum Mittagessen im Lütt Hus . Das Essen war sehr gut , Preis / Leistung , alles bestens .Auch die Jungs die uns bedient haben , alles in Ordnung . Aber es gibt einen kleinen Wermutstropfen und zwar die Rechnung .!? Man hat uns ein Weizenbier und ein Pils Zuviel abgerechnet .Meiner Meinung nach Planke Absicht .!! Ich habe es erst festgestellt als wir in Travemünde noch eine Zeitlang unterwegs waren , da habe ich meine Frau gefragt , ob sie die Rechnung noch hat . Wahrscheinlich haben die Jungs gedacht , der säuft hier ein paar Bier und merkt sowieso nichts mehr . Aber das geht bei mir erst nach dem 8 . Bier los , dumm gelaufen für euch . Also an alle die etwas mehr Alkohol trinken „ uffpasse „ .Rechnung gleich am Tisch kontrollieren . Trotzdem viele Grüße Ute/Bernd

The food was plentiful. Both the redfish and the schnitzel were breaded in-house. The fried potatoes with bacon were a delight. Highly recommended. It's a small, fine restaurant, so it's best to reserve in advance.

Wow, simply amazing. Delicious food. I had Fischer's "Supper" – rarely have I had such perfect shrimp, cooked to perfection. Everything was very well seasoned and a true treat for the palate. The price was absolutely top-notch – I would have easily paid €10 more for it. The service is excellent; the drinks arrived within minutes, and the food shortly after. It's best to make a reservation in advance, as there are rarely any free seats.

This very small restaurant is located in the Vorderreihe district of Travemünde. Anyone who thinks that such a location means paying higher prices is mistaken. Here, you can get excellent fish dishes at a fair price, which also taste delicious. The staff are super friendly, and despite the restaurant being busy, the food was served in a reasonable time. Thus, everything was excellent. We will definitely return on our next visit. Reservations are recommended.

Wir wollten eigentlich wie so oft nur die leckere Fischsuppe essen. 🤔 Haben uns dann aber für Fischer's Abendmahl mit Matjes, süss-sauer eingelegten Hering, Garnelen und Bratkartoffeln sowie Bratheringe und Bratkartoffeln entschieden. Das war die beste Entscheidung. Es war mega lecker.

We actually just wanted to eat the delicious fish soup, as we often do. 🤔 But we opted for the Fisherman's Supper with herring, sweet and sour pickled herring, shrimp, and fried potatoes, as well as fried herring and fried potatoes. It was the best decision. It was incredibly delicious.

I had fish there today. 3 different fish fillets with fried potatoes and salad: simply delicious and plentiful. Plus a super nice staff.

I went there based on recommendations from other tourists and reviews. It was 7:30 p.m. and I took a seat on the terrace at the back. I ordered the small fish soup, which was very good and tasty but not outstanding. I asked several times to take a slightly longer break after the soup, and they said yes, we'll do it. 5 minutes later the sumptuous main course arrived, with the words, it's already ready. I had redfish and salmon fillet in a fine mustard sauce. THE sauce was very thick and really only lukewarm. The salmon was also just warm, the redfish fillet was a little hotter. I was disappointed and told the waiter about it. He wanted to pass it on to the cook. When asked, the sauce was hot. Overall, the fish wasn't on point, was a bit over-cooked, wouldn't have been so bad if I had been taken seriously as a guest. At the end it was said: Yes, the kitchen closes at eight o'clock. This could/should have been told to me, then I wouldn't have had to wolf down the main course and put half of it in the trash can. It was previously said that it was the best fish meal in Travemünde, but I can't agree with that statement

Lütt Huus ist großartig! Für mich der qualitativ beste Fischladen in Travemünde zu sensationellen Preisen. (Bin einheimisch) Die (kleine) Fischsuppe kostet seit Jahren € 5.90 und ist eine der besten, die ich jemals gegessen habe. Der Laden ist süss, tolle Lage und das Serviceteam sehr freundlich. Unbedingt reservieren, Laden ist immer voll.

I popped in and asked for soup. The friendly male waiter immediately told me that they serve fish soup. I ordered a small soup, which was quite a large portion and there was also bread. The soup was good and only cost 5.90. I recommend.

I ordered the Finkenwerder plaice (last time it was quite good) with fried potatoes. When I first took a bite I thought it tasted very muddy. The color of the meat was gray-yellow (I was on Sylt 3 days before and there it was white and tender) and I could hardly chew it because it was completely dry. The fried potatoes came in a separate bowl and there was about 1cm of oil at the bottom. I didn't even eat half of the fish and took it with me. At the hotel I saw that the skin on the underside was almost black and I threw it away. The very nice hospitality was the only positive thing.

Auf der Suche nach einem leckeren Abendessen sind wir über TripAdvisor auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Mit der Fähre rüber und auf zum Lütt Hus. Mein Mann war skeptisch, ob ihm das schmeckt. Ich konnte mich nicht entscheiden und habe auf Anraten des Wirts einen mix aus 2 Gerichten genommen, den er mir vorgeschlagen hat. Das Essen kam und wir waren hin und weg… noch nie so lecker Fisch gegessen!

It is advisable to reserve in advance even if it is not a star restaurant. There were two of us and we had the plaice and the redfish with fried potatoes, plus the obligatory side salad, which you could leave out. It's perfect the way it is. Small and fine with some patina. The food costs €2-3 more than the competitors, but the difference is worth it. My top recommendation if you want to eat fish in Travemünde.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierhin, weil es hier die beste Fischsuppe in der Lübecker Bucht gibt, Das Bier ist gut gezapft, der Grauburgunder hat die richtige Temperatur und schmeckt - für Gastronomieverhältnisse - sehr gut. Der Service ist freundlich und flink, die Lage direkt an der Trave bombastisch: WAS WILL MAN MEHR?
