I popped in and asked for soup. The friendly male waiter immediately told me that they serve fish soup. I ordered a small soup, which was quite a large portion and there was also bread. The soup was good and only cost 5.90. I recommend.

We can only join the others. Enjoy your meal, everything freshly prepared. Staff friendly We happened to walk past and were lucky that there wasn't room at lunchtime. We'd love to come back. Plaice with bacon and boiled potatoes, Cod with fried potatoes

Food is top. Sweet little shop. Class! But you have to be prepared for the fact that the clothes have to be aired afterwards! ;)

I ordered the Finkenwerder plaice (last time it was quite good) with fried potatoes. When I first took a bite I thought it tasted very muddy. The color of the meat was gray-yellow (I was on Sylt 3 days before and there it was white and tender) and I could hardly chew it because it was completely dry. The fried potatoes came in a separate bowl and there was about 1cm of oil at the bottom. I didn't even eat half of the fish and took it with me. At the hotel I saw that the skin on the underside was almost black and I threw it away. The very nice hospitality was the only positive thing.

We discovered the small fish restaurant by chance. We were lucky to get a table, which we didn't regret. The fish was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. We went there again just to enjoy the delicious fish. Price performance was also good. Reservation is recommended

We were there on Sunday evening and it is advisable to make a reservation. We enjoyed it very much. Quality, quantity and price were right. We'll be back.

We ate very delicious plaice. The service was Nordic-friendly, but the atmosphere was rather cool.

We have often been to Lütt Hus because my parents live in Travemünde. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very accommodating. So we will come back.

Mega delicious salad dressing, huge portions and everything else was perfect. We still got a place without a reservation on Friday evening (with a 5 minute wait).

Delicious food, great ambience, good service

It is advisable to reserve in advance even if it is not a star restaurant. There were two of us and we had the plaice and the redfish with fried potatoes, plus the obligatory side salad, which you could leave out. It's perfect the way it is. Small and fine with some patina. The food costs €2-3 more than the competitors, but the difference is worth it. My top recommendation if you want to eat fish in Travemünde.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierhin, weil es hier die beste Fischsuppe in der Lübecker Bucht gibt, Das Bier ist gut gezapft, der Grauburgunder hat die richtige Temperatur und schmeckt - für Gastronomieverhältnisse - sehr gut. Der Service ist freundlich und flink, die Lage direkt an der Trave bombastisch: WAS WILL MAN MEHR?

Wonderful and very tasty fish dishes. An absolute must for every stay in Travemünde

The restaurant initially looks like a snack bar, a small copy of a North Sea branch. Small main room with almost 20 seats, adjoining a winter garden and additional tables outside. We've always walked past it, but today we stopped here by chance. The fish soup was one of the best we have eaten so far, followed by housewife-style matjes with fried potatoes, delicious. We made reservations again for next week and can expressly recommend Lütt Hus because of the great service. Update February 2025: Food and service are still great 😊

An integral part of our Baltic Sea vacation for years. The food is a 10/10, the portion size in relation to the price is simply unbeatable. The fish is always fresh and requests are always catered for. The ambience is appropriate for a good fish parlor and fits the overall picture. We'd love to come back any time! PS: I can recommend the “Peters Spezial” fish plate as a tip. For dessert, enjoy a “Lütje Minze”, which clears your stomach!

Great service & very tasty food! We had dinner at Lütt Hus with seven people on Christmas Day. Everyone was very happy with the food. The portions are very generous, in our opinion of very good quality and taste great! We really like the atmosphere there - when it's not a public holiday, the ferries pass close by and you still have something to look at. It wasn't our first nor our last visit. In our opinion the best fish restaurant in Travemünde.

There were three of us here and we were all thrilled with the fish dishes we ordered and, even though it was busy, the service was calm, friendly and attentive. From our seats we had a nice end to the meal with a view of the Trave. That was good!

Today we ate crab soup there with my wife. The soup would have been very tasty if it hadn't been extremely salty. On the other hand, a few weeks ago we picked up two fried fish rolls to take away from this café and they were excellent.

The herring had an incredible number of bones and the dressing wasn't great either. Unfortunately, the side salad with the dressing didn't taste good at all. we were very disappointed. The toilet is also a disaster, extremely small and from the 70s.

Compared to the fancy French fry shop run by a TV chef across the water, you immediately feel welcome here. And the dishes you get here are at least as good as on the other side of the Trave. Fresh fish fried to perfection with feeling, served with fried potatoes from the large pan and a good handful of fresh salad - a poem. And all of this at moderate prices too.

Great little fish restaurant, unfortunately I walked past it for years! Now the second time I've been there, the first time there was Labskaus unfortunately only once a month, it was delicious and a good portion could have been a little more for me! U this year the fish plate was also great, I think everything you get there! We had a wonderful fish soup with plenty of large and small additions, I took the small one as a starter both times, a must try and great price! Be sure to book a table in advance if you want to go at the usual dinner times at lunchtime and in the evening. I did it that way, ideally one day in advance. I experienced how several guests wanted to book a table for the evening but everything was already fully booked! Although there is always plenty to do both years, the same and nice, friendly service! It's also nice to sit outside with a direct view of the water

So it wasn't restaurant quality: the plaice had of course been frozen and thawed beforehand. Accordingly dry. Also burnt on one side. The crabs on the plaice are ice cold. The salad: iceberg lettuce with corn (!) with ready-made salad sauce. This is what ready-made kitchen looks like. Only the view and the beautiful seat on the Trave fit. Too bad 😢

Ate at Lütt Hus for the first time 4 years ago. We loved it so much that we had dinner there 5 times in one week. 4 years later the food is just as delicious. The only thing not everyone likes is the ambience. Spartag furnishings that are more reminiscent of a snack bar than an excellent fish restaurant. When on holiday in Lübeck or Travemünde, the Lütt Hus is a must!!!!

If you want to eat fresh fish at reasonable prices, Lütt Hus is the right place for you. We keep coming back and are always thrilled. Service is very friendly and always ready to have fun. The beer liqueur for digestion is a must. Absolutely top.

Excellent restaurant with first class dishes. The menu is rather small, like all top restaurants. Without a reservation you have no chance of getting a free table. The prices are not really in line with the market. With this quality, significantly higher prices would be appropriate. In my opinion, money is being left behind here. The customers can be happy.

I'm not really into fish, but there's no getting around it here. Super tasty and super fresh. Friendly staff who try very hard to make the impossible possible, even if it feels fully booked.

Einrichtung und Bestuhlung vermitteln nicht den Eindruck eines Restaurants, eher einer Kneipe, einfach, etwas schmuddelig. Toiletten mitten im Gastraum verströmen einen unangenehmen Geruch, mit dem Fischgeruch eine eklige Geruchsmischung. Einfache Gerichte, Salate aus der Tüte, Salate werden von einem süssen Fertigdressing ertränkt, welke und faule Teile im Salat. Kartoffelsalat aus dem „Eimer“, i einem Fertigdressing ertränkt, schon der Anblick ist nicht appetitanregend. Die gebratenen Heringe waren zu lange in der Pfanne , sehr dunkel und trocken (zu Tode gebraten). Nicht zu empfehlen!

Great location right on the water

Very nice little restaurant. Impossible to get a seat in the late afternoon/evening without a reservation. We once had redfish with potatoes and a small side salad and the only non-fishy dish, Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes and also a small salad. Both were very tasty and the value for money was absolutely right. Can recommend the restaurant.
