Super friendly and attentive service. Superb and creative food, top-notch wines. We felt very comfortable. Thank you very much.

I can't say anything about the food, but the coffee and cocktails were very good. We sat at the bar in a relaxed conversation with the bartender. On August 1st, 2025 there will be a big celebration for the 10th anniversary in front of the bar on the street. Sounded like an interesting event.

What a magical property, with beautiful castles and good restaurants on site. We had ground floor room which was on the smaller side, but very comfortable and clean with a modern updated bathroom. Couldn’t want for more and at such a great price. Had called saying it was our anniversary and they put us in the room right next to the entrance, they could have been more thoughtful and situated our room a bit better. Even just left a note in the room, those little things bring 5 stars. There is free parking onsite which is a major plus and busses that take you straight to the heart of town in about 10 mins. Would definitely return in the future.

Delicious food at unfortunately somewhat inflated prices, the ambience is harmonious and cozy and rustic!

Don't recommend it, were there in the summer, stomach upset with the tuna fish sandwich afterwards, also no ventilation, it was like an oven in the shop and they didn't believe us, no understanding and reluctant cooperation, unsatisfactory shame, drinks were ok

If you order medium, you'll still get well-done. Too bad.

Sehr Enttäuschend. Die Preise werden immer teuerer und die Portionen sind auf die Größe von Kinder Portionen geschrumpft. Wenn man die Portions Größe anspricht und fragt ob sie etwas mehr drauf machen können, wird man schief angesehen und das Personal ist genervt. Das Essen schmeckt ist aber den Preis leider nicht wert. Man wird kaum satt.

Saxon Switzerland is not exactly the mecca for vegan/vegetarian nutrition. It's all the more pleasing that the "Franz" looks beyond meat-free dishes and serves an excellent vegan "Szegedin goulash" with dumplings, which is a very enjoyable, different interpretation of Eastern European cuisine. There is also a top selection of beer and wine. 👍

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend in der Drogerie. Sehr schönes Ambiente mit sehr nettem und sympathischen Gastgeber. Leckeres Essen mit fantastischer Weinbegleitung. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-)

We were invited to dinner and can't share the many positive dining experiences. The schnitzels were made in a deep fryer, which is not possible. The fried potatoes were squeezed potatoes with skin on (not for everyone). The service was very attentive and friendly. That's why there are still three stars

Very nice café/restaurant with a view of the Elbe. I've been there several times. The breakfast is very good. Today we had hot chocolate and an egg pie with poppy seeds. The service is always lovely. Thank you for that.

I love the food at Mr Bales! Not only is it delicious, but it is also made from local products. Whenever I am in the region, at least one visit is mandatory.
