Unfortunately we got the most unimaginative cocktail ever. Berry cocktail with a dry raspberry. “Deco” in a glass made from dried fruit.

Fantastic cocktails, great ambience and very attentive service!

We wanted to have a nightcap cocktail and luckily we ended up there. Great bar, great cocktail menu, friendly staff. The cocktails are amazing and the bartender is top notch. Despite the constant stress, a nice word was exchanged because the location was well attended. Prices are reasonable due to the quality of the cocktails.

I don't understand all the positive reviews. It's true that the ambience is nice. But otherwise it is not recommended: 1. The staff is not trained in gastronomy at all. - A group of 7 people had empty glasses on the table for 50 minutes. Even though we sat in the middle, we were never asked for a refill. - If there weren't certain drinks, you were just told that you should choose something else from the wine list, no recommendation from the staff. - It was cleared over our heads, incredibly easy. 2. Dishes are ridiculously small, but very expensive. The menu is very small. 3. Since the service was non-existent, we didn't give a tip, whereupon the waiter openly rolled his eyes. And there was no farewell whatsoever. If you only drink one cocktail, the problems probably won't be noticed. If you go there with the intention of staying longer, you will be disappointed. We're never going there again.

An incredibly beautiful ambience with a cocktail menu where you can taste and experience the attention to detail. The bartenders love what they do and you can taste it with every drink. A clear recommendation if you love good cocktails or want to immerse yourself in this world. Five stars doesn't do it justice as it deserves a minimum of 10.

We were looking for a nice bar in Leipzig and found it at IMPERII. The bar is exceptionally stylish and the ambience is simply great. The cocktails are not only delicious, but also presented particularly creatively and lovingly - a real highlight. The food is of high quality and the service was very friendly and attentive. The prices are absolutely justified for what you get there. A visit to IMPERII is definitely worth it!

Erstmalig auf Empfehlung besucht und spontan begeistert! Entspannte Atmosphäre, schöne Einrichtung, top Personal! Tatar war herausragend gut, ebenso die hausgemachte Pasta mit frittierter Salsiccia Wurst, exzellent! Die Gerichte sind von der Größe her im Tapas-Stil, man kann also je nach Hunger 2 bis Gerichte auswählen. Burger und Kalbsschnitzel ebenfalls sehr gut. Cocktails in herausragender Qualität, sehr gute Beratung durch das authentisch freundliche Personal. Fazit: unbedingt besuchen!

Thoughtful, balanced cocktails that sweeten your evening.

The two of us were in this very nicely presented restaurant last night. The food was not a revelation, the portions were very, very small, but the price was completely exorbitant. Overall, the staff seemed to have no knowledge of the catering industry. We come from the Düsseldorf area, a restaurant with this performance would probably have no chance of surviving here. And finally, there was no soap or a working towel dispenser in the men's room. It is completely incomprehensible to us how one can praise such a store so highly.

Very nice bar and restaurant with exceptionally friendly service. The unique selling point here is the cocktails, or more precisely the creative presentation of them. The almost non-existent curfew outside allowed orders to be placed until shortly before 1 a.m. Unthinkable here in Munich. Prices are not low for Leipzig, but are definitely justified here. On our favorites list for the next visit to Leipzig.

Wir waren heute als Familie unterwegs. Das leckere Essen und die tollen Cocktails wurden gepaart mit einer sehr guten und aufmerksamen Servicequalität. Für unseren 5jährigen gab es extra weniger Gewürze und zwei unterschiedliche Brotvarianten. Habt vielen Dank, es war ein schönes Geburtstagsessen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Impeccable service and food. We had a few plates to share. Would recommend the garlic prawns and Japanese cabbage pancake and the fish was delicious. Couldn’t fault anything and the service was great. The waitresses spoke English and gave us a menu in English.

Im Imperii gibt es nicht nur sehr eine aufmerksame Bedienung sondern auch tolle Drinks, es ist etwas laut aufgrund der Räumlichkeit. Aber was herausragend ist ….das Essen ist Spitzenklasse, ich hatte heute Kabeljau, besser kann man nicht kochen. Große Klasse und Vielen Dank.

Very stylish bar, delicious cocktails which are sensationally prepared and taste great. Currywurst with fries is also highly recommended as a snack. A visit here is very worthwhile.

Ok, but nothing special. Probably aimed more at a younger clientele. I didn't like the atmosphere, it was a tiring sound, probably because it was a Saturday. Was here a few times now 2 years later and completely revised my first impression. Service super nice and competent. Drinks and food really first class. The audience was pleasantly mixed and there was no annoying boom-bum music this time :-)

Excellent cocktails in creative vessels. From a bathtub with a rubber duck to a takeout box for Chinese food, everything has to be taken into account. The atmosphere is slightly upscale. There is very quiet music playing in the background. You can have a very good time. You can also sit comfortably at the bar.

There were two of us there and we had a delicious dinner. We had the gnocci with asparagus. There was also very tasty wine in a great atmosphere. The service was very nice and gave us great advice. We would love to come back!! An absolute recommendation

I was passing through with a friend and we were looking for a place in the area for something to eat and a few drinks. Based on the recommendation and photos of the offer, we quickly decided on the IMPERII. When we arrived on site we were given a table. The choice was a beef tartare. Unfortunately the pieces of meat were very large and frozen inside. Funnily enough, there were also tendons on many of the pieces. The tartare was very mustardy and there was only half a slice of bread for 200g of tartare. According to the service person there was no more in the kitchen. I ate half of it. Food was cleared away. The red wine was also served relatively cool. I described the problems with the tartar. The bill still came in full. It's a shame because the menu and drinks list made a very interesting impression. Maybe yesterday was an exception.

It was perfect all around. We sat outside and were served very friendly and competently. What I liked best were the descriptions of the drinks in the drink menus. You can't decide, the selection here is so good! The food (the “bar snacks”) was also very tasty. We had the mixed Japanese platter. The cocktails are exceptional too! Definitely try it!

The ambience and service were very good, but the food was really outstanding. We had the Icelandic cod which emotionally sent us straight back to our Iceland vacation. A perfect combination of herbs and spices. The cocktails and the appropriate explanations from the staff were very imaginative and delicious.

From the ambience to the cuisine to the cocktails, just a big compliment and a thank you to the people who still live their profession with such passion and who allow guests to experience this. Here you simply know what you are paying for and it is definitely worth a visit.

When "tradition" has to give way to modernity... We had two cocktails there, but were rather disappointed. The Mai Tai we ordered was very watered down. The mojito was made with white sugar. The decoration is dried fruit, which looks great, but should be served in a bowl as a potpourri... Since my companion is VERY knowledgeable about preparing cocktails, our enthusiasm was limited.

Great creative cuisine, including Japanese okonomiyaki, which is rarely available in Germany. But the cocktail creations are also worth a visit. Gladly again!

We had one cocktail each and were both not impressed. I wasn’t horrible but also not really great. We found it difficult to understand from the menu what was in teh cocktails and there wasn‘t a lot of explanation from the waiter. Although I was recommended a crowd pleaser, I thought it tasted like nothing much in particular (maybe thats why it pleases the crowds?) with a light scent of raw egg that I found offputting. Also my partner’s cocktail tasted fine but nothing special. Maybe we chose the wrong drinks and the bar is really central, so if you don‘t want to venture far, it might be worth a shot, but we won‘t be returning.

For us, the best cocktail bar in the city with classics and creative creations on the menu, which are mixed with selected (organic) ingredients and our own products with a lot of know-how. Courteous, friendly staff with personal charm without being intrusive. Atmosphere is nice, dark and dignified and, above all, smoke-free in the main guest room / extra smoking lounge (unfortunately too rare in Leipzig, so worth mentioning). Unfortunately the upper part is a bit secluded and without a view of the bar. The food was creative but definitely had more room for improvement than the cocktails. Reservations make sense - but also to have spontaneous bar seats for a cocktail.

Ich kann an dieser Stelle nur die Cocktails bewerten, diese waren Außergewöhnlich, fancy und etwas speziell. Der Service war sehr freundlich und engagiert, mein ausdrückliches Lob! Nichts für jeden Tag, aber mit Sicherheit ein besonderes Erlebnis.

You will be greeted very friendly and given advice. The atmosphere and audience is very mixed, from young to older. Very pleasant. Very unusual individual card. The surprise factor is guaranteed and at great prices that are not out of the ordinary. Unfortunately we were only in Leipzig for one night, otherwise it would almost become a new regular bar. We were just there to have a cocktail. The place directly at the bar is highly recommended. You can (in our case) watch the bartender at work and get interesting tips and facts about the drinks. The cocktails were super tasty.

The names of the drinks are very creative, as are the ingredients and flavors, but sometimes they don't harmonize with each other. Unfortunately service was catastrophic. First round cocktails 25 minutes. Second lap 15 minutes, 1 glass of tap water for the driver 12 minutes with another request. Shop was normally full. Service was very nice in contact, and also more attentive afterwards. Overall, it is questionable whether this does justice to the best bar in Germany.

The service is impeccable and fast. The drinks were absolutely amazing and the staff are even better. Highly recommend.

Eine empfehlenswerte Cocktailbar im Zentrum der Innenstadt. Üblicherweise gut besucht, daher ist eine Reservierung empfohlen. Leider ist der Gastraum recht "laut".

Schönes Lokal und tolles Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr lecker und dazu habe ich eine Cocktailempfehlung probiert, die auch sehr gut war (irgendwas mit Whisky und Absinth - super!!!). Kann man auf jeden Fall machen.

Sehr besondere Cocktail Bar mit ausgefallene Cocktails, sowohl im Geschmack als auch die Darreichung. Sehr nettes Ambiente und super freundliche Bedienung, die geduldig alles erklärt hat und je nach Geschmack gute Empfehlungen hatte. Preise etwas höher aber definitiv gerechtfertigt.

Ein Spontanbesuch im IMPERII, der mich begeistert hat. Zuerst fällt das gemütliche und ruhige Ambiente auf. Tolle, aufmerksame und sympathische Servicekräfte nehmen die Wünsche auf und beraten zur Auswahl. Dazu fand ich die Details zu den raffinierten Gewürzen bei der Brot-Vorspeise klasse. Mir gefiel, dass die Menükarte nicht überladen war. Die Gerichte sind eher ausgefallenen auf einem höherem Preisniveau. Geschmacklich war Pasta aus Sardinien ein Genuss. Für den großen Hunger reicht diese Portionsgröße jedoch nicht. Eine weitere Stärke ist auch die Auswahl und Kompetenz rund um Cocktails.

Zentral gelegen, die Auswahl an traditionellen und außergewöhnlichen Cocktails ist groß und ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam. Die Vorspeisen die wir zu den Drinks bestellt haben waren unglaublich lecker. Man kann draußen gemütlich sitzen.

Wieder in Leipzig, wieder im Imperii. Wieder ein schöner Abend! Wieder ein 5er. Der Black Forrest Punch ist ... lecker! Nur an der Bierkultur sollte noch gearbeitet werden: die Gläser spülen damit die Schaumkrone nicht zusammenfällt, nicht aus einem abgestandenem Glas einschenken damit es schneller geht und alles wäre gut. Aber ins Imperii geht man schließlich wegen der Cocktails! Tolle Bedienung, interessante Cocktails! Wirklich wohltuend eine Bedienung zu haben die in der Lage ist die Gäste zu beraten! Die Akustik im Raum geht leider in Richtung Bahnhofshalle und die Musik ist total unpassend. ( wobei Musik natürlich geschmackssache ist, aber "bum bum jaul" zu Spitzencocktails passt halt nicht). Trotzdem ein "Fünfer"
