Great atmosphere. Super friendly, warm, and attentive staff. The drinks and food are simply superb. We'll definitely be back, because we want to try all the cocktails.

A very cozy bistro. The bartender was really friendly, but we found the waitress a bit grumpy. The food was simply delicious, although I found the salmon pieces a bit bland (I'd sprinkle some fresh fish seasoning on them), but the super tasty fries made up for that.

The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately it always took quite a while for the next order to be taken. The food was good, the schnitzel a bit salty, but that's a matter of taste.

The end of our evening couldn't have been better than here at Imperii with delicious cocktails! The service was attentive, friendly, and quick, the cocktails were also a visual highlight, and next time we'll have dinner here as well – the food at the next table also looked excellent. The menu is very extensive with a wide selection – not just bar drinks. See you soon!

I asked if I could get a table for maybe three people, but I didn't know if my colleagues would be there. That was okay. The waitress didn't smile, and everything was prepared so carelessly. The food, the most expensive on the menu, Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad, was a bit undercooked and the breading was falling off. The potato salad was missing something... cooked without love or taste. I'm a big potato salad fan, but unfortunately, this one wasn't great. The place was empty, three tables, including mine, were occupied, and yet I was repeatedly asked when my colleagues would be arriving, because otherwise I'd have to go to another table. I hurried and left. Not good, too bad, it was recommended to me... I can't recommend it to anyone.

The steak was perfect, the dessert average.

Cocktails are very special, and pretty fancy presentation. I can imagine if some of them are designed for competition. The cheif bartender was very friendly and I feel sorry for him that I have to leave this bad review. The people doing the service outside really ruined the night! I felt that one of the waiteress was already drunk, and at certain point there was even an "employee party" outside. Not sure if this is the vibe your team want to create, but I certainly don't appreciate it. Maybe better to have a policy that prohibits your emplyees from drinking too much during the shift?

The food was very tasty, and the drinks were also very good. The wines were delicious, and the ambiance was also very pleasant. The service was also good, but could have been a bit more attentive in some situations.

A truly beautiful ambiance and fantastic staff. Some of the cocktails are a bit daring, but if you're looking to try something different, there's a great selection here. There are also classics, so there's something for every taste. We'll be back.

I'm rather disappointed. I chose this bar to treat someone to a birthday party. The pictures on Google look very good. The atmosphere is cozy. The location is central. Reservations are easy. My visit: I was disappointed by the small menu. I had expected more dishes. The lights at our table went out twice, and we were left sitting in the dark. The food was... a bit lackluster. I think €14 for pasta with sauce and no other ingredients is a bit too much. The taste was okay. My burger was a bit too dry for me personally. €70 for two people. Value for money wasn't quite as good for me. We didn't try the cocktails, but it probably would have been a better idea. I won't be returning again.

I wanted to try something new with my girlfriend and that's how I discovered IMPERII. The beautiful ambiance beckoned us, and we were completely captivated. The menu is manageable but offers something for everyone. The dishes (pasta, veal schnitzel, and a sweet dessert) were beautifully presented and deliciously delicious. Everything had that certain something. When we asked about the dishes, the friendly waiter always shared a suggestion from the chef, which rounded out the meal, and you could really feel the idea behind it while eating. It sounds strange, but it was truly delicious. The drinks were also very tasty, and you can try something unusual. If you're looking for something more sophisticated than Cuba Libre and the like, you'll definitely find something you like here. The price was a bit more expensive than at a typical chain restaurant/bar, but it was definitely worth the money and completely reasonable. We had a great evening and certainly won't be the last time we're there. :)

A bar with a high standard. Three of us were there on July 10th and thoroughly enjoyed the quality of the drinks and the bartender's explanations. The bartender's own creations are very successful; these aren't experiments, but rather sophisticated recipes outside the mainstream. We didn't eat anything; we were already full.

After a wonderful concert evening, the mood was set for a cocktail. A quick search revealed that good things can be very close. With its stylish interior, the Imperii invites you to linger. The creations, some of which are presented with pictures, make it difficult to decide, but since you only have to choose between very good and even better, you can't go wrong. Rounded off by friendly service, you'll quickly lose track of time here. I can only give it an absolute recommendation if you want to spend an evening quietly and tastefully. For now, all I can do is long for and hope for a quick reunion.

We've been there three times and were very satisfied each time! The menu features unusual items, which are presented very stimulatingly and taste excellent! The cocktails are sensationally good, some very creative! And the service is extremely friendly, even though the place is full. Very dog-friendly! Good value for money. Great!

Truly one of the best bars we've been to so far, with incredibly unique cocktails and very friendly and attentive staff. One of the bar managers even told us that they were voted the best bar in Germany, which is completely understandable, and the prices are also reasonable.

Imperii is a wonderful restaurant and exclusive bar. You won't find anything "standard" there 🥰 The staff all have their own personal way of communicating, which is authentic and very open. Anyone who watches the bartender at work quickly realizes that he loves his job and is passionate about it. You can taste the same in all the wonderful dishes that leave the kitchen. The menu is small and absolutely appealing. It's the many details that make the food there so wonderfully different and a true (positive) experience for the palate. The drinks and cocktails are very special, and I haven't enjoyed some of them anywhere else. It's a shame I live so far away; otherwise I'd definitely have my "regulars' table" ❤️

Aufgrund eines sehr positiven Zeitungsartikels waren wir im Imperii. Wir hatten vorab reserviert, aber die Mitarbeiterin hatte unseren Namen nicht gleich gefunden. Sie stehen nicht im Buch! Wir haben dann einen schönen Tisch am Fenster bekommen. Die Dame blieb frostig. Wie man ohne ein Lächeln im Service tätig sein kann, bleibt mir ein Rätsel. Später bediente uns zum Glück ein sehr netter junger Mann. Das Essen war gut, aber das Lokal ist eher eine Bar mit Essen. Für meinen Geschmack ist das Lokal auch zu laut. Beim Cocktailmixen verstand man sein eigenes Wort nicht mehr.

In the first week of April we had the pleasure of hosting two events at Imperii and we are absolutely thrilled. The staff was nice, friendly and always up for a laugh. The food was excellent, and the snacks that were provided during the day - such as fruit and bars - were lovingly prepared. The only drawback was the WiFi, which unfortunately often didn't work reliably. At this point we would like to thank you again for the great 2 1/2 days. We'd love to come back any time!

I can't say anything about the food, but the coffee and cocktails were very good. We sat at the bar in a relaxed conversation with the bartender. On August 1st, 2025 there will be a big celebration for the 10th anniversary in front of the bar on the street. Sounded like an interesting event.

I was there with two friends to have a relaxed cocktail. Because we are students, we were initially prepared to drink a little more slowly and perhaps not order more because of the very high prices. While our glasses were still half full, we were asked a few times if we wanted to order something else. After 2 hours, the waitress told us that she would like to give the table to other customers because they didn't make enough sales with us. We were then rudely asked to leave. It's a real shame how little this bar cares about the well-being of the customer. We felt very uncomfortable and will certainly not be returning or recommending this company to anyone. The fact that the drinks and the ambience were quite good was canceled out by the invasive and degrading service.

Nice location in the center of Leipzig. The ambience is great, the food tasted delicious and the service was top. The menu is very manageable, but still varied and there is something for everyone. In my opinion it speaks of freshness and quality. The open bar and restaurant area offers everyone an opportunity to linger in a cozy atmosphere, whether just for a drink or with a delicious meal. I can definitely recommend it.

I found the restaurant very nice. The service was good and quick, even though all the tables in the restaurant were occupied. I found the cocktails to be exceptional. What was extraordinary were the ingredients - for example, I had one with goat's milk. I can recommend the restaurant.

I've had this bar on my list for a long time and was looking forward to an evening with good drinks and delicious food. To my disappointment there was only one vegetarian main course and it was quite tasteless and the portion was small. The drink selection is large, I tried a few classics. They were ok, but they didn't blow me away either. Too bad!

My order was forgotten/ignored for around 40 min and then the food was rushed and one dish was uncooked.

The Imperii is a true gem! The combination of excellent food and first-class cocktails in a stylish ambience is unbeatable. An absolute must for anyone visiting Leipzig! 5 stars!

The food was good and the location is attractive – praise for that! Unfortunately there were a few points in the service that spoiled the evening for us: • Our hot food was served at different times. When we asked, we were told that a mistake had been made when ordering. So we had the choice of eating separately or one person would have had to enjoy their food cold. So we ate our warm (rather expensive) food one after the other. Unfortunately there was no excuse for this. • We were only able to order drinks after the starters had been cleared - that was the only time they asked for drinks, but the drinks we ordered were not brought. • Meanwhile, most of the wait staff sat at the bar and chatted loudly. Two employees went out for a smoke without paying any attention to our wishes. All in all, we can say that we will not visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it. To her answer: the offer to take the food back with us was never made to us. All they said was that something went wrong with the order.

Leipzig's only real cocktail bar. Very good cocktails with very good categorization on the menu. You should definitely not order standard cocktails here and embark on a little journey to new flavors. Not cheap but definitely worth every cent.

We wanted to have a nightcap cocktail and luckily we ended up there. Great bar, great cocktail menu, friendly staff. The cocktails are amazing and the bartender is top notch. Despite the constant stress, a nice word was exchanged because the location was well attended. Prices are reasonable due to the quality of the cocktails.

I don't understand all the positive reviews. It's true that the ambience is nice. But otherwise it is not recommended: 1. The staff is not trained in gastronomy at all. - A group of 7 people had empty glasses on the table for 50 minutes. Even though we sat in the middle, we were never asked for a refill. - If there weren't certain drinks, you were just told that you should choose something else from the wine list, no recommendation from the staff. - It was cleared over our heads, incredibly easy. 2. Dishes are ridiculously small, but very expensive. The menu is very small. 3. Since the service was non-existent, we didn't give a tip, whereupon the waiter openly rolled his eyes. And there was no farewell whatsoever. If you only drink one cocktail, the problems probably won't be noticed. If you go there with the intention of staying longer, you will be disappointed. We're never going there again.

An incredibly beautiful ambience with a cocktail menu where you can taste and experience the attention to detail. The bartenders love what they do and you can taste it with every drink. A clear recommendation if you love good cocktails or want to immerse yourself in this world. Five stars doesn't do it justice as it deserves a minimum of 10.

We were looking for a nice bar in Leipzig and found it at IMPERII. The bar is exceptionally stylish and the ambience is simply great. The cocktails are not only delicious, but also presented particularly creatively and lovingly - a real highlight. The food is of high quality and the service was very friendly and attentive. The prices are absolutely justified for what you get there. A visit to IMPERII is definitely worth it!

Erstmalig auf Empfehlung besucht und spontan begeistert! Entspannte Atmosphäre, schöne Einrichtung, top Personal! Tatar war herausragend gut, ebenso die hausgemachte Pasta mit frittierter Salsiccia Wurst, exzellent! Die Gerichte sind von der Größe her im Tapas-Stil, man kann also je nach Hunger 2 bis Gerichte auswählen. Burger und Kalbsschnitzel ebenfalls sehr gut. Cocktails in herausragender Qualität, sehr gute Beratung durch das authentisch freundliche Personal. Fazit: unbedingt besuchen!

Thoughtful, balanced cocktails that sweeten your evening.

The two of us were in this very nicely presented restaurant last night. The food was not a revelation, the portions were very, very small, but the price was completely exorbitant. Overall, the staff seemed to have no knowledge of the catering industry. We come from the Düsseldorf area, a restaurant with this performance would probably have no chance of surviving here. And finally, there was no soap or a working towel dispenser in the men's room. It is completely incomprehensible to us how one can praise such a store so highly.

Very nice bar and restaurant with exceptionally friendly service. The unique selling point here is the cocktails, or more precisely the creative presentation of them. The almost non-existent curfew outside allowed orders to be placed until shortly before 1 a.m. Unthinkable here in Munich. Prices are not low for Leipzig, but are definitely justified here. On our favorites list for the next visit to Leipzig.
