Raskolnikoff is a true highlight in Dresden's Neustadt district. The venerable house on Böhmische Straße, with its unique charm, makes a visit truly special. Inside, a cozy, rustic atmosphere awaits, while outside, in the garden, you can relax on warm days in a green oasis in the heart of the city. The cuisine impresses with regional ingredients sourced from many small producers in Saxony. This is immediately noticeable in the freshness and quality of the dishes. The homemade pelmeni and the changing seasonal dishes, which are lovingly and creatively prepared, are particularly recommended. Added to this is the very friendly and attentive service, which makes your stay a pleasant one. Tip: It's best to make a reservation in advance, especially if you want to sit in the beautiful garden. A restaurant you absolutely must experience!

I discovered it spontaneously, and it was actually delicious and worth a visit! I've had the pleasure of eating borsch in Berlin, and this one is no less impressive.

The place was a bit odd, and I wasn't particularly impressed, but I went in on a recommendation, and the food was very good. The atmosphere wasn't quite to my liking.

This is about the restaurant. A great friendly somewhat homey restaurant. The restaurant is sort of hidden if you havent been there before. I do recommend reserving (especially on weekends). The staff are lovely and the service was amazing. The food really surprised me and was a mix of classic, modern and local. The price is unbeatable. The portions are more than plentiful. Definitely worth a try when in Dresden.

The Raskolnikoff is a lovely restaurant with excellent food. BUT: How is it possible that all the vegetarian main courses contain nuts? This isn't an uncommon allergy, and it's more than annoying. For this reason, it would be very, very desirable to be able to view allergens online, so that reservations can be made elsewhere if in doubt...

We went to eat at the restaurant on Friday evening. From the outside, apart from the name sign, the restaurant is completely unimpressive and seems run-down. But as soon as you step inside, you realize that the interior has nothing to do with the exterior. We had a great seat outside in the courtyard. Both our drinks (cocktails and wine) and the food were simply delicious and perfectly matched. The service was also super friendly, and we never had to wait long. An absolute recommendation for this side of the Elbe in Dresden.

I had a great stay, at the heart of Neustadt in a cosy room and in great location. The vibe of the place is really unique.

So unassuming on the outside, so wonderful on the inside. Lovingly prepared food and a very quiet backyard.

Went for dinner in the garden. Very friendly service and great food. Unfortunately, there's no ventilation in the courtyard, and there's no smoking ban. Very inconsiderate table neighbors, and unfortunately, no consequences. Occupational safety for the service staff alone should require a complete smoking ban. Not to mention other guests who may have pre-existing health conditions.

The end of a road trip in beautiful Dresden and the result of a record purchase gave us a wonderful evening in the quaint backyard garden of the Raskonikoff. The food was truly fantastic, and I'm not just saying that. A small but very well-thought-out menu with high-quality products...the dessert was a dream. My husband and I scraped our plates clean. The service was very attentive—a passionate host. Thank you for the wonderful end to our stay in Dresden.

Rashkolnikov delivered the best dinner I’ve had in a while. The food was excellent, perfectly executed. Whoever is cooking here knows what they’re doing. The atmosphere and the backyard are a delight. Thanks to the team for a lovely evening! 10/10. Even the price was a pleasant surprise.

We were turned away by very unfriendly staff, as all the seats in the garden were reserved, and when we asked if we could sit in the empty interior, we received a rude "no." We won't try again.

We were there on a Saturday at 12 p.m. The restaurant is supposed to open at that time. However, the door was locked. Inside, we saw staff milling around, and there was also activity in the kitchen. Unfortunately, no one came to the door. When everything remained locked at 12:15 p.m., even though we were definitely seen by three different people inside the Raskolnikoff, and even after ringing the bell twice, there was no response, we had to move on along with another couple who were also waiting. The Purple Sauce was a more than adequate substitute! We definitely won't be going back to the Raskolnikoff...

I was here about 10 years ago on vacation. Today, a friend asked me if I knew a good restaurant in Dresden. One that didn't serve the standard dishes you get in every other restaurant in Berlin. Then I remembered how delicious and friendly I found it here. If you still remember the good food 10 years later, it's definitely worth 5 stars. I highly recommend it to my friend and everyone else❤️

Super nice, authentic accommodation in Dresden with a very cozy outdoor dining area and excellent food. The bathroom might be a bit small for taller guests, but otherwise the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

We had dinner at the Raskolnikoff Restaurant. The exterior of the building initially made us skeptical – but it's precisely this atmosphere that defines the restaurant! The food was consistently fantastic, and the atmosphere in the garden was very relaxing. A very good tip for a visit to Dresden.

The seating there is really nice, the food is very good, and the service is extremely friendly. I enjoy going there every now and then.

We only went to Raskolnikoff for dinner, and the borscht with pelmeni was fantastic! They immediately accommodated our request for a vegetarian alternative to the beef pelmeni on the menu. The food arrived quickly. The pelmeni themselves were incredibly delicious and full of flavor. The borscht was also very good (my Russian partner "approved" it). :)

A truly beautiful garden and good food, although not exactly cheap. The food initially sounds like a bit of a fusion dish, but it goes together perfectly. Friendly service, and an extra star for the inexpensive lemon water!

An extremely charming restaurant with plenty of character, located in the heart of the New Town! The pelmeni—we had the vegan version—were finely seasoned, creatively presented, and simply delicious. Raskolnikoff combines authentic cuisine with a relaxed atmosphere. The beautiful, casual outdoor seating in the courtyard is a standout. A definite recommendation!

I ate here today with a friend. We ate the mountain cheese pelmeni and the beef pelmeni and drank the green tea mango lemonade. Everything was a culinary revelation. We sat in the restaurant's courtyard next to the water fountain. I personally highly recommend Raskolnikov to anyone who enjoys delicious food in a relaxed, leafy atmosphere.

The Raskolnikoff in Dresden is like a literary novel for the palate: a bit of "Crime and Punishment" on the outside, while the inside is a culinary work of art with pelmeni, borscht, and lamb shank that would soothe even Raskolnikov's conscience. The backyard garden is so cozy you almost forget to get up. Reservations are absolutely essential, otherwise it gets crowded – like in Dostoyevsky's head! A real insider tip for anyone who wants to enjoy a rustic yet slightly upscale experience. Cheers to the Neustadt! More specifically: The service is attentive and friendly. The food is down-to-earth and delicious. The value for money is more in the "gentrified Neustadt" mode. The dishes are unsuitable for our children...but the pelmeni with tomato sauce and lemon sour cream tastes a bit strange. J

We love eating at Raskolnikoff. The pelmeni, in particular, are highly recommended. The best place to sit when the weather's nice is the back courtyard. The service was always very friendly and courteous. We can't rate the guesthouse or the rooms.

The look from the outside is very rustic, but kept that way on purpose. Inside you will be greeted by incredibly friendly and courteous staff. The interior exudes a pleasant charm, so that you immediately feel at home. The menu has a Russian touch, the dishes are imaginatively interpreted and are a real treat for the palate. There are also all the drinks your heart desires that go well with the food. In any case, always worth a visit.

I went to eat something exotic, but maserated meat is not my style, I tried it to find out what it was like. The salad very good.

Great food. The pluma is very well cooked and the square potato side dish complements the meat dish. Tip: get the creme brulee and the red ale. Have a spoon of the crème brulee and then have a sip of the red ale afterwards. A bliss!!!!

The taste of the pilmeni was excellent, but the quantity for 20 euros was a pure insult, more than 1 euro per pilmeni, I wasn't very hungry but I would need 3 portions to be even remotely full. Just a joke! 😕

A very quaint guesthouse, everything is very simple but very cozy. Great location, right in the new town, with many cafes and bars. The old town is about a 30-minute walk away, or the tram stops nearby. There's a parking garage right around the corner. Very friendly service. We felt at home.

Deep ceilings adorned with beautiful lighting that made the wood of the interior shine. Stylish and energetic, like the lady who treated us to delicacies. The pelmeni and burgers with salad were definitely delightful. The salad had a fresh and subtle dressing that nevertheless exuded perfection. The burger was decadent, the pelmeni were delicious. Despite not having a reservation (don't risk it), the super friendly girl gave us a table with the condition that we get up at 1:30 a.m. Enough Time. The place is beautiful, divided into 3 dining rooms and very emblematic. Russian and German fusion food. Little menu but enough for such elaborate dishes. We ate an incredible soup with a kind of ravioli to share and some specialties as a main course. Spectacular and romantic atmosphere.

We were guided by our travel guide book and were able to reserve a table. The small dining room was quickly filled and there was a nice, homely atmosphere. Nice and attentive staff. The choice was difficult but we were both thrilled with our food (pelmeni and beef tartare) and the dessert was a taste explosion (mousse au chocolat with vanilla ice cream and apple-cinnamon ragout). Great! Keep it up!

Our first dinner in Dresden, satisfied with the choice made. An excellent Borscht (the classic Russian/Ukrainian soup) and the Pelmeni (a sort of Russian ravioli that recall Polish pierogi) are also very good. Definitely worth the visit and the correct price.

Waren an einem Samstag Abend im Garten des Raskolnikoff. Man muss unbedingt reservieren (hatten wir)! Sonst wird es „eng“. Der Service war anfangs ein bisschen „schwierig“ (ich sag ihnen schon wann der Tisch fertig ist😳) dann aber sehr zuvorkommend und sehr nett! Das Essen war sehr solide, das Gesamtkonstrukt mit Ambiente aber sehr stimmig! Ein wunderbarer Abend!

This review goes only for the restaurant. I had Pelmeni with cheese: a classical local dish. It was very good. Plus a mango juice that was ok. The waitress was gentle. The garden is really a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. A hidden place to have a quiet dinner and feel in company (it was full when I arrived)

My impressions only relate to the restaurant, not to the guesthouse. The garden/courtyard in particular is the Raskolnikoff's great strength; indoors and/or in winter don't attract me. However, the garden has it all and offers an independent quality of stay. The daily menu offers 3-4 dishes, the regular menu offers a little more. We liked the food this time (cheese spaetzle with chorizo ​​and summer salad with burrito) excellently, with the exception of the tomatoes (old, tasteless). The open wines are delicious, some are too expensive, but at least there are cheaper alternatives. With its location, the Raskolikoff raises expectations that it can largely fulfill. We will definitely come back.
