Good Bohemian food, relaxed atmosphere, have been there several times

We spontaneously dropped in on a Thursday evening. Even at 8:30 p.m., it was still packed, but the atmosphere in the restaurant was noticeably good and cheerful. We managed to get a table and were served promptly. The wine recommendation wasn't quite our favorite, but that's obviously a personal preference. We didn't get a chance to try it beforehand, though. The food we ordered arrived quickly and was very tasty. The portions were large enough to fill us up, but not too full. So we also treated ourselves to one of the warm apple strudels. Very delicious! We really liked it and can definitely recommend "zum Franz"!

The food came quickly. The salad looked like it came from a packet. The portion of fries was so small. And the Worcestershire sauce was expired and blackened around the neck of the bottle.

Clear recommendation for this stop!! After the hike to the Schrammsteine, we treated ourselves to a treat here. No dish costs more than €18, but it is freshly prepared, lovingly prepared and tastes really great! There is a terrace with a view of the Falkenstein, but also a garden or seats in the restaurant. It would be important to keep an eye on the opening times! Weekends and public holidays!! But if so, a stop there is definitely worth it.

The hotel's location was very nice. Located right on the central square in Bad Schandau, with a great view of the Elbe River. The room was quite spacious. However, since we had a room facing the inner courtyard, more precisely above the connecting piece between the front and rear hotel buildings, it was unfortunately extremely dark. The refrigerator in the room hummed loudly, the bathroom lights had a loose connection, and the cleaning wasn't always to our satisfaction. Although we addressed the above points on the day of arrival, nothing was done. The breakfast buffet was not exceptional, but still quite extensive. The service could have been a bit more attentive, as used, empty plates remained for a long time and tables, even for larger groups, had to be completely cleared in a rush as the next guests were already queuing. The evening piano concerts in the bar were very nice. The cocktail menu was extensive but of very good quality. The hotel's wellness area is beautiful and has a great view. The pool water is a bit cool for my taste. When we were there, one of the three saunas in the hotel itself was not available. The adjoining Toskana-Therme spa, which is free for hotel guests, had mostly wet saunas and only two very hot dry saunas. The entire complex seems a bit dated. However, one positive was that free drinking water was available. Overall, we were not impressed with our stay and the service at the Hotel Elbresidenz. For a hotel in this price range, the service should be better/more attentive, and we should expect more accommodating service. However, that wasn't the case, so we probably won't be coming back.

There are delicious "livanzen," a Bohemian dessert specialty! Highly recommended!

We are on holiday at the Ostrauer Mühle campsite for the fourth time and often have dinner in the Flösserstube. The food tastes very tasty. Beautifully prepared and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The guest room is very tastefully decorated. Many thanks to the team - we'll be back.

If you're talking about fast food, it's a great place. In less than 60 minutes, four guests were fed...! Mini pizza for a great price, even at MCCES they still smile at you after you order. There is better nearby! After Easter, Bad Schandau is a service desert either way!

Very good dish using asparagus season - lemon risotto with salmon and fish with vegetables

We visited while passing through. You can only pay in cash, it is written on the door. The service was very good, friendly smiling waiters. The place is homely, cozy. The food - too salty and too much mustard for me, but every culture has its own dishes and tastes.

Had a delicious meal. Good schnitzel!

Delicious food, beautiful view, friendly staff, comfortably designed guest room. But: unfortunately you wait an eternity for your food. We waited over an hour. It is therefore advisable to eat something beforehand so as not to starve.

We went there for a drink after our climb up Lilienstein. No long waiting times, the service was great and organized.
