A one-day/one-night getaway, and it couldn't be more intimate ❤️ I received a warm welcome, and we immediately felt a mutual connection. I felt very comfortable, everything was done with a lot of heart, and I'll definitely be back ❤️

Despite stating that the store should be open according to Google, it was closed on December 27, 2024. Thank you for that. The owner's answer also speaks volumes - you immediately notice how important the customer is here. “ButterBeiDieFische” seems to be understood here in a rather one-sided way. And by the way: We are definitely not on a first-name basis!

For a fish platter priced at €27, it's quite simple. Service was friendly and pleasant. For me, however, what matters is what's on the plate, and that wasn't great.

A very good restaurant just behind the dike. The staff was very friendly and pleasant, the food was upscale, very tasty with refined touches. The wine pairing was solid and fairly priced, as were the four-course menu and my girlfriend's à la carte menu. The dessert was the weakest part, very good in its approach, but the rhubarb tart was a bit crunchy – understandable on a moderately busy evening, but they could have thought of a better preparation for the standard dessert with the evening menu. Despite this minor issue, overall, an all-around good restaurant visit; I would definitely recommend the Vier Jahreszeiten.

Seldom eaten as deliciously as here at the fish bistro. Had pike with vegetable noodles, my husband had fried fish with vegetable noodles. Terrific. Nice service

Recommended for fish lovers! On public holidays or during holiday periods you are on the safe side if you reserve a table. Food is always top notch and plentiful!

It's a fish stall and the herring rolls I got here were quite tasty.

As Cuxhaven residents, we had never eaten at this restaurant before! We'd heard both good and not-so-good things about it, so we decided to try it out for ourselves today. The waitress was friendly and very accommodating! The ambiance on the winter terrace was beautifully decorated. The food was delicious, and the meat was cooked to perfection. However, it was a bit too expensive for the price, which is why we're only giving it 4 stars.

Nice location close to and view of the sea. Can you dine inside or outside. We were in the next room inside because it was full outside. It is a disadvantage because most of the time employees are busy outside. We ordered a fish plate with fried potatoes, it was very tasty. But same dish, one is a bit too few fried potatoes. It's a shame, I don't feel like complaining because waiters almost never look at the next room. Food and drink prices are ok.

Excellent value for money, very friendly service and chef, and the food was delicious and plentiful. We'll be eating there more often now 💓

Very nice, small and cozy restaurant. Additionally a huge selection of gin. The food is really excellent and authentic. Both of our fish dishes were very tasty, prepared to perfection and seasoned very well. The desserts were also excellent. The owner is super friendly, helpful and is happy to answer any questions about the dishes, the wines on the ceiling or conjures up super interesting and delicious gin and tonic creations.
