Pride comes before a fall. I have never met such an extremely unsympathetic and arrogant owner or person 🤢 This person does not have the ability to take criticism or be customer-friendly. This person is also misogynistic because he doesn't let women say anything to him, even if you make a completely normal comment. It's probably due to his bad upbringing 👌 The food wasn't particularly good either, the fish was mushy and there was only enough for two cucumbers and a tomato on the plate. There wasn't a lemon on the plate either, instead you have to pay extra for the sauces. It took an extremely long time for the food to be brought because the owner is only interested in making money 👏 If you read through the critical reviews here, you can see that the negative reviews are truthful. I would rather ask myself why you seem so unsympathetic to certain visitors, but I'll probably say another stupid thing 😉

We visited Momo in February and all we can say is that it is our new favorite when it comes to fish. The quaint, small restaurant invites you to linger. Momo is friendly and helpful when choosing dishes. He advises with very good specialist knowledge. There is also a little story from his homeland. The menu is extensive, as are the dishes on the plate. The kitchen conjures up wonderful dishes. We were extremely satisfied and will definitely come back to Momo on our next February vacation!

Stop at Momo. A fisherman's parlor, very cozy. We always eat the fish platter special. More than plenty of fish, the best squid rings available. Plus a large portion of fried potatoes and fresh salad. The same employees for years, which shows a good atmosphere. Momo himself is the warmest person, friendly and communicative, but not intrusive. Always a little break from everyday life.

Very long waiting time without any bread being served. It was only moderately attended, but 30 minutes is too long. The matjes was piled high with thickly sliced ​​½ onion rings. The apple cream sauce was mayonnaise (not handmade) with a few pieces of apple and cucumber. An absolute imposition. My husband's fish fillet platter was 4 fish fillets, served dry. Without dip, sauce or a piece of lemon. The side dish for both dishes, fried potatoes, was quite ok. Could have been crispy Including 2 drinks €49 - not recommended.

You absolutely shouldn't keep this insider tip to yourself. Today we were able to get to know Momo and his fishing club. We left the Fischer-Treff filled with absolutely delicious fish in our stomachs and lots of happiness in our hearts and are already looking forward to our next visit in the summer to Cuxhaven and especially to Momo. Give Momo a smile and he will give you his heart and soul.

It was nice, but to be honest the quality isn't exactly the best. The fish was completely over-salted and given the high price, you would expect very good quality. Unfortunately we won't be coming again.

Very nice atmosphere and very big laurels in advance. Unfortunately, my plaice of Finkenwerder was drowned in oil, just like the fried potatoes. However, the fish platters looked quite appetizing. You have to like Momo's style.

The fish platters for several people are great. Fish stew is also very good and hard to make. Shrimp in garlic tomato sauce and scampi skewers are also delicious. The staff and the boss are very nice and take very good care of the guests. We will always come back as soon as we are in Cuxhaven.

We came to the restaurant by chance because, like in other restaurants, we could no longer reserve seats. In the end we were so happy that the others didn't have any free seats. The two of us ordered a fish platter special (please be hungry!), which we can highly recommend. You really notice how well the team works together with the boss. The tables are all very close together, so there is little ambience. However, the decoration is appropriate with fishing nets and all kinds of sea creatures. The waitresses were inattentive, which was a shame. The limandes was too salty and there weren't enough side dishes; the potatoes could have been much more. The salad was the worst in Cuxhaven and 3 weeks of vacation! He was sweetened! The redfish fillet with fried potatoes was excellent.

After many recommendations, we also went to Momo's Fischertreff. We ordered the Fischerplatte Special with fried potatoes and our daughter ordered the fried calamari with fries (can be found under “quick dishes” on the menu). We can't quite share most people's enthusiasm that they have the best food around. The fish and vegetables on the platter were good (but not world class). The fried potatoes are not crispy, but full of fat and mushy. The calamari was almost certainly simple pre-fried frozen calamari and didn't really stand out. The fries are just the way you know them from the restaurants. We addressed the criticism about the fried potatoes in a friendly manner to the waitress (female) and all we got was a shrug of the shoulders and “hm”! What definitely stands out positively about the Fischertreff is the owner Momo himself, his hospitality (definitely the best host!) and the atmosphere there and for that reason alone we will still eat there in the future (just not order fried potatoes or calamari again).

Unfortunately we had to wait 1¾ hours for our food and only after repeated inquiries did they respond and bring our grandchild bread with dip in advance. Food wasn't what the majority rated it either. Expected something better for the price.

Have been to Momos Fischertreff repeatedly and can only recommend the restaurant! Fish of the best quality, in very reasonable portions (everyone gets enough here) at fair prices. Recommendation: Try the noble fish platter. If you like something a little more classic, we recommend the haddock with mustard sauce. Top address in Cux with the ambience of a classic harbor restaurant. And there is always a smile for children.

Very tasty food! So far we've only ever driven past and decided to go out to eat here. Now we finally did it and we weren't disappointed. There was spontaneously space for 4 adults and one child. The staff are all really friendly. We had a good time sitting outside. There are cars on the adjacent street, but that's not a big deal.
