The tables are all very close together, so there is little ambience. However, the decoration is appropriate with fishing nets and all kinds of sea creatures. The waitresses were inattentive, which was a shame. The limandes was too salty and there weren't enough side dishes; the potatoes could have been much more. The salad was the worst in Cuxhaven and 3 weeks of vacation! He was sweetened! The redfish fillet with fried potatoes was excellent.

If you're on the corner, you have to visit and try this fish hut. Would love to come back Thank you for the nice hospitality and the great food.

Unfortunately we had to wait 1¾ hours for our food and only after repeated inquiries did they respond and bring our grandchild bread with dip in advance. Food wasn't what the majority rated it either. Expected something better for the price.

After many recommendations, we also went to Momo's Fischertreff. We ordered the Fischerplatte Special with fried potatoes and our daughter ordered the fried calamari with fries (can be found under “quick dishes” on the menu). We can't quite share most people's enthusiasm that they have the best food around. The fish and vegetables on the platter were good (but not world class). The fried potatoes are not crispy, but full of fat and mushy. The calamari was almost certainly simple pre-fried frozen calamari and didn't really stand out. The fries are just the way you know them from the restaurants. We addressed the criticism about the fried potatoes in a friendly manner to the waitress (female) and all we got was a shrug of the shoulders and “hm”! What definitely stands out positively about the Fischertreff is the owner Momo himself, his hospitality (definitely the best host!) and the atmosphere there and for that reason alone we will still eat there in the future (just not order fried potatoes or calamari again).

Fresh fish, freshly prepared, warm atmosphere. Rustic inside, summery outside. So Cuxhaven is delicious too!

Have been to Momos Fischertreff repeatedly and can only recommend the restaurant! Fish of the best quality, in very reasonable portions (everyone gets enough here) at fair prices. Recommendation: Try the noble fish platter. If you like something a little more classic, we recommend the haddock with mustard sauce. Top address in Cux with the ambience of a classic harbor restaurant. And there is always a smile for children.

We were there on 7/20/24. Due to the sunny weather we sat outside. It was simply equipped but the service was super friendly, as if you had known each other for a long time, and the food was really, really good. We will be back.

Very tasty food! So far we've only ever driven past and decided to go out to eat here. Now we finally did it and we weren't disappointed. There was spontaneously space for 4 adults and one child. The staff are all really friendly. We had a good time sitting outside. There are cars on the adjacent street, but that's not a big deal. The food was brought to us quite quickly, it was well attended. It was very tasty, the price was reasonable and we were full too. We'd love to come back.

There is a lot of fish. The fried potatoes are like everywhere else in restaurants, nice and brown but soft. The side salad is bland - it can be made tastier and better with little effort. The service is quick and very friendly. Conclusion: If you want to be full, you will be full here.

At Momo's Fischer-Treff you can get delicious, beautifully prepared fish. Our first route always leads to Momo. The Shashuka is super delicious. We are looking forward to the next time.

We were there at Pentecost and it was very pleasant. Nice host, nice beer garden and if you like fish, this is the place for you. We had the fish platter plus at a good price per person of €26, which included everything from a colorful salad, three kinds of fish and Mediterranean vegetables! Rustic fish restaurant, very welcoming host, delicious food

During our stay in Cuxhaven we had dinner at this lovely restaurant. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. A large variety of fresh fish dishes. We ordered the scampi and a grill all accompanied by side dishes of potatoes, salad and sauce. EXCELLENT and WELL COOKED fish. Value for money: EXCELLENT. We will definitely be back on our next holiday in Cuxhaven. Super recommended. HI

This was our second time there and we received a warm welcome. You immediately feel at home in a cozy atmosphere. The food was a dream, large portions and very tasty. We would definitely like to come back.

Unfortunately we only came into the restaurant to be allowed to go out again. We were greeted with a disrespectful manner because the owner wanted to take advantage of his property rights. Just because we didn't want to hang our jackets with our VALUABLES in a cloakroom because it said "we assume no liability" which was unfortunately very disappointing. He also immediately became abusive and banned me from continuing to stay in the restaurant

We would have liked senior portions for less money. Not disabled friendly. Sanitary facilities are on the first floor and can be reached via stairs.

When we are in Cuxhaven, “Momos Fischer-Treff” is always a fixed item on the program. In a rustic atmosphere, the welcome from the boss (Momo) is warm and refreshing. You are given the feeling of being part of the “Fischer-Treff family” and that you are really welcome at any time. This way of dealing with customers is in a class of its own. The food that is served is really very good, praise to the kitchen. Special requests (fried potatoes instead of French fries, extra tartar sauce... and... and... and) are taken into account without any “murmurs”. The prices are reasonable but still humane and affordable. Despite all the praise I have given here, there is unfortunately one "shortcoming"... but that is probably more due to the design of the old fish halls... the toilets are on the first floor... they can only be accessed via a staircase to reach. Hardly accessible for people with walking difficulties or wheelchair users without assistance.

Many years ago we ended up at the Fischertreff by chance. We actually wanted to leave again because we didn't like the atmosphere that much. But one guest said to us "stay here, you won't say it". Ok, we stayed...and we actually didn't regret it! Never!!! The owner has changed, Momo is unique and friendly, nice, attentive and always ready for a joke with every guest. The food...really delicious, no matter what you choose! I love the scampi with incredibly delicious aioli, my favorite is a mixed fish platter. We have to drive about 80 km to eat at the Fischertreff, but every km is worth it. A very big THANK YOU to this truly exceptional restaurant.

We pre-ordered the fish platter with fried potatoes for two people on New Year's Eve and on December 31st. picked up. Had to wait a bit because everything was freshly prepared when we arrived in person. But - THAT was more than worth it. The fish was on point (not dry but no longer fidgety either 😁). The owner himself hops around the restaurant, which has an absolutely authentic ambience. I like these small harbor restaurants that take you into the world of seafaring. More than an absolute recommendation and a little tip for Cuxhaven tourists 🥰🙈.
