Oxstedter Hof in Cuxhaven

Wir waren mit vier Personen + Hund im Oxstedter Hof und hatten einen wunderschönen Abend. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. 😃

Wir waren zum Grillbuffet. Leider war es nicht empfehlenswert. Die Nackensteaks waren sehr knorpelig und so dünn geschnitten, dass sie nur gegart waren, Röstaromen gab es keine. Geflügel ebenfalls so dünn, dass es ,sobald es durchgegart war, viel zu trocken gewesen ist. Einzig, die Rippchen waren gut, da konnte man ja auch an der Höhe nichts machen. Die Bratwurst ließ sich mit dem Messer kaum schneiden. Was das warme Gemüse sein sollte- keine Ahnung. Sah aus, wie verkocht und passt für mich in der Art nicht zu einem Grillbuffet . Salate hausgemacht, das wird vom Chef besonders hervorgehoben. Klassische Arten, Kartoffelsalat, Nudelsalat, Krautsalat, Wachsbrechbohnen, Gurkensalat und ein bunter Salat mit Feta. Allesamt schal und ziemlich geschmacklos. Ich hatte nicht unbedingt "mehr" erwartet, aber mal etwas Anderes, als die Hausfrau /der Hausmann schon vor 20 Jahren serviert hat. Wobei ich bei "Hausfrauen schon besseren Geschmack, mehr Pfiff hatte. Das Ambiente war leider auch enttäuschend. Der Gastraum sehr dunkel. Das Saltbuffet sah leider lieblos "hingeklatscht" aus. Das erwarte ich so nicht in einem Restaurant- höchstens in einer Kantine. Wir waren schon mal zu einem Grünkohlessen dort- (ebenfalls geschmacklos) und wollten es noch einmal probieren. Ging leider daneben, wir sind nicht zufrieden und eine 3. Enttäuschung möchte ich nicht haben. Wir kommen somit nicht wieder.

Landgasthaus, mit sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern und das Essen auf dem Punkt. Mehr geht nicht jeder Zeit wieder.

Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Portionen sind üppig. Das Schnitzel war riesig und super lecker. Die Preise sind mega fair. Ein Plausch mit dem Chef hat unseren positiven Eindruck zusätzlich untermauert. Der Oxstedter Hof ist definitiv zu empfehlen. :-)

Ein richtig gutes Gasthaus. Das Personal lustig, freundlich, schnell und immer ein nettes Wort. Die Speisekarte einfach Spitze. Regionales und Saisonales Essen. Dazu die passenden hervorragende Weine, oder ein gutes Bier. Wir haben in der Nähe unseren Urlaub verbracht ind sind zufällig auf den Oxstedter Hof gestossen. Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit guter Sitzmöglichkeit auch draußen. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, der Service sehr gut und freundlich. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Dies war mein erster Besuch im Oxstedter Hof trotz knapp 40 Jahren Urlaubserfahrung im Land Wursten. Wärmstens zu empfehlen. Ambiente und Lokalität vereinen rustikalen Wirtshaus- und Kneipencharakter im Gastraumbereich miteinander, ohne das beide Komponenten auf sich allein gestellt wären. Der Festsaal im hinteren Bereich dient auch größeren Gesellschaften als stilvolle Lokalität und die Sitzplätze auf der Außenterrasse lassen selbst bei sommerlichen Temperaturen nicht das Gefühl von Enge oder Stauhitze entstehen. Als besonders hervorzuheben erachte ich, der ich selbst einige Jahre Arbeitserfahrung in der Gastronomie besitze, die freundliche, zugewandte und ehrlich an den Kundenwünschen interessierte Art des Personals, das mich bereits bei Kontaktanfrage freundlich auf eine geschlossene Gesellschaft an meinem ersten Besuchstag hinwies und unaufdringlich ein Alternativangebot für einen Kleingruppenbesuch vorschlug. Am vereinbarten (mit Reservierung) Besuchsabend blieb kein Sonderwusch offen. Besonders die innerhalb des Personals stimmigen und freundlichen Umgangsformen empfand ich als angenehm, was mir einen deutlichen Hinweis auf eine gute Zusammenarbeit seitens der Personalführung sowie der jeweiligen Dienstschichten gibt. Insbesondere in Ausflugs-, Event- und touristischer Gastronomie sowie der Großgastronomie von Einrichtungen vermisse ich diese nach außen hin sichtbare würdigende Freundlichkeit des Personals zuweilen merklich. Auch Wartezeiten und Speisenqualität kann ich hervorheben, die einen kleinen, zusätzlichen besonderen Charakter durch die individuelle Auswahlmöglichkeit der Beilagen erhält, die zu den meisten Gerichten verschiedentlich zusammengestellt werden können. Besonders hat mich die überwiegend auf regionale Spezialitäten ausgerichtete Getränkekarte eingenommen, die großteilig lokale Betriebe unterstützt, statt ausschließlich marktbekannte und bundesweit vertretene Produkte in den Fokus zu rücken.

1A Service, geschmacklich sehr gut, Ambiente sehr schön, Preis/Leistung fünf Sterne, absolut in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Waren spontan mal essen. Sogut und Bürgerlich haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Bedienung war sehr nett und alles schnell gebracht. Essen war sehr lecker und heiß (was selten vorkommt).Ein Lob auf diesem Wege in die Küche. Wenn wir wieder mal zum Urlaub in der Ecke sind, kommen wir bestimmt wieder zum Essen. Dankeschön

Wir Jungs waren dort am Pfingstmontag. Der Biergarten ist super, aber auch innen ist alles sehr sauber und macht einen guten Eindruck. Das Personal läuft in vernünftiger Arbeitskleidung herum und der Service ist erstklassig. Wir waren dort um Eis zu essen, welches sehr lecker war! Ich hatte ein Amarena Kirsch Becher mit ganz vielen Amarena Kirschen. So viele, und das mit Abstand, waren noch nie bei mir in meinem Lieblingseis. Wir haben beschlossen, demnächst dort auch essen zu gehen. Für mich nun immer ein Ausflug wert! Übrigens Küstennah und mit einem Golfplatz in der Nähe dürfte das auch ein beliebtes Reiseziel für Touristen sein.

Das war der 3. vergebliche Versuch, dort auf der Terrasse etwas zu essen. Wir saßen eine Viertelstunde am Tisch, rund um uns herum kamen auch neue Gäste, die dann recht zügig ihre Bestellung aufgeben durften. Wir nicht, obwohl zumindest der eine Herr aus dem Service uns eindeutig bemerkt/gesehen hatte. Warum die eigentlich schöne Terrasse bei dieser zur Zeit herrschenden gĺeißenden Sonneneinstrahlung trotz Möglichkeit nicht abgeschattet wird, ist auch eine Frage wert. Die meisten Gäste wären wohl froh darüber gewesen in der heißen Mittagssonne um 13 Uhr. Damit ist der Oxstedter Hof von unserer Gastro-Liste im Cuxland gestrichen.

Heute sind wir sehr herzlich durch den Restaurantbesitzer empfangen worden. Der Service ist ausgesprochen aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hervorragend. Sehr kinderfreundlich und absolut empfehlenswert! Toller Service, mega gutes Spargelessen, wir kommen wieder

Wir sind zum ersten Mal hingegangen, um das „Spargelbuffet“ zum Mittagessen auszuprobieren, und wir waren äußerst positiv überrascht! Wir waren 3 Erwachsene mit einem Kleinkind und haben vorsichtshalber telefonisch reserviert, um sicher einen Tisch zu bekommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich – sowohl am Telefon als auch bei unserer Ankunft – und kommt während des Essens regelmäßig vorbei, um zu fragen, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Das Essen war köstlich, alles wird vor Ort zubereitet und schmeckt wirklich authentisch and lecker. Die Auswahl am Buffet war nicht riesig, aber die Qualität war hervorragend! Und wenn Ihr Kind keinen Spargel mag, kein Problem: Es gibt auch andere leckere Dinge wie Kartoffeln, Schnitzel usw. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können dieses Restaurant zu 100 % weiterempfehlen!

Nachdem Google geholfen hat, euch zu finden auf dem Weg von Cuxhaven zurück Richtung HH, können wir sagen.. FANTASTISCH, GRANDIOS.. WOW.. wir sind begeistert, sind absolut herzlich begrüßt worden, der Service Spitzenklasse!! Das Essen war mega, das Fleisch zart und geschmacklich absolut top, Gemüse, Soße und Bratkartoffeln, ein Genuss.. Der Apfelstrudel zum Nachtisch vorzüglich und selbst der Espresso, super.. Wir werden bestimmt nochmal wieder kommen, auch wenn es für uns ein weiter Weg zu euch ist.. der sich aber absolut lohnt.. Vielen Dank für diesen Service, den man heute nur noch selten hat! Rundum würde ich 10 Sterne geben, wenn ich könnte********** Danke ❤️

Sehr tolles und gemütliches Restaurant. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Der Service ist auch Klasse und Aufmerksam. Es gibt sogar einen Tisch, wo man mit dem Rollstuhl direkt drunter fahren kann. Wir sind begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.

Silvesterabend: Menü-Essen war gut, Abfolge der einzelnen Speisen war viel zu schnell. Ich hatte den Teller nicht mal leer wurde bereits abgeräumt und der Kellner servierte den nächsten Gang. Fand ich sehr schade, dass man nicht in Ruhe essen konnte. Alle waren freundlich.

Ein netter Gasthof in einem kleinen Ort mit einer tollen Essens-Auswahl auf der Speisekarte. Alles dabei, von Burger, Schnitzel, Salat, Suppe, Fisch, vegetarisch, Eis, etc....dazu sehr freundliches Personal. Ich war zum ersten Mal da, und das wird nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein.

Wir hatten eine schöne Weihnachtsfeier mit leckerem Essen und aufmerksamen Service. Bis zun nächsten Mal.🥂

Wir sind extra aus Frankfurt zum Grünkohlessen gekommen und es hat sich gelohnt! Sehr guter Grünkohl mit echter Pinkel und eine ordentliche Portion. Der Kellner war sehr nett und hat auch ein bisschen geschnackt. Sie überlegen gerade ihr Bierangebot umzustellen, ich empfehle das dunkle Cuxhavener "Havenarbeiter" und bin sowieso ein Freund lokaler Biere egal wo ich bin. Das Restaurant ist definitv zu empfehlen, bestimmt auch außerhalb der Grünkohlzeit.

Consistently excellent, friendly service, delicious food, and a kitchen that caters to every wish. We even had mussels prepared "ourselves" – no problem for the kitchen staff. We always enjoy coming back.

From the lovely ambiance to the excellent service, we ate there three times during our vacation and were very satisfied each time. The starters and fish dishes were just as good as the vegetarian dishes. Highly recommended.

A very, very beautiful property, one would almost say. With plenty of space and freedom for guests. The service was simply excellent from start to finish, and we received a warm welcome. The menu, including additional dishes, was explained in more detail, as was the wine list. Our food arrived relatively quickly and tasted excellent. All in all, definitely worth another visit and highly recommended. 5* from us.

Great place! We stumbled upon the Oxstedter Hof last summer. The terrace is beautiful. Today we tried it for the first time with our baby. The appetizers were delicious, but unfortunately, we had to rush home because our little one was getting very restless. Our request to pack our main courses was easily accommodated and done quickly. Everything tasted great at home, too. Service and friendliness are still very important here.

Super delicious food 😋 We happened upon this "little gem" by chance and immediately stopped to have a bite. It was the best decision for us. We enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger with super crispy fries, pork fillet with mushrooms in a creamy sauce, fried potatoes, green beans, and bacon, and finally, a pollock fillet. We highly recommend this place. Not to mention the fast and cheerful service. Thank you so much❣️

We went there on vacation and immediately fell in love – the food was truly 'fantastic,' as my dad always said. The portions were definitely filling, there was plenty of choice, and everything was very fresh. The service was very friendly and always prompt, and you really felt at home. I don't know exactly when we'll be back, but this definitely won't be the last time we eat there. Highly recommended!

We dropped in spontaneously and received a very warm welcome. The menu selection was excellent. Among other things, they offered spare ribs as an alternative to the regular menu. It was a great portion and quite reasonably priced. The service was also excellent. I highly recommend it.

Although a large wedding party kept the staff and kitchen busy that evening, we were seated quietly in an adjoining room, with excellent service. Food as always good, good value for money, menu not exaggerated

A very nice guesthouse in the countryside. A nice meeting place for cyclists, hikers and bikers to take a break. Unfortunately, we probably got the wrong end of the asparagus hole. The Sprgel was far too thick and not the first choice. The schnitzels could have had meat and less breading. But that's about it for the negative. Kudos to the chef, everything tasted very tasty 😋. Maybe the price could be corrected a bit🧐

Perfect fish buffet on Good Friday Although both rooms were fully occupied, the service ran smoothly and was very friendly. Very tasty fish, very good side dishes, great dessert. Both rooms stylish and cozy. Everything perfect!

Eigentlich wollten wir nur kurz einen Stop einlegen auf einer Radtour. Aber der nette Biergarten lud ein für etwas mehr als nur einen Kaffee. Und so zogen wir das Abendessen etwas vor. Dies war eine gute Idee. Das Essen gut und auch das Bier schmackhaft. Die Kinder wollten auf einmal eine Bratwurst… was weder für das Servicepersonal noch Küche ein Problem darstellte und sehr schnell umgesetzt wurde. Personal super freundlich und auch der Chef machte eine Kontrollrunde. Lohnt sich!

I came across the Oxstedter Hof by chance because I couldn't get a seat in the restaurant that was supposed to be there. But sometimes you are lucky in misfortune. The food was one of the best I've ever eaten. The roulade was to die for, so tender. Even the side dishes, be it the potatoes or the red cabbage, are simply excellent. The dark country beer recommended by the boss was a perfect fit and I really enjoyed it. The service before was excellent and more than friendly and attentive. Thank you for the great end to a beautiful day on the North Sea.

We were happy to visit the restaurant because of the good reviews. When I came into the dining room there were four people sitting at the counter smoking. There was an ashtray on every table and that's what it smelled like. We are both smokers but still found it very unpleasant. We then drove back without eating anything.

What can you say... It's just beautiful... We were there this evening at 6:30 p.m. We had the beef oulade from the seasonal menu as our main course and what can you say... it was simply perfect. A light crust and tender meat. Together with potatoes and red cabbage, it's a really delicious winter meal. For dessert we had the blueberry pancakes with orange sauce and here too I have to say... A must-eat dessert. As soon as you take a bite, you immediately think of snow, winter and Christmas. All in all, I can recommend it to everyone. Price/performance/quality is 100% right here. We are already looking forward to the next time.

We were there for the first time with 3 people shortly before New Year's Eve. Although it was quite busy, the waiting time was absolutely fine at 25 minutes. We had kale, schnitzel and roulade. All 2 dishes were prepared to perfection and very tasty. We'll definitely be back! 👍

Stylish restsurant with a rustic ambience. We were there on a Sunday and had made a reservation by phone. The outside area of ​​the restaurant is beautifully walled with an open stone facade. There are benches and tables on the terrace area. The interior area has a counter and then seating. Everything kept in a rustic style. The food and service are excellent. We always had schnitzel in different variations and side dishes. With 5 people we paid €108 for food and drinks. Overall, highly recommended.

We went to the breakfast buffet at Oxstedter Hof today. There is enough parking space and the restaurant looks very cozy from the outside. Once inside it is very cozy and invites you to linger. The breakfast was plentiful, there was something for every taste. The dining room wasn't overcrowded because there weren't too many tables and you didn't have the feeling of sitting in a "full" restaurant. The volume was also pleasant. The service was unobtrusive and yet always present. No coffee pot remained empty and the empty plates were cleared away almost immediately, so we always had enough room for more treats. The cold cuts were super tasty and the rolls were bakery products. Scrambled eggs, bacon, grilled sausage and even fried potatoes. Care was always taken to ensure that everything was refilled and nothing ran empty. And let's talk about the toilets. 😁 People always only write about food The toilets were really very clean and there were hygiene products in the women's toilets. Everything was modern and clean. The price was absolutely justified. In any case, we wouldn't need lunch anymore. We'd love to come back.

The restaurant is cozy and not too huge. The employees are very attentive and courteous. The food is a 10 out of 10. We felt very comfortable and unfortunately had to forego dessert because there was simply no space left after we had optimistically ordered a starter before the main course. We'll probably have to come back again ;-) Absolute recommendation

We were looking for a cozy country inn for our dinner after a day of hiking. We were warmly welcomed, very well looked after, the menu wasn't too big or too small, the food was super tasty... One star deducted because it was a bit loud at times - but OK. If we're here again, we'll definitely come back.

We are always there when we take a trip to Dorum Neufeld. The food is of consistently good quality, the service is fast and professional, and very friendly. Unfortunately, the onion roast is not on the menu at the moment, and with a bit of luck it will only be temporary for us. We will definitely come back and give a clear recommendation. Best regards

We ate here a total of 4 times during our holiday on the North Sea. No matter what dish you ordered, it was always a pleasure. The service was also excellent. The next time we are in the Cuxhaven area, a visit will be at the top of our to-do list.

We were there to make a reservation for the family for the 3 course menu on Christmas Day, The staff was very friendly despite working full time in the restaurant and made a note of our reservation, unfortunately the boss didn't have time as he was also a chef and had a lot to do, but he will get in touch with us over the next week, the impression is very nice and is recommended as a restaurant.
