Great place! We stumbled upon the Oxstedter Hof last summer. The terrace is beautiful. Today we tried it for the first time with our baby. The appetizers were delicious, but unfortunately, we had to rush home because our little one was getting very restless. Our request to pack our main courses was easily accommodated and done quickly. Everything tasted great at home, too. Service and friendliness are still very important here.

Super delicious food 😋 We happened upon this "little gem" by chance and immediately stopped to have a bite. It was the best decision for us. We enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger with super crispy fries, pork fillet with mushrooms in a creamy sauce, fried potatoes, green beans, and bacon, and finally, a pollock fillet. We highly recommend this place. Not to mention the fast and cheerful service. Thank you so much❣️

We went there on vacation and immediately fell in love – the food was truly 'fantastic,' as my dad always said. The portions were definitely filling, there was plenty of choice, and everything was very fresh. The service was very friendly and always prompt, and you really felt at home. I don't know exactly when we'll be back, but this definitely won't be the last time we eat there. Highly recommended!

A very nice guesthouse in the countryside. A nice meeting place for cyclists, hikers and bikers to take a break. Unfortunately, we probably got the wrong end of the asparagus hole. The Sprgel was far too thick and not the first choice. The schnitzels could have had meat and less breading. But that's about it for the negative. Kudos to the chef, everything tasted very tasty 😋. Maybe the price could be corrected a bit🧐

Eigentlich wollten wir nur kurz einen Stop einlegen auf einer Radtour. Aber der nette Biergarten lud ein für etwas mehr als nur einen Kaffee. Und so zogen wir das Abendessen etwas vor. Dies war eine gute Idee. Das Essen gut und auch das Bier schmackhaft. Die Kinder wollten auf einmal eine Bratwurst… was weder für das Servicepersonal noch Küche ein Problem darstellte und sehr schnell umgesetzt wurde. Personal super freundlich und auch der Chef machte eine Kontrollrunde. Lohnt sich!

I came across the Oxstedter Hof by chance because I couldn't get a seat in the restaurant that was supposed to be there. But sometimes you are lucky in misfortune. The food was one of the best I've ever eaten. The roulade was to die for, so tender. Even the side dishes, be it the potatoes or the red cabbage, are simply excellent. The dark country beer recommended by the boss was a perfect fit and I really enjoyed it. The service before was excellent and more than friendly and attentive. Thank you for the great end to a beautiful day on the North Sea.

Had a very good meal there this evening. Comfortably furnished, nice staff. Found the place while searching online.

We were happy to visit the restaurant because of the good reviews. When I came into the dining room there were four people sitting at the counter smoking. There was an ashtray on every table and that's what it smelled like. We are both smokers but still found it very unpleasant. We then drove back without eating anything.

What can you say... It's just beautiful... We were there this evening at 6:30 p.m. We had the beef oulade from the seasonal menu as our main course and what can you say... it was simply perfect. A light crust and tender meat. Together with potatoes and red cabbage, it's a really delicious winter meal. For dessert we had the blueberry pancakes with orange sauce and here too I have to say... A must-eat dessert. As soon as you take a bite, you immediately think of snow, winter and Christmas. All in all, I can recommend it to everyone. Price/performance/quality is 100% right here. We are already looking forward to the next time.

We were there for the first time with 3 people shortly before New Year's Eve. Although it was quite busy, the waiting time was absolutely fine at 25 minutes. We had kale, schnitzel and roulade. All 2 dishes were prepared to perfection and very tasty. We'll definitely be back! 👍

Stylish restsurant with a rustic ambience. We were there on a Sunday and had made a reservation by phone. The outside area of ​​the restaurant is beautifully walled with an open stone facade. There are benches and tables on the terrace area. The interior area has a counter and then seating. Everything kept in a rustic style. The food and service are excellent. We always had schnitzel in different variations and side dishes. With 5 people we paid €108 for food and drinks. Overall, highly recommended.

We went to the breakfast buffet at Oxstedter Hof today. There is enough parking space and the restaurant looks very cozy from the outside. Once inside it is very cozy and invites you to linger. The breakfast was plentiful, there was something for every taste. The dining room wasn't overcrowded because there weren't too many tables and you didn't have the feeling of sitting in a "full" restaurant. The volume was also pleasant. The service was unobtrusive and yet always present. No coffee pot remained empty and the empty plates were cleared away almost immediately, so we always had enough room for more treats. The cold cuts were super tasty and the rolls were bakery products. Scrambled eggs, bacon, grilled sausage and even fried potatoes. Care was always taken to ensure that everything was refilled and nothing ran empty. And let's talk about the toilets. 😁 People always only write about food The toilets were really very clean and there were hygiene products in the women's toilets. Everything was modern and clean. The price was absolutely justified. In any case, we wouldn't need lunch anymore. We'd love to come back.

The restaurant is cozy and not too huge. The employees are very attentive and courteous. The food is a 10 out of 10. We felt very comfortable and unfortunately had to forego dessert because there was simply no space left after we had optimistically ordered a starter before the main course. We were looking for a cozy country inn for our dinner after a day of hiking. We were warmly welcomed, very well looked after, the menu wasn't too big or too small, the food was super tasty... One star deducted because it was a bit loud at times - but OK. If we're here again, we'll definitely come back.

We were there to make a reservation for the family for the 3 course menu on Christmas Day, The staff was very friendly despite working full time in the restaurant and made a note of our reservation, unfortunately the boss didn't have time as he was also a chef and had a lot to do, but he will get in touch with us over the next week, the impression is very nice and is recommended as a restaurant.

We were finally here again today. The new beer garden is really awesome! Everything well thought out and very comfortable! The meal included Argentinian rump steak with freshly fried chanterelles and fried potatoes. So simple, but just a poem! The meat was super tender and, like everything else, fried to perfection!!! The boss has been cooking himself for a few weeks now and the food has gotten even better. Pork loin with chanterelles, juicy meat and delicious sauce. As always, the service is very friendly and attentive. The tastefully bordered and weather-protected beer garden really invites you to linger. Keep it up Andre.

Had a very good meal there today, I thought the fried potatoes were great. The service staff was very attentive and polite, even the boss asked how we were doing. It's best to call in advance, the three of us with dogs were lucky and there was a lot of reservation. The restaurant also seems to be popular with locals. The parking lot is large enough and when the weather is nice you can also sit outside. We will definitely come back again.

From setting up the location, to the outstanding food (almost no convenience products; good home cooking), to the excellent service, to dismantling, no wish was left unconsidered. On June 25th, 2024 we celebrated the wedding of our son and daughter-in-law there. The dishes overall were finely prepared and very tastefully coordinated. From the extremely successful wedding soup to the currywurst at midnight, everything was lovingly served by the ever-present, attentive staff. The Oxststeter Hof is recommended as a destination for cyclists and other hikers, as well as for eating mussels or the Christmas goose in winter. Everything was great, again and again.

We were there two evenings. The service was very friendly and very attentive. Super great food. Also great with children. Our child liked the homemade nuggets and rice best. We had the hot burger, the asparagus with scrambled eggs and the turkey steak with rice. Everything was super tasty. We'd love to come back.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Oxstedter Hof und waren sehr zufrieden. Eine gute Speisekarte wo die Auswahl nicht einfach ist. Das Ambiente mit Essen im Saal mit einer Bühne ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Essen war sehr gut mit einem kleinen Gruß aus der Küche vorab. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und der Chef hat an jedem Tisch gefragt, ob auch alles in Ordnubg ist. Wir kommen wieder, und das auch öfter. Der Weg lohnt sich. :-)

Wir waren mit Freunden für einen gemütlichen Abend dort. Das Essen war wirklich top und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auch super. Einzig die Ausstattung (Stühle, Tische) könnten etwas gemütlicher gestaltet werden. Gerade wenn man doch etwas länger verweilt. Wir werden aber auf jeden Fall wieder vorbeischauen.

Das Essen war bei allen wirklich sehr gut und absolut empfehlenswert. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr guter Service. Leider hat man durch den großen Saal ein wenig Kantinenfeeling. Eine Anmerkung muss ich leider machen - Liebes Oxstedter Hof Team, ihr MÜSST euch mit den Muschelgericht etwas einfallen lassen. Es mag ganz bestimmt sehr gut schmecken ( wurde bei unserem Besuch 2 x bestellt ) aber der Geruch dieser Speise ist dermaßen unangenehm und war - zumindest für uns 4 Personen - wirklich sehr sehr störend und penetrant. Aber trotzdem war der Besuch eine runde Sache 👍🙂

Also ich komme aus Gummersbach jedes Jahr hier in den Norden und der Oxstedter Hof wurde mir empfohlen von einem Bekannten. Ich kann nur sagen das diese Empfehlung noch untertrieben war.....man muß sich dort wohlfühlen der Gastwirt ist ein sehr netter Mensch und so wie ich es kennengelernt habe seine Mitarbeiter auch, hervor zu heben die Küche 1a . Ich werde mich wieder einfinden sobald ich wieder im Norden bin

Sehr gutes, schmackhaftes Essen. Freundliche Bedienung und super netter Inhaber, immer sehr zuvorkommend. Haben noch nie Beanstandungen gehabt. In jedem Urlaub gibt es für uns nur den Oxstedter Hof. Absolut Spitze. Könnte man mehr Sterne geben, kämen noch einige dazu.

Dort ist sehr schön und lecker. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und kümmern sich um ihre Gäste. Die Atmosphäre ist bombastisch.
