Zur Tankstelle in Cuxhaven

It's a shame this place no longer exists. Visited once and now retired.

We came all the way from Frankfurt for the kale dinner, and it was well worth it! The kale was excellent, served with real Pinkel sausage, and the portion was generous. The waiter was very friendly and chatted with us. They're currently considering changing their beer selection; I recommend the dark Cuxhaven "Havenarbeiter" beer, and I'm a fan of local beers wherever I am. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, even outside of kale season.

Delicious food, friendly staff, very generous portions. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. It all comes at a price, of course, but you definitely get plenty on your plate. I'll gladly come again.

A fantastic location with a stunning sea view. The decor is authentic and the staff was friendly. The food and drink selection was really good. I'd never had potato waffles before. They were a real highlight. A few shops down, the souvenir stand also sells lovely chocolate coins, and the restaurant is a great place to combine a visit with a hike through the Wernerwald forest or windsurfing.

We had a fish platter, it was very good. Good value for money. It seems to be a family business, and you can tell.
