I really enjoyed the herring fillet and the patty. Unfortunately, the crab sandwich didn't seem quite as fresh, and the garlic sauce wasn't the best choice for my taste; a classic remoulade would have been better. Overall, the location was very pleasant, the staff friendly, and the prices fair. I was just disappointed that the opening hours weren't listed. When I asked, I was told that it's open every day and that it's usually open from about 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., depending on the weather.

Delicious and freshly prepared fish sandwiches right behind the dike. Prices are perfectly reasonable. And, above all, the people there are very friendly. 😊 Highly recommended!

For €8.50, I expect more. 😡 The fried fish is heavy and industrially produced, and the potato salad comes from a bucket that's been diluted with water.

Right behind the dike, you can find truly delicious fish sandwiches here. The herring sandwich is topped with a whole herring (2 halves). The fried rollmops is also quite thick. The herring was quite mild. You can also order it without onions, and then you'll get a dollop of remoulade on top (if desired). The sandwiches are baked fresh regularly, crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. Perfect!

After eating herring here, I know that the one from the North Sea was not good. Next time I'll order a whole one and not just try it. The fried fish was juicy and not dripping with oil. Excellent. The trip here from the other restaurant was worth it.

We were guided by the top reviews and were very disappointed. Frozen baked fish with store-bought remoulade from the bottle just tastes industrial. Unfortunately a total failure. ☹️

Wir fahren jedes Jahr nach Cuxhaven und kaufen unsere Fischbrötchen hier ein. Preislich noch in einer angenehmen Klasse und sehr lecker.

Hatte mich schon die ganze Fahrt von OWL hoch nach Cuxhaven auf das erste Fischbrötchen gefreut! Und nachdem ich das rad vom Heckträger genommen hatte und die ersten Kilometer gestrampelt habe, gab es dann hier das "Frühstück". Freundliche Bedienung, leckerer Fisch und normale Preise. Hat mir in der Sonne richtig gut geschmeckt!

Der Ort am Hafen lud uns zum Essen ein. Jedoch hatte es eher einen Charakter einer "einfachen Pommesbude" als frischen Fisch vom Hafen zu bekommen. Bedienung hat mit ihrer Freundlichkeit das beste daraus gemacht. Geschmacklich war es eher nicht besonders. Schade, aber wir werden nicht nochmal dort essen.

Die Bedienung war freundlich und flott. Das Krabbenbrötchen kostete 7€, schmeckte gut, wahlweise mit Remoulade oder Aioli und war gut belegt. Der Backfisch ist leider faserig und trocken gebraten gewesen, die Panade strotze vor Frittierfett. Schade. Es gab zwei kleinere Tische mit je zwei Sitzbänken neben dem Imbisswagen am Parkplatz.

Beste Fischbrötchen in der Gegend. Ich war sehr begeistert. Auch wenn mal mehr los ist wird jeder in Ruhe bedient. Das Brötchen knackig, der Fisch lecker.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, unsere Brötchen wurden frisch zubereitet und wir können geschmacklich nur schwärmen. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat hier absolut überzeugt. Die Preise sind Durchschnittliche Preise wie bei viele anderen Anbietern inzwischen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider war der Matjes wirklich nicht gut, glitschig und vom Geschmack nicht gut. Der Backfisch war geschmacklich zwar okay, triefte dafür aber vor Fett. Nicht empfehlenswert.
