The first impression was good, nice atmosphere, and the tapas served as a welcome from the house were also very tasty. Unfortunately, the pork fillet with mushroom cream sauce that we ordered was a very tough piece of pork loin and in no way a piece of fillet; The whole thing was served with a sauce from the bag and canned mushrooms.

It's a shame this place no longer exists. Visited once and now retired

Veal liver tasted delicious during the visit. Just 2 days later I suffered from food poisoning, which the doctors said was caused by the liver. 3 days of antibiotics were over.

We always enjoy this location. Accessibility thanks to the elevator to the restaurant, very friendly service, very attentive and always a smile for the guest. Food is super tasty, generous portions. We were on holiday in Cuxhaven for two weeks and the Beach House was practically around the corner. The prices are a bit more expensive, but with this view and the location it's completely okay. In terms of taste, we weren't disappointed once in our 5 visits. No matter whether it was fish, burgers, bowls, schnitzels etc. it was always good. Personally, I thought the chicken burger was absolutely delicious! The service was always friendly and damn attentive. There was also a high chair for our offspring. The bistro next door is perfect for a “quick” snack or coffee to take away.

How do 4.5 stars come about?! Curious. We would have preferred to read the recent reviews. We fall in line. It doesn't live up to what Google promises. The food was neither authentic nor good, at best “sufficient”. What was also strange was that two of the same “hot plates” were seasoned quite differently. The fluffy rolls and wontons weren't homemade either. We also had the curry that was too sweet… more sugar than curry. We don't want to talk about the amounts of glutamate and baking soda that were used to soften the meat.

Simply great ambience, top service and the food was great! I had a rump steak medium only with salad and herb butter (actually it comes with fries or fried potatoes) but unfortunately I can't manage it.

Everything was very nice, nice place, friendly service, I'd love to come back!!

A welcome change in the midst of the fish restaurants (which have been around for a bit too long). The expanded bistro menu has many vegetarian and vegan options, and the service is quick and friendly. Espresso at top temperature!
