Today there was a buffet again, the only thing that was warm was the soup, everything else was too cold. No shrimp, limp squid. Not again now.

We were here eight years ago and now we're back in Cuxhaven, so we had to eat here again. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy, the service extremely friendly and attentive, and the food (we ate here twice) sooooo delicious. The menu is small but very fine, and there's even a vegan dish on it, which we really enjoyed. When we want a nice evening, this is always the right place for us. Foodies simply have to stop by. Enjoy!

I wanted to have a coffee at a café, but since I didn't have a reservation, I was not exactly politely turned away.

Holidays in comfortable rooms with a sea view, dogs are very welcome - it couldn't be better! The very warm team ensures a feel-good atmosphere at breakfast and dinner and also takes care of the guests' wishes very nicely and efficiently. The location of the hotel directly on the promenade and within walking distance of other restaurants is perfect. We'd love to come back.

Since the change of operator/ownership, I've been here several times and can recommend it without reservation. I ate the salmon fillet and the Kaiserschmarrn a few times. Everything tasted really good. Yesterday I ordered "penne with wok-fried vegetables and roasted chicken breast." I had seen it pass me by a few days before and was eager to try it. I really enjoyed it. And even though it was really busy, I received very friendly service.

This was my first time visiting "Gleis4." The restaurant makes a very tidy impression. A few benches could use new leather upholstery, but otherwise it's a cozy place with very clean restrooms. 5/5 The server was friendly, but she probably wasn't having her best day. She could have been more friendly. Therefore, only 4/5 for this. I ordered a special kofte burger. The meat was super delicious and perfectly flavored. It came with fries, which were supposed to be "extra crispy" according to the menu, but unfortunately, this wasn't the case. A few more minutes in the fryer would have definitely been worth it. Since mayonnaise for the fries was only available as an extra, only 4/5. But most importantly, the food was delicious, well prepared, and the price was a positive surprise. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.

The pollock sandwich had been sitting in the display for a while. Very bad. If the quality of the other dishes is as good, then they should close. We won't be coming back. There are other places.
