Hertzhaft in Cuxhaven

Your gyro is really delicious, no question. But the burgers were a complete disappointment. The organic beef patty was dry, barely seasoned, and the sauce was almost nonexistent – ​​simply not justified for the price. What annoys me even more: Several times, by 6 p.m., there was hardly anything left on the menu. We were told that some guests order two days in advance – honestly, completely incomprehensible. If you present yourself as a grill restaurant, you should be able to offer a reasonable selection in the evening as well. I want to go out for a spontaneous meal without having to plan two days in advance. On top of that, we had to wait over an hour and a half for our food. That's definitely too long. Overall, very disappointing – you can't call yourself a restaurant if you have so little choice and such long wait times. We've never had to wait so long in any restaurant before... It's a shame, because the potential is there.

We had a gyro, a hamburger, a schnitzel, and the pulled pork burger from the special. The fries didn't quite live up to the potato. They were just bits and pieces, and they were completely hard. The schnitzel was okay. The gyro was also quite dry, and the burgers were barely edible. For the prices they charge, I expect better quality. There was hardly any sauce on the burger, so it was also quite dry. We didn't complain on site, as the food was takeout.

Wow, simply delicious. High-quality food. We haven't eaten this good in a long time. We had paprika schnitzel (the sauce is homemade!!!) with fries and "Fluppies" with fries. None of it was pre-prepared meat, but real meat. We can't stop raving about it, and this won't be the last time we're here. Service was very nice and friendly. :-)

We ordered from Hertzhaft for the first time for our son's school entrance ceremony, and what can I say? From the initial contact to the food selection and the meal itself, everything was fantastic and incredibly friendly. The food was so delicious, juicy, and plentiful that we even had enough to feed our family the next day. We will definitely order from Hertzhaft in Groden again for our next celebration and can highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was okay. Considering that gyros make up a large portion of the menu, it was a shame there were no gyros. The food itself was okay—not super good, but not bad either. The service was also okay; doing everything (kitchen, cash register, guest service) all by yourself is perhaps too much.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. When we ordered on-site, the snack bar was barely busy. Nevertheless, we were given a 30-minute wait, which was perfectly fine for us. However, when we returned after the time had elapsed, the employee (the chef) told us in an unfriendly and rude manner: "The time isn't up yet." Only then did they begin preparing our food. The food was also disappointing in terms of taste. The fries were completely unseasoned, and the burger, on the other hand, was extremely oversalted. The schnitzel was okay, but nothing special. I used to enjoy ordering from the Grodener Grill, but unfortunately, I would now strongly advise against ordering anything "savory."

“Imbiss” doesn’t do the Grodener Grill justice. There is a passionate chef at work here who knows his craft and is gradually converting everything to homemade and regional. The varied weekly offers and the new burgers are particularly great! In addition, the portions are large and the ambience after the renovation is really great!

Here's the best veggie burger I've ever had! Portions are sufficient, the food is fresh and tasty and it comes quickly. Service was also nice, just a bit planned somehow. But I would go back at any time.

The ambience corresponded to a well-equipped snack bar. In my opinion, the food was average and the portions were quite generous. Presumably due to the day of the week (Friday) or the end of the month, some of the dishes on offer were no longer in stock.

Book a table in advance at the funny guy snack bar. I haven't rated anything here with 5 stars, no idea where you got that from. "A grill restaurant where we value high-quality food that is homemade and fresh." You serve burgers and fries exactly the same stuff as before 2019 and I don't have to book a table for that. Very easy.

There is still real cooking here, although it has more of a high-end snack character. Service very friendly and food great. Price also very good.

The food in this chip shop is delicious 👍. The owner (tenant) can't do anything about the ambience 💁‍♂️. But the prices have to come down 🤔. In my opinion...too expensive 😔.

Was there for lunch with my brother. Both had pulled pork burgers with fries. Very tasty and beautifully prepared. The ambience/furnishings are also very tastefully designed. We will be back definitely. Thanks to the nice and friendly owner for a great meal.

Wanted to try the wild burger I saw online. Even though the advertising sign for the burger in question was there, it was no longer available. Because I didn't want to leave, I decided to go for a currywurst fries! It was ok, so according to the standard. Nothing special.... curry ketchup up and off we go on the wild ride 😅 You could make your own sauce...!!! Too expensive for 9 euros! Use of goods: 1.20 euros sausage 0.30 euros fries 0.20 euros ketchup 0.20 euros mayo 0.30 euros Fanta 2.20 euros in total I paid 13 euros! If I had time, I would teach them a really cool currywurst sauce 💪 Service, very nice, although there was a lot of internal discussion between the cook and the service staff 🤔 I actually don't want to know who doesn't want to work and prefers to get sick 🤣

Very nice and relaxed staff. Burgers good. Had a chilli burger with extra bacon and fries. Large portion of delicious crispy fries. Burger could have been spicier. I should let you know next time, then it will be hotter (okay. I'll do it). Ambiance is bistro or very good snack bar. Personally, I'm still missing something about the restaurant. Drinks cheap. Will definitely come back.

We wanted to go for gyros today, when we got there we were told we had to wait another hour. I hope the shop will be gone soon, it's closed on Saturday and Sunday anyway. So we need a grill for earlier.

I had pre-ordered currywurst with fries to take away. Everything worked out great and was very tasty. The staff was really nice.

We ate there for the first time today and I have to say it's definitely worth a visit! 😊 very friendly service and fantastic food. The quantities were plentiful and the gyro burger was highly recommended, and the currywurst was also tasty. We'd love to come back.

Had a cheeseburger outside the house yesterday. When I found out that the burger cost almost €10, it almost stuck in my throat. It was a brioche bun (sweet) and the minced meat is not or barely seasoned. I never save money on food, but the price/performance ratio here is absolutely not right. Everyone's tastes are different, but something doesn't fit together. €5.50 would have been enough. Since I wasn't in the store myself, I can't rate the ambience and service. A pity!

We wanted to eat gyros for the third time! The first time we wanted to order to be picked up, it was 6:30 p.m. and the spit wasn't on yet! The second time it was supposed to be off at 6 p.m. and today it was just plugged in at 6 p.m. It took at least half an hour! When I open at 5 p.m. I wonder why you can't get gyros at 6 p.m. even though there are 5 gyro dishes on the menu alone! For me it's no service to the guest, I'm sorry, but we won't try again! Currywurst was okay, but I could have eaten it anywhere else!

A lot has changed after the change of ownership in August 2019. Homemade sauces, fresh dishes and a modern atmosphere. After the renovation in January 2020, you would finally like to sit in the cozy rooms. A great grill restaurant with weekly changing, creative offers that you can check out in advance on social media. Children and dogs are also very welcome - a shop that is run with heart! ❤️

Wir haben Hertzhaft mit dem Catering für eine kleine Gartenparty beauftragt. Die Planung und Koordination lief hervorragend. Es wurde an alles gedacht. Die Burger waren handfertig verpackt, Schälchen und Picker für die Pommes, abgefüllte Saucen und Warmhalteboxen damit alles schön frisch ist wenn die Gäste essen. Die Gäste waren begeistert und ich hätte lieber noch 20% mehr bestellen sollen weil es den Gästen so sehr geschmeckt hat. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles.

Wir haben vorhin bei Jan zwei Bacon-Cheeseburger mit Pommes geholt. Die sind hammer-lecker 🤤 Die Umstellung auf die Bio-Paddies ist ein richtig tolle Idee gewesen und im Vergleich zu diversen Burgerketten absolut preiswert 👍 Noch dazu sind Jan und seine Kollegin immer nett und freundlich ☺️

Die neuen Betreiber haben wirklich etwas tolles gemacht. Das Essen mega und die Portionen reichlich. Wer hier hungrig weggeht, sollte etwas falsch gemacht haben. Die Wochenempfehlung mag ich gerne - da kann man sich langsam durch die Karte probieren. Macht weiter so! Ich komme immer wieder ❤️

Wir haben kurz nach der Wiedereröffnung den Cateringservice genutzt. Wir bekamen vom Chef kurzfristig drei Vorschläge, und suchten uns das Passende für uns aus. Wir hätten auch selbst noch Änderungen vornehmen können, was aber nicht notwendig war. Es wurde (fast) pünktlich geliefert. Auch Besteck und Teller waren dabei. Alles frisch gekocht für 13 Personen. Das Essen kam super bei den Gästen und bei uns an und war seinen Preis wert. Sollten wir wieder einen Cateringservice benötigen, melden wir uns auf jeden Fall. Jan und seine Frau sind sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Das hat hat man nicht überall. 5 Sterne!!!

Nach dem Umbau sieht es toll aus Chef und Angestellte sind ein eingespieltes Team und das Essen war Super weiter so👏👍

Zur lange herbeigesehnten Eröffnung war ich natürlich da um einen Eindruck des komplett neu gestalteten Innenbereichs zu bekommen. Hier hat sich wirklich EINIGES getan! Man merkt, dass euch ‚Hertzhaft‘ am Her(t)zen liegt und ihr euch mehr als nur Mühe gebt! Echt toll! Ich habe natürlich auch etwas gegessen, hier wurde nicht nur die frühere Qualität gehalten sondern auch noch übertroffen. Der Pulled Pork Burger mit den Pommes waren wirklich sehr lecker. Jetzt möchte ich aber auch noch den Rest der Karte probieren. Auch der Service könnte kaum besser sein :) Wir kommen weiterhin sehr gerne! Danke

Leckeres essen , tolles Personal und super Ambiente. Selbst an die kleinsten wurde gedacht egal ob ein Hochstuhl oder ein Spielewagen.

Tolle Atmosphäre. Alle Beteiligten mit viel „Hertzblut“ dabei. Was am Ende dabei rauskommt, kann sich sehen…äh… sehr gut essen lassen. Beste Produkte, kein billiges Zeug zusammen gekauft. Das schmeckt der Gast raus. Das Catering steht dem in nichts nach. Absolut empfehlenswert. Fünf von fünf ⭐️

Gerade Essen bestellen wollen, total UNFREUNDLICH gemeldet, dann beim aufgeben der Bestellung gesagt bekommen das Gyros alle ist, was passieren kann aber dann zu Sagen das man sich beeilen soll mit dem Bestellen da die Dame genug zu tun hat, obwohl man sich erstmal Umorientieren muss. Traurig. Geht garnicht. Wenn man mein Geld nicht haben möchte, gehen wir woanders hin. Wären ca.50,- € + gewesen. ☹️☹️☹️☹️

Oh wie sehr gut war das essen denn so weiche Leber super zazicki klasse pommes suchen ihres gleichen.und der rotwein einfach Qualität nur zu empfehlen

Endlich ein Imbiss wo frisch gekocht wird und zwar auf einem Niveau in dem die meisten gehobenen Restaurants sich eine große Scheibe abschneiden können! Ich glaub in einem sehr weiten Umkreis ist dieser Laden völlig einzigartig, würde hier gerne jeden Tag essen!

Seit einem halben Jahr bin ich öfters mal im Grodener Grill essen gewesen. Der Service fällt sofort auf - dieser ist auf Resuatrantniveau. Man wird trotz den Abholungen von anderen Kunden Kunden vor Ort sofort bedient und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett. Das Essen kommt verhältnismäßig schnell dafür, dass vieles selbstgemacht ist. Es schmeckt wirklich super und ich ziehe es einigen Restaurants vor. Empfehlen kann ich das Jägerschnitzel (bzw. Rahmsoße). Das Ambiente ist für eine Grille echt angenehm und der von Imbissen/Grillen erwartete Fritteusenfett-Geruch bleibt aus. Werde definitiv öfter dort essen. Empfehle ich zu 100% weiter.

Mega leckeres Essen... Sehr nettes Personal inkl Chef. Mit nichts zu vergleichen mit den Vorbesitzerin. Zu 1000% besser. Nur zu empfehlen. Einziges Manko... manchmal bis zu 1,5 Std Wartezeit bei telefonischer Bestellung. Mag dann daran liegen, daß viel los ist. Aber wir wollten da Essen und sollten auch 1,5Std warten. Das geht so nicht. Gäste im Haus haben immer Vorrang lieber Jan. Ansonsten 1000 💥 für den Grodener Grill

Alles auf schnell in der friteuse gemacht, Soßen sind nach dem Geschmack her gestreckt. Dass einfachste Gericht was es eigentlich gibt "Currywurst Pommes" schmeckt einfach nur Pfade

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von der angepriesen Qualität. Spitzenkoch, das ich nicht lache. Hatte mal Curry Pommes bestellt. Pommes hart und Curry Wurst unterirdisch. Naja, dann noch eine Chance Jäger mit Pommes. Die Jägersauce war künstlich und von dem Sternekochkünsten sehr weit entfernt. 5 min vor Feierabend geht man besser auch nicht mehr hin, dann sind die Herrschaften im Gedanken schon zuhause und man wird weggeschickt. Gehe dort sicher nie mehr hin!
