Very good, we ate a breaded steak with fries and a pork shoulder, very delicious and filling.

Great inn, very friendly staff, delicious potato dishes, cozy, bright rooms, and a fantastic breakfast. Very fair prices, including for the rooms, despite being a tourist hotspot. We'll definitely be back.

Own parking space in the rear area with the “old cellar” entrance Which is very advantageous if you are traveling in the city center. Nine euros per day fee. That's really fine. The rooms are quite nice and moderate. The breakfast was very good and the service is excellent. We felt very comfortable.

The location is really perfect and there's nothing wrong with the price either. Unfortunately we had a bathroom without a window which smelled strongly of sewage. In addition, the beds were very uncomfortable and the breakfast was rather modest. The service was okay, unfortunately a few employees couldn't speak German, which made communication difficult. We weren't shown our room either, we had to look for it ourselves. Otherwise the staff was still nice. Unfortunately, the WiFi didn't work at all and unfortunately there was no network or cell phone reception in the hotel, which was a bit annoying.

I recently ate there with my boyfriend. The food was absolutely delicious! Excellent service! I highly recommend it.

Das Lokal gibt es als Spätzle Schwob schon lange nicht mehr. Nur leider ist der frühere Wirt offenbar unfähig, das entsprechend bekannt zu geben. Das Lokal ist jetzt die Goldene Gans!!! und nach dem Umbau wunderschön und einladend geworden. Es ist gemütlich und das Essen mega gut zu moderaten Preisen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich unbedingt!!!

Great food and super service - I'll be back!

We were with a larger group of 10 people, a colleague had no luck with her sauerbraten that day. This really didn't taste like anything, she complained about it. I found the waiter's reaction to be very professional; he served the food himself and confirmed that the dish served did not meet the quality standards of the house and offered to provide a replacement. All in all, a really nice evening and I hope that this will be a one-time blip, the majority of the group were very happy with the dishes.

A tourist restaurant with standard dishes, beautifully prepared and served. The building is historic and very beautiful. Very centrally located on the town square. The service is very friendly and fast. All in all, recommended for tourists.

There is a Japanese menu. It said, but it wasn't available on the day we went. However, there is an English notation below the German notation. The staff were nice, the food was delicious, and the price seemed reasonable for a tourist spot! You can also use credit cards for payment. There is also a restroom, so you don't have to worry about using the restroom while sightseeing. The schnitzel was delicious!

2025 31th Mar. Very close to center square with cozy atmosphere. We had early morning tour and the breakfast box was full of diversity food that was well prepared by the staff.

The ambience was rustic and appropriate. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. The 1st cordon bleu was burnt on the underside. Went back. The second came relatively quickly, but the lemon was missing and the fries tasted like old fat. There were also black spots on the breading again. It is definitely not a flagship of Franconian cuisine.

Cozy outdoor area in the old town, in the afternoon you can enjoy sunshine and a beautiful view when the weather is good. The Hugo and Aperol for €9.90 are quite expensive but almost reasonable given the quantity and ratio. You could actually leave out the many fruits that actually have no place in the drinks. The service was nice and quick, but you shouldn't wear jogging/training pants, I found that inappropriate.
