Great inn, very friendly staff, delicious potato dishes, cozy, bright rooms, and a fantastic breakfast. Very fair prices, including for the rooms, despite being a tourist hotspot. We'll definitely be back.

My family and I celebrated Christmas in Rothenburg and we had our wonderful Christmas feast at the Goldenes Lamm! This was one of the best decisions we ever made because this restaurant was the best in Rothenburg! We have been to this lovely town twice already and our meals at Goldenes Lamm have been the highlight each time. The staff are warm and welcoming, the ambience is on point and the food is absolutely delicious!! I had the steak done medium rare and I still dream of this mouth-watering meal often! The staff speak perfect English and they accommodated every single weird culinary request my family made. Words cannot express how excited I am to return!! Thank you so much for a wonderful Christmas <3

Das Lokal gibt es als Spätzle Schwob schon lange nicht mehr. Nur leider ist der frühere Wirt offenbar unfähig, das entsprechend bekannt zu geben. Das Lokal ist jetzt die Goldene Gans!!! und nach dem Umbau wunderschön und einladend geworden. Es ist gemütlich und das Essen mega gut zu moderaten Preisen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich unbedingt!!!

I stayed here in 2002 and have not forgotten how beautiful the surroundings are, how amazing the service was, and how incredibly clean and comfy the rooms were. This was our first night in Germany and the food was so phenomenal. It was a wonderful welcome to a wonderful country. I hope to someday bring my daughter over to stay here as well!

Wonderful restaurant at the Hotel Rappen. Reservation is recommended, we had to wait a while but we were very kindly accommodated at a nice table. Our waiter was very nice. We had pork with potatoes and an unbelievable pancake served open, with veggies, salami and cheese as a pizza, a genius creation, I loved it!

The food is good value for money. The owner is Italian and you can therefore ask for clarifications in our language. The menu is with the English translation below. €38 for two, we had the sausages with sauerkraut, the schnitzel cutlet with fries, two beers and an espresso coffee. Quick service. Where to eat on your first day in Germany

We were looking for a place to eat a typical bratwurst in a nice location that also tasted delicious. Looking at the average review score (3.3), it didn't seem very appealing, but we finally decided to go there and made the right choice. The food was delicious, including the potatoes with bacon. The only drawback was the prices: a little high, but no more than other establishments in Rothenburg.
