Great location, terrace on the road, so some traffic noise. On the other hand, you can sit outside. Friendly service. One is just fine and coffee 👍

Fantastic location. We had a wonderful evening.

Unfortunately disappointing - during the lunch break we waited 45 minutes (!) for two simple pasta dishes. There was no explanation afterwards and no advance notice that unfortunately it would take longer. Presumably our order was simply forgotten? Unfortunately, I've had much better spaghetti carbonara in other restaurants, but the prices are quite ambitious.

Very nice, competent and friendly service. Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately the portions are far too small for the price. In the price range, one expects an impeccable experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't quite the case here.

Soy un lugareño de la zona. Es bien sabido en Berlín Mitte que no vas a Coccodrillo por la comida (hay muchos otros restaurantes en la zona y muchos mejores, italiano también). Ve por el interior elegante. Ayer sin duda fue mi última visita allí. Reservado con bastante tiempo de antelación, nos colocaron fuera (sin indicación de esto en la reserva). En una noche lluviosa. Lo que más me irritó fue la extrema antipatía de la persona de servicio a cargo de la colocación. Se ignoraron las cortesías. No dude en irse si no te gusta fuera, fue la única respuesta que obtuvimos. Así que nos fuimos. Como muchos otros. Como se dijo anteriormente: esta zona es bien conocida por sus buenos restaurantes y su calidad de servicio. Coccodrillo no aspira a ser uno de ellos.

We were here on a busy Saturday evening. Our server, Willy, was super friendly and attentive—exactly the kind of service you'd expect! I tried the avocado quinoa salad and loved it. Thank you for the great service!

Italian restaurant. Menu very limited. It must be so. I've experienced better. But try it yourself.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this restaurant. A tourist rip-off. The food was okay, but just something to eat. Nothing special. After our meal, we were asked to leave as quickly as possible because the table was supposedly reserved. There was no question about a second drink. The tables were so close together that the waiters could barely get through. I don't even know if that's allowed. You have to go down a very steep, curved staircase to get to the restroom.

Romero Italian is a wonderful typical Italian restaurant The food was great. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and had that perfect crisp base you’d expect from a quality Italian kitchen. The carbonara was rich, creamy, and beautifully balanced – a real standout. But the true star of the night was the tiramisu. I’ve had countless tiramisus over the years, but this was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted – light, decadent, and utterly unforgettable. Romero is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Italian food served with care and flair. We visited here 24.05.2025 and we will definitely visit again on our return trip to Berlin. Highly recommend

It doesn't get more authentic than this. When you sit down, you're in Italy. The same goes for the food. From lasagna to pizza to pasta with truffles from the Parmesan cheese, prepared right in front of you, everything is delicious and transports you to Italy. The friendly service creates a family atmosphere, like a small, cozy restaurant in Venice. All I can say is... Go there and unwind!
