We were there for the third time, sat twice in the outdoor area directly on the quiet canal, the first time just had a drink and the second time we ate a good real Wiener Schnitzel. The other day, when the weather was cooler, we were indoors, right next to the cozy, warm fireplace. All the tables were set in white, with glasses and cloth napkins - we wouldn't have expected that in a restaurant. This time there was goulash with napkin dumplings, a good red wine or a cellar beer - everything was again very tasty and at moderate prices. If you want, you can dock by boat - and now, even in winter, you can enjoy the great atmosphere between the forest, lake and canal, far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. We will be back soon and are also looking forward to the good service.

Considering that the restaurant is located in a residential complex, it is a very pleasant atmosphere. My pizza was delicious and the service was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long either. 🙂

That used to be much better. Price/performance no longer fits. We were there again and I have to say, overall we were disappointed. Some of the dishes were very good, but the noodles, for example, were dry and boring. However, the most annoying thing was the service. The woman was friendly, but ultimately overwhelmed, which was also because she couldn't serve all the guests properly on her own. Your comments about the wine were unhelpful. Our wine was clearly too warm. In the end we wanted to have a dessert variation for everyone. After I asked about it, they said it didn't really exist anymore, but she wanted to ask once. Finally we got a small plate with three mini portions of dessert for one person. :( Overall, the experience was rather annoying at these prices.

The menu seems to be very different - it's probably not easy to maintain a consistently good standard at these times and in this corner. In any case, we only had a simple card, and the quality was also simple. Prices are rising, like everywhere else...

We ate there tonight and our waitress Ros was very attentive. We had a mixed green salad that was very good, I had a pizza that was very tasty, my wife had the lasagna what she really liked, she had a glass of Chardonnay and I had a big beer, everything was very good and the price were all that was $51 American. I would recommend it.

I ordered food half an hour ago. Got it straight after 20 minutes. The food tasted very good, especially their pasta was incredibly tasty. They did a great job and delivered very quickly.

Actually, La Stella has always been our regular pizzeria, but unfortunately the prices have risen disproportionately. After Corona, there was still a lot of understanding and support for the restaurateur to get through the difficult times, but now, for example, a simple salami pizza for €13.50 can no longer be justified. Unfortunately, several delivery orders were often missing extras (such as cheese/garlic, etc.), but they were paid for additionally.

In der L’Osteria geht die Türe auf und schon fühlt man sich wie in einer typisch italienischen Osteria: Hier kommen Menschen – Familien, Freunde, Pärchen, Jung und Alt – zusammen, um gut zu essen. Es ist ein bisschen laut, lebhaft und über allem schwebt der köstliche Duft der echten italienischen Küche. Ein offener, herzlicher Ort, an dem man so sein darf, wie man ist und sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Wir haben dieses neue Konzept zuerst bestellen, bezahlen und dann Essen ausprobiert.  Es hat wunderbar geklappt. Die Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut. Es wird alles ganz frisch und transparent zubereitet. Fazit: Preisleistungsverhältniss völlig in Ordnung.  Wir kommen wieder.

My favorite Italian in Mitte is failing! The prices are astronomical (in proportion) Meat is supposed to be expensive, that's good...but the prices for the pasta and the starters are not justified! And despite the great wines, the prices here are too high. The kitchen is good, the service is usually top but unfortunately the ratio is no longer right. It's a shame. As long as it stays that way, it's no longer my living room ;)
