We arrived here at rush hour on Saturday evening without a reservation. The three. We received a friendly welcome even though the hut was very full and after a few minutes of waiting we were shown to a table. We liked the food and felt comfortable here.

First time in Berlin to this restaurant. Ambience - top Food was quick and delicious We felt like we were at home, especially the waiter from Udine who served us. Greetings to the whole team, keep it up, highly recommended.

Very unfriendly waiter. It was cold in the restaurant. My pasta with cheese sauce tasted like nothing. Back home, I vomited again and again, so badly that my husband called the ambulance. Food poisoning.

About the service: They were very friendly and quick. About the food: This is not italian food for me. Generous portion of overcooked pasta...too much cream in it. I ordered salmon and tagliatelle but I wanted to have the taste of the salmon and not everthing with cream. I also ordered Tiramisu but it was not the taste I was looking for ( I missed the coffee in it). Maybe the pizza are better... Please tell the kitchen to make their job better.

October 2024: This is a nice Italian restaurant on Friedrichstrasse, a few blocks north of the Spree River. Food was good and prices reasonable.

Italian restaurant in the center of Berlin. Food was delicious. (We ate margarita pizza, lasagna and penne)… We took an Aperol and 2 bottles with it. We paid 61 euros in total.

It is and remains one of my favorite places in Berlin. I've been coming here off and on for 10 years now. We survived my office move, moving out of town and Corona together. The food is good and, especially for Berlin, affordable. The service is familiar, friendly, warm and funny. Located directly at the Friedrichstadtpalast, visitors come for an aperitif before the performance and to eat afterwards. When one of the actors comes, there is a standing ovation. The atmosphere is then magical. Here’s to the next 10 years!

They were really angry and awful and they made the pizza wrong I only ordered 4 and they made me pay for 5 pizzas awful service

I ate salmon with parsley potatoes for €24. The salmon was good, but there was nothing to accompany the potatoes, no side dish. The whole meal was not nicely presented and was very dry.

Roma the classic Italian with a classic menu. Nothing that surprises you, just what you expect from a down-to-earth Italian. That's good but nothing extraordinary. The service was very nice. I'll be back.

The food was totally great and very well cooked but⚠️😡when we asked for the check the waiter didn’t serve us the pay check!!! Instead of that he came to the table with the credit machine and Charged us more than what was supposed to be charged including tip. Very unpleasant and rude! So watch out! ⚠️

the food was awful, carbonara overcooked, ham wasn’t fresh, aperol spritz store bought. You can smell the kitchen grease and piss from the toilets when you eat. will never come back. update: i got a food poisoning.

Near the Friedrichsstadtpalast, the rest deserves 5 stars. If the wine glass and the food are handed to you over the side table because you're too lazy to go around the table... Well. The salad from the bag spiced up with some Parma ham doesn't deserve to cost 13.50, the pizza was good.

07.2024 Addendum: After two years we were able to enjoy our first and today our last holiday dinner here in the Ristorante. Everything was perfect and very family friendly. We are already looking forward to the next time. 04.2022 A cozy, quiet ristorante with very friendly staff. The food, for us pizza and pasta, was on point and very tasty. We'd love to come back for dinner next time.

I've never had such bad spaghetti Bolognese! 99% pasta and 1% Bolognese. I had it packed straight away and turned it into a really tasty bolognese at home.

Wenn ihr mal so richtig schön dumm angemacht werden wollt, dann seid ihr hier genau richtig. Denn hier beißen sich 2 Komponente. Das Essen schmeckt, die Küche ist super. Aber das Personal der Bedienung ist unterste Schublade. Das geht gar nicht. Stühle werden einem ohne freundlich.zu fragen während des Essens unter dem Hintern weggezogen. Sagen darf man nichts, da wird man aufgefordert, während des Essens zu gehen. Habt ihr das nötig Roma? Hauptsache das Geld der Gäste abstauben und das war's. Schlimm. Einen riesen Bogen müsste man um euch machen. Leute, seid gewarnt. In der Straße gibt's besseres als das Roma. Und sas ist sehr schade. Erfahrungsbericht von heute.

I ordered saltimbocca. The side dishes were not explained on the menu. Surprisingly, french fries were served with it. In my opinion, they are an inappropriate side dish that I have never had in this combination at any other Italian restaurant. There were no vegetables. The meat was thickly sliced ​​and dry fried. Unfortunately only 1 star for the Saltimbocca.

Fantastic restaurant. It is close to the train station. We didn't reserve a table in advance, but we still had a seat. The service was fast, the food was very delicious, I have never had such delicious wine before 🙂 Next time we're there, we'll definitely stop by for lunch. I recommend it to everyone 🙂

Friendly staff but none of them is Italian , not even in the kitchen. They don’t really have a clue how to cook Italian food. Cheap , but not recommended for the Italians.

I was disappointed with the food. The bread was dry and soggy. You'd think you can't go wrong with alio el olio. Not even close. The spaghetti was dry and I had to keep mixing it with the oil from the bottom of the plate. There was half a cherry tomato in the meal, but an excessive amount of chili. If I had eaten even part of it, you could have lit a match in my mouth. I paid by card and left 3 euros on the table as a precautionary tip. The waiter grabbed it in no time without asking. I was pretty flabbergasted.

Table for ten people at lunchtime. My Hawaiian pizza was bone dry, tasted primarily of dried oregano spice and I had to look for the pineapple. The man next to me mainly left half of it lying around. The waiter was in a hurry to refill the tables and didn't hide it at all. Pass-through restaurant for lunch breaks, I would say. If you like it...🤷🏻‍♀️

Our go to restaurant during our lunch break, the food is nice and reasonably priced. I always go for the lasagna or the penne. The waiters are amazing and very very friendly, and they really value returning customers. The main waiter literally memorized our orders and whenever we visit he just double check with us if we have the regular.

There are definitely better pizzerias in Berlin. It's a shame that you were sent off so far because the next ones were already waiting. Location is just great, you can use it well before music, theater, etc. Otherwise you sit quite nicely. Noodles were great. Pizza was okay.

Exceptional prices for central Berlin. A pasta for just over €10, and pizzas that would cost double in any other fancy mid-Berlin place. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but that’s to be expected. Penne all’arrabiata could’ve been a bit more spicy - but the great endless supply of bread and olive oil really made up for that!

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait at the door for about 10 minutes until we were called in Very very loud. You can't even have a conversation. The tables are very close together. The food was tasty. But I wouldn't go there again.

Pasta was good, Lasagne was okay. Service not good. Waited 20 minutes for receipt and then another 20 to pay, but then their card device didnt work so we had to wait for another 20 minutes. In the end we went to get cash, overall very bad experience.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht von dem Besuch des Restaurants Roma in der Friedrichstraße. Die Bestuhlung ist so eng, dass man eigentlich nur hoffen und beten kann, dass hier nie etwas passiert, wo alle Gäste das Restaurant schnell verlassen müssen. Das die Treppe in das Kellergeschoß, wo sich die Toiletten befinden, den Anforderungen für eine gewerbliche Nutzung genügen, hat mich sehr überrascht und gehört dringend überprüft, bevor etwas passiert. Zum eigentlichen Besuch des Restaurants gibt es leider auch wenig Gutes zu berichten. Wir wurden direkt neben der Eingangstür platziert. Da wir nicht reserviert hatten, fanden wir das anfangs auch in Ordnung. Aber hier sollten keine Gäste platziert werden, extreme Zugluft und den Eindruck, die Tür ständig ins Kreuz zu bekommen, macht kein gutes Gefühl. Aber das wäre noch zu verschmerzen gewesen. So schlecht sind wir in unserem Leben noch nicht behandelt worden. Das Essen meiner Frau war nicht genießbar. Aber kein Wort des Bedauerns oder eine kleine Wiedergutmachung. Im Gegenteil, noch bevor wir ausgetrunken haben, wurden wir gebeten, uns zu beeilen, es warten schließlich noch andere Gäste. Wenn es eine Bewertung für Servis, Freundlichkeit, Ambiente und Qualität gäbe, würden wir für dieses Restaurant 5 dicke Minuspunkte vergeben. Wer eine gute Zeit im Restaurant haben möchte, sollte auf den Besuch des Restaurants Roma einen großen Bogen machen.

Wieder eine Woche Berlin mit herrliche Besuche an Roma ! Wir lieben das Restaurant, gemütlich, gutes Essen, familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir fühlen uns immer sehr willkommen. Es ist immer voll , reservieren wurde ich machen. Wenn Sie ins Theater wollen ( gegenüber) einfach sagen dann klappt dass wunderbar. Alle Gastgeber dort sind freundlich, lieben ihr Job, machen ein Fest aus jeden Abend, Toni ist ein Schatz 👍🏻

Delicious Italian. Everything tasted great. The pizza in particular was great. The staff was friendly. Personally, the sauce was a little too thin for me. But that is a matter of taste. Had a tiramisu to finish. That was delicious too.

We, my son and I, spontaneously stopped by at lunchtime and immediately found a free table. The food came quickly and was very tasty, the portion sizes were absolutely fine. Individual requests were also taken into account. A real insider tip!
