Great big portions, at good prices for a capital city. Service slower than a pregnant snail, but OK.

The food and service were very good and the atmosphere was also good.

Relatively loud, conversation hardly possible. Service very polite and friendly, food great.

Perfect place to relax and eat good Italian food. The waiters are very cordial.

The pizza came to the table cold or lukewarm - the size doesn't make up for it! The reaction of the waitress and the shift manager was also disappointing: neither of them were interested or there was an excuse that was supposed to ensure understanding on our part (which it didn't). There was also no discount or an espresso on the house or anything like that offered. So overall more than disappointing and guaranteed no risk of repeat.

The food was super delicious 😋 But we had to wait an hour for food. It was very crowded. Our waiter really tried hard, but was absolutely stressed because a colleague was unavailable. We had to wait 15 minutes before we could pay, even though we had already gone to him to tell him. It was very loud. I actually found that the most uncomfortable. Profit isn't everything.

The pizza is very tasty. But that’s about it for the positive. This branch is super loud, often overcrowded even during the week and therefore has eternal waiting times. On a normal weekday evening we waited more than 60 minutes for three pizzas. When we asked after 40 minutes, we found out that a large table had ordered just before us. Sure, I can understand it, but then I either expect to be notified sooner or for smaller orders to be put in between. The fact that a large table “blocks” the restaurant for an hour is absolutely unacceptable and poor planning. So we had to wolf down our pizza to get to the cinema in time. So plan on spending two hours here.

I ordered food delivery, they forgot to put the pizza, they forgot to put almost all the ingredients in the salad and the rest of the dishes were not very good

We went to the restaurant together as a class. We were there with 31 people and were served straight away. The drinks came quickly and the food was served so that everyone could start at the same time. Everyone enjoyed the food.

Always a bit crowded, that's probably due to the location, but like everywhere else the pizzas are very big and you can't go wrong

The food, I had pizza, was sensational. This pizza towered over the plate and was unmanageable, at least by me. Super delicious base and my chosen toppings were just right. We had to wait quite a long time for our order, but it was worth it

As always, we ate very well. Paolo gave us good advice and made sure we didn't run out of drinks. Thank you very much - again at any time. One point is deducted for the ambience because it was incredibly loud.

We would have liked to eat and had made reservations for the evening. After 10 minutes in front of the counter we were still ignored. In the 10 minutes of waiting we saw 8 empty tables, all of which were full of dirty tables and glasses. The floor was dirty and littered with trash. The dishes were cleared by simply placing the plates on top of each other and leaving the leftover food on them. The music was extremely loud. We then went to a pizzeria opposite and that was good.

They added extras to the bill that shouldn’t have been on the there. Then they tried to tried to pull a fast one on us. Always. Check your bill before leaving.

You have to have a lot of patience here, service after ordering took an hour. Kitchen is well organized, but service is chaos. Pizzas are ridiculously big here, they don't even fit on the rather large plates.

Grösste Pizza ever, aber Mega dünner knuspriger Pizza Boden, sehr geschmackvoll, grosser Hunger mitbringen. Ambiente gut, Toiletten terrible, herkömmliche Hygieneartikel nicht vorhanden.

Für Abends sollte man unbedingt reservieren. Wir haben bei unserem Berlin Trip 2 Italiener getestet. L Osteria war eine davon, Pizza Evin war der andere. Das "La Sardegna hatten wir vor 2 Jahren schon getestet. Das war mit Abstand der schlechteste Italiener. Bei der Osteria gibt es geniale, große und leckere Pizzen. Das Personal ist sehr aufgeschlossen und freundlich. Schade, dass Lasagne, Bruscetta und Nudeln mit Pest nicht so toll waren. Wenn man auf tolle Pizzen steht, dann ist man hier richtig aufgehoben, das Alles zu einem Bombenpreis. Oktober 2025 sind wir wieder da.

The restaurant benefits from its prominent location, the food was okay but not particularly tasty. Pretty loud, annoying music, after a while you get used to it when you're there with nice people :) Next time we'd rather go to a "real" Italian restaurant!

Food was subpar, sauce without seasoning, pasta soggy. It takes far too long for us to get the food. Service ok, tried to make amends and gave us a court order.

Correct food, cozy place but terrible service. We waited more than half an hour to order and another half hour to be served 2 pizzas and 2 pastas. Several tables left without ordering due to the time they were made to wait. Highly inadvisable due to poor service and lack of attention.

Service is far too slow. We arrived where the shop was almost empty and still had to wait 45 minutes for the food... when the shop was full... the service couldn't keep up at all... if it continues like this ..it will have to close soon unfortunately..I can't recommend the restaurant, and especially not for families with children..because the service takes too long..Service has to be on the ball..

We were here with nine people and wanted to have lunch. After waiting for over 20 minutes, we were not served and ignored by the waiter. In the end we got up and went to eat somewhere else.

We had reserved a table and still didn't get the seat we wanted. Four of us were seated at a round table where cosiness and comfort were taboo. We also had to wait quite a long time until our order was taken and ultimately brought to the table. The pizza was dry, the chicken in the Caesar salad was cold. Despite repeated requests for another table, this was not granted. Tables were always free and, as already mentioned, we reserved them. The dirt from the tables was simply wiped onto the floor. The main thing is that the guests leave quickly so that new guests can be seated. Left absolutely dissatisfied!

We were in the restaurant on October 30th, 2024 at 6 p.m. After about 30 minutes the service came. After almost an hour after placing the order, the lukewarm pizza came to the table. Although the restaurant was busy, the waiter ran back and forth without a plan. We actually like being with you, but that wasn't possible!!

sorry but it just takes too long. The oizzes are also ridiculously large and can hardly be cut because they extend beyond the edge of the plate

The waiting time was way too long. The place looked understaffed. The pizza was very good. However the pasta dishes for the children were cold.

10 minutes from the door, ok that's fine, the store was pretty full. After we got a table we had to wait 15 minutes for a waiter. But we were able to test our eardrums for free, extreme volume here, dishes are not put away but rather hammered into them. After our order we waited 40 minutes for noodles. We're at the Italian restaurant where pasta has to run like it's on an assembly line. So the food arrived and lo and behold, half of it was cold. After I pointed this out to the waiter, he offered me coffee as compensation 🙄 . I politely said no, because it could take an eternity until the coffee beans are picked...

We know a restaurant from this chain in HH and are always very satisfied there. We can't say that at all about this location. First we had to wait a long time before we could place our order, then we waited a very long time for the food we ordered. When it finally arrived, it was unfortunately only lukewarm. The taste was okay, but not hot, but since we had been waiting hungry for a long time, we preferred to eat instead of waiting any longer. There was no waiter who could have taken up our complaint anyway. After eating we had to wait a long time until the waiter was ready to clear away the food. He didn't care much about our criticism, but he did have time to point out the possibility of a tip. It's a shame about the time and money we wasted here that evening.

The dishes are simply delicious, whether pizza or pasta. The salads are super fresh. The service and the ambience make us feel as comfortable as with mom in the kitchen :)

L`Osteria is an integral part of our business, whether Sylt, Kiel, Hamburg or now Berlin, the food always tastes very good to us, pasta is always a bit small compared to the pizza, but still TOP. The service is friendly and accommodating and although there is always a lot going on, the waiting time is limited. There is a small point deduction for the ambience, but only because I personally don't like it that loud, it's like being in a laying hen house, close together, a little more distance would be nice, especially for conversations. But this restaurant is clearly recommended no matter where.

Good Osteria restaurant with the same good quality as at other chain locations. The service is extremely friendly, it could just be a little better organized. The ambience is unfortunately very loud, both due to the full rooms and the very loud music, which is unfortunately far too loud for background music. All in all, a good restaurant that you can recommend without hesitation.

Very bad service from the start. We waited 15min in line, no one came. We had to ask for seating help. The guy said he had been in a discussion with someone (no clue why that was relevant to us). He seated the people waiting in front, but asked us to wait at the bar since we had no reservation, which was fine. We waited 20min and he kept seating others. We asked a family he seated after us, if they had a reservation, they did not! So he was basically seating a lot of people and when we asked him, he gave us an attitude about it and kept us waiting for another 5min before he lazily got us a table ready. The restaurant was nowhere near full. Lots of available tables that never got occupied while we were there. Pizza was great, pasta super over cooked! Very disappointed at the person seating people and we also waited 30min to get our food!

Excellent Italian tent, contrary to what the rating suggests. Service from the wait staff could be improved a bit, something more friendly might be smart from the customer's point of view. Food in L'Osteria is equally good, as it is a chain. Table allocation is not fair. You see some free tables without reservations and wait over 30 minutes to be able to sit down. Then you get a table in the passage, the same number of people behind us at tables at the window. If you want to pay, you wait a long time. There are clearly not enough staff.

Great atmosphere, great tastes…the pizzas are quite big and filling. Mezzalune spinaci is legendary. Big thanks to Paul he is so kind✌️✌️
