Not really a bad place for lunch, but the Shashuka wasn't authentic at all and wasn't sophisticated in any other way, which I found a shame because I was looking forward to it. The falafel were delicious. Service was okay

Good vegan restaurant. I had the Hummus Sabisch and unfortunately both the eggplants and the potatoes were cold due to the hummus and therefore not as tasty.

A small restaurant with seating inside and outside. Typically Israeli. Dishes were also very good (falafel and hummus). I sat down to eat with my teenage son who was moderately hungry. In Israel, we would order a plate of falafel, hummus, pitas and pickles. The price should cover everything (possibly excluding pickles). There wasn't such an option here, so we had to share a falafel plate (four balls for €9!), hummus plate for everyone (approx. €9 - fits). The pitas are not included! You have to order these separately (very untypically Israeli). I also wanted Baba Ganoush and got a small bowl for €5 (expensive). To save money, I avoided pickled or spicy foods. We enjoyed the food, the shop wasn't unfull (as it was after 2 p.m.) but unfortunately it wasn't cheap (just under €40, with drinks). On Sundays our favorite restaurant on Berg-am-Laim Str. is closed, so we had to avoid it! The food is very suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

Israeli cuisine is always a surprise! In Tel Aviv-Jaffa you definitely shouldn't miss the appetizer platter and a delicious dessert with mocha. And not everything in between. The appetizer platter offers a wonderful variety of spices (the small one is enough for 2 people). The main course leaves you feeling full and very happy. The restaurant has its own charm. We'll definitely be back, but with friends. Good things have to be shared.

Sorry but that was the worst service in all of Munich. I can't recommend it to anyone.

Excellent service and the food was amazing! I would recommend the plate of mezze for 4 persons and the cauliflower as a main, so so great!

Das Essen war super-lecker, auch Gerichte, die man zu kennen glaubt, überraschen mit einer besonderen Gewürzen udn Aromen ganz neu. Ganz besonderes zu erwähnen ist der sehr aufmerksame und flinke, aber komplett unaufgeregte Service. Wir hatten den Besuch im Schmock mit anschließendem Theater-Besuch geplant und das lief alles prima. Klasse. Wir kommen wieder, auch mal ohne Theater-Besuch, damit wir uns auch für die Desserts noch Zeit nehmen können.

I absolutely loved the Mani Restaurant! The atmosphere is super cozy and invites you to linger. The service was attentive, courteous & friendly, and the food was simply delicious, especially the Israeli classics blew me away - a perfect combination of classic & modern. The prices are absolutely justified for the quality. I'll definitely be back!

This place is located in a highly vibrant and interesting section of Berlin, next door to the "new" synagogue on Oranienbergerstrasse. A great place to take a break. Nice array of hummus varieties, good breads, nice wine. Roast veggies are delicious. Friendly and helpful staff.
