Friendly, tasty and, above all, meat-free. The selection is great - the vegan cakes also taste incredibly good. Even my teenage son likes to have a burger brought from Kuli Alma and gave him his accolade: "If I hadn't known that the burger was vegan, I wouldn't have noticed the taste." And of course, dogs are warmly welcomed and given water before people receive their food. ❤️

A great vegan restaurant! It is in a residential area, so finding parking can be a little more difficult. The food sounds fantastic and I had a really hard time choosing. The Israeli cigars are an absolute recommendation - the best appetizer I've had so far! The main course was also delicious, but I found it lacking a bit of variety in taste, which meant that the variety on the plate wasn't quite there. Overall, the restaurant is definitely recommended!

The restaurant is in a very quiet location. Which makes a visit here very pleasant and relaxing. If you come early you can get a table even without a reservation, otherwise we recommend making a reservation. The food was very tasty and we were very satisfied. We were here for dinner. The service was so friendly and concerned about the well-being of the guests. That gave us a good feeling and we felt very comfortable. From Monday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. you can order a starter and main course for €11.90. The only small negative point was the outdoor area, which I found to be very busy and restless.

This evening we went to Kuli Alma with family & friends. It was simply sensational, like winning the lottery. Plenty of good portions and very fair prices for the dishes. You can't complain. Service - top Ambience - top Food - top I can only recommend it.

The restaurant is small and cozy. I recommend making a reservation as it is always busy. The service is good, and the staff are friendly. Ordering was quick, and the food arrived promptly and was delicious. I tried an Israeli wine that was delightful. The prices are good. Although the restaurant is a bit far from the city center, it is worth the effort. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The dishes impressed with their excellent taste and were also perfectly prepared. We ordered homemade shawarma, oyster mushroom shaearma and chraime. All dishes were beautifully presented. The portion sizes were just right. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating and the service was excellent. The price-performance ratio is consistent. Overall a great experience. Thank you very much!

Not the food that i was expecting, would never Recommend it at all.

Whenever I'm in the Frankfurt area, Kuli Alma is a must for me. Even for non-vegans - like me - an experience. I've been there 4 times now, it's just great. The last time was with my mother for her birthday, who was extremely skeptical at first... you convinced her, she still raves about the cauliflower steak 😉

We’ve been there for the fifth or sixth time, and as always, the quality and tast of the food was outstanding, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Even as omnivores, we left with fully satisfied stomach and taste buds. This time, however, the service of the two waiters was below standard, to say the least. We had reserved a table, arrived well on time, but after that we had to catch the attention of one of the two waiters each time anew. We were very friendly, as always, but they shoved the plates on the table in a rather rude manner, took them away so hastily that the cutlery dropped to the floor, didn’t ask if we were satisfied with the food, or if we had another wish, a drink, pudding, whatever - not once. Our prior experiences in terms of service were vastly different, much better. What a pity, as they certainly don’t do a favour to the otherwise excellent restaurant. Reservation service (a lady) was super friendly however.

Amazing food - one of the best restaurants I have experienced recently. Everything is delicious, fresh, surprising & perfectly cooked. Special mention to the Oyster mushroom shawarma. The terrace is super nice, in a quiet neighborhood, all the staff is really amazing.

We had lunch at Kuli Alma. The food was beautifully prepared and tasted excellent. We were always served in a friendly manner, the lady in service was very attentive without being intrusive. Delicious vegan food in a pleasant environment and friendly staff, what more could you want. Gladly again.

Great food and service!! Ambience? Residential area rather...not so romantic

We were here for brunch and the food came promptly. The food was excellent and especially the falafel and cauliflower were great. I was a little skeptical at first because I'm a big meat lover. However, the skepticism completely disappeared after the first round of testing. Meat lovers will also get their money's worth here. Service and ambience were good but not outstanding either. In general, 100% recommendation! I'll be back.

Delicious food, not vegan only, but with various vegan option. In my opinion Mediterranean flavors but definitely not solely Israeli. We had the cauliflower 'steak' which is 100% recommended, and the oyster mushroom skewer which was a bit cautiously seasoned. We spiced it up with some salt and pepper. The falafel were good as well, however we didn't get any bread with it – just five falafel. We were seated on the outside terrace which was beautifully decorated with olive trees and nice plants.

Absolutely full stars deservedly received, we hadn't reserved a table but still got a table for two, the reception was extremely nice and we were allowed to sit under a very warm patio heater, the atmosphere was very cozy and inviting, even the toilet What was very narrow and small was in a very clean condition, which is always very important to me personally. The homemade lemonade with mint was excellent and my favorite when mixed with water :) We took the main plate for two, the quantity is just right & the quality is top! Very fresh, extremely tasty and leaves nothing to be desired. Since we were sitting outside, there were cozy warm blankets that made us feel completely comfortable. We will definitely recommend it.

I have to say, very, very tasty! I'm not a fan of substitute products (beyond burgers) and haven't tried these. But everything else was great, very tasteful and delicious. Also very nice service 😄

We have been guests at Kuli Alma since the beginning, since 2019. With our regulars' table once a week, I couldn't imagine a better place to meet up with friends (vegan, well looked after). Here’s to the next few years! #govegan <3

Food, service, atmosphere all a 10/10. I had been here once with friends and this time I really wanted to bring my family with me and the food also convinced my parents. The four of us shared an oyster mushroom shawarma, cauliflower steak and 2 brunch menu items and it was outstanding from start to finish.

Nice vegetarian Israeli restaurant, somewhat "hidden". We sat outside. Nice service. The appetizer platter was super good. Only my second starter disappointed me a bit, three small rolls that were very greasy for a hefty price.

Sie sorgte mit ihrer herzlichen Art dafür, dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlten. Ihre Aufmerksamkeit und ihr Engagement machten unseren Aufenthalt besonders angenehm, da sie stets dafür sorgte, dass es uns an nichts fehlte. Die Speisekarte im Kuli Alma bestach durch ihre Vielfalt und Authentizität. Sie bot eine wunderbare Auswahl an traditionellen israelischen Gerichten, die mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt zubereitet wurden. Jede Speise war ein Fest für die Sinne, sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich. Die Qualität der Speisen war herausragend. Die Zutaten waren frisch und von bester Qualität, was sich in jedem Bissen widerspiegelte. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir von den raffinierten Gewürzkombinationen und den intensiven Aromen, die die israelische Küche so besonders machen. Ob herzhaft oder süß, jedes Gericht war ein kulinarisches Meisterwerk. Das Kuli Alma hat uns nicht nur durch seine exzellente Küche, sondern auch durch seine authentische und warme Atmosphäre überzeugt. Ein Besuch in diesem Restaurant ist eine Reise in die kulinarische Welt Israels, die man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte. I love the food, and once all it's super fresh and healthy. The have a very good selection of Israeli wine that it's hard to find somewhere else.

If in FFM, then always to Kuli Alma! The vegan Israeli dishes are awesome, especially the hummus is the creamiest I know in the world. I can also personally recommend the oyster mushrooms. The service is always friendly and courteous. The operators are kind-hearted people who run this restaurant with a lot of love and dedication. It's very sad to see that they keep getting hateful, anti-Semitic 1-star reviews from people who have never eaten there. The 4.7 stars shown here should be a 5.0. If you appreciate excellent food and don't want to leave room for anti-Semitism, you should leave a 5-star review here 🙏

Came across this gem by chance while visiting Frankfurt. What friendly service! What a lovely atmosphere! And the food?: delicious, fresh, sumptuous and intense! We were here as a group with children - there was something for everyone at the table, we have rarely eaten so well in this constellation. And everything is vegan! Oh, if only there were more places like this in Germany!

Ursprünglich war ich dort verabredet - aber leider ist meine Begleitung krank geworden, daher bin ich alleine dort gewesen. Beste Entscheidung! Großartiges Essen, sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Es lohnt sich frühzeitig zu reservieren, um einen Platz draußen zu bekommen. Das Essen war phänomenal - tolle Auswahl und hervorragend abgeschmeckt! Ich komme sehr gerne wiede.

It's a shame that there are no 4.4 or 4.8 points 😉 The food is delicious, the service is very friendly and attentive and it's really nice to sit there. It's a shame that I don't have something like that anywhere near me in the Taunus. Despite the nice weather, we unfortunately couldn't sit outside because there was a larger group there. But I'll definitely be back - and then I'd love to be outside too 👌🏼

Delicious, authentic food that the eyes can enjoy. A cozy atmosphere, both on the terrace and in the vaulted cellar or in the restaurant itself. Friendly waiters who give good advice and point out special offers. With a cold Israeli beer, what more do you need to have a good time? I'd love to come back again and again!

Definitely recommended. I stopped by spontaneously, but didn't know what exactly I wanted - but clearly something traditional and authentic. The service was very helpful and friendly, the selection of starters - simply wonderful. Atmosphere, service, food - everything was great. Gladly again!

I have been a customer at Dominion, Kuli Alma and recently at Life Deli for years. I am always impressed by the taste, quality and friendly atmosphere and regularly recommend the restaurants.

Mega tasty and high quality food. We've been eating there for years and always enjoy going there. A lot of people seem to be avoiding the store because of the war, which is completely unfair. Vegans in particular, who are always for tolerance and understanding, should know that the owners do not support the war and cannot do anything about it. How blind do you have to be to harm someone else's business because there is a war somewhere in the world? I hope most people don't drink Coke, don't have an iPhone and don't use Facebook. Because that's what the real warmongers are selling. So please avoid the Americans too ;)

I love the Alma pen! When I'm in the area, this is my first place to eat. But I often drive over an hour extra there! Great food, lovely staff and last time there was even a dessert on the house. ❤️

This restaurant is a real recommendation. The service is friendly and we have never had to wait long for drinks or food. Of course, it's a dream, especially for vegans, to eat your way through the menu without a care in the world. But due to the great selection and preparation of the dishes, it is also highly recommended for non-vegans. The dishes are delicious, well seasoned and varied. Each plate is a compilation of different flavors and consistencies. Only the location gets a tiny deduction because it is a very small shop that is always well staffed and therefore has a very lively background noise. I would therefore recommend making a reservation in advance.

We were there some time ago after our vacation in the Dominican Republic (including Frankfurt Airport). I'm not someone who eats a lot of vegan food myself, but we were in Frankfurt for 3 days after the return flight & my sister is vegan, so that was an option (And Israeli food is very good. Like Greek, only a little more oriental^^) food was very good (although I personally don't eat vegan... had kebab.), the restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, the bathroom was tidy & it was relatively regulated.

I always enjoy going there. The menu is not overloaded and all the dishes are always fresh and delicious! The oyster mushroom shawarma and the starter and main course platters are particularly great to try. The atmosphere and the staff are really nice. Definitely the best vegan restaurant in FFM and the surrounding area. The fact that the operators have received so much hostility since anti-Semitism and hatred of Israel has become more and more blatant just makes me sad and angry. I hope they stay, I would miss Kuli Alma very much.

Out of deep conviction and with an endless commitment to people, animals and the environment, the Rosenfeld family has so far established four unique plant-based restaurants in Frankfurt. In addition to the now unfortunately closed Zeil Kitchen, this Vegan Power success series began with the opening of Kuli Alma. The restaurant is idyllically located in the Dornbusch district and, in addition to the cozy interior, offers a terrace lovingly surrounded by olive trees, rosemary and other Mediterranean plants, as well as a rustic wine cellar. Apart from the location, the warm manager and her well-rehearsed team ensure a feel-good atmosphere at its best with their friendly and attentive service. The range of starters and main courses at Kuli Alma is varied, for example crispy falafel, creamy labaneh and hummus, delicious herb mushrooms, freshly baked challah and pita bread, delicious potato salad, delicious oyster mushroom shawarma, spicy grilled cauliflower steak and much more very tasty more. The desserts such as cheesecake, strawberry crumble and Snickers cake are also a poem. The wonderful food is complemented by a very good selection of selected vegan wines and drinks. A business lunch is offered Monday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Brunch is served on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and guests are served an exquisite selection of starters and main courses. At Kuli Alma, vegans can enjoy it in peace and everyone else will enjoy it too. As a non-vegan person very close to me said: "I don't eat here because it's vegan, but because I like it." Even if this statement can hurt the vegan heart, it is still a huge compliment to the incomparable Coolie Alma.

It was a pleasure to revisit this Israeli restaurant that I have enjoyed going to for a long time. The main meal is very tasty, especially the Beyond Burger, the chocolate cake is not that recommended, but as I said, everything else is very tasty, and the beautiful terrace is recommended 🇮🇱🧆
