Nice shop, friendly service, the food is authentic, however the portions are modest, which doesn't detract from the overall result.

I found the hummus, cauliflower, and eggplant absolutely unappetizing and overpriced. 269 is significantly better and just around the corner. This has nothing to do with hating Israel or anything like that. I really love Israeli food, but this just wasn't for me. The hummus was almost bitter, and the eggplant was too sour.

Delicious food, best service and good atmosphere

Great little Israeli restaurant with a very attractive dining room and a large terrace in the Westend district. We had several vegetarian dishes – and each one was delicious, freshly prepared, and of excellent quality. The gentleman who looked after us was super friendly and always helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos, which means I definitely have to come back. But I will anyway; the hummus was one of the best I've had in Germany.

We stopped by spontaneously one evening. They were supposed to be closing soon. Nevertheless, we received friendly service and our food arrived quite quickly. The food was very good. We will be back. Thank you very much!

Delicious cuisine in a pleasant atmosphere.

Great staff, food was delicious, nice and cozy ambience, only a little cold if the door was left open. We ordered the meat plate for two people, although we were a group of three. Was good enough to fill us up quite well. Will definitely have to come back to try the entire menu!

I generally like Israeli and Middle Eastern cuisine, but our visit to the Museumsuferfest was unfortunately not convincing. It was a shame, the kitchen seemed to have already closed and the dishes were just being reheated. The seasoning was lacking, and the meat could have been cooked again. The mood suddenly changed, and while we were still eating, the table was already being cleared away. The espresso was (unfortunately) not worth the price either, not to mention the maximum amount. It's a shame, it could have been more!

Delicious food with plenty of flavor – every bite is worth it! 🥙✨ The service was prompt at the table, only the kitchen took a little longer. We were compensated for this with friendliness and a good atmosphere. At the end, we were full, satisfied, and certainly not the last time we'll be here. 👌😊

I was very disappointed with my visit to Jaffa Market. The food took a very long time to arrive, and when it finally arrived, it was unfortunately of poor quality. The shakshuka was watery, tasteless, and had absolutely nothing to do with a proper shakshuka. I couldn't even finish the dish. When I expressed my disappointment at the end, the waiter simply said, "If you had said something, we could have done something." However, I consider it part of the standard of service to ask the customer if everything is okay during the meal, not just when it's time to pay. The prices are extremely high and don't match the quality of the food at all. The value for money is completely out of reach. For me, it was a very negative experience, and I won't be returning.

Delicious and authentic Israeli cuisine in the West End. The food is fresh, the wait times are fairly short, the service is friendly and attentive, and in the summer, there are plenty of outdoor seating areas. The prices are also perfectly reasonable.

I had lunch at Jaffa Market today. The food was delicious: herbal and meat cigars and Tel Aviv-style hummus. And beware of the negative reviews. Some are probably... politically motivated.

There was a very limited menu available for lunch. Not everything from the regular menu. That is why a star less. But the waitress was very sweet and the kitchen agreed to make some extra dishes. Food was very tasty.

A great place for brunch with a cosy atmosphere and Mediterranean feel. The halloumi and falafel were delicious and filling – perfect after a flight. The service is attentive, there is both an indoor dining room and a terrace. The prices are typical for Frankfurt, but the place is worth it!

I have problem with restaurant calling these Israeli food when it’s actually Palestinian food. What else they want to steal?

We are here after JP Morgan run and everyone was very happy with food! Everything was extremely tasty, especially starters. Service was great, very friendly. We had bunch of food and therefore couldn’t finish it. Eventually staff paled us left over to go!

I thought the food was great. There was an unusually large amount of fresh vegetables in the main courses, delicious meat and potatoes, and fresh, warm bread with the hummus. Only the kofte was a bit too dry. Roberto, who served us, was extremely attentive and friendly. We had a very pleasant evening!

The food was delicious, but not worth the high price. The portions were small. For €18, I got 1.5 eggs, 5 small potatoes, and a few slices of eggplant with sauce (a vegetarian dish).

Wir waren mittags zum Essen dort. Vorspeise und Hauptgericht wurde bestellt, aufmerksamer Service, die anwesende Kundschaft war aber auch übersichtlich. Wir haben das Essen genossen und werden bei einem Besuch in Ffm auch gerne wieder vorbeikommen. Warum es keine 5* gibt...kein israelisches Bier da, schade.

We waited 25 minutes for the order and 20 minutes for the food. There were three groups of guests including us 🤣 I imagined how long it would take if we ordered food to cook. Please see the picture to see what the food looks like after 20 minutes of waiting. I left without eating.

We haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. My partner and I both had a shawarma plate. Almost no meat, just onions, no dressing on the salad - half remained on the plate. Service was also a disaster - not even asking if it was tasty. We're not coming anymore!

We ordered a mixed platter (no starters) which cost €22 per person, 9 mini bowls with absolutely disgusting tasting things, the eggplant puree was spoiled, one bowl was simply filled with cream cheese. Not only were we super hungry after a plate for €44, we now have gastrointestinal problems. The tall waiter with glasses even told us that it could be that the mus had gone bad. There was no discount, no compensation and no apology. The health department has been informed that you should avoid this shop.

I celebrated my birthday at Jaffa Market with 20 guests. The Jaffa Market team went above and beyond to provide great food and showcase the diversity of Israeli cuisine. All of my guests were not just satisfied, they were absolutely thrilled. I would also like to thank them for the attentive and friendly service. I'm already looking forward to the next celebration with family and friends at Jaffa Market.

Das Essen war durchschnittlich, der Service übergriffig bis abwertend, über den Abend unaufmerksam. Dies gipfelte darin, dass der Ober zwischendurch die Türe aufmachte, um sie dann minutenlang offenstehen zu lassen und seine Gäste frieren zu lassen. Zum Schluss, als er selber vor den Gästen ging, gab es nur noch Missachtung und ein hingeworfenes 'Schalom'. Das hätte er auch dann auch sparen können.

No. The food was average, the service was abusive and derogatory, and inattentive throughout the evening. This culminated in the waiter opening the door every now and then, only to leave it open for minutes and let his guests freeze. At the end, when he himself left in front of the guests, there was only disrespect and a thrown 'Shalom'. He could have saved that too.

Everything was good, nice service, nice atmosphere but the grill plate for 2 person was out of price, 43 euros per person; i find this expensive tbh. But nice food.

Jaffa Market in Frankfurt is a real gem for anyone who loves Israeli food! The dishes are fresh, full of flavor and prepared with a lot of love. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients – everything tastes authentic and like in Tel Aviv. The hummus is creamy and perfectly seasoned, the falafel is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the pita bread is to die for. The service is also super friendly and attentive. You immediately feel welcome! I am completely satisfied and can only warmly recommend Jaffa Market. If you are looking for fresh, authentic and delicious Israeli cuisine in Frankfurt, you have come to the right place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The first impression was very positive. The cellar was very polite, courteous and quick. The food was overall tasty, but we really missed the spice and variety of Israeli spices. The price-performance ratio is borderline, you pay the high prices to be able to pay the Westend rent, but unfortunately not for the good food.

I ordered the mixed platter and it only came with one piece of bread which was clearly not enough. When I asked for another one, they charged me 2€ for it. This would never happen in a lebnese, palestinian or turkish restaurant. Would not recommend.

I had high hopes for Jaffa Market, but my experience was a nightmare. If I could give zero stars, I would. Service was painfully slow—20 minutes just to get a menu. I ordered the shakshouka, and from the first bite, something tasted off. The eggs had a weird sulfuric smell, but I brushed it off. Huge mistake. A few hours later, I was violently ill—cramps, nausea, fever, the whole ordeal. When I called the restaurant, the manager arrogantly dismissed me, insisting their food couldn’t have caused it. No accountability, no concern. Serving spoiled eggs and then denying any responsibility? Unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs. You’re better off going somewhere that actually knows how to make real original middle eastern shakshouka instead of whatever this was.

A special place with special food, a must visit, not to be missed. The whole menu is delicious, I visited there dozens of times.

I had a longing for Israel and Israeli food and wanted to satisfy it with a nice dinner there. The two of us ordered the mixed starters for €20 per person. As announced, we received 9 mini salads, each with 1 mini Shakshuka, 1 Kababonim (minced lamb meatball that came to the table almost cold) and 1 small pita. Unfortunately, the salads were all super bland and I didn't find them very authentic either, at least in my experience. 1 pita bread per person, with an appetizer platter that contains 2 dips I think it's pretty lean. My companion kindly asked for 1 more bread, this was brought straight away and immediately billed for €2, unannounced. I've never experienced anything like that before. 1 bottle of still water €8, also really quite generous. The waiter was very friendly, but a bit intrusive, because he asked every few minutes if everything was OK and then constantly poured more water. That was certainly meant nicely, but it was a touch too much of a good thing, especially since he coughs almost constantly without putting his hand in front of him. The shop itself has a nice atmosphere, the service was still friendly, but I didn't find it enjoyable and would therefore unfortunately not come back.

This was the best hummus I have ever eaten. And the falafel are also very tasty! And the bread was fresh out of the oven, hmmmm Yummy 🙂 … nice service, nice atmosphere. I'm already dreaming of the next visit.

Even shortly before the opening hours ended, I received a very friendly welcome. The vegetarian food was very tasty and reasonable value for money. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, just good hosts. I felt very comfortable and moved on full and satisfied.

It's just all Arabic food. Very bold - didn't even change the Arabic names, but the main thing was to claim them as Israeli...

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr lecker. Auch ruhige Lage gefiel uns sehr gut. Man ging auf unsere Wünsche ein. Vor allem war es gut gut, das man die Gerichte in klein bekam um gleich mehrere Sachen zu probieren. Würden wir jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wir waren zu dritt am Sonntag im Jaffa Market und alle drei sehr zufrieden: der Service war sehr schnell und sehr freundlich. Wir hatten uns dann für eine Zusammenstellung aus verschiedenen Sachen aus der Küche entschieden, die dann auch recht rasch kamen - und alle sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Die Plätze draußen waren schön und auch ruhig (trotz der Straße). Wir sind alle drei sehr satt geworden, die Portionsgrößen waren wirklich ausreichend. Von daher alles in allem ein sehr gelungenes Mittagessen - und jederzeit sehr gerne wieder.

It's close to my accommodation, so I was passing by and noticed it, and it's really delicious. Mediterranean salad, fish dish, al pasta with princess beans, and hamburger steak? More reinforcement later~~~ haha

I wanted to see it in person to see what these so-called “Israeli dishes” are. First of all, this title of the restaurant is extremely misleading, because almost ALL of the dishes on offer are traditional Palestinian dishes!

Got charged 5€ for coffee to go that actually costed 4.5€ because they did not have 50 cents change. Bizarre

Today was a really nice day, I chose this restaurant because both my daughter and I love Israeli cuisine, the food was fantastic and the service was very charming, it wasn't the last time I've been there.

We had a mix of different starters and Sinya and Israeli Misch Masch as our main course, as we were there for the first time and wanted to get an overview of the culinary offerings. The dishes were prepared very tasty, the meat was tenderly grilled, the oven vegetables were on point and deliciously seasoned. We also enjoyed the side dishes. The decor is rustic, the service was very nice and attentive! Definitely a recommended experience.

I was eating there alone and the Egyptian waiter treated me like I wasn't wanted. Took the salt from the table without asking. When I later asked for salt, I was given a salt mill that barely came out! However, you may not be able to overlook this if this waiter uses the table without asking as a place to put plates and cutlery while I'm eating!! I ended up with 3 plates of cutlery around my food!

Aside from offering stolen Palestinian food, okay. Falafel hummus etc are older than Israel, so the name of the cuisine is extremely misleading

Wir waren mit einer kleinen Gruppe vor Ort und wurden gebeten, auf Basis der Karte der Website vorzubestellen. Beim Zahlen hat sich dann herausgestellt, dass die meisten Speisen 3-4 Euro teurer waren als online. Trotz Infoschildchen zu Kartenzahlung ab 25 EUR im und vor dem Lokal, wurde nur Barzahlung akzeptiert. Rechnung Fehlanzeige. Da bleibt leider ein schaler Beigeschmack.

Das Jaffa Market ist eine absolute GeschmacksBOMBE!!!! Alles Speisen hoch qualitativ, mega frisch und so toll gewürzt!! Mein Favorit die gemischten Vorspeisen…aber alles Sachen auf der Karte sind mega … Klar das Essen ist nicht umsonst aber Qualität hat seinen Preis Und über die Qualität gibt’s hier kein Anlass zu diskutieren, wir kommen gerne immer wieder

Unbedingt empfehlenswert. Das Essen war hervorragend und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Aus dass wir spontan mehr Leute waren, war kein Problem.

One of the best Restaurants I aet in in Frankfurt. Delicious food!

Zunächst einmal das Restaurant ist relativ klein und überschaubar. Dementsprechend war der Service hervorragend, aufmerksam und schnell. Das Essen ist lecker kommt aber bei weitem nicht an die oft exzellente israelische Küche heran. Würde ich eine andere Küche bewerten wäre ich zufrieden so sehe ich noch Potential. Die Portionen sind eher gesund was uns allen etwas zu klein vorkam. Es ist eine Bereicherung für Frankfurt, aber es geht noch deutlich besser.

Tolle Location mit familiärem Service. Das Essen schmeckt ausgesprochen gut. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend wie kommen gerne wieder.
