Delicious food, nice atmosphere and great service 👍🏻

While it's completely absurd to begin a restaurant review like this, the current political situation seems to necessitate it: I feel a close connection to Israel (WITHOUT endorsing the policies of Netanyahu's current right-wing government!), and as a devout Christian, I see Jews as my "older" brothers and sisters in faith. And because I wish I could live in a world where an Israeli restaurant is simply perceived for what it is—namely, a restaurant—here comes my review. The ambiance of Feinberg on a Berlin summer night is wonderful. The furniture and accessories are tasteful, and the tables are beautifully set. We opted for the "Israeli Mischmasch" for two people. Since the Mischmasch comes with two glasses of Prosecco, we asked the waiter if one of the two Proseccos could be spiced up with something fruity, like pomegranate syrup. This question left the otherwise somewhat confused waiter quite perplexed. He told us that no guest had ever asked for that... well, given the price for this mishmash, I think such a customer request is entirely within the realm of possibility. He then actually brought a Prosecco with some strawberry jam ;-) The meal itself was also very lovingly presented. First, there was a starter of all sorts of dips with bread. Since we were hungry and didn't know any better, we dug in. That was a mistake, because the dips would have been a good complement to the meat and the rather dry and uninspiring falafel of the main course. And although we thoroughly enjoyed the evening because of the beautiful surroundings, it remains to be said: Overall, we've eaten much better and much more cheaply in Israel (and also in Berlin!).

The staff was extremely unfriendly, and the food was acceptable at best. I highly recommend against dining here. 🤮

You can't imagine the ignorant conditions at this establishment. I was completely discriminated against and degraded, making me feel unwelcome. Besides, there are much better options for Arabic (Israeli) cuisine in Berlin. Never again.

I've been to Freibergs several times, but unfortunately, we weren't served today. A young man listlessly placed the menu on the table. He then preferred to occupy himself with his cell phone and a young woman. After 15 minutes, we left the restaurant. And a table across the hall hadn't been cleared yet. That hadn't been done either. Plates and drinks were ignored.

Great food, even had a quick chat with the owner. Highly recommended in Berlin.

Delicious specialty lemonades with real fruit (apricot lemonade, raspberry lemonade, etc.) I highly recommend them. Nice atmosphere.

On a plus side, it's a pleasant terrace - perfect for a summer dinner - and the food is generally tasty. Service that night wasn't great (slow / messy), but I'm not going to generalize as I had the sense that the staff was simply a little tired. However it's simply too expensive for what you get - e.g. 16€ for a hummus plate with two small pieces of bread. 7.5€ for sparkling water. And I find it shocking that a restaurant of this standing doesn't accept cards *at all*. I had to walk 15 min to the nearest ATM, it kinda killed the mood at the end of an otherwise nice evening.

I can highly recommend Feinberg's, and it's my new favorite restaurant for special occasions. The location is perfect between KaDeWe and the nightlife district at Nollendorfplatz, in the center of three subway stations, close to the Kudamm, yet on a quieter side street. The restaurant is very stylishly decorated. The waitress is international and also understands German. The service was first-class: fast, friendly, and unobtrusive. The prices are reasonable for this unique mid-to-upscale Israeli restaurant. Cash only. The food was delicious, harmoniously seasoned, and professionally garnished. The portion sizes were generous. There was plenty of pita bread. An appetizer (olives and radish) was also served as a side dish. I had Sabich Classic and decaffeinated coffee. My companion was also full; we are thrilled and would gladly return.

Incredibly good food! The menu arrived quickly, as did the drinks and the food. We felt the expert advice we received regarding our meal selection was excellent. Payment is only accepted by credit card, but we were politely informed of this when we made our reservation. We'll definitely be back!

I went there with my mom and my daughter — we had such a great time! Everything was super tasty, with very generous portions and really kind staff. The cocktails were excellent, and they have the best amba I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely go there again!

Unfortunately, we received an unfriendly welcome and had to wait over an hour for our table despite having a reservation. When we were finally seated, the waitress was very rude to us. The food ended up being cold, and the drinks weren't even chilled. All in all, a bad experience and not recommended.

At the end of our vacation in Berlin, we ate at Feinberg's on the recommendation of our friend. What can we say? We've rarely been so happy during and after a meal. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious! Be sure to order the Israel MischMasch Premium if you're not sure what you want. There's something for everyone here. The homemade spritzers are also not to be missed; we had raspberry and cherry. We stumbled across this gem during our visit to Berlin, but we'd travel the 500 km just for Feinberg's. דאָ וועט איר געפֿfind ניט נאָר לעקערייַעס פֿון דעם לאַנד װוּ מילך און האָניק רינען, נאָר אויך אַ משפּחתדיקע אַטמאָספֿערע.

The food is highly praised, but unfortunately, it's nothing special or unique. You can get the "classics" in any Arab restaurant. A one-star review isn't anti-Semitism; at some point, the Victim Card is enough!

Unfortunately disappointing – no recommendation I had expected much more from Feinberg's. The service was friendly, but very inattentive – we had to ask for the menu several times, and only part of our order arrived. The food was mediocre to poorly presented, but not worth the price. The shakshuka was particularly disappointing – served lukewarm and very bland in flavor. The atmosphere was also more hectic than cozy, and even though the place wasn't full, we felt like we were being "rushed." I'm open to new culinary experiences, but in this case, neither the value nor the quality was right. Too bad – I wouldn't recommend it.

If you read the menu, 90% of the food is Arabic/Turkish. Anyone who eats here during this time is participating in the Holocaust against the Palestinians. Please don't eat here. Every euro finances the murder of Palestine, and anyone who looks away is.

Finally had the chance to visit Feinberg's. And it was simply fantastic. Very good service and food, plus a fantastic sticker selection. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Berlin.

For some reason the restaurant flags all recent negative reviews as "politically motivated". I agree that politics should not play a role in a restaurant review, and it is sad to see that there needs to be police in front of the restaurant - it's not the restaurant's fault what's happening in the world! Unfortunately I still can't rate it positively because the main dishes were not very good. I could not reserve via phone because no one picked up but we were lucky to get a seat anyway. The restaurant is quite popular so reservations make sense. The service is professional, I thought the waitress was friendly, the male waiters were at least not unfriendly. We ordered a hummus with aubergine to share which was actually pretty tasty! However the amount of bread that came with it was a joke. Three super tiny triangles for the whole table. We asked for more bread, which took a long time to arrive but it was warm and fluffy, so also good - but unfortunately even less than before, only TWO small triangles for three people and lots of leftover hummus. We were joking that wheat must be expensive and that we would just order more bread during the whole evening- which we luckily didn't do because as an unpleasant surprise we later found out that we were charged more than two euros for the tiny two additional pieces of bread. Just give us enough bread for the food, please, it's not so expensive, no 😭 While the starter was good (I would say 4 stars), the mains were a complete disappointment. The meat was tasteless and my friend needed to help with a lot of salt, the shakshuka tasted like from a tomato can with completely overcooked eggs. The shakshuka got served with homeopathic amounts of bread, the meat didn't, so we were economically sharing it in tiny bits, which didn't feel like feasting but more like oh my God, we are running out of bread again, let's be careful. All in all I agree with other reviewers that the atmosphere is nice, the plating is great for Instagram, the starters are good, as is the bread, just the amount is waaaay too little. I found the service was better than some other reviewers wrote. All in all, for three people we paid almost 100 euros which I found way too expensive for what we received. During our visit we noticed some people walking by and shouting slurs towards the restaurant, which I feel very sorry for, just leave them in peace! I think it could be a good place if more effort was put into the main dishes and if bread was not treated like gold. It's doable changes, please try it, I have sympathy for you and would like to support you if the food was better 😭

We wanted to try something different than the classic tourist choice (Italian), and we didn't regret our choice in any way. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly service. Delicious food and plenty of it. Nice to try something new and be positively surprised.

The meal was delicious, but the service was terrible. A cocktail was placed on the table, the food was brought, and then we were left alone. No one asked if everything was okay or if we'd like something after our cocktail. When we asked for the manager, who was supposed to be there, there was no response, and he didn't show up either! Unfortunately, there's no such thing as a minus in the application scale! And regarding the restaurant's comment below: no, that's not anti-Israel criticism, not at all. I've never been so disgusted while eating. I mean, for one thing, the food didn't taste good, which I wouldn't even call food. For another, I saw a fingernail in it, which is why I stopped eating.

I think I would have preferred if the mixed plate for 2 was simply less food for less money, because the portion was way too much for us (and as mixed plates go I found the price fairly high), BUT everything tasted great and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

Exceptionally delicious Israeli cuisine! If you're feeling peckish, definitely order the Mischmasch premium for two: great appetizers (dips) and a brilliantly prepared meat for the main course. Add a delicious wine from Israel (like a Rose from Yarden, for example). A perfect evening! And after a pleasant chat with Leo from the Feinberg's team at the end of the evening, we might also soon be able to enjoy a delicious whiskey from Israel (a Dead Sea whiskey from the MH (Milk and Honey) distillery in Tel Aviv would have been nice).

We had a vegetarian medley for two and lamb. Everything was delicious: the hummus was outstanding, the meat was very tender, and the salads were delicious. Everything was just perfect. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

A great, authentic restaurant with healthy soul food. I've rarely eaten so well. I had the sabich with grilled chicken. The marinated chicken tasted fantastic. The bed of vegetables was rich and perfectly prepared. Flavorful, well-balanced sauces were drizzled over the dish. The pita and pickled vegetables complicated the dish. The portion was enormous, too big for me to finish.

Great food, terrible service! Value for money is out of the question. A bit more smiling and friendliness should be a topic of discussion in team meetings. What a shame!

This was actually my first time dining here. I really like the ambiance. Simply yet comfortably furnished, with a fairly large outdoor area, Feinberg's invites you to linger. The well-stocked menu, with typical Israeli dishes, includes everything your heart and stomach desires, from delicious salads and hummus dishes to a variety of chicken dishes. This is rounded out by truly attentive service, although it did occasionally take a little too long to arrive. But we easily tolerated this thanks to the excellent food and the chilled drinks—they also serve good Israeli wines, of course. I'd love to come back!

There were four of us in the restaurant. The food was OK, but the staff were very unfriendly. What could be worse than being served by such staff? One thing is clear: we'll never be back. But I wish you all the best anyway.

Feinberg's is a wonderful place to try authentic Israeli food. We eat here regularly. :) We love the warm atmosphere and welcoming international clientele, and the owner is a very pleasant person. There are many vegan options. The vegan shakshuka and the baked cauliflower with tahini are delicious! And I love the Israeli salad. They also offer gluten-free bread, which is important to us. We've always been very satisfied and can highly recommend Feinberg's. *****

Feinberg's is definitely recommended if you want to eat Israeli food in Berlin. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is perfect. In summer, it's best to sit outside. In the evenings, I recommend making a reservation in advance.

I came here on a recommendation, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The price/performance ratio is completely out of whack. The food was described to me completely differently than what was served. Avoid this place at all costs and look for one of the many other restaurants.

The service was unfriendly and practically pressured me to tip. Since the food wasn't prepared well either, I didn't leave one. It happens; not every restaurant can be good. Besides, most of the food isn't even Israeli.

I was on a short vacation in Berlin and heard the restaurant was good, but I don't think it was!

Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't live up to expectations. What was particularly striking was that the fish served neither seemed fresh nor tasted good. The service also left a lot to be desired. So, I'll never go back there again. I'd rather save myself the trouble.

Food was good apart from the pickles which were really salty. Didn’t pay for them, so not too worried. Meal was great and they provided me with a gluten free bread option instead of the regular flatbread which was great.

It used to be better. At some point the quality changed. There were probably savings made in certain areas/important areas. Unfortunately, a visit is no longer worth it... At least the offering is still pleasant.
