The food tasted the same, everything was submerged in the oil. Too big portions, too much bread for every dish. The service wasn't the best either. Forgot to add drinks to the bill. I waited a long time for the bill.

The food is very good, the service is very courteous and friendly. Allergens are dealt with excellently. The only downside: it quickly gets quite loud in the room, making it a bit tiring to hold a conversation. Otherwise it is an absolute recommendation.

Food was first class but service really wasn't good. Wrong food, cold food, lack of information or obvious miscommunication between the individual forces. Difficult order taking took a long time. The hummus was great, but I won't come back just because of the staff. But they were friendly.

It was my first time in a Jewish restaurant and I therefore relied on the waiters' recommendations, which never disappointed. The service was attentive but not intrusive. We paid around €90 for two people with a starter, main course and dessert, which was quite reasonable. There is only a small deduction for the ambience, as the tables are very close together and I was afraid of clearing the neighboring table when I put on my jacket. In any case, Feinbergs is worth a visit, especially if, like me, you have had no experience with Jewish cuisine.

You put a lot of effort here and still seem disoriented.

We have enjoyed ordering here for a few years. The food tastes very fresh and less finished than in comparable shops. Today we were accidentally delivered the wrong food. The restaurant responded so incredibly kindly, diligently and accommodatingly that we were totally touched. We have rarely experienced such great customer service! The white cabbage salad is by far my favorite dish and the sabich with mushrooms. We will definitely continue to eat and order there!

Terrible service, rude and inexperienced. If you book a table there is no timeslot in the confirmation email so they can just lie about the time you booked the table and say you were late so they gave it away. The food is nice though, too bad the mood is ruined before getting to it.

I as a black African went with a friend of mine who is Jewish to support the restaurant after hearing that they struggling due the conflict between Israel and Palestine. In return our experience was disappointing. It started with the unprofessional waiter who completely disregarded our order and without any explanation nor apology. To make the matter worse , the exact menu that we have order was served to the table next to us and they just there for no more than twenty minutes. We don’t recommend this place when you can go in Berlin where you are welcome.

Feinberg’s is one of my go to restaurants in Berlin. It’s always busy so book ahead. Food has been consistently good for me. I went recently without a reservation. They had no space but let me sit outside when I asked, and turned the heaters on for me. My waitress was incredibly kind and attentive even though I was the only one outdoors. She checked on me regularly. Price was reasonable for a sophisticated restaurant in this area of Berlin. See you again soon.

I look back on my visit to Feinbergs with mixed feelings. The food, without a doubt, was delicious and the ambience was harmonious - a little piece of Israel in the middle of Berlin! But unfortunately the dining experience couldn't save the poor service. Our orders were mixed up several times, and there was a kind of chaos that almost spoiled my appetite. As if that wasn't enough, I had to watch my family eat for a good half hour while my own meal was lost somewhere in the kitchen. As a small “compensation” there were only two inedible espressos on the house - a gesture that unfortunately offered little relief. The matter continued with payment: here too, the staff seemed hopelessly overwhelmed, which caused additional confusion. I give it two stars, and only because the taste and atmosphere were able to turn things around to some extent. Nevertheless, the bitter aftertaste of the chaotic service remains in the memory.

We went there yesterday to spend my birthday with eight people for the first time. I read about the restaurant's difficult situation in the newspaper. Then I decided to go eat there. I have no experience with Israeli food yet. I can say it was worth it. A lot of things had to be explained to us first. It was very, very tasty. Thank you for the lovely evening. Ordered with great expectations and bitterly disappointed, most of it is simply copied from Arabic cuisine and you can get it prepared with more love on every corner in Berlin and definitely cheaper. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. But it’s only because of one staff personel - Ivan. He was super friendly and helpful whole night.. and he really helped me to pick the dish that satisfied my tastes… he is presantable, looks very handsome and nice. I would definitely go there again, for food of course but also for him. Give this man a rise!!

This was our second time at Feinberg's and the evening was great again. The reservation worked wonderfully and the waiter was able to advise us well on the selection and number of dishes. This gave us a great selection of different dishes and flavors and we were able to try a lot. In addition, a small live band with Israeli music sweetened our evening. At the end there was a liqueur from the boss on the house. We would be happy to come back on our next visit.

When me and my Mischpoke are in Berlin, a visit here at Feinberg's is always a must. A few months ago the boss was sitting at the next table and we talked a little. Yorai is a brave man who keeps his nose to the wind and defies all hostility online and on site. Good this way! My favorite dish is the Jerusalem platter, I've actually never eaten anything else here. Maybe next time my wife will convince me to try the Shakshuka Merguez, which she really enjoyed. Oh, definitely try the Maccabee beer! Last time it was sold out and was delivered exactly when we were there. And I looked longingly at boxes of warm beer. Good food, very bad service: the order taken was obviously not saved, the main course came before the starter (without cutlery, all tables around were covered, our table was not - the many waiters have no overview and are uncoordinated), then came the starter, whereupon we had to send the main course back. We then had to wait 1 hour for the main course.

Food was so good ! You get good taste of chicken and lamb kebab with salad and pickles. Everything was exceptional too good ! I just felt tahini was a bitter or tasted different which i usually have. In a strange twist, when you search for a kosher restaurant in Berlin, you appear first, When the atmosphere in the restaurant is very Jewish. I am a person who eats kosher. I was surprised when I arrived at the restaurant and asked for something kosher. The waiter looked at me like an alien and of course told me that he did not understand how I could ask for such a thing and that he could not offer me something kosher. It's a shame that there are kosher photos in the review and that you appear as a result of kosher in Berlin. It makes people wrong and uncomfortable.

Unfortunately there are no plastic straws on site. Still 5/5 ⭐️ for the authentic Israeli cuisine.

A really great restaurant, super delicious food. I had hummus with mushrooms there yesterday and it was the best I've eaten so far. The selection of vegan dishes is very large, even for Berlin. It's also super nice both inside and outside, and since it's on a side street it's also super quiet. The people in attendance are all super friendly too. 🇮🇱💛

Fantastic Israeli food! We particularly recommend the Israeli platter for two people – we really enjoyed it. Only the wine was not convincing, neither the Sauvignon Blanc included in the menu nor the additionally ordered one. With a better wine selection and a slightly more coordinated service, this would be the perfect restaurant for a successful evening in Berlin.

Unfortunately, it took a long time to eat, it was cold and I had a hair in my falafel. Maybe it's time to do it yourself, but it's very unpleasant. In fact, there was a very unpleasant smell in the store that day (it was the first time there) and to make matters worse, it was also quite expensive. Although the staff was very friendly, it was probably the last time.

Visited during a quiet Sunday afternoon, when it was easy to find a table and with relaxed but friendly and assertive service. Had sea bream fish on the bone, which was freshly cooked and nicely flavoured (stuffed with fresh sliced lemon and bay leaves). The fish was served with seasoned rice and salad. Nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks (opted for sparkling elderflower, which was available in 3 sizes; S, M and L). And then enjoyed espresso macchiato afterwards. Portion plentiful and so did not have a pudding afterwards. The place was clean and tidy, including the bathroom. The menu was available in German and English. Recommend.

We ate very extensively and the wine was a must. Unfortunately, I don't come to Berlin often and I live further away, but the next time I'm in Berlin, the Feinerg's restaurant is a must for me. For me, the best Israeli restaurant in Berlin. Located in a quiet side street near the zoo, the restaurant offers everything your heart desires: delicious food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. When we are in Berlin, a visit is a must.

I would never go to this store because the prices are ridiculously overpriced. And there is no such thing as Israeli cuisine and this restaurant proves it with distinction - no dish is Israeli - or is schnitzel Israeli too? That's good, but it's sad what quality the aubergine is. The wine, whatever they call merlot, is syrup and there is no better way to describe it. Sorry, but anyone who thinks so much about taking money out of people's pockets is greedy. And anyone who thinks they have eaten good falafel here or thinks they know hummus is wrong, you can also buy hummus in the supermarket. It's just as good. And falafel makes every snack better and cheaper.
