A very pleasant atmosphere and ambiance. Great tableware, cool pictures from Israel. We enjoyed a delicious aperitif wine, tasty hummus with chicken, and an appetizer platter. Highly recommended.

The service is incredibly arrogant, and the fact that it will only be cash-only by 2025 says it all... The tax office should look into this.

If I lived in Berlin, I'd be a regular there… My colleague and I went to Feinbergs for dinner. We hadn't made a reservation and were seated right away. The attentive, unobtrusive, and warm service was immediately noticeable. We absolutely loved the ambiance and the meticulous attention to detail in everything. The food was deliciously seasoned, and all the ingredients were fresh, especially the merguez sausage and the chicken rice dish. For dessert, we had latkes and rose petal cream—fantastic! The special drinks menu had so many interesting options that it was hard to choose. The "Jerusalem Sunday" with kiddo wine is highly recommended! Everything was just perfect.

Delicious and authentic Israeli food. The waiters were also very attentive and friendly. Many tables upstairs were reserved, so we were quickly offered a private room in the basement. Unusual, but cozy and, most importantly, pleasantly quiet. In other restaurants, we might have been forgotten, but the waiters at Feinbergs were very present and always available. A very pretty restaurant in a pleasant setting. The outdoor seating is lovely in the summer. I had hummus with merguez sausage. It was excellent. I would have loved to try dessert, but unfortunately, I was far too full. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Berlin.

Best chef in the world the food was very delicious

The service was truly terrible. I had to go up to the server every time to get a drink. The food was served without cutlery. Even after repeated requests, it wasn't brought to the table. It's a shame; it ruined the evening.

I was excited and expecting actual Israeli meals to be served, but was disappointed to see only Arab, Persian and Turkish dishes marketed as “Israeli”. The taste was just okay for the price. As for the service, the place boasts about how they are so tolerant of other cultures, but we felt very unwelcome by the rude staff, probably because we were speaking Tajik (Persian) among ourselves. The atmosphere is okay.

The location is perfect between KaDeWe and the nightlife district at Nollendorfplatz, in the center of three subway stations, close to the Ku'damm, yet on a quieter side street. The restaurant is very stylishly decorated. The waitresses are international and understand German. The service was first-class: fast, friendly, and unobtrusive. The prices are reasonable for this unique mid-to-upscale Israeli restaurant. Cash only. The food was delicious, harmoniously seasoned, and professionally garnished. The portion sizes were generous. There was plenty of pita bread. An appetizer (olives and radish) was also served as a side dish. I had Sabich Classic and decaffeinated coffee. The portion of sabich was large and delicious, and it's available in vegan, vegetarian, and meat versions. Open Friday evenings and Saturdays, too. My companion was also full; we were thrilled and would gladly return.

I was passing by and checked the restaurant from out and inside, also the menu. Nice design and the menu looks tasty and promising. I also did read some comments. Some of them are not nice and not real but also please try to understand people's frustration. For sure what happend in Israel in October 2 years ago was terrible attack but your country does at the moment in Gaza a real human genocide and Israel does not own the word Holocaust for themselves anymore. If you have any kind of influence please advise your Goverment to stop this sensless attack and killing innocent people in Gaza.

I ate baba ganoush, labneh, latkes, and mushroom salad here, along with a Nesher malt beer. Everything was excellent. Apparently, because they were processing a catering order, I was told that the latkes would take about 15 minutes longer to prepare. In return, they gave me pita bread on the house. The latkes arrived only about 5 minutes later. I'd gladly come back.

While it's completely absurd to begin a restaurant review like this, the current political situation seems to necessitate it: I feel a close connection to Israel (WITHOUT endorsing the policies of Netanyahu's current right-wing government!), and as a devout Christian, I see Jews as my "older" brothers and sisters in faith. And because I wish I could live in a world where an Israeli restaurant is simply perceived for what it is—namely, a restaurant—here comes my review. The ambiance of Feinberg on a Berlin summer night is wonderful. The furniture and accessories are tasteful, and the tables are beautifully set. We opted for the "Israeli Mischmasch" for two people. Since the Mischmasch comes with two glasses of Prosecco, we asked the waiter if one of the two Proseccos could be spiced up with something fruity, like pomegranate syrup. This question left the otherwise somewhat confused waiter quite perplexed. He told us that no guest had ever asked for that... well, given the price for this mishmash, I think such a customer request is entirely within the realm of possibility. He then actually brought a Prosecco with some strawberry jam ;-) The meal itself was also very lovingly presented. First, there was a starter of all sorts of dips with bread. Since we were hungry and didn't know any better, we dug in. That was a mistake, because the dips would have been a good complement to the meat and the rather dry and uninspiring falafel of the main course. And although we thoroughly enjoyed the evening because of the beautiful surroundings, it remains to be said: Overall, we've eaten much better and much more cheaply in Israel (and also in Berlin!).

I've been to Freibergs several times, but unfortunately, we weren't served today. A young man listlessly placed the menu on the table. He then preferred to occupy himself with his cell phone and a young woman. After 15 minutes, we left the restaurant. And a table across the hall hadn't been cleared yet. That hadn't been done either. Plates and drinks were ignored.

You can't imagine the ignorant conditions at this establishment. I was completely discriminated against and degraded, making me feel unwelcome. Besides, there are much better options for Arabic (Israeli) cuisine in Berlin. Never again.

Delicious specialty lemonades with real fruit (apricot lemonade, raspberry lemonade, etc.) I highly recommend them. Nice atmosphere.

On a plus side, it's a pleasant terrace - perfect for a summer dinner - and the food is generally tasty. Service that night wasn't great (slow / messy), but I'm not going to generalize as I had the sense that the staff was simply a little tired. However it's simply too expensive for what you get - e.g. 16€ for a hummus plate with two small pieces of bread. 7.5€ for sparkling water. And I find it shocking that a restaurant of this standing doesn't accept cards *at all*. I had to walk 15 min to the nearest ATM, it kinda killed the mood at the end of an otherwise nice evening.

I went there with my mom and my daughter — we had such a great time! Everything was super tasty, with very generous portions and really kind staff. The cocktails were excellent, and they have the best amba I’ve ever had! I’ll definitely go there again!

The food ended up being cold, and the drinks weren't even chilled. All in all, a bad experience and not recommended.

At the end of our vacation in Berlin, we ate at Feinberg's on the recommendation of our friend. What can we say? We've rarely been so happy during and after a meal. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious! Be sure to order the Israel MischMasch Premium if you're not sure what you want. There's something for everyone here. The homemade spritzers are also not to be missed; we had raspberry and cherry.
