Masel Topf in Berlin

Visited on Valentine's Day, incredible atmosphere, good service and cuisine. Delicious cocktails from their homemade syrup. We will definitely come back.

The Masel Topf is a special restaurant because of the atmosphere. The food is very tasty and the employees are super nice.

We've been here twice for brunch and have always been very impressed by the atmosphere and the menu. The service was always there and very friendly. Now I tried the restaurant for dinner and it certainly won't be the last time I've been here. There was cauliflower at the front, quite minimalist but well made and tasty. Then the Jerusalem Grill. The chicken was a poem! But the rest is also excellent. Finally, a NY cheesecake. Totally recommended.

A very nice and good restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg. The food is really excellent. There is only a minimal deduction for service because little things were forgotten, which wasn't a bad thing, but it wasn't perfect. A slight deduction for the ambience because it was unfortunately very loud, which made conversations a little more difficult. But it was also packed, which speaks for itself and so it's no wonder that there was a certain amount of background noise. The ambience itself is really nice and cozy. The price is a bit higher quality, but relatively reasonable. Gladly again!

I'll be honest - I had to give it 5 stars in all categories. Truly a unique mix of old Berlin restaurant flair and Israeli cuisine. Successful, really successful! On Friday there was live music on the piano, which made the already well-rounded experience even better. The ambience is extremely pleasant, the service friendly and attentive, and the food is simply divine. The cauliflower, lamb and chicken are particularly recommended.

A wonderful reastaurant experience between the years! First: top location in Prenzlberg, tasteful and cozy Wilhelminian style ambience inside. Despite the store being full, the service was attentive and friendly, gave us personal advice and recommended things without being intrusive or simply trying to increase sales. The cuisine could be described as a successful, modern combination of Levant and Europe: something new, unusual, but very interesting-sounding that makes you want to try the entire menu. With lots of spices and fresh herbs. What we had was very tasty, including the dessert. Overall: Fine dining at an affordable price. Gladly again! Oh yes - and there was great live piano music too

Здесь всегда все свежее и вкусное. Официанты дружелюбные и услужливые. Некоторые отлично говорят на русском языке. Всегда быстро обслуживают. Единственный минус- столик приходиться заказывать заранее, место популярное среди местных, народу ходит много.

We had a wonderful dinner at Masel Topf - the service was courteous, the food was delicious and it didn't take long to arrive. Generally a very pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant, which is decorated in the style of the 1920s. I'd love to come back!

I was there with my wife spontaneously on Saturday at 5:00 p.m., without a reservation. The staff was very accommodating and nice. The food was excellent. Our mouths were watering as we ate. As a starter we had the black Cauliflower, blomenkohl with a truffle reduction. For the main course, my wife had the falafel plate and I had the Jerusalem Grill. The falafel was very tasty as was the baba ganoush and the hummus. The beef and chicken at Jerusalem Grill were buttery tender and perfectly seasoned. For dessert there was chocolate cake. Also to melt away again. The service was very attentive and quick. Definitely recommended for value for money. We'd love to come back.

For years we have visited this restaurant every time we visit Berlin, where we first came into contact with Jewish/Israeli cuisine. We always enjoy it here - the ingredients and preparation are always top notch. The food was delicious today too. We went on a trip to Jerusalem and were very satisfied with the quantity and taste - the salad with its aromas and creamy feta, the wonderfully tender chicken, the crispy latkes and the pudding stood out. The service was also friendly and very attentive. Added to this is the cozy living room atmosphere and the absolutely reasonable price-performance ratio.

Super tasty and authentic food. The menu covers every type of diet. I was really excited about my visit here. We were particularly impressed by the appetizer platter. But the main course and dessert were also fantastic.

Amazing jewisch/ middle eastern restaurant with a great breakfast selection. I can highly recommend the shashouka. There are great vegetarian options on the menue. The restaurant is very cozy and styles according to the 1920s in Berlin. They also have great options for children!

Here it tastes as if someone had cooked with love for their family. And that's exactly how you're treated, and the atmosphere reflects that. Simply wonderful and feel good!

Masel Topf se presenta como un restaurante judío o israelí, aunque ni la decoración / ambiente ni el menú encajan realmente en ninguna de las descripciones. Lo describiría más como fusión Berlín/Mediterráneo con un menú sustancial pero no exclusivamente vegetariano. De cualquier manera es un buen restaurante, con comida saludable, porciones generosas, un ambiente hogareño y un buen servicio. Un viernes por la noche estaba totalmente lleno de clientes, siempre una buena señal. Tuve un entrante de baba ghanoush con pita, que aprecio mucho. A diferencia de muchos lugares, no se ahogaba en sabor a humo artificial, ni se empapaba en mayonesa. Muy sabroso. Como plato principal elegí el estragón - estofado de champiñones silvestres con sabor servido sobre polenta parmesana, que de nuevo estaba delicioso, aunque ligeramente desequilibrado a favor de la polenta. En general, recomiendo encarecidamente el lugar.

Not only did he make sure we felt completely comfortable, but he also had great recommendations and was always available without being intrusive. The “Masel Topf” is a wonderful restaurant with Jewish cuisine. Great location in the Kollwitzkiez and in the summer you can also sit outside. The food tasted great and the service was great. The ambience is wonderfully reminiscent of Berlin in the 1920s, even the wallpaper was stylish. At the end of the evening, a woman spontaneously played the piano.

It may be that the food there is very tasty, but the boss is very unfriendly to the suppliers and wants to look at his cell phone to see the order. Don't even say hello and looking at your cell phone is actually not common practice because of data protection. It is enough if you tell him the name of who the delivery is for. As rude as he is to the drivers, you really get the feeling that it's not appreciated, even though we're making your business by delivering your food. Too bad.

We had reserved a table at 8 p.m. to have a lovely evening on October 3rd. When we arrived on time we were assigned a table at a very small distance. Then we waited for the menu... Other guests were served... We waited... After 25 minutes a waiter came... A suitable excuse was ready. We asked for drinks and an order was not taken. No MA appeared. We then left after another five minutes of waiting. It was a big disappointment for us to encounter such poor service.

Excellent food. A restaurant that doesn't value being as trendy or as eye-catching as possible, but rather simply providing good cuisine and good service and being successful at it. It was a great pleasure to spend an evening there and eat with such high quality.

Amazing gem just across from the Rykestraße Synogogue. Great ambiance in the outdoor seating, and staff with serious waiterly talent. Multilingual, as well. The chicken was perfectly tender, and the rissoto was unlike anything I'd ever eaten.

We had a wonderful breakfast with three people. Very tasty, whether savory or sweet. The portions were a very pleasant size and the coffee and orange juice were very good. We were able to sit outside on one of the last days of summer, but were not directly exposed to the sun as a great big tree cast a pleasant shade. Very comfortable chairs, the pleasant ambience on Rykestr., the friendly and fast service and of course the very pleasant host made it a wonderful breakfast. We will definitely come back for another visit, including for lunch.
