Very good food. Very nice place. Very friendly team. UNFORTUNATELY THEY SELL WINE FROM THE SETTELMENTS...

We were really looking forward to our visit, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment overall. Despite having a reservation and only one occupied table in the restaurant, we were seated right next to a group of five. When we asked to change tables, we were only offered a seat next to the restroom aisle. We weren't offered any tables by the window—those were given to guests who walked in spontaneously (without a reservation) after us. My main criticism, however, concerns the meat: I would never have expected to find blood in the meat from a Jewish restaurant. This was especially disappointing for me because I'm pregnant and therefore pay particular attention to the preparation of my food. Furthermore, we weren't asked in advance how we'd like our meat cooked.

Initially, we were greeted warmly, but our reservation seemed to be clear, at least not to everyone, and there were several questions. The meal, including the starter, was rated as good, and the main course as excellent. Unfortunately, the rosé wine that accompanied it wasn't chilled enough. Incidentally, we (2 people) were denied a requested table (for 4 people), which initially seemed perfectly understandable, but then 5 minutes later it was given to two other people – unfortunate to say the least. There were no paper towels in the restroom, which was unhygienic. The restaurant is still highly recommended.

A favorite spot. Friday evening with piano accompaniment. Beautiful ambiance, excellent food, and fine drinks. Angelina is a charming and attentive hostess.

The food was unfortunately a bit disappointing; the €24 starter plate was too expensive, as was the falafel plate. The falafel tasted good, but the portions were much too small and lacked refinement. I can get better and cheaper options at a snack bar. The lamb was okay. The pearl barley risotto was very well-done. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere inside was cozy, although the tables were very close together.

From the bright, friendly greeting and attentive service of Angelina to the quaint, old world atmosphere this sweet gem of a restaurant is a must visit when in the Prenzlauer Berg area. BUT the amazing food is a reason to return again and again. My husband ordered the Honey Brisket - perfection and I ordered the Jerusalem platter. Divine flavour in every diverse bite. Highly highly recommend. Cannot remember when I’ve enjoyed a meal out as much.

One of the best restaurants in Berlin. When we were there on a Saturday evening, a lady played the piano incredibly beautifully, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The service was excellent. The same goes for the food – creative dishes, freshly prepared, and delicious. We highly recommend the restaurant.

Very good food and unique recipes for vegetarian food. Price is on the higher side for vegetarian food but atmosphere is nice.

We had spent a very delicious early dinner here. Our waitress was very attentive, service was excellent. The Salted Caramel & Chocchoc is to die for! Must try! We'll definately return should we be visiting Berlin again.

A lovely meal here, it felt very authentic and local, our server was very patient with the language barrier! The food was so tasty and very generous portions. We also really liked the restaurant’s vibe, to us, a real local eatery.

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere and delicious food! The goat cheese salad, in particular, is a dream. We drove the extra 40 minutes to Masel Topf and would make the trip again anytime. You can only get this experience here. The service is also very friendly and attentive :)

I like eating Israeli food, but this one not only made me wait a long time for my food, but there were also many fellow Israelis at the next table who were talking very loudly and behaving in a way that would not be tolerated in any restaurant. Next door to them was a family with a child who left the restaurant without having finished their food! A no-go in my eyes. I don't know if that's the arrogant Jewish way or if it was an exception, but in conclusion... never again.

I ordered out and and ate in many times. Recently, the delivered orders are below any standard: - Shawarma had one (1) little piece of chicken, and that pink in the middle (undercooked) - grill plate had a bigger piece of chicken, also pink inside. Merguez/kebab was equally raw. Overall quality of dishes for delivery has sunk a not just the undercooked meat, also other aspects like soggy pitas, unblended sauces, etc.

A thoroughly successful evening at Masel Topf We had a wonderful evening – super hospitable, incredibly good service, and an atmosphere that simply made you feel at home. Inside, there's a cozy living room vibe, while outside it's pleasantly quiet – perfect for relaxing. The service was particularly attentive: every time our water ran out, it was immediately refilled. You rarely experience such attention! The food was a real highlight – not only in terms of taste, but also in terms of appearance. We had: the goat cheese salad, cauliflower with truffle sauce, the eggplant platter, the falafel platter, and for dessert, an incredibly delicious chocolate cake with Thaina. Everything was fantastically prepared, and the wine was also impressive. We stayed until the end because the atmosphere was just so lovely. We'll definitely be back, thank you for everything, and keep up the good work!

We had the falafel plate and the fried cauliflower. Both were too small for main courses and of subpar quality. The cauliflower was cold. After complaining, it came back, only lukewarm. We asked for bread, but it wasn't brought. The value for money wasn't right for us.

I was walking around the berlin’s downtown area and i saw this wonderful restsaurant with unique design. Masel Topf it is a one of the best restaurant that i’ve visited in Berlin. This restaurant offer Israel cuisine. It was a really busy day at the restaurant, but service was still amazing as well as food. The atmosphere was awesome, there was a live music, piano player, such a nice classic music with the cozy atmosphere. The coctail was original, made by restaurant. I ordered Aperol Sour very light and ideally in combination with Blumenkohl & S-Chug ( it is vegeterian dish). The restaurant has vegan and vegeterians options as well, it is an advantage. Overall, it was such a nice experience. I would love to return to that place.

The food is not only delicious, but also beautifully presented – I especially recommend the pastrami sandwich and the latkes! The vegetarian options are also well-thought-out and delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making you feel immediately welcome. Despite the busy restaurant, the service was fast and professional. Whether for a relaxed dinner or a special experience with friends – Masel Topf is definitely worth recommending. I'd love to come back!

I ate the mezze plate. Supposedly the best of everything. But it was just marinated salmon on pancakes and zucchini rolls. It also came with flatbread cut into microscopically small wedges and at least two slices of white bread. Everything tasted bland, and the hummus was just plain bad. My request for more bread was granted, and I received two more slices, which added up to €1.50 to the bill. The menus are completely filthy and dirty, and the tables aren't clean either. I can't recommend this place at all and I'm annoyed I didn't go to Feinberg. The service wasn't the best either. They didn't even bother to ask whether I liked it. So stay away from this place.

The food was mediocre, but overpriced. The wait times were significantly too long—both for the food and for service. Some of the staff were unfriendly or disinterested. Particularly annoying: Two-thirds of the sidewalk in front of the restaurant is already blocked with tables and chairs, and plants and signs are also being placed on the narrow remaining space. Pedestrians, parents with strollers, and people with disabilities can barely get through. Completely inconsiderate.

This restaurant in Berlin is a small and cozy place with a nice vibe. The waiter was super friendly, helped us choose food and drinks, and knew the menu really well. I went with my partner, and we had hummus, baba ganoush, and a few moze plates. Everything was super tasty. The food felt fresh and full of flavor. The only small downside is that the restaurant is expensive. But it was very yummy, and we will for sure come back for a special occasion.

I arrived in Berlin with my wife and was told the kitchen was still open. Luckily a waiter who spoke Italian and other languages ​​served us, he told us, because the poor guy had to wait for us in a hurry and we hadn't even finished the appetizer, the kitchen put pressure on the waiter to bring us the second course already. The 5 Stars are for him, but really to say they are open and then make all this fuss to go home, it's a Too Bad Restaurant. Thanks to the young waiter who waited for us with all kindness and professionalism. This place doesn't deserve it.

Super delicious, tahini eggplant was my favorite.

Honestly, maybe other dishes are better, but my falafel plate was simply a disgrace for €17. A relatively small portion (there are numerous pictures here - the dough shell makes it look much larger), carelessly prepared, and with ingredients that sounded like they came from a can/packet, simply bland and inferior. There were about five falafel balls that were just about OK, then cheap feta thrown in straight from the plastic wrapper, with a few sour gherkin slices, a not-quite-ripe but already dried-out quarter of a tomato, a grilled eggplant slice, and a zucchini slice that had absolutely no seasoning or any flavor other than a sooty grill pan and hummus that could have come from a can. This is how I imagine a bachelor with minimal expectations, zero taste, and zero desire to prepare it would have dinner. You'd pay a maximum of €5 for something like this at any kebab stand and not bother going to a restaurant. Although the food at the snack bar is probably even fresher and tastier. Where all the good reviews come from is a mystery to me. Maybe they're all cheap tourists with no taste. I'm giving it a second star for the friendly waiter, even though after he got his shift change with the lip fillers, he had to smoke a cigarette right next to me before starting work. But that's not forbidden, just as bad food, lack of consideration, or substandard service are not forbidden. One would still wish for something more stylish in this beautiful location. Inside, it also looked like a worn-out living room. The view of the synagogue was the only nice thing.

Unfortunately, the menu was disappointing. We were expecting pierogi, goulash soup, and similar Eastern European dishes, or a real US hamburger, but traditional Arabic dishes seem to sell better...

I love this restaurant! Beautiful location, elegant decor, authentic Israeli food with a fusion food style, great service, and above all, the feeling of having experienced something special, created with passion and attention to detail. I highly recommend the "Trip to Jerusalem" plate, the mezze mixes, and their house specialty, the cardamom coffee (delicious, delicious, and a surprisingly good, unique taste). I first visited the restaurant around 12:20 PM without a reservation and immediately got a table for three people. If we had come at 1:00/1:30 PM, we wouldn't have gotten a table because it filled up quickly! I'll be happy to come back. :)

The food is always on point, and the prices make it easy to come often or order delivery without thinking twice. Honestly, it’s a hidden gem in the neighborhood. They’ve been here for years, as I know, but I still find myself rooting for them every time. Do them and yourself a favor and pay them a visit.

Yes, I was in this place, but I can say that the service is not very good and the cuisine is not at all the same as it was praised, especially the manager Vladimir himself made a very bad impression, the student is a correct person and communicates in an uncivilized manner and in general is very terrible, very sad and pitiful, as if we wasted our time, what we thought would be very pleasant in this establishment, but it turned out that the atmosphere and everything else was terrible, so the impression remained very unpleasant because of the manager Vladimir.

An all-round successful visit to the restaurant! We were warmly welcomed and served excellently – we felt welcome from the start. The order was received through dialogue, which seemed very pleasant and honest. The live piano music in the background was particularly nice, adding an atmospheric accompaniment to the whole thing. It was also a culinary delight: the starters – matzo ball soup and hummus – were delicious. For the main course we had the Honey Brisket and the Jerusalem Grill - both tasted great and prepared with love. The whole thing was rounded off with an oat Malabi for dessert. An evening to remember – we will definitely be back!

Had a great meal here. We chose the Jerusalem grill which is served in an oven-baked pita. It is strange that the hot and cold dishes are on top of each other on the pita, but it looks great and tastes delicious. For dessert we chose the salted caramel chocchoc which was also very tasty. Cheerful service. The decor is a bit retro 70s-like. There is also a heated terrace.

The only thing I didn't like was the abundance of herbs in my tahini and eggplant. A little less would have been more pleasant, at least for me. This won't stop us from returning. It was so filling that we had the leftovers packed away. Highly recommended!

We came here during the weekend afternoon, the cozy outdoor seats look perfect for a cocktail 🍸👀, and stepping inside felt like a warm embrace—classic red wooden chairs, dark brown tables, and gorgeous chandeliers. We had the pastramis salmons, black cauliflowers, wild mushrooms ragout, and the transitional Israeli grilled chicken & beef skewer. Overall are satisfying, the grilled chicken was one of the best chicken I had in Berlin which marinated perfectly with a medley of diverse aromatic spices. The service was amazing as well.

Great authentic decor and nice ambience. We received a friendly and warm welcome and were lucky to get a table without a reservation. We quickly received the menus with drink recommendations and then we were spoiled for choice. We opted for the homemade lemonade made from mint syrup, lemon juice and sparkling water as well as tarragon lemonade. For the main course we chose the goat cheese salad with a falafel plate and Jerusalem Grill. All three dishes were tasty and filling. For dessert there was Oat Malabi. Very good! All in all it was a nice, delicious restaurant visit. We'll be back.
